Not ‘by Accident’: Ted Cruz Blasts How Entire Trump Trial ‘Is Designed to Interfere With Election’

When the “guilty” verdict for former and potentially future President Donald Trump came down on Thursday, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) was among several top Republican senators who took to social media to share his true outrage over such a “miscarriage of justice.” He also previewed the special edition of his podcast, “The Verdict,” which he released later that night. A major theme throughout the episode was what a “travesty” the outcome was, and how it amounts to “a political hit job” and “the worst instance of election interference our country’s ever seen,” among other things.

The election interference looks to be all by design, and that it was that way from the start. Co-host Ben Ferguson reminded that sentencing is to take place on July 11, four day before the Republican National Convention takes place in Milwaukee. As Ferguson expressed concerns that Trump could be prevented from attending if he was imprisoned or placed under house arrest, he wondered, “how is that alone not election interference?”

While Cruz feels certain “that’s not gonna happen,” he did point out how “it is illustrative of just how ridiculous what’s transpired is.” From there, the senator continued to let us know how he really feels. “I am on one level furious. This is an outrage. It is it is a disgusting assault on democracy on the rule of law. But I’m also heartbroken. I’m heartbroken, and I believe in our justice system. Our justice system is supposed to provide equal justice under law,” he shared.

He carried that emotion over into what it means for not just Trump, but the sense of justice–or lack thereof in New York– especially considering how DA Alvin Bragg and Acting New York County Supreme Court Justice Juan Manuel Merchan’s handled the matter. Merchan’s way of handling the case was panned and decried, and he has had conflicts of interest from the start, including through his adult daughter’s politics.

Senator Sounds Alarm Over ‘Clear and Present Danger’ to U.S. That Biden Caused

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) highlighted an explosive story this week about an illegal alien who was apprehended at the U.S. southern border this month who admitted to being a member of one of the world’s largest Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO).

U.S. border officials arrested 22-year-old Lebanese national Basel Bassel Ebbadi on March 9 near El Paso, Texas. He told agents he was a member of the Hezbollah terrorist group and that he was planning to make a bomb in the United States.

“That is what happens when Joe Biden and the Democrats open up our southern border,” Cruz said during the most recent episode of his “Verdict” podcast with co-host Ben Ferguson. “And it is inviting the inevitable, which is what just happened. Hezbollah terrorists crossing our border with the intention of carrying out acts of terror in the United States.”

Cruz then spoke about the explosion in the number of individuals who have been apprehended on the southern border who are on the terrorist watchlist.

Ted Cruz Predictably Turns on Senator Tuberville’s Principled Stand Against the Pentagon’s Disgusting (and Illegal) Pro-Abortion Policies

Senator Ted Cruz became the latest Republican to criticize his colleague from Alabama over Mr. Tuberville’s ongoing refusal to allow for voice approvals of military promotions to pass in the Senate, telling radio host Hugh Hewitt that America’s military readiness was suffering as a result of key positions going unfilled.

Mr. Cruz’s break from his colleague is significant . . . It’s a sign of just how few allies remain with Mr.Tuberville as his hold has stretched for months. . .

Mr. Tuberville and other Republicans are staunchly opposed to a policy enacted by the Biden administration allowing service members to be reimbursed for travel expenses if they need to leave their state to access abortion services. Implemented after the Dobbs decision in 2022 ended federal protections for abortion rights, Republicans argue that the policy violates the Hyde Amendment, which restricts the federal government from using funds for abortion services except in a few specific cases.

For months, the Republican from Alabama has refused to allow military promotions to be approved by voice in the Senate in retaliation. Technically, the promotions could still be approved by the full chamber in a roll call vote, but such a process is timely. Democrats who control the chamber also oppose the idea of setting a precedent by giving in to a member’s demands in such a fashion. Senator Warns About Biden-Appointed ‘Iranian Spies’ Working in the U.S. Government

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is exposing the Biden Administration’s involvement with Iranian spies working within the United States government.

This weekend, Cruz joined “Sunday Morning Futures with host Maria Bartiromo” on Fox News to uncover the truth about three “Iranian spies” allegedly working at senior levels within the Biden Administration. . .

