When future historians go searching for the final nail in the US coffin, they may well settle on the date April 20, 2024.
On that day Congress passed legislation to fund two and a half wars, hand what’s left of our privacy over to the CIA and NSA, and give the US president the power to shut down whatever part of the Internet he disagrees with.
The nearly $100 billion grossly misnamed “National Security Supplemental” guarantees that Ukrainians will continue to die in that country’s unwinnable war with Russia, that Palestinian civilians will continue to be slaughtered in Gaza with US weapons, and that the neocons will continue to push us toward a war with China. It was a total victory for the war party. . .
Speaker Johnson could not have passed these monstrosities without the full support of House Democrats, as the majority of Republicans voted against more money for Ukraine. So in the worst example of “bipartisanship,” Johnson reached across the aisle, stiffed the Republican majority that elected him Speaker, and pushed through a massive gift to the warfare/(corporate) welfare state. . .
Along with sending $100 billion that we don’t have to fund more overseas war, Speaker Johnson threw in another version of the Tik Tok ban, which gives Joe Biden and future presidents the power to shut down websites at will by simply declaring them to be “foreign adversary controlled.
Not to be outdone, the US Senate on that same day passed the extension of Section 702 of the FISA Act, which not only allowed the government to continue spying on us without a warrant, but also contained new language massively expanding how they can spy on us. By Daily Caller. Former Republican Rep. Ron Paul of Texas warned Tucker Carlson in a Tuesday evening interview that a so-called “black swan” event would “pop up” and Americans needed to prepare.
Paul, who served 12 terms in Congress in three stints, discussed the war in Ukraine, attacks on his foreign policy views and the risk of World War III in the interview with Carlson, a co-founder of the Daily Caller and Daily Caller News Foundation. Paul warned that education is necessary for those seeking to get through the event.
“I think we’re reaching this point where some sudden thing is going to happen,” Paul told Carlson. “I believe in that theory of the black swan. It’s going to pop up and it’s not going to be controllable.”
“You have your guns and stored food and all that. It’s not going to work. You have to understand…”@RonPaul on prepping for the future: pic.twitter.com/5MlrOlKx1E
A “black swan event” is defined as an impossibly difficult event to predict that has extremely widespread consequences that challenges basic assumptions, according to the Corporate Finance Institute, which cited 9/11, Brexit, the dotcom crash and the COVID-19 pandemic as examples.
“But people ask, what can they do? I think the most important thing is understand what’s going on,” Paul continued. “It’s education. That’s why I happen to have a home-schooling program that tries to teach this stuff early.”

Ron Paul: It Dawned on Me That the Republic Was Gone When Allen Dulles Was Appointed to the Warren Commission
By Real Clear Politics. Former Rep. Ron Paul spoke with Tucker Carlson on his Twitter/X show this week. One thing he said: “The date I saw it was concrete that there was a coup, and we lost our government was on November 22, the assassination of Kennedy.”
“Do you know who they appointed to the [Warren] Commission? Allen Dulles! … That’s when it dawned on me, the Republic is gone!” Ron Paul quipped.

In a recent Twitter video shared by prominent conservative commentator Tucker Carlson, attention is drawn to the remarkable predictive record of former Congressman Ron Paul. The video showcased Paul’s humility despite accurately forecasting many major disasters over the past two decades.
The clip, posted on March 19, 2024, captures a moment where Carlson praises Paul for his foresight in predicting significant events. Carlson’s tweet reads, “For a man who correctly predicted most of the big disasters of the last twenty years, Ron Paul is remarkably humble.”

