Hilarious: Here’s Who Trump Says Is the ‘Only Real Winner’ in Rashida Tlaib’s Israel Setup

Katie covered early Friday the fact that anti-semitic Democrat Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib’s dishonest PR stunt regarding her Israel trip, or as Rep. Tlaib would say ‘Palestine,’ was a complete set up from the beginning designed to make Israel look bad. “Yesterday after the Israeli government denied Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and Tlaib from entering the country due to their advocacy for the BDS movement, Tlaib was offered a humanitarian exception to visit her grandmother,” Katie wrote. It was revealed that Rep. Tlaib actually asked permission from the Israel government to visit her relatives and promised she would not speak about the BDS issues. But, after being granted permission, she refused to go because she claimed Israel was still somehow oppressing her with their restrictions. . .

“Omar and Tlaib weren’t denied entry to Israel because they are Muslim, they were denied entry because they are tied to terrorism, actively support the BDS movement and do not believe the country has the right to exist. It’s not complicated. It is simple. They won’t be visiting Israel for these reasons, but, they already knew that.”

Friday evening, it seems President Donald J. Trump would agree with Katie’s analysis.

Tlaib: BDS Movement Against Israel Like American Boycott of Nazi Germany

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.) likened the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement to the American boycott of Nazi Germany during a floor speech on Tuesday.

Tlaib, a Palestinian-American and a supporter of BDS, spoke on the floor about her opposition to a House resolution affirming opposition to the movement. It is likely to pass on a bipartisan basis.

Tlaib said she could not stand by as the “daughter of Palestinian immigrants” and watch an attack on the right to “boycott the racist policies of the government and state of Israel.”

“The right to boycott is deeply rooted in the fabric of our country,” she said. “What was the Boston Tea Party but a boycott? Where would we be now without the boycott led by the civil rights activists in the 1950s and 60s like the Montgomery bus boycott and the United Farm Workers Grape boycott?” . . .

“Americans boycotted Nazi Germany in response to dehumanization, imprisonment, and genocide of Jewish people,” she said. “In the 1980s, many of us in this very body boycotted South African goods in the fight against apartheid. Our right to free speech is being threatened with this resolution. It sets a dangerous precedent because it attempts to delegitimize a certain people’s political speech and to send a message that our government can and will take action against speech it doesn’t like.” (Read more from “Tlaib: BDS Movement Against Israel Like American Boycott of Nazi Germany” HERE)

Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar Suggested Deporting Opponents in Old Tweets

Old tweets from far-left Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) resurfaced on Tuesday that appears to show them suggesting that their political opponents should be deported, which comes on the heels of the media portraying them as victims of President Donald Trump’s attacks on them.

In a tweet unearthed by former Democratic New York State Assemblyman Dov Hikind, Tlaib tweeted the following about Trump in 2015: “Deport this a–hole!” . . .

Another tweet unearthed by Hikind, this time from Omar, shows the far-left congresswoman suggesting to an opponent that they should be deported. The context for the tweet is not clear as it was a response to another person’s tweet that does not appear to be available anymore.

Omar has called Trump racist in recent days over a series of tweets in which Trump said that the far-left congresswomen — if they are going to bash the U.S. — should go back to their countries that have a lot of problems and then come back to the U.S. and show America how to be perfect.

Radical Proposal: Rashida Tlaib Calls for $20-An-Hour Minimum Wage

Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., called for a federal minimum wage of $20 per hour at an event in Detroit on Sunday night, prompting mockery from conservatives and threatening to force mainline Democrats in the 2020 presidential race to address the issue in upcoming debates.

Tlaib’s comment came during remarks to the Restaurant Opportunities Center of Michigan and the labor rights group One Fair Wage, and were recorded by the conservative political action committee America Rising. The Democrat-controlled House of Representatives passed a $15 federal minimum wage bill last week, but it has little chance of passing the GOP-controlled Senate. . .

“Think about that for one minute. People cannot live on those kind of wages, and I can’t allow people to be living off tips, you know, relying on tips for wages. It’s just not enough to support our families. … By the way, when we started it, it should have been $15,” she said at the event, titled “Server for an Hour.”

“Now I think it should be $20 — make sure America Rising hears that,” she continued, to applause. “It should be $20 an hour — $18 to $20 an hour at this point. … They say all of this is going to raise the cost, but I can tell you, milk has gone up, eggs have gone up, everything has gone up. The cost of a lot of things that we need has gone up already.”

In a 231-199 vote along party lines on Thursday, the House passed legislation that would increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour, more than double the current rate of $7.25. In an even more drastic increase, the bill calls for having the same minimum wage for tipped workers, raising it from $2.13 an hour. Resurfaced Video Shows Rashida Tlaib Exploding At Trump Speech. Here’s How Trump Responded.

