Hypocrites: FBI Admits It Ignores Leftist Violence

. . .In a congressional hearing last week titled “Confronting Violent White Supremacy (Part VI): Examining the Biden Administration’s Counterterrorism Strategy,” FBI Assistant Director of Counterterrorism Timothy Langan said that the Bureau doesn’t consider Antifa to be an “organization,” and as such does not have specific information on the group’s activities.

In response to a question about how much violence or domestic terrorism Antifa committed in recent years from Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC), Langan had nothing to offer.

“Under the anti-government category or subcategory of domestic terrorism — would that include groups like Antifa or Black Lives Matter, folks who commit violence or acts of domestic terrorism?” Mace asked. . .

Mace continued, asking “how many acts of violence or domestic terrorism has Antifa committed over the last two years?”

Again, Langan has nothing to offer. “Since we don’t categorize Antifa, nor do we calculate or collate information regarding Antifa, that movement, we don’t have that,” said the senior FBI counterterrorism official. “But we can provide you information on anarchist threats and cases in general.” (Read more from “Hypocrites: FBI Admits It Ignores Leftist Violence” HERE)

Entire Portland Police Rapid Response Team Resigns

Members of a specialized Portland, Oregon, police unit that deals with crowd control have resigned from the assignment en masse a day after a fellow officer was indicted on an assault charge stemming from alleged illegal use of force during a protest last year.

The Portland Police Bureau’s Rapid Response Team, which is primarily responsible for providing public safety at crowd events, consisted of approximately 50 officers, all of whom resigned Wednesday, the bureau announced. The assignment is voluntary and the officers will remain on the force and continue their regular assignments, the bureau said.

The mass resignation comes a day after a grand jury indicted Portland Police Bureau Officer Corey Budworth on one count of fourth-degree assault, a misdemeanor, for what prosecutors allege was an “excessive and unlawful use of force” during a protest in August 2020.

Budworth, who at the time was on the bureau’s Rapid Response Team, is accused of striking a woman in the head with a baton during an Aug. 18, 2020, demonstration outside the Multnomah Building. The indictment marks the first time a Portland police officer has faced prosecution for striking or firing at someone during a protest, according to the Oregonian. Radical Leftists Build Warzone-Style Barriers to Keep Cops Out (VIDEO)

Radical leftists erected warzone-syle barricades to block Portland, Oregon, police from enforcing an eviction order on the occupants of what is known as “the Red House on Mississippi.” The barricade is at least three blocks wide and in some places consists of a six-layer fence and barricade.

Earlier this week, protesters repelled Portland police officers to came out to assist the local sheriff’s office in serving a legal eviction order on a foreclosed house. As officers arrived, protesters fought back violently and repelled the officers, Breitbart News reported.

Portland’s Democrat Mayor Ted Wheeler, recently re-elected in a runoff election, promised to restore order and pledged, “There will be no autonomous zone in Portland.”

Two days later the leftists continued to illegally occupy the newly established autonomous zone and expanded it to its now three-block diameter. Portland Police Bureau Chief Chuck Lovell said his department was aware of a “stockpile of weapons” and the “presence of firearms.” . . .

Despite the threats from the mayor and police chief, leftists continued reinforcing the autonomous zone and erected multi-layer border walls to slow down any police action.

Protesters Ready To Lash Out No Matter the Presidential Result

. . .Anti-Trump organizations have sent alerts to their followers over the past few days promoting massive protests regardless of who wins or loses the White House.

Cities and urban businesses around the country are bracing themselves for what is expected to be a raucous night on Tuesday, fearing that Trump wins a second term. If that’s the case, anti-Trump activist groups are expected to lash out violently against law enforcement and destroy private property, similar to Inauguration Day in 2017.

