Here's Who's Responsible for the Racist Killings of the NYPD Officers

new-york-city-shootingOn Day of His Murder, NYPD Officer Would Have Been Commissioned as Lay Chaplain

By Sami Martin. Officer Rafael Ramos was passionate about serving God and saw his work as a police officer as a form of ministry; he would have been commissioned as a lay chaplain this past Saturday, the day he was killed.

Ramos was shot and killed execution style along with his partner, Wenjian Liu, on Saturday by a lone gunmen who took his own life inside a New York City subway station after committing the double murder.

Rev. Marcos Miranda, the president of the New York State Chaplain Task Force where Ramos was studying to be certified as a chaplain, remembers the officer as kind man.

“It was an honor to have him (Officer Ramos),” Miranda told The Christian Post. “He had just taken the 10-week course and was a faithful member of his local church, Christ Tabernacle. He was due to graduate this past Saturday, where we graduated 144 chaplains. Ramos would have been a lay leader and been endorsed by his denomination.”

“I will remember his kindness the most — even the kindness in his eyes — in our talks, he asked what I thought of him being a police officer, and I said it was an honorable job. He said he thought it was ministry because he was helping those in need. He never thought he could be a chaplain, he saw himself doing this type of ministry after he retired from the NYPD. He was very excited about that possibility,” Miranda added. Read more from this story HERE.

The Four Who “Gave Aid and Comfort” to the Racist Murders of the Two NYPD Cops

By Patrick Buchanan. “NYPD, KKK, How many kids did you kill today?”

That was one of the chants of anti-police protesters in New York City. Another was, “What do we want? Dead cops! When do we want them? Now!”

Well, the marchers got their wish Saturday in Bedford-Stuyvesant when Ismaaiyl Brinsley, 28, firing into a patrol car, murdered NYPD officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu. . .

[H]ere is where the moral culpability of de Blasio, Holder, Al Sharpton and President Obama lies. They gave aid and comfort to the cop-haters and cop-baiters.

When did any of these four speak up or speak out to denounce the blocking of squares, highways, bridges, tunnels, shops and stores, from New York to the Mall of America?

When did they denounce the protesters for their hateful anti-police rhetoric? When did they demand that these mobs go home and respect the rule of law and decisions of the grand jury, even if they disagreed?

When a Staten Island grand jury voted not to indict NYPD Officer Daniel Pantaleo in the death of Eric Garner, the mayor did not urge the city to accept it calmly, but expressed astonishment, called it a “very painful day for so many New Yorkers” and said he had warned his biracial son to be especially careful dealing with cops. Poll Shows Major Differences by Race in Perception of Police

By Z. Byron Wolf. There is a defined racial divide in America between how whites and non-whites view police and the criminal justice system, according to a CNN / ORC poll released Monday.

More than half of white Americans – 57% – think none or almost none of the police in their area are prejudiced against blacks. Just one quarter of non-white Americans feel the same way.

The survey, which was mostly conducted before the shooting of NYPD Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos in New York over the weekend, found similar results on perceptions of the justice system as a whole. While 41% of Americans say the criminal justice system treats blacks fairly, far more whites – 50% – see equity. Among non-whites, that figure drops to just 21%. Two-thirds of non-whites said that the criminal justice system favors whites over blacks. Read more from this story HERE.

Look At That! Obama Tries To Focus Public On Racist Cops

By Neil Munro.

President Barack Obama’s first move in December will be to focus the nation’s attention on complaints about racist cops in African-American communities.

The move may be part of an effort to grab the political initiative after the Democrats’ massive losses in the Nov. 4 election, and also to keep the public’s attention away from his unpopular Nov. 21 announcement that he will provide 4 million illegal immigrants with work permits and taxpayer-funded aid programs.

Progressives, Democrats and media outlets stepped up their complaints about law enforcement in African-American neighborhoods after a grand jury decided Nov. 24 to not charge police officer Darren Wilson with any crime following his shooting of a black man in August in Ferguson, Mo.

The shooting — and the grand jury’s decision — prompted riots and was cited frequently by Democratic activists during the 2014 midterm campaign.

To grab the public’s attention for December, the White House announced Nov. 30 that Obama has a Dec. 1 morning meeting with cabinet members to talk about federal programs that supply equipment to local police forces.

WATCH: Eric Garner’s Death Wasn’t An Issue Of Race, Says His Daughter

Erica Garner is black, so the following can’t be racist. She’s the man’s daughter, so you can hardly accuse her of not caring. But I’m sure her opinion is invalid for some other reason. It’s simply not what she’s supposed to think.

