WATCH: “Kenosha Kid” Kyle Rittenhouse’s Lawyer Speaks Out, Reveals Details of Shooting

“Kenosha Kid” Kyle Rittenhouse’s lawyer joined Tucker Carlson on Fox News this week to explain his self-defense argument in the deadly protest shooting last week. Rittenhouse is charged as an adult with two counts of first-degree homicide, said his attorney John Pierce. He also shot a third person who was assaulting him with a handgun.

“The firearm never crossed state lines,” Pierce said, in reference to one of the main issues in the case. “That is a legal firearm in the state of Wisconsin. Wisconsin is an open carry state. That charge is incorrect as a matter of state law.”

“He was in imminent danger of serious bodily harm or death. This is 100% self-defense, Tucker — Kyle is a good kid.”

“They began screaming that Kyle needed to be killed and they were going to kill him. They started relentlessly hunting him as prey as he ran down the street attempting to retreat,” he explained. “As he ran out of room to retreat, shots were fired from behind him.” (Read more from “WATCH: “Kenosha Kid” Kyle Rittenhouse’s Lawyer Speaks Out, Reveals Details of Shooting” HERE)

Why Is NFL Player Drew Brees Wearing the Name of an Alleged Rapist on His Helmet?

Last Friday, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and his team broke with the pack to hold practice as nine other NFL teams canceled theirs in the wake of the police shooting of Jacob Blake. They put Blake’s name in big black letters across the front of their helmets in what Sporstcasting.com writer Stephen Sheehan called “a powerful visual signal.” . . .

If Blake were an innocent family man who just happened to twitch during a tense encounter with police, this would all seem perfectly appropriate. There’s just one problem: not only was Blake aggressively resisting arrest in the incident that’s left him paralyzed, but he also had a warrant out for his arrest due to a charge of sexual assault.

According to research by The New York Post, Blake was forbidden from being at the Kenosha home where he was shot because of an incident at the same residence on May 3, for which there was an open warrant for his arrest. Based on police records, The New York Post describes the alleged assault:

The victim, who is only identified by her initials in the paperwork, told police she was asleep in bed with one of her children when Blake came into the room around 6 a.m. and allegedly said ‘I want my sh-t,’ the record states.

She told cops Blake then used his finger to sexually assault her, sniffed it and said, ‘Smells like you’ve been with other men,’ the criminal complaint alleges.

Riot-Ravaged Small Businesses Can’t Afford to Rebuild (VIDEO)

Ever since a multiracial group of Minneapolis cops kneeled on George Floyd’s neck as he died three months ago, there have been riots in American cities every single night. At first our moral, ethical, and intellectual betters in the media just gaslighted us about it. They looked right into their cameras and told us it wasn’t happening. It’s not actual violence, y’know, the bad kind of violence. It’s “mostly peaceful protest.” . . .

But the people in that neighborhood are still there, in the ruins. Velshi and his ilk don’t care what happens to them, because it doesn’t fit liberals’ view of the world and it’s bad for their preferred political party. They don’t care what happens to people like this Minneapolis resident, after rioters destroyed her neighborhood:

. . .The destruction in Minneapolis is astonishing. It took Minneapolis authorities two months to stumble upon a charred corpse inside a burned-down pawnshop. A man named Montez Terrill Lee is currently awaiting trial for committing the arson, but the deceased is still unidentified. The national media just shrugged and moved on. They’re not demanding answers. Al Sharpton hasn’t shown up for another nationally televised funeral. Only certain lives matter. Is It Now Okay to Kill People We Find Offensive?

The use of guns is becoming a common feature of the protests and violence raging in many parts of the United States. The way in which the Wisconsin city of Kenosha has been turned into a veritable warzone suggests that some people now see destructive behaviour as a way of gaining attention or making a point.

The recent shooting dead of a man in Portland, Oregon highlights the growing trend for dehumanising people who are on the other side of the political divide. In this instance protesters celebrated the fact that a ‘Nazi’ had been killed. The man was a member of the right-wing organisation Patriot Prayer – which means social media was soon full of claims that it was only a piece of ‘fascist scum’ who got killed.

One man tweeted: ‘If you’re just hearing about a member of Patriot Prayer being killed or another being arrested in Washington you should catch up on who they are. SPLC [the Southern Poverty Law Center] has a good example. They’re not a “conservative” group. They’re at minimum alt-right/fash.’

The implication of this tweet is that this man had it coming. The SPLC, which specialises in branding groups it dislikes as racists or fascists or alt-right, was quick off the mark. It published an account of the disturbances which claimed that the members of Patriot Prayer in Portland were outside agitators who wanted to inflict their white-supremacist hate on the city. . .

The casual manner in which violent attacks on opponents are discussed in the language of ‘they had it coming’ points to an ominous development in political life. Today’s politicisation of identity is often informed by an instinct to dehumanise those who ‘offend’ us. This dehumanisation of opponents is expressed in a language that treats them as evil people with no redeeming qualities. The promiscuous use of labels like ‘fascist’ and ‘white supremacist’ is about indicating that millions of people exist on a lower moral plane than the apparently enlightened advocates of identity politics. Kyle Rittenhouse Lawyers Claim Self-Defense

Lawyers for Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old who allegedly shot three and killed two people during a riot in Kenosha, Wisconsin, this week, issued a lengthy statement Friday evening after delaying his extradition from Illinois to face trial for murder.