A video from 2016 of then-private citizen Rashida Tlaib exploding at an economic speech of then-candidate Donald Trump resurfaced over the weekend and led to widespread mockery of the far-left Democratic lawmaker.

The incident happened on August 8, 2016, as Trump outlined his economic policy in a speech at the Detroit Economic Club.

Video of the incident spread like wildfire over the weekend on Twitter, with many prominent accounts commenting on it publicly and mocking her for her public meltdown. . .

Donald Trump Jr. weighed in on the video, writing on Twitter: “Crooked called us ‘Deplorables.’ Tlaib calls us ‘Crazy.’ In reality we just love our country, want every American—no matter their race, religion or socioeconomic status—to have a safe & prosperous life & expect our leaders to put America First. It’s simple.”

Tlaib Had a Sudden Awakening and Now Understands What Border Patrol Agents Have Said for Years

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) on Wednesday spoke with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer about the Democratic caucus’ trip to the southern border, where they toured multiple facilities in Texas. What’s interesting though, is Tlaib said exactly what Border Patrol agents have been saying for years.

“I can tell you that the couple of agents that have taken me aside were imploring me to please, report back what’s happening here because they don’t want any part of it anymore,” Tlaib explained. “And they do actually feel like it’s making us less safe because they’re not at the border. You know, in their eyes, they’re not social workers. They’re not supposed to be watching over 4-year-olds, you know, some nine and 10 year olds. These are not agents that are equipped to taking care of them and throwing money at it is not going to fix it.”

She then used the opportunity to hammer on the Trump administration for not “fixing” the problem. . .

For years Border Patrol agents have repeatedly asked for additional resources. We saw it happen in 2014, when a surge of illegal aliens flocked to our southern border. Detainees were being bused from Texas to other parts of the country for processing because the system was so overwhelmed. Agents were physically pulled from the southern border to process detainees, leaving our nation wide open to anyone and everyone wanting in. But, as always, nothing changed. The Obama administration rode out the public relation crisis, which essentially put a band aid on a major wound. WATCH: Tlaib Says Her Constituents Want to See ‘Direct Payment’ as Reparations

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) said her constituents want to see reparations for descendants of slaves in the form of “direct payment.”

Tlaib hopes the House has a “serious conversation” about voting on H.R. 40, the Commission to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African-Americans Act, after the reparations hearing that took place last week in the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties.

“This is something that is very rooted in trying to combat what’s happened and continues to happen with black Americans not being actually able to get a level playing — on the same level after slavery,” Tlaib, who represents Michigan’s 13th congressional district, said on Capitol Hill.

“I support any opportunity for restorative justice and that can come up all above in some instances, but I think there’s a serious conversation happening in committee and I hope it continues to happen regarding reparations. But I guess it should be determined by all of us and I can tell you at home it is direct payment that people want to see but also increased access to higher education, to real equitable funding in education systems, right now, across the country,” she added. Soros-Backed Jewish Group Plays Defense for Tlaib, Omar

When freshmen Democratic representatives Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib find themselves in yet another controversy involving anti-Semitism and/or support for Islamic extremism and/or support for the annihilation of Israel, what has become their favorite Jewish group springs to action to defend them against any of the aforementioned accusations, or any other issues, whatever they may be.

Over the weeked, Rep. Tlaib, D-Mich., who has already gotten into a heap of controversy over previous anti-Semitic remarks, set off a media firestorm when she falsely claimed that her Palestinian ancestors helped create a “safe haven” for Jews fleeing Nazi persecution.

“There’s always kind of a calming feeling when I think of the tragedy of the Holocaust, that it was my ancestors — Palestinians — who lost their land and some lost their lives, their livelihood, their human dignity, their existence, in many ways, has been wiped out … in the name of trying to create a safe haven for Jews, post-Holocaust,” Tlaib said on a Yahoo! podcast. “And I love the fact that it was my ancestors that provided that in many ways.”

Tlaib misled listeners about the role of her ancestors before and during World War II. In fact, her ancestors sided with the Nazis during World War II and welcomed the Holocaust. Additionally, as Liel Leibovitz explains in Tablet, her ancestors were openly hostile to the idea of Jews living alongside them.

“There were 433 more Holocaust survivors killed by Palestinians and Jordanians violently opposing the creation of a safe haven for Jews in what had historically and spiritually been their homeland,” Leibovitz wrote at Tablet in response to Tlaib’s comments. “To attempt and rewrite their well-documented experiences is to victimize them yet again, an unforgivable and deeply anti-Semitic act.”