Here she is talking to CNN’s Don Lemon, who’s clearly taken aback by her resistance to groupthink:

Limbaugh: Liberals Think the Secret Service Doesn’t Want to Protect Obama Because He’s Black

RUSH: Have you heard this? A couple members of the Congressional Black Caucasians — one of them is Elijah Cummings, the other one is Emanuel Cleaver — are running around, and they are saying that their constituents (who would obviously be African-Americans) are asking them if the Secret Service is purposely letting people in the White House because Obama’s black and they don’t care as much about protecting him.

You know where that story is? That story is in the — dadelut dadelut dadelut, wait for it — the New York Times. So the crowd at Zabar’s this morning got up, read the New York Times, “Wow. Holy cow! The Secret Service might have actually let those bad guys in there ’cause Obama’s black? Really?” Unbelievable. Never mind the fact that the Reverend Jackson has run for president and had a Secret Service detail.

Politico Magazine Lead Story: Star Spangled Banner is Racist

Photo Credit: IJ ReviewTo many Americans, the rise of the terrorist Islamic State is among the major threats facing the country. Or the continued flow of illegal aliens across our southern border. Or the economy and the fact that a record number of us – some 92 million – are no longer in the labor force.

But Saturday night, in its lead story, Politico Magazine published this burning question: “Is it time to ditch the Star-Spangled Banner?” According to author Tim Widmer, its lyrics are racist:

One line taunts the British for their failure, and specifically calls out “the hireling and slave” who joined the British forces. That line calls attention to a fact that considerably weakens the song’s claim to celebrate “the land of the free” – the presence of significant numbers of African-Americans, fighting with the British in hopes of finding a personal freedom they had no chance of securing in the United States. Among the invading army were at least 200 “colonial marines”—escaped slaves from Virginia and Maryland, eager to fight against their former masters.

‘T’ Is For … Thomas The Tank Engine Is Also Racist

Photo Credit: Daily CallerThe TV show “Thomas and Friends” is racist, wrote Tracy van Syke for the Guardian in July, because good engines puff white smoke and bad engines puff black smoke. She is so relieved her son doesn’t have “a manic train fascination like so many other children,” because although the show “seems to impart good moral lessons about hard work and friendship,” it is in reality “concealing some pretty twisted, anachronistic messages” — it’s racist, classist, sexist and anti-environmentalist. The smoke is just one example. “I’d like to think there was a good environmental message in there,” she writes, “but when the good engines pump out white smoke and the bad engines pump out black smoke … it’s not hard to make the leap into the race territory.”

Another person who has no trouble leaping into “the race territory” is author and activist Leonard Zeskind, who said at a National White Privilege Conference that the entire Tea Party is is marked by a contagious racism. “There has been a longitudinal study that find the longer you are in the Tea Party, the more racist you become,” he declared, and said the movement is like other white nationalist groups. “Is it racist?” he asked, and then answered himself: “Yes.”

The Tea Party rallying cry, “Take back our country,” is racist, Eugene Robinson wrote in a Washington Post op-ed in May. “In general, I try to focus on what a person does or says rather than speculate on what he or she is. How can I really know what’s in another person’s heart?” he asks, before implying that anyone holding a “Take Back Our Country” sign is racist, since they started using the phrase after a black man became president.

Eric Holder, Racial Profiler

Why has a federal civil-rights murder investigation arisen out of the tumult in a St. Louis exurb? There is only one plausible reason: Eric Holder is guilty of racial profiling.

To be clear, we are not talking here about whether there was justification for the shooting of a young black man, 18-year-old Michael Brown, by a young white police officer, 28-year-old Darren Wilson. Was the shooting a legitimate exercise in self-defense by an officer under attack? Was it an overreaction for which Officer Wilson should suffer serious civil and criminal consequences? Such questions can only be answered by a thorough and fair investigation, the kind of due process owed to both the victim and the subject of the investigation — the kind that, as National Review’s editors point out, will be tough to mete out with political thumbs pressing on the scales.

Whatever the outcome, though, murder — including homicide caused by a policeman’s application of excessive force — is generally not a federal crime. It is a concern of state law. Only a few categories of murder are within the jurisdiction of federal investigators. In the main, they are far afield from Ferguson: the assassination of a U.S. government official, for instance, or a killing incidental to offenses that have interstate or international repercussions — racketeering, drug-trafficking, and terrorism.

Federal civil-rights laws may be invoked, but only in exceedingly rare circumstances: murders carried out because of the victim’s race, ethnicity or religion (see Section 249 of the federal penal code); or murders carried out by police (or other persons acting “under color of law”) with the specific intent to deprive a person of some federal right or privilege — usually, but not necessarily, motivated by some animus toward race or analogous personal characteristics (see Section 242).