Ron Paul, a retired politician and physician, is known for his libertarian views and has maintained a vocal presence in American politics for decades. Throughout his career, he has often criticized government overreach, advocated for individual liberties, and warned against excessive interventionism both domestically and abroad.
Recently, the legendary Dr. Ron Paul appeared on Tim Pools popular podcast, where he discussed an array of topics, from the economy to vaccines and everything in between.
But the one topic that’s garnered the most attention, is Dr. Paul’s theory on the Kennedy assassination. In short, Dr. Paul believes the moment our government decided to assassinate a US President was the start of a “coup” which destroyed American democracy.
“I’m arguing the case that we’re in the middle of it and moving right along, that the revolution has been fought, there’s been a coup, we don’t have any resemblance to a government that believes in a Republic, we don’t have honest money, we don’t have integrity,” Paul said.
He continued, “But I do believe there has been a coup, and it’s been taken over, and if I want to, and if I can I want to just put the date in my mind, and anybody could pick probably any date in the last 100 years, but I have picked November 22nd 1963. That was the day Kennedy was murdered by our government, you know, by the CIA.”
But even more interesting than that is Dr. Paul’s theory on the “groundwork” that was laid in order to pull off such a brazen move; and furthermore, how Kennedy’s assignation ultimately gave birth to the Deep State. Former Congressman Ron Paul has called on President Trump to fire Dr. Anthony Fauci, the administration’s senior scientific advisor on the coronavirus task force.
Paul, who has regularly expressed his reservations over allowing the government to enforce a lockdown, says Fauci needs to be stopped before he is given “total control” over the American people.
“He should be fired, but if you don’t do it in the literal sense, the people have to fire him,” Paul said, adding “They have to fire him by saying ‘he’s a fraud.’”
“The plan that they have is when things are getting back to normal, people can return to their work, and they do things, and go to the golf course if they get a stamp of approval,” Paul continued.
“Your liberties are there if you get a proper stamp from the government. It’s an excuse to have total control over the people,” Paul urged.