In response, both Tlaib and her colleague Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., invoked Bend the Arc: Jewish Action on social media as supposed evidence that Tlaib did not do anything anti-Semitic or improper. Tlaib and Omar retweeted the following tweets from the group, following Rep. Tlaib’s controversial remarks:

Since the pair’s congressional inauguration, Bend the Arc: Jewish Action has been the go-to Jewish organization for the two representatives and their defenders, such as the anti-Semitic Women’s March leader Linda Sarsour.

At first glance, Bend the Arc seems to be a run-of-the-mill liberal Jewish coalition that claims to work on behalf of “progressive American Jews to change policy and build a more just and equal nation.” The group’s website is rife with countless mentions of its Jewishness, with the word “Jew” or “Jewish” written 12 times on its front page. It describes itself as the “Jewish Resistance” to the Trump administration.

But these days, the outfit appears to have dedicated its entire purpose to playing defense for Reps. Omar and Tlaib. A review of the organization’s social media pages shows Bend the Arc has wholly devoted itself to the two extremist congresswoman. The outfit’s entire Twitter feed is dedicated to defending Omar and Tlaib and attempting to pivot the conversation toward attacking President Trump.

Since Monday, Bend the Arc has retweeted or tweeted posts supporting Rep. Tlaib 15 times and Rep. Omar five times.

Here’s a small sample of the themes the group forwards in posts defending the controversial representatives.

Both Rep. Omar and Rep. Tlaib have tokenized this one Jewish group to defend themselves against allegations that they are anti-Semitic. The two have retweeted or tweeted out information about the Jewish group four times since the beginning of May.

Bend the Arc: Jewish Action was created by Alexander Soros (who is currently the group’s chairman of the board), the son of infamous billionaire investor George Soros, an anti-Israel extremist who has largely renounced his Jewish identity. The current government of Israel has described Soros as a man “who continuously undermines Israel’s democratically elected governments.” Soros funds have been used to finance the BDS (Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions) movement that seeks Israel’s total destruction.

When Bend the Arc: Jewish Action was founded in 2015, the Soros-led initiative endorsed former Louis Farrakhan acolyte Keith Ellison as part of its first round of endorsements. Alex Soros then posted a note on Instagram declaring Ellison as “aligned with the values of the majority of Jewish voters as any politician I know.”

“It will focus on issues such as income inequality, marriage equality, social justice and immigration reform,” Politico reported, describing the aims of the newly founded, self-described Jewish movement, adding that it would not discuss foreign policy, a clear indication that it will not take a position on the lone Jewish nation-state of Israel. Dems Are Defending Tlaib’s Psycho Holocaust Comments – Here’s Who They’re Blaming

Rep. Rashida Tlabi (D-MI) came under fire for making rather anti-Semitic comments about how the Holocaust gave her a “calming feeling.” Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Republican Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) condemned her comments and called on Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) to do the same. . .

Naturally, Tlaib’s team attempted to spin what she said. Instead of focusing on what she did say, Tlaib is making it sound as though Republicans are doing everything in their power to attack her. Apparently calling out her anti-Semitism is now “policing” her words and using them “to ignite vile attacks” on her.

Naturally, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) came to Tlaib’s defense. And, she spun the criticisms as “Islamophobia.”

What’s surprising though, is that Tlaib’s biggest supporter was none other than 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.

Rep. Tlaib’s Horrifying Remarks About Holocaust: I Get a ‘Calming Feeling’

Just when we think that Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) couldn’t get any more anti-Semitic, she proves us wrong. Her latest remark is rather cringeworthy too. During an interview with Yahoo News’ podcast “Skullduggery,” she explained her take on the Holocaust.

“There’s always kind of a calming feeling, I tell folks, when I think of the Holocaust, and the tragedy of the Holocaust, and the fact that it was my ancestors — Palestinians — who lost their land and some lost their lives, their livelihood, their human dignity, their existence in many ways, have been wiped out, and some people’s passports,” Tlaib said.

“And, just all of it was in the name of trying to create a safe haven for Jews, post-the Holocaust, post-the tragedy and the horrific persecution of Jews across the world at that time. And, I love the fact that it was my ancestors that provided that, right, in many ways, but they did it in a way that took their human dignity away and it was forced on them.”

Republican leaders were quick to slam Tlaib’s comments, and rightfully so.

“There is no justification for the twisted and disgusting comments made by Rashida Tlaib just days after the annual Day of Holocaust Remembrance. More than six million Jews were murdered during the Holocaust; there is nothing ‘calming’ about that fact,” House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) said in a statement. “Unfortunately, this is far from the first display of heinous anti-Semitic comments coming from Democrat House members this year, and it’s clear this is now the norm for their caucus. It’s long past time for Speaker Pelosi to take swift action and make it clear that these vile comments have no place in Congress.” (Read more from “Rep. Tlaib’s Horrifying Remarks About Holocaust: I Get a ‘Warm Feeling'” HERE)
