Ex-NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani out of Coma, Talking and Alert After Hospital Scare: Close Pal

Ex-New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani emerged from a coma Monday and was talking and alert as he remained hospitalized in Florida while recovering from pneumonia, Big Apple billionaire pal John Catsimatidis said.

Catsimatidis said he received the uplifting news from a close former aide to the 81-year-old ex-“America’s mayor’’ Monday afternoon.

“He’s talking, he’s alert. To me, that’s great news,’’ the supermarket and media mogul told reporters.

Giuliani’s shocking weekend hospitalization occurred after he was stricken with the respiratory illness, said his business partner, Tom von Essen, who served as the city’s fire commissioner during 9/11.

“Rudy had a tough weekend. He had pneumonia,” von Essen told The Post, calling Monday “an important day’’ in terms of Giuliani’s recovery. (Read more from “Ex-NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani out of Coma, Talking and Alert After Hospital Scare: Close Pal” HERE)

Rudy Giuliani Appears to Trip, Fall on Convention Floor at RNC

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani appeared to trip and fall into seats on the floor of the Republican National Convention (RNC) on Tuesday.

Video footage posted to X showed Giuliani walking in the aisle between the rows of chairs alongside several people when he tripped and fell into some chairs.

Several people nearby quickly rushed over to assist Giuliani and help him up off the ground.

Taylor Popielarz, a National Political Reporter for Spectrum News Washington D.C. wrote in a post that Giuliani “seemed to be OK” and had been “holding an Osmo camera and continued filming” after he was helped back to his feet.

“For the record: the seating floor is a few inches lower than the red carpeted walkways,” Tia Mitchell, a Washington Correspondent with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution wrote in a post. “Everyone has been falling off. Now Giuliani was apparently walking in a straight line, so I get the questions. But just providing context as to why he fell completely down.”

Hunter Biden Listed as Creditor on Rudy Giuliani’s Bankruptcy Filing

Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, is one of the creditors listed on former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani’s bankruptcy court filing.

Guiliani filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in New York on Thursday after a jury in Washington, D.C., determined that Guiliani owed two Georgia election workers nearly $150 million in damages for defamatory remarks about the 2020 presidential election.

His list of creditors includes Hunter Biden, the IRS, Dominion Voting Systems, Smartmatic, the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, Guiliani Partners LLC and Noelle Dunphy, a former employee who accused Giuliani of sexual assault.

Hunter Biden sued Giuliani in September in connection with the dissemination of his abandoned laptop archive, accusing the former New York City mayor of manipulating the contents of his laptop archive and altering some of its data.

Giuliani provided a copy of Hunter Biden’s laptop hard drive to the New York Post after a Delaware computer repairman gave a copy to Giuliani’s lawyer, the outlet disclosed when it broke the Hunter Biden laptop story in Oct. 2020. Hunter Biden Sues Rudy Giuliani Over Laptop

Hunter Biden on Tuesday filed a lawsuit against Rudy Giuliani alleging the former President Trump lawyer violated his privacy rights by illegally disseminating content from Biden’s infamous laptop.

The complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California states Giuliani is “primarily responsible” for the “total annihilation” of Biden’s digital privacy. It also names Robert Costello, a former federal prosecutor who previously represented Giuliani, as a defendant, Fox News has confirmed.

“For the past many months and even years, Defendants have dedicated an extraordinary amount of time and energy toward looking for, hacking into, tampering with, manipulating, copying, disseminating, and generally obsessing over data that they were given that was taken or stolen from Plaintiff’s devices or storage platforms, including what Defendants claim to have obtained from Plaintiff’s alleged ‘laptop’ computer,” Biden’s attorneys wrote in the complaint, claiming that the data was not even from a “laptop,” but from an “external drive.”

The contents of this “external drive” include pictures, videos, emails and other data that since their initial publication by the New York Post in 2020, have placed Biden in legal jeopardy and caused political problems for his father, President Biden. WATCH: Rudy Giuliani Slapped While Campaigning for Son in New York

Former New York City Mayor and Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani was slapped on the back Sunday at a Staten Island grocery store, by a worker who has since been arrested and charged with second-degree assault.

The 78-year-old was out and about in the conservative-leaning NYC borough campaigning for his son, Andrew, who is seeking the GOP nomination for governor, when the incident occurred. Surveillance footage obtained by the New York Post showed America’s mayor talking to a small group of shoppers at a local ShopRite when a store worker came from behind and slapped him. Giuliani was then grabbed by a woman to his left, who he said may have prevented him from falling forward.

The worker, who police have yet to name, then began heckling the famous Republican about abortion, a major national topic in the wake of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade on Friday.

“All of a sudden, I feel this, ‘Bam!’ on my back,” Giuliani told The Post. “I don’t know if they helped me not fall down, but I just about fell down, but I didn’t.”

