‘Shot’ From the Secretary: RFK Jr. Issues 2 Orders to Rein In HHS

There’s no doubt that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has had in a mind a thorough rebuild of the American health care system for his tenure as secretary of Health and Human Services.

He’s long objected to some parts of America’s vaccination regime, and has been a harsh critic of the fact there are so many chronic diseases in children.

He just started on his agenda, with two orders.

The Daily Mail reports he has pulled a campaign that was intended to promote flu shots to Americans, and he has postponed a meeting of a team of vaccine advisers.

The first order concerned the CDC’s “Wild to Mild” flu shot promotions, the report said. They “juxtaposed” a lion next to a kitten in a claim that the shot “tamed” the virus. (Read more from “‘Shot’ From the Secretary: RFK Jr. Issues 2 Orders to Rein In HHS” HERE)

Senate Confirms Robert F. Kennedy Jr. To Lead New Era in Restoring American Health

By Breitbart. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is on his way to Make America Healthy Again.

The United States Senate confirmed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Thursday morning to lead the Department of Health and Human Services by a vote of 52 to 48.

Kennedy’s confirmation is a watershed moment in the federal government’s role in the health of the American people, likely the most significant development since the passage of the Affordable Care Act in 2010.

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), the face of waning Senate Republican recalcitrance to Trump, was the lone Republican voting against his nomination, joining 47 Democrats. He also opposed Trump’s now-confirmed choices to lead the Pentagon and Director of National Intelligence, Pete Hegseth and Tulsi Gabbard, respectively.

“Mr. Kennedy failed to prove he is the best possible person to lead America’s largest health agency,” McConnell said to cap a typical longwinded statement. “As he takes office, I sincerely hope Mr. Kennedy will choose not to sow further doubt and division but to restore trust in our public health institutions. Sleep Specialist Backing RFK Jr.’s MAHA Movement Pushes to Change School Start Times in America

By Fox News. A sleep expert who is backing Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement is pushing for something he says people aren’t talking about enough: sleep.

Jeffrey Rose, a New York-based clinical hypnotist and sleep specialist, is a friend and longtime supporter of Kennedy, who was confirmed by the Senate on Thursday as Health and Human Services (HHS) secretary in President Donald Trump’s cabinet.

“[The MAHA] movement means a lot to me because I’m preaching health all the time,” said Rose in an interview with Fox News Digital.

Rose said there is chronic sleep deprivation across the country, but more specifically in teenage students.

“These high school kids are not able to be sharp and focused and to learn, it doesn’t matter how good the schools are or the teachers or the reputation. Kids are exhausted in school.” (Read more from “Sleep Specialist Backing RFK Jr.’s MAHA Movement Pushes to Change School Start Times in America” HERE)

Senate Committees Waging War On RFK Jr Are Knee Deep In Big Pharma, Food Industry Cash

Contentious hearings to consider Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to lead the Department of Health and Human Services this week have shined a spotlight on some of Washington’s most powerful lobbies.

Senators aiming critical questions at Kennedy this week found their contributions from the health care industry and their personal investments in the pharmaceutical industry and companies that make highly processed food being spotlighted on X to millions of views. The dynamic has pitted Kennedy’s legion of online supporters against senators critical of Kennedy’s skepticism of vaccines.

At a Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee hearing Thursday, several senators directly addressed the popular support of the “Make America Healthy Again” movement.

Senate HELP Committee Chair Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, a Republican, was highly critical of Kennedy’s prior statements about the measles vaccine and Hepatitis B vaccine, but conceded that his phone “blows up” with his supporters.

As the hearing concluded Thursday, Cassidy said that he was struggling with whether to vote to confirm Kennedy.

Leftist Smear Group Attacking RFK Jr. Led by ‘Queer Trans Activist,’ Funded by Pornhub’s Parent Company

A shadowy, leftist group has targeted Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s nomination to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.

