This Question Was Palin’s ‘Last Straw’ During Mock Interview With Comedian

Sarah Palin recently revealed she was “duped” by actor Sacha Baron Cohen, who disguised himself as a disabled U.S. veteran to interview her for his upcoming Showtime series, Who Is America?.

And a source tells PEOPLE that the former Alaska governor, 54, walked out of the prank interview after the disguised Cohen asked her a “horrible” question about Chelsea Clinton.

The interview, which taped in November 2017, was booked through a speaker’s bureau that was working with the former Republican vice-presidential candidate at the time. “The request was very sophisticated and looked legit,” the source says.

“All of it was obnoxious, but I think the last straw was when the interviewer asked about what he claimed was a government-funded sex-change operation for Chelsea Clinton,” the source says. “Cohen was trying to get Governor Palin to say something homophobic and hateful. She takes it personally when anyone goes after the children and families of politicians. She just thought, ‘What a horrible thing.’ She was particularly incensed about that.” . . .

Palin previously shared that she and her daughter were asked to travel across the country for the interview, where she claimed Cohen had “heavily disguised himself as a disabled US Veteran, fake wheelchair and all.” (Read more from “This Question Was Palin’s ‘Last Straw’ During Mock Interview With Comedian” HERE)

Sarah Palin Issues This Challenge to CBS After ‘Disrespectful’ Fake Interview

By The Blaze. Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin challenged CBS and Showtime after she walked out of a fake interview she was duped into agreeing to with a disguised comedian. . .

Palin says she was contacted by an organization that invited her to an interview with a wounded warrior – but the veteran was an imposter and in fact comedian Sacha Cohen, who is known for his fake interviews of famous celebrities. . .

“Out of respect for what I was led to believe would be a thoughtful discussion with someone who had served in uniform, I sat through a long ‘interview’ full of Hollywoodism’s disrespect and sarcasm,” she added, “but finally had enough and literally, physically removed my mic and walked out, much to Cohen’s chagrin.” . . .

“Here is my challenge, shallow Sacha boy,” Palin said. “Go ahead – air the footage. Experience tells us it will be heavily edited, not pretty, and intended to humiliate.”

“The challenge is to Cohen, CBS and Showtime,” she added, “donate all proceeds to a charitable group that actually respects and supports American Vets.” (Read more from “Sarah Palin Issues This Challenge to CBS After ‘Disrespectful’ Fake Interview” HERE)

Furious Sarah Palin Reveals She Was Tricked by Sacha Baron Cohen When He Pretended to Be a Wounded Veteran to Interview Her for His New Show ‘Who Is America?’

By Daily Mail. Sacha Baron Cohen has done his best to avoid the spotlight and hide behind the characters he plays for almost 20 years, but that may be about to change.

Sarah Palin revealed on Tuesday that she was duped into filming an interview with Sacha Baron Cohen in Washington DC for his new series Who Is America?, completely unaware of the comedian’s intentions.

She claims that Cohen disguised himself as a wounded veteran for the sit-down, and that to cap things off the production team knowingly dropped her and her daughter off at the wrong airport, knowing they would not be able to get a flight back to Alaska. . . .

DailyMail.com has been told by a source that it was the American Programs Bureau that presented this opportunity to Palin, the same group who manages the likes of Larry King, Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs, Sir Richard Branson and Mikhail Gorbachev, to name a few.

‘For my interview, my daughter and I were asked to travel across the country where Cohen (I presume) had heavily disguised himself as a disabled US Veteran, fake wheelchair and all,’ explained Palin. Sarah Palin Responds to John Mccain Saying He Regrets Choosing Her as VP

By The Daily Wire. On Thursday, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin responded to a New York Times report that claimed Senator John McCain said he regretted choosing Mrs. Palin as his vice presidential pick during the 2008 presidential election.

Palin told The Daily Mail the report was surprising and that it felt like a “perpetual gut-punch” every time she read it.

“That’s not what Sen. McCain has told me all these years, as he’s apologized to me repeatedly for the people who ran his campaign – some who now staff MSNBC, the newsroom there, which tells you a lot,” claimed the former governor . . .

Earlier in the week, the Times reported that McCain’s new book, “The Restless Wave,” says he regretted choosing Palin as his number two on the ticket and wished he had gone with Senator Joseph Lieberman, an Independent.

It’s possible McCain’s ghostwriter added the claim, said Mrs. Palin, since it’s so far off from what he’s told her privately. “I attribute a lot of what we’re hearing and reading regarding McCain’s statements to his ghostwriter or ghostwriters,” she said. “I don’t know all the details of his condition right now. It happens to me also where people speak for me and a bell is rung, and you can’t un-ring the bell.” (Read more from “Sarah Palin Responds to John Mccain Saying He Regrets Choosing Her as VP” HERE)

That’s Not What He Told Me! Sarah Palin Says Hearing John Mccain Say He Regrets Picking Her as His Running Mate in 2008 Is a ‘Perpetual Gut-Punch’ – and Claims He’s Told Her the Opposite

By Daily Mail. . .The onetime Alaska governor spoke to DailyMail.com in Washington before headlining a fundraising event for a Trump-friendly political action committee.