“Kyle did nothing wrong,” attorney John Pierce of Pierce Bainbridge wrote. “He exercised his God-given, Constitutional, common law and statutory law right to self-defense.”

Rittenhouse was charged Thursday with six criminal counts — including two counts of first-degree murder. One of the two charges carries a potential sentence of life imprisonment. . .

In the first case, a man had allegedly pursued him, thrown an object at him, and attempted to seize his weapon. In the second case, several people had allegedly chased him; one had allegedly struck him with a skateboard; and another had allegedly approached him with a firearm.

Later, Pierce wrote, Rittenhouse was “accosted by multiple rioters who recognized that he had been attempting to protect a business the mob wanted to destroy.” That, he said, led to the violent confrontations that followed. (Read more from “Kyle Rittenhouse Lawyers Claim Self-Defense” HERE)

Senator Calls for Investigation Into Funding of Violent Protests

Rep. Ken Buck, R-Colo., on Sunday called for a Department of Justice (DOJ) investigation into the funding of recent violent protests that have sprung up across the country, echoing statements made by Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., who was recently attacked while with his wife during the Republican National Convention. . .

Buck had first addressed the issue after Paul and his wife Kelley were accosted while returning from the RNC, on the way back to their hotel.

“If the Tea Party threatened a Democratic Senator and assaulted police officers like this, it would be leading CNN,” the Colorado Republican wrote on Friday. “Every conservative politician would be asked to condemn it. Where is the outrage?”

Paul commented on the issue in an opinion piece for Fox News published on Saturday.

He revealed some of the protesters were actually staying in the same hotel — and on the same floor — as he and his wife. Some were even as close as the next room. (Read more from “Senator Calls for Investigation Into Funding of Violent Protests” HERE)

CNN’S False Claim: ‘Fiery but Mostly Peaceful’ Riots in Wisconsin (VIDEO)

A CNN chyron reporting on the riots exploding in Kenosha, Wisconsin, during the early hours of Tuesday morning appeared to have gone unnoticed.

“Fiery But Mostly Peaceful Protests After Police Shooting,” the news network’s television headline blared while its reporter, Omar Jimenez, stood in front of several burning cars.

The footage features Jiminez explaining to viewers that while the city burns to the ground behind him, the so-called protesters destroying the blue-collar midwestern town were being “mostly peaceful.”

“What you’re seeing behind me is one of multiple locations that have been burning in Kenosha, Wisconsin, over the course of the night,” Jiminez said, reporting that daytime demonstrations marked a stark contrast to the riots occurring behind him after Jacob Blake’s shooting by Kenosha police on Sunday. “The common theme that ties all of this together is an expression of anger and frustration over what people feel like has become an all-too-familiar story.”

Watch What Happened When a BLM Rioter Pulled a Gun on a Reporter

Riots broke out in Kenosha, Wisconsin on Sunday following the police shooting of Jacob Blake. There have been conflicting reports about what happened on the ground. According to the Associated Press, witnesses said officers were yelling at Blake to drop a knife before they fired their service weapons.

Blaze TV’s Elijah Schaffer was sent to Kenosha to cover the riots. While interviewing various Black Lives Matter rioters, a young black man pointed a gun at Schaffer and threatened to do the same to cops.

WATCH: Riot Declared in Portland After Police Union Building Set on Fire

The police union building in Portland, Oregon, was set on fire Saturday night, leading police to declare a riot and order the area cleared. Federal authorities left the city at the end of July after weeks of violent clashes between them and protesters, and local leaders have hoped for calm after the federal agents withdrew. . .

Police said there were several protests on Saturday that were peaceful, but a small group lit a fire at the Portland Police Association (PPA) building. According to The Oregonian, it’s the second time a fire has been lit at the police union building, a regular site of protests since they began in late May.

According to police, the group was warned around 10:30 p.m. to “not engage in criminal activities” and disperse. “People within the crowd committed crimes when they erected a fence, pushed dumpsters into the street to block traffic, set a dumpster on fire, vandalized the PPA office with spray paint, and destroyed security cameras,” police said in a release.

At 11:35 p.m., people within the crowd broke the window of the police union offices, entered the building and then lit a fire, “committing the crimes of criminal mischief, burglary, and attempted arson,” police said. A riot was then declared and all people assembled were ordered to leave, including members of the media and legal observers.

Officers from the Oregon State Police and the Portland police tried to break up the crowd. But three officers were injured as police said the crowd started throwing bottles and paint balloons, as well as shining green laser lights, which is a crime in Oregon. Crime-Ridden Seattle Moves to Abolish ENTIRE Police Force

Well, it may be time to deploy the military to Seattle after all because what local lawmakers are doing is nothing short of allowing the city to be engulfed in violence and anarchy. They’re moving to abolish the police. It’s not defunding. It’s a total dissolution. Non-profit programs and “community-led activities” will replace policing. Why? Well, according to the resolution, the Seattle Police Department perpetuates racism and violence. Oh, yes, and it’s a vehicle of white supremacy. It’s typical ‘woke’ nonsense, and it’s a cancer that’s killing America.