Fight For The Future, a tech advocacy group with leftist leadership, launched a campaign on Jan. 28 to sink the confirmation of Kennedy, whom it smeared as a “bigoted conspiracy theorist” — despite the group’s adherence to wild theories that men can be women, and that President Donald Trump is a “wannabe fascist.” The organization published a petition to pressure senators to keep Kennedy out of office, and a scorecard tracking how lawmakers plan to vote on the nomination.

Kennedy has been a long-time advocate of reforming public health since the 1990s, and he has become the figurehead of the Make America Healthy Again movement. But Fight For The Future claims he will “destroy[] healthcare,” even though America currently spends the most money on healthcare compared to other countries and has a vastly unhealthy population to show for it. Recent polling data also shows the MAHA movement is popular among Americans.

Fight For The Future opposed the “Kids Online Safety Act,” which would have required online platforms to take “reasonable measures” to protect minors from “sexual exploitation and abuse.” Aylo — the parent company of PornHub which admitted to profiting from sex trafficking — gave “$50,000 or more” to the Fight For The Future, according to the group’s website.

DuckDuckGo and Yelp are also listed as Fight For the Future “supporters” who have donated “$50,000 or more.” Pinterest gave “$25,000 or more,” and Proton — the parent company of encrypted email service Proton Mail — gave “$10,000 or more.” (Read more from “Leftist Smear Group Attacking RFK Jr. Led by ‘Queer Trans Activist,’ Funded by Pornhub’s Parent Company” HERE)

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Confirmation Hearing for HHS Secretary (VIDEO)

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. testifies before the Senate Finance Committee in a confirmation hearing to become Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) on Wednesday, January 29.

Senate Democrats Unexpectedly Open to Confirming RFK Jr.

In a surprising turn of events, Senate Democrats have signaled an unexpected openness to confirming Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for a key position in the incoming Trump Administration despite his controversial stance on vaccines and other issues the left is against. Known for his outspoken views and challenges to the establishment, RFK Jr. has recently been a divisive figure within his own party. However, some Democrats now reconsidering their opposition to their willingness to confirm Kennedy, significantly shifting the Democratic Party’s approach to fringe candidates.

As reported by The Hill, Democrats are signaling their cooperation to allow Kennedy to become the next secretary of Health and Human Services under the new Trump Administration. The outlet noted that prominent left-wing voices such as Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) are at least considering voting for Kennedy. They cite shared concerns about the growing influence of corporate interests in food production and a desire to promote a country with fewer chemicals in its products. Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) is also among the Democrats that would back Kennedy.

“I think Bernie will give him a fair review,” a source close to the senator said. “I definitely think his Senate office will use the opportunity to point out the shortcomings of the industrial food system, supply chains, etc. I think they’ve been doing a little of that already.”

Lawmakers are notoriously tight-lipped about their votes ahead of many Cabinet fights. The optics of backing any nominee by Trump put most Democrats in a tricky position. And Kennedy in particular makes things more complicated. Democrats spent a good portion of the election last year trying to avoid the Independent candidate after he changed parties. Those who didn’t ignore him outright tried to stop him from gaining popularity with voters, concerned that any type of third-party support could spell trouble for them in the general election.

RFK Jr. Senate Hearings May Further Erode Trust in the Corporate Media

Corporate media trust is at an all-time low, and the confirmation hearings for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to be Secretary of Health and Human Services could deal another blow as Kennedy is presented with an opportunity to speak openly without being filtered through a mainstream media lens.

President-elect Donald Trump tapped RFK Jr., the son of former United States Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy and nephew of former President John F. Kennedy, to lead the HHS after Kennedy bowed out of a moderately successful independent presidential bid to endorse Trump.

Kennedy’s nomination drew intense backlash from the medical establishment and corporate media. He has been labeled a conspiracy theorist by his critics and much of the opposition to him has centered on past statements, particularly about vaccines and the environment.