The New York City Police Department circulated a memo warning, “This November 3rd will be the one of the most highly contested presidential elections in the modern era. There is also a strong likelihood that the winner of the presidential election may not be decided for several weeks.” The memo added, “Accordingly, we should anticipate and prepare for protests growing in size, frequency, and intensity leading up to the election and likely into the year 2021.” . . .

Protesters said that if Trump loses, their focus will be on pressuring him to depart the White House when his term ends on Jan. 20, 2021. . .

Protest organizations, including ShutDownDC and Refuse Fascism, have been training their supporters for several weeks in preparation for election night, and for the likely days or weeks thereafter, they will be active in the streets. By Townhall. Rioters in Portland took to the streets once again on Sunday night, but instead of going after police officers, they targeted businesses and public statues of President Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt as part of a “Day of Rage.”

According to videos posted to Twitter, rioters used ropes and chains to tear down the statues of Lincoln and Roosevelt, cheering as they fell.

Trump Blasts Antifa After Portland Rioters Topple Lincoln, Roosevelt Statues

By New York Post. President Trump called on federal law enforcement to target the “Radical Left” and Antifa after rioters in Portland on Sunday evening toppled statues of Presidents Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt during “day of rage” protests over the Christopher Columbus holiday.

“The FBI and Law Enforcement must focus their energy on ANTIFA and the Radical Left, those who have spent the summer trying to burn down poorly run Democrat Cities throughout the USA!,” the president wrote in a string of tweets Monday after the “indigenous peoples day of rage,” organized by a faction of Antifa.

“Taking advantage of fools. Law & Order! Portland, call in the Feds!,” Trump said in another posting.

The president, who has made law and order and criticism of the national riots following the killing of George Floyd a major part of his re-election campaign, also linked former Vice President Joe Biden to Antifa. The Corporate Media’s Shameful Ignoring of Riots and Looting; WATCH: How Two Young Reporters Covered The Riots Better Than The Corporate Press

By The Daily Signal. The downtowns of numerous American cities have been burned up. Government buildings have been attacked. Private businesses have been destroyed. And people have even been killed. This has been happening off and on now for many months. And—perhaps most amazing and horrifying of all—the news media has decided to largely ignore it.

Detailed coverage would undercut the “mostly peaceful” narrative that many want to cling to. When things get really out of control, the corporate media is forced to report on them in summary fashion, but they have largely abandoned the day-to-day, on-the-ground reporting they would do in virtually any other circumstance. Reporting of that sort is coming from a relatively small number of independent publishers, none more than my own publication, the Daily Caller.

The Daily Caller has sent reporters to every hot spot in America, from Washington, D.C., to Seattle, to Portland, Oregon, and Kenosha, Wisconsin. The fact that this medium-sized news outlet has more gruesome footage of what’s really going on in our streets than huge corporate media outlets should scare the hell out of you.

The corporate media’s choice to largely ignore this coverage is, in essence, a decision to distort reality. In the face of this vacuum, we have been filling the void.

From Kenosha to Portland: How Two Young Reporters Covered the Riots Better Than the Corporate Press

By The Federalist. On this episode of The Federalist Radio Hour, Daily Caller reporters Shelby Talcott and Richie McGinniss reflect on their recent riot coverage with The Federalist Senior Editor Christopher Bedford.

In Kenosha, McGinniss stood just feet away from a man who was shot and killed, tending to his wounds in the immediate aftermath. Talcott was recently arrested in Louisville while covering the riots that broke out after news broke of the grand jury’s decision in the Breonna Taylor case. . .

Despite the violence that both Talcott and McGinniss have covered and seen, McGinniss said that it’s important to remember the human aspect of the situations.

Police Rip Into Portland Mayor for Banning Them Using Tear Gas to Stop Life-Threatening Riots (VIDEO)

The Portland Police Bureau criticized Mayor Ted Wheeler (D), who serves as the city’s police commissioner, after he announced officers will no longer be able to use tear gas to stop the nightly riots that have been occurring for over 100 days.