And that “calamity,” according to libertarian and former presidential candidate Ron Paul, could very well lead to a 50% drop in the stock market. For the Dow DJIA, -0.33% that would mean about 12,500 or so . . .
“I think we have a greater distortion and a financial danger sitting out there bigger than ever before,” he told CNBC in an interview this week. “Everything is just very burdened with debt, and there’s no stopping it.”
Paul has been calling for a deep selloff for a while now. In fact, in August he made a similar call, saying stocks could get cut in half within a year. So far, not even close, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 index SPX, -0.05% despite some big hits in February, have managed to move markedly higher from there. Dr. Ron Paul says the American electoral system is rigged to keep “independent thinkers” from succeeding.
“I see elections as so much of a charade,” the former Texas congressman said during an April 11 appearance on RT America’s “The Fishtank.” “So much deceit goes on.”
Paul is no stranger to the twisted rules of the American presidential horse race. He ran for the highest office as a Libertarian in 1988, and in 2008 and 2012 as a Republican.
He arguably came closest to the nomination in 2012, when the GOP amended its party regulations to prevent the former Texas representative from stealing Mitt Romney’s thunder.
Rule 40(b) of “The Rules of the Republican Party” was changed so the Republican National Committee could “limit the visibility and power of libertarian-minded Texas Rep. Ron Paul at the convention and thus present a unified front behind Mitt Romney, the presumptive nominee,” according to David Byler, an elections analyst at RealClearPolitics. The rule requires that, in order to win the nomination, a candidate must have the support of a majority of delegates from eight states. Despite rising stock prices and a falling unemployment rate, the United States is on the brink of a catastrophic “financial crisis,” according to former U.S. presidential candidate Ron Paul. And the culprit could be the dollar.
“There’s a huge bubble with the dollar,” Paul said on Tuesday’s “Futures Now.” The Dollar index, which measures the dollar against a basket of other major currencies, is near 12-year highs as the Fed has retreated from its stimulative programs at just the same time that other central banks have introduced their easing measures. But rather than take the rally as a sign that investors see strength in the U.S. economy, the outspoken former congressman sees the dollar’s massive move higher as simply a byproduct of a world awash in easy money.
“It’s not so much that the dollar is a great currency. It’s the fact that nothing else is any better, said Paul. “The fundamentals are a disaster. The economy is in bad shape when you have more than half the people hardly making ends meet.”
Paul declined to offer a catalyst or even a timeframe for when the dollar “bubble” could pop, but did warn that it does happen, it will be quick and unexpected. “Most of the time, these things are unforeseen,” he said. “Did anybody warn us about 2007, 2008 in Lehman Brothers? Nobody warned us about that.”
According to Paul, the collapse of the dollar, and by extension, the stock market will likely come when the Fed begins to raise interest rates, something many expect it will do later this year. In his view, the Fed’s policies, and not real economic growth, have been the real reasons the dollar and U.S. equities have rallied. And the absence of those policies could lead to disaster. By Ron Paul. Last week, the Justice Department announced it would not charge former Internal Revenue Service official Lois Lerner with contempt of Congress. Some members of Congress requested that Lerner be charged with contempt after she refused to testify at a congressional hearing investigating her role in denying or delaying the applications for tax-exempt status of Tea Party and pro-limited-government organizations.
Cynics might suggest it is not surprising that a former government official would avoid prosecution for refusing to tell Congress about how federal employees abused their power to help the incumbent administration. These cynics have a point, but the problem goes beyond mere partisanship. Government officials are rarely prosecuted for even the most blatant violations of our liberties. In contrast, federal prosecutors routinely pursue criminal charges against whistleblowers. For example, the only American prosecuted and imprisoned in relation to the government’s use of torture was whistleblower John Kiriakou.
While some officials like Lerner who find themselves at the center of a high-profile scandal or partisan dispute can expect harsh treatment from Congress, this is the exception, not the rule. Executive branch officials usually receive deferential treatment from members of Congress. I recall one hearing on government surveillance where a representative actually apologized to a government official because Congress had the gall to ask that official to testify about the government’s ongoing surveillance of the American people.
In contrast, private citizens called before Congress are harangued and even bullied. Congress should stop using the hearing process to intimidate private citizens and start using it to intimidate those government officials who are threatening our liberty. For example, Congress should continue to investigate the IRS’s ongoing attempts to silence organizations that work to advance free markets and individual liberty. Ron Paul Will Attend Rand’s Presidential Campaign Launch
By David Weigle. Former Texas Congressman Ron Paul will attend Tuesday’s expected launch of Kentucky Senator Rand Paul’s presidential bid. Reached on Monday, Ron Paul’s Texas office confirmed that he was heading to Louisville for the event after his son’s aides scored him a charter flight that would let him keep a long-scheduled commitment in Minneapolis.
For most political campaigns, “will the candidate’s father show up” wouldn’t be much of a question. In Rand Paul’s successful 2010 campaign for Senate, it wasn’t a question at all. In June 2009, Ron Paul’s congressional campaign sent an e-mail to donors credited to the man himself, asking members of the “liberty movement” to back his son.
“During the Presidential election he traveled to ten states giving speeches for me,” wrote Ron Paul. “He appeared on hundreds of radio programs for me. I am grateful for his contribution and very proud of the thoughtful, principled man Rand has become. So, it is with great enthusiasm that I endorse my son Rand’s venture into electoral politics.”
The younger Paul went along with this. He built on his father’s donor network, and shrugged when his opponent attacked the influx of out-of-state money. He talked to the same outsider news networks that had obsessively covered his father. (Read more from this story HERE)

By Andrew Kaczynski. Former Republican presidential candidate and congressman Ron Paul says secession is happening and it’s “good news.” Paul later predicted the states would stop listening to federal laws.
“I would like to start off by talking about the subject and the subject is secession and, uh, nullification, the breaking up of government, and the good news is it’s gonna happen. It’s happening,” Paul, the father of potential Republican presidential candidate Rand Paul, told a gathering at the libertarian Mises Institute in late January. The event Paul was speaking at was titled “Breaking Away: The Case for Secession.”
Paul said secession would not be legislated by Congress, but would be de facto, predicting “when conditions break down…there’s gonna be an alternative.” (Read more about Ron Paul saying it was good that secession is happening HERE)
Here’s Why Ron Paul Thinks the U.S. Didn’t Want to Catch Bin Laden
By Andrew Kaczynski and Megan Apper. Former Republican presidential candidate and congressman Ron Paul says he doesn’t believe the United States government wanted to catch Osama Bin Laden because they needed him as an excuse to build up the military and invade Middle Eastern countries.
“Matter of fact, can’t you just see the difference that might have occurred. Ya know, they knew where Bin Laden was. I don’t think they really wanted to catch him because he was used as the excuse for us, you know, invading various countries and building up the military,” Paul said on Scott Horton’s radio program.