McCain’s recurring apology for her treatment at the hands of the Republican Party elites who turned their noses up at her ‘going rogue’ style, she insisted, ‘has almost been a running joke between the two of us over these years.’

‘I stop him all the time and say, “Please don’t apologize.”

There’s nothing to apologize for anyway, Palin said, since former president Barack Obama’s victory over her and McCain was basically written in the stars.

‘There were elements of a perfect storm for Barack Obama to have been elected. It worked out the way that it was supposed to work out,’ she said. (Read more from “That’s Not What He Told Me! Todd Palin Is Seen for the First Time Since Being Attacked by His Son Track

Todd Palin, husband of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, was seen for the first time since being attacked by his 28-year-old son Track in December 2017.

“Trailering snowmachines to trailhead for trek out to the cabin… perfect way to usher in the new year! May 2018 be a year of breakthrough, joy & victory for all!” former Gov. Palin wrote in a Monday Instagram post.

In the photo, Todd Palin can be seen sporting a black eye and a cut on the bridge of his nose, the result of an attack that resulted in three criminal charges for his eldest son.

As noted by the U.K. Daily Mail, Todd Palin had shied away from the public eye in the wake of the family conflict that began after his son Track Palin broke into the family home in late 2017.

According to an incident report from the Wasilla Police Department, Track, who wasn’t welcome on the property, began arguing with his father about a truck on Dec. 16, 2017.

Then, Sarah Palin reportedly called 911 and told the operator that her son was “freaking out and was on some type of medication.”

According to the arrest affidavit, “Track told him he was (going to) come anyway to beat his a–,” after his father had told him he would not be allowed to drive the family truck while intoxicated from alcohol and pain medication.

The threat prompted Todd Palin to reportedly pull out a pistol in an attempt to protect himself and his family.

The Western Journal reported that Track witnessed the gun through the window of the home and attempted to goad his dad into shooting him.

However, Todd Palin told police that he couldn’t bring himself to fire the weapon at his son.

Track Palin then broke into the home through a window and reportedly struggled with his father.

He disarmed his father, before taking him to the ground and striking him in the head multiple times.

Todd Palin was able to escape the house with his wife and was reportedly seated in a car outside the home when police arrived.

After the attack, the eldest Palin son held police off from inside the home for at least 15 minutes. He reportedly called the officers “peasants” and demanded that they disarm themselves before the standoff ended, resulting in Track Palin’s arrest on charges of first-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree assault.

The U.K. Daily Mail reported that Track Palin is now under house arrest after walking free from a pretrial facility five days after the attack when his friend, Kaleb Westfall, posted his bail of $5,000. Police: Drug and Alcohol Use, Assault on Father Led to Arrest of Sarah Palin’s Son

An intoxicated Track Palin physically assaulted his father and engaged in a brief standoff with police at his parents’ home in Wasilla, Alaska, before being arrested Saturday night.

The son of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin argued with his father, Todd Palin, about a truck Saturday, according to court documents obtained by the New York Daily News.

Sarah Palin called 911 around 8:30 p.m. when her son arrived at the home after being told to stay away. She told police that her son was “freaking out and was on some type of medication,” the U.K. Daily Mail reported.

Todd Palin had informed Track by phone that, because he was taking pain medication and had been drinking, he would not be allowed to drive the family truck.

According to the arrest affidavit, “Track told him he was (going to) come anyway to beat his a–.”

Although Todd Palin had taken a pistol out after the threat from his son, he later told police that he couldn’t bring himself to fire the weapon at his son.

Todd Palin, however, had already seen the gun through a window of the home and yelled several times for his father to go ahead and shoot him.

Track Palin then broke into the home by breaking a window. Once inside, he struggled with his father, disarming him and eventually getting him down on the floor, where he hit him in the head multiple times.

When Todd Palin was able to free himself, he left the house with his wife. When police arrived, he was seated in a car outside the home.

“Todd appeared to have injuries to his face and head based on the visible blood running down his face,” Officer Adam LaPointe wrote in the affidavit.

Track Palin, meanwhile, was alone inside the home and apparently screaming.

He held police off from within the home for at least 15 minutes, during which Palin called the officers “peasants” and demanded they disarm themselves.

The brief standoff ended in Track Palin’s arrest.

Palin, 28, faces charges of felony first-degree burglary, fourth-degree assault and misdemeanor criminal mischief.

Sarah Palin has previously blamed post-traumatic stress disorder brought on by a tour with the military in Iraq for his erratic and sometimes criminal acts.