“Effective immediately and until further notice, I’m directing the Portland Police Bureau to end the use of CS gas for crowd control…During the last 100 days Portland, Multnomah County, and State Police have all riled CS gas where there’s a threat to life safety. We need something different and we need it now,” Wheeler said.

Wheeler said he expects the police to arrest those who are participating in criminal acts and the district attorney to prosecute those who are arrested. . .

In a statement released after Wheeler’s announcement, the Portland Police Bureau said since late May, “Portland Police and partner agencies have been subjected to repeated violence by a group of motivated and well-organized individuals. These individuals have stated they intend to kill or injure officers and destroy occupied buildings and dwellings. Threats to commit acts of violence have been scrawled on police facilities and other property. Crowds have chanted slogans about burning down buildings on their way to attempt to do that.” . . .

“Banning the lawful use of CS will make it very difficult to address this kind of violence without resorting to much higher levels of physical force, with a correspondingly elevated risk of serious injury to members of the public and officers,” the PPB continued. “CS, while effective, is a significantly lower level of force than impact weapons, which would very likely be necessary to disperse riotous groups with its prohibition. A police chief of a suburban village in Illinois was fired after he posted a meme about looters that many found to be controversial.

Thomas Scully worked as the Orland Hills police chief for 15 years but he was fired on Wednesday over the Facebook post. . .

The meme was a commentary on the recent rioting and looting that resulted from protests over numerous incidents where black people were killed while in police custody or as a result of the actions of police officers.

It read, “Looting. When free housing, free food, free education, and free phones just aren’t enough.”

Dem Sheriff Leaves Party: ‘Unbelievable’ That Democratic Leadership Condones Rioting

Democratic leadership condoning riots is “unbelievable,” said Sheriff Dave Wedding of Vanderburgh County, Ind., Wednesday.

“What I’ve witnessed across the United States is shocking,” Wedding told “Fox & Friends,” after leaving the Democratic Party.

“As a law enforcement leader, I can’t imagine 101 days of rioting, and it is condoned by the Democratic leadership. It’s unbelievable that they can do that to a law enforcement professional. As a sheriff, I could not imagine putting my deputies on the front lines of these riots night after night with no relief in sight,” Wedding said. . .

Man Suspected of Gunning Down Trump Supporter in Portland Is Killed When Marshals Try to Arrest Him

By PJ Media. The man who appears to have admitted to shooting and killing a supporter of Donald Trump in Portland on Saturday was killed Thursday night as U.S. Marshals moved in to arrest him. . .

His connections with antifa were well known. He acted as antifa “security” at several protests and was apparently working in that capacity when he took it upon himself to “execute” Danielson, as the Trump supporter’s friend, an eyewitness, put it.

In an interview published by Vice News, Reinoehl all but admitted to carrying out the shooting. He claims that his friend, a person “of color,” was being threatened by the victim of the shooting, Aaron “Jay” Danielson, in downtown Portland.

The suspect in the shooting was known to bring his kids with him to riots and demonstrations. He was arrested multiple times, recently for bringing a loaded gun to a riot. He was let go on his own recognizance by Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt and his underlings who have begun a new, liberal policy of releasing antifa and Black Lives Matter, Inc™ rioters, instead of prosecuting many of them. Report: Suspect in Fatal Shooting of Conservative Activist Killed by Police

By Breitbart. The man being investigated in the shooting death of a member of the conservative group Patriot Prayer was killed Thursday night by police near Seattle, according to a report from the New York Times.

Michael Forest Reinoehl was encountered by a fugitive apprehension task force in Lacey, Washington, a city to the southwest of Seattle.

According to the New York Times, “An arrest warrant had been issued by the Portland police earlier Thursday, on the same day that Vice News published an interview with Mr. Reinoehl in which he appeared to admit to the shooting, saying, ‘I had no choice.’”

In an odd twist, President Trump had urged law enforcement to apprehend Reinoehl only moments before his fatal encounter with police.