‘I Committed No Crime’: Rudy Giuliani Says He’s ‘More Than Willing to Go to Jail’ (VIDEO)

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani pleaded that he “committed no crime” and is “more than willing to go to jail” if he is convicted in an NBC News New York interview Friday.

Federal prosecutors took several of Giuliani’s electronics and personnel phones in an April 28 raid on his home under the accusation that he violated the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), which requires a government agent who wants to engage in foreign political activities to file paperwork for the Justice Department.

“I committed no crime, and if you think I committed a crime, you’re probably really stupid, because you don’t know who I am,” Giuliani said. “Is the guy who put the mafia in jail, terrorists in jail, Ed Koch’s commissioners in jail, and the worst people on Wall Street—I’m not going to file (a form)? I mean, that’s just crazy.”

“I am more than willing to go to jail if they want to put me in jail. And if they do, they’re going to suffer the consequences in heaven,” he continued. “I’m not, I didn’t do anything wrong.”

Rudy Giuliani Suspended From Practicing Law in New York State

Rudy Giuliani, the former personal lawyer for former President Donald Trump who once held one of the legal profession’s most prestigious jobs, was suspended Thursday from practicing law in New York state by an appellate court that found he made “demonstrably false and misleading statements” about the 2020 election.

In a ruling released following disciplinary proceedings, the court concluded that “there is uncontroverted evidence” that Giuliani, the former Manhattan US attorney, “communicated demonstrably false and misleading statements to courts, lawmakers and the public at large in his capacity as lawyer for former President Donald J. Trump and the Trump campaign in connection with Trump’s failed effort at reelection in 2020.”

Giuliani’s “conduct immediately threatens the public interest and warrants interim suspension from the practice of law,” the court wrote.

The suspension of his law license marks a precipitous fall for the former New York City mayor, once considered an accomplished and formidable force in legal circles. In recent years, however, Giuliani’s reputation has suffered as he has come under criminal investigation by the office he used to lead, the Manhattan US attorney’s office, for possible illegal lobbying. He has denied wrongdoing. (Read more from “Rudy Giuliani Suspended From Practicing Law in New York State” HERE)

Alan Dershowitz Slams FBI Raid on Rudy Giuliani’s Apartment

Attorney Alan Dershowitz on Sunday explained why he agreed to help Rudy Giuliani as the former mayor is investigated over his Ukraine dealings — slamming the US as a “banana republic” after the FBI raided Giuliani’s Manhattan home.

Dershowitz, a Harvard law professor who served on President Donald Trump’s impeachment legal team, said it was “inappropriate” for the federal agents to execute a search warrant at Giuliani’s Upper East Side apartment last week.

“In banana republics, in Castro‘s Cuba, in many parts of the world when a candidate loses for president, they go after the candidate, they go after his lawyers, they go after his friends,” Dershowitz told host John Catsimatidis on the “Cats Roundtable” podcast Sunday.

“That’s happening in America now. They’re going after Rudy Giuliani,” he continued, noting that Giuliani was the US attorney for the Southern District of New York in the 1980s. (Read more from “Alan Dershowitz Slams FBI Raid on Rudy Giuliani’s Apartment” HERE)

Feds Execute Search Warrant at Rudy Giuliani’s Manhattan Apartment

Federal investigators executed a search warrant at Rudy Giuliani’s apartment in Manhattan as part of an investigation involving dealings with Ukraine, according to a Wednesday report.

The New York Times, citing “three people with knowledge of the matter,” reported that the feds executed a search warrant at the lawyer’s Upper East Side apartment as part of the investigation into his dealings with Ukraine — specifically, the accusations that he “illegally lobbied Trump administration in 2019 on behalf of Ukrainian officials and oligarchs.”

“One of the people said the investigators had seized Mr. Giuliani’s electronic devices,” the Times reported, noting the significance of executing the search warrant given Giuliani’s status as a lawyer for the former president, particularly:

While the warrant is not an explicit accusation of wrongdoing against Mr. Giuliani, it shows that the investigation has entered an aggressive new phase. To obtain a search warrant, investigators need to persuade a judge they have sufficient reason to believe that a crime was committed and that the search would turn up evidence of the crime.

Rudy Giuliani Now Says He Won’t Be on Trump’s Impeachment Defense Team

Rudy Giuliani will not be part of President Trump’s defense team in the Senate trial for his second impeachment, according to a report.

The president’s personal attorney told ABC News that he will not represent Trump due to his involvement in the Jan. 6 “Save America Rally” in DC, where he called for a “trial by combat” amid the election vote certification.

“Because I gave an earlier speech [at the rally], I am a witness and therefore unable to participate in court or in the Senate chamber,” Giuliani, who had led Trump’s efforts to overturn the election results, told ABC News.

The former New York City mayor initially told the outlet that he was prepared to argue that Trump’s claims of voter fraud did not constitute incitement to violence because the debunked claims are true. (Read more from “Rudy Giuliani Now Says He Won’t Be on Trump’s Impeachment Defense Team” HERE)