To constitute a civil-rights crime, it is not nearly enough for a violent act to have the “racial overtones” assorted agitators and commentators choosing to frame the case in racial terms contend it does. To justify a federal investigation, the Justice Department must have a rational basis to believe it could prove these invidious and evil purposes beyond a reasonable doubt. That requires compelling evidence, not a farfetched social-justice narrative.

Allen West: Obama Complains About Fake Racism Because He’s “Devoid of Character” (+video)

0 (83)President Barack Obama has come under increasing criticism for the consistent failure of his policies both domestically and around the world. Because his policies are based on liberal ideas that have failed time and time again in history, he has no way–either with logic or with evidence–to argue for his position.

Obama’s favorite argument is to accuse anyone who disagrees with his polices of racism. Former U.S. Representative Allen West, a military veteran and leading black conservative, says he has had enough of it.

West recent spoke at the Western Conservative Conference in Denver, the theme of which was “America at Its Best,” and refuted once and for all the idea that conservatives–and, increasingly, all Americans–stand in opposition to Obama’s policies because of the president’s race. “The first thing about America being at its best is the fact that a young man born in 1961 in the inner city of Atlanta, Georgia can stand here before you in the Western Conservative Conference, ” West said. “And it is not based upon the color of his skin, but it’s about the content of his character.”

West says that conservatives haven’t done enough to describe for Americans their hopeful vision of what America at its best can look like, giving liberals an open door to persuade people with “sound bites” that offer the hope Americans want and need. “And Americans fall for it,” he said.

Obama’s Spiritual Advisor Jim Wallis Goes On Race Rant

Photo Credit: Daily Caller Dr. Jim Wallis has been an icon in the liberal evangelical world for decades, through his political advocacy and as the editor-in-chief of the liberal Christian magazine Sojourners. Currently, in addition to his editorial duties, he is also a spiritual advisor to President Obama, one that visits the White House on a regular basis. The White House visitors log has 65 mentions of a Jim or James Wallis, often marked specifically as a meeting with the President or the First Lady.

So what does this man, who has the ear of the leader of the free world, actually believe? Well on Sunday, June 29, Wallis gave a speech at Wild Goose Festival, a progressive Christian music festival in Hot Springs, North Carolina, entitled, “Racism is America’s Original Sin.” In his speech, Wallis called America a country founded on racism and accused all Americans, especially those who take conservative political stances, of being racists.

Wallis opened with the story of when his son Jack was studying immigration in school. In his role as part of the Soros-funded Evangelical Immigration Table, Wallis has been very active in pushing for immigration reform and a path to citizenship in particular. Wallis was invited to address Jack’s class, during which he told them about the roughly 11 million illegal immigrants in the United States.

“The kids said, ‘Why don’t they fix this?’” he recalled, “’The Congress, why don’t they fix this?’” Wallis, rather than giving the pros and cons of various immigration proposals, decided in would be easier to slime his opponents as racist in a public school setting.

“‘Well, they say they’re afraid,’” Wallis told the classroom. “And I looked at this class, this fifth grade public school class, and I saw Latinos, African-Americans, Asians-Americans, Native Americas, Samoans, Maltese, Australians, and I looked at them and I said, ‘They’re afraid of you!’”

Pat Buchanan Book Busts 'Myth' Nixon Was Racist, Had Vietnam 'Secret Plan

Patrick J. Buchanan, setting out to correct the “myths” of his former presidential boss, this week is unleashing a memo-filled memoir that debunks several charges against Richard Nixon, including the most scurrilous: the so-called GOP White House “southern strategy” was racist.

In The Greatest Comeback: How Richard Nixon Rose from Defeat to Create the New Majority, Buchanan provides multiple examples of the former president’s “emotional empathy” with African-Americans and reminds readers that Democrats had a strong racist strain 50 years ago, as evidenced by the 1968 and 1972 presidential campaigns of segregationist Alabama Gov. George Wallace.

“Just about every Klan member between 1865 and 1965 is a Democrat, and we’re charged with all this stuff?” he said mockingly in an interview.

Hired in 1966 as one Nixon’s original and closest aides, Buchanan said, “I know exactly what was done, what happened, where we were, what we said.”

The southern strategy started when he and Nixon wrote a column for the Washington Post on May 8, 1966, that criticized a century of Democratic “racist oratory” in the South and recommended that the GOP “adhere to the principles” of Abraham Lincoln.