A group of 77 Nobel Laureates wrote a scathing Dec. 9 letter urging the Senate not to confirm Kennedy.

“We strongly urge you to vote against the confirmation of his appointment as Secretary of the DHHS,” the letter read, citing Kennedy’s past stances on vaccines, community water fluoridation, a lack of public health credentials and labeled him a “belligerent critic” of some of the agencies that would fall under his purview as HHS Secretary, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Americans Overwhelmingly Support MAHA, RFK’s Plans To Reform The Food Industry

The new movement to “Make America Healthy Again” is incredibly popular.

According to a recent YouGov poll released last week, Americans were three times as likely to hold a favorable opinion of the MAHA movement than they were to hold an either “very” or “somewhat unfavorable” perspective. Branding aside, Americans overwhelmingly favor the major pillars of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s proposals to reform the food industry as secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) even as opinions of Kennedy himself were profoundly polarized.

Majorities of both Republicans and Democrats were united in support of “requiring nutrition education in federally funded medical schools, banning certain food additives, funding research into alternative and holistic approaches to health, increasing restrictions on the use of pesticides in agriculture, and banning processed foods from public school lunches,” according to the poll.

Out of the 1,064 adults surveyed online between Nov. 19-20, respondents were most united on rules to prioritize nutritional education in medical schools, with nearly 8 in 10 who said they supported the proposal. However, as outlined in my new book Fat And Unhappy: How “Body Positivity” Is Killing Us (and How to Save Yourself), U.S. medical programs are already failing to meet the minimum standards for nutrition classes set by the National Academy of Sciences. Just 27 percent of medical schools met the academy’s recommendation of a 25-hour minimum embedded in curriculums, according to a 2010 survey.

Exactly what students are taught about nutrition in medical school meanwhile remains controversial as the public health establishment still promotes the low-fat diet as conventional wisdom. Kennedy, on the other hand, has rightfully condemned the low-fat dogma promoted by the food industry, though the YouGov survey did not go into details about how the potential new HHS secretary might reform nutrition curriculums in higher education. Florida Surgeon General Advises Against Adding Fluoride to Water Supply: It ‘Must Stop’

Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo is moving ahead of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. — posed to be the next Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary — and calling for Florida communities to cease adding fluoride to the water supply.

Ladapo is among the latest to advise against fluoride in the water supply, asserting that there are other ways Floridians can strengthen their teeth without consuming the “neurotoxin.”

A November guidance from the Florida Department of Health cites several studies highlighting possible adverse effects of fluoride exposure in “vulnerable populations,” associating it with neuropsychiatric conditions, particularly among children. The guidance lists many of the concerns frequently highlighted by Kennedy.

“Due to the neuropsychiatric risk associated with fluoride exposure, particularly in pregnant women and children, and the wide availability of alternative sources of fluoride for dental health, the State Surgeon General recommends against community water fluoridation,” the guidance states[.] (Read more from “Florida Surgeon General Advises Against Adding Fluoride to Water Supply: It ‘Must Stop’” HERE)

RFK Jr: ‘I Give Thanks to God’ for the Success of the ‘MAHA Movement’

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., President-elect Donald Trump’s pick to serve as secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), gave “thanks to God” for his family and the success of the “MAHA movement” on Thanksgiving.

In a holiday Instagram post showing his family, Kennedy wrote, “I give thanks to God for all the extraordinary gifts of a year guided unerringly by Providence: my wife Cheryl, my children including Amaryllis without whom my campaign would have faltered”:

Amaryllis Fox Kennedy, who married Bobby Kennedy III in 2018, served as her father-in-law’s campaign director while he was still running for president, and remains a “proud steward of RFK’s movement to Make America Healthy Again.”

“I’m grateful for the campaign staff who each coalesced from their own spiritual journeys, to the generous donors, and to the thousands of volunteers and supporters who have built the MAHA movement,” the HHS nominee continued in his caption.