Last year, shortly after the 2008 vice-presidential nominee had endorsed then-presidential candidate Donald Trump, Todd Palin assaulted his ex-girlfriend while intoxicated and then threatened to shoot himself in the head with rifle. Sarah Palin Considering Suing New York Times

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is considering suing the New York Times for libel after the Times published a Wednesday editorial falsely accusing her of inciting Jared Lee Loughner to shoot Rep. Gabby Giffords in 2011 even though it has long been established that there has never been any evidence whatsoever linking Palin to the attempted assassination.

Palin tweeted that a journalist suggested to her on Thursday that the Times “has fulfilled the two criteria for libeling a public figure”—a reckless disregard for the truth and malice.

She said she is “talking to attorneys this AM and exploring options.”

After James T. Hodgkinson, who supported Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and hated President Donald Trump and Republicans, shot House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) and targeted other Republicans as they were practicing for their Congressional baseball game, the Times decided to publish an editorial on Wednesday in which it falsely blamed Palin for the assassination attempt on Giffords:

Was this attack evidence of how vicious American politics has become? Probably. In 2011, when Jared Lee Loughner opened fire in a supermarket parking lot, grievously wounding Representative Gabby Giffords and killing six people, including a 9-year-old girl, the link to political incitement was clear. Before the shooting, Sarah Palin’s political action committee circulated a map of targeted electoral districts that put Ms. Giffords and 19 other Democrats under stylized cross hairs.

Palin Will Work to Defeat Ryan in Primary for Trump Stance

Sarah Palin will work to defeat House Speaker Paul Ryan by backing his primary opponent in Wisconsin, the former Alaska governor told CNN’s Jake Tapper.

Palin said in an interview that airs Sunday on “State of the Union” that her decision was sparked by Ryan’s bombshell announcement to Tapper last week that he wasn’t yet ready to support Donald Trump, the Republican presumptive nominee. Palin endorsed Trump back in January.

“I think Paul Ryan is soon to be ‘Cantored,’ as in Eric Cantor,” Palin said, referring to the former Republican House majority leader who was ousted in a shocking upset in 2014 when challenger Dave Brat ran to his right in a Virginia primary. After Rapper Says Palin Should Be Gang-Raped by Black Men, Sarah Shows Her Why You Don’t Mess With Alaska

In a series of tweets that have since been deleted, Rapper Azealia Banks called for the brutal gang-rape of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin. It was all supposedly a response to an article that quoted Palin as saying “African Americans accepted slavery willingly.”

The problem is that the article in question was satire…

So, Sarah Palin took to Facebook to dish out an epic response:

Hey Female Rapper – listen up, little darling. No one has any idea what you're wigging out about in these bizarre,…

Sarah Palin Just Gave Another Big Update on Her Husband Todd

Less than three weeks after a severe snowmobile crash which sent her husband to the hospital, Sarah Palin posted an update on her husband’s condition to Facebook.

She began by saying, “So grateful for your prayers and support during Todd’s recovery! He’s in a good place – on the couch – insisting if there’s any good season for injury, it’s now.”

In the post, Palin said NCAA March Madness and catching up on episodes of Deadliest Catch and Bering Sea Gold have been a great distraction for him, as well as awesome motivational therapy . . .

She continued, saying the kindness that has been shown during the days since the crash has greatly touched Todd.

He agreed, saying, “It’s overwhelming and I’m not worthy of these well-wishes. I wish I could repay people for caring. Makes me want to do more for others, especially when they’re down and out. Maybe that’s part of the purpose in all this.”

In an expression of his gratitude for the support and encouragement received, Todd Palin said, “I can’t thank you guys enough. The past few weeks showed us it’s not just family circling the wagons; I don’t think we’d ever realized that before. People out there who are hurting a hundred times worse than I was can use our prayers and any kind gesture. Maybe I can only repay by offering the same to you.” (Read more from “Sarah Palin Just Gave Another Big Update on Her Husband Todd” HERE)

Watch: Sarah Palin Takes Swing at Beck at Wisconsin GOP Dinner

Sarah Palin took a swing at Glenn Beck Friday night, indirectly going after the radio host for visiting the Southern U.S. border in 2014 to deliver tractor-trailers full of food, water, teddy bears and soccer balls to underage refugees.

Palin, a top surrogate for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, made her comments on illegal immigration at a Wisconsin Republican Party fundraiser ahead of Tuesday’s primary. She contended that other candidates “didn’t want to talk about it,” but Trump “made them.”

“Now because he beat the media on that issue. … But knowing that Trump won on that issue it should empower you to go ahead and ask the candidates,” Palin said. “‘What the heck are you thinking candidates. What are you thinking when you’re going ahead and asking for more illegal immigrants?’ Even illegal immigrants. Welcoming them!”

“Even inducing them and seducing them with gift baskets,” she continued. “‘Come on over the border and here’s a gift basket of teddy bears and soccer balls.’ What are you thinking? It’s just inviting more.”

When Beck visited the border in 2014, Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Mike Lee (R-Utah) joined him. Beck has been a top surrogate for Cruz in the 2016 election cycle. (Read more from “Palin Takes Swing at Beck in Rambling Speech at Wisconsin GOP Dinner” HERE)