“Rob Malley was Joe Biden’s chief negotiator for Iran. He’s an incredible Iran sympathizer. He is an advocate, a passionate advocate for the disastrous Obama-Iran nuclear deal,” Cruz said, adding that Malley has come under investigation by the FBI after his security clearance with the State Department was suspended earlier this year.

Cruz said Malley held one of U.S. history’s most significant national security scandals.

“He’s had his security clearances stripped, which I want you to pause and think, just how bad does his conduct have to be to have his security clearances pulled by this ideological and radical White House?” Cruz questioned. Ted Cruz Trusts Hunter Biden Whistleblower Because He’s a ‘Gay Democrat’

Republican Senator Ted Cruz said he has no reason not to believe Internal Revenue Service (IRS) whistleblowers regarding their testimony about the Biden family, including one career government employee who is a “gay Democrat married to a man.”

President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, have been investigated by GOP-led House committees since Republicans took over the House majority based on alleged criminalities associated with Hunter Biden’s former position on the board of Ukraine gas company Burisma, as well as purported contact with foreign entities regarding financial dealings.

Cruz’s entire Monday episode was about the IRS employees’ testimony and how U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland could be impeached “if what they’re saying is true.” . . .

Gary Shapley, one of the whistleblowers who Cruz is not referencing, told the House Ways & Means Committee in a May 26 deposition that he had evidence that the Department of Justice (DOJ) “provided preferential treatment, slow-walked the investigation, did nothing to avoid obvious conflicts of interest in this investigation,” according to transcripts. ‘So Pissed Off, I Cannot Even See Straight’ — Ted Cruz Blames Mitch McConnell for GOP Midterm Losses

Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz slammed Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell during a Monday podcast, saying the GOP should have won the majority of the upper chamber and blamed McConnell for not supporting Arizona Senate candidate Blake Masters.

Cruz released an episode of his podcast, titled Verdict with Ted Cruz, where he and co-host Ben Ferguson discussed the midterm elections and the GOP’s failure to recapture the Senate. Cruz mentioned his frustration, saying there was no excuse for McConnell to abandon Masters, calling it “indefensible.”

“Well, Ben, let me start off by saying I am so pissed off, I cannot even see straight,” Cruz said.

“We had an extraordinary opportunity. We had a generational opportunity. This should have been a fundamental landslide election. We should have won the House and the Senate. We should have a 30, 40, 50 vote majority in the House. We should have 53, 54, 55 Republicans in the Senate,” Cruz continued. WATCH: Ted Cruz Hit by a Beer Thrown From Houston Parade Audience, One Man Arrested

Houston police said officers arrested a man suspected of throwing a beer at Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas during the celebratory parade for the Houston Astros Monday.

Video captured the moment Cruz was waving to the crowd as a beer was launched at him. He appeared to deflect the can with the help of a nearby aide.

Police tweeted that officers had arrested a 33-year-old male for allegedly throwing the beer and added that Cruz had been hit in the chest/neck area by the can of beer.

“Nearby HPD officers arrested the male without further incident. He was taken to jail and faces assault charges. We will release the suspect’s name and booking photo here when formal charges are filed,” police said in a second tweet.

Cruz was riding atop a military vehicle with his wife and their two daughters when the incident occurred. Video from another angle showed a second person assisting his family after the can bounced off of Cruz. What’s Their Real Agenda? GOP Senator Says Dems Blocked Legislation to Harden School Security (VIDEO)

On Wednesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) stated that Democrats blocked legislation he proposed in 2013 to bolster school security and keep firearms out of the hands of criminals and the mentally ill by keeping it from reaching the 60-vote threshold.

Cruz said, “In 2013, I introduced legislation that would spend $300 million on federal grants to harden schools to make them safer, to make them more protected. The Democrats filibustered that legislation. I’ve introduced legislation to say schools like this elementary school behind me can get federal grants to harden their security, to put in bulletproof doors, bulletproof glass, to put in armed police officers to protect kids.”

Senator: Biden Is ‘Threatening the Lives of These Justices’

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) accused President Joe Biden of unleashing an angry “mob” by refusing to condemn people protesting outside the homes of Supreme Court justices.

Cruz, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, argued the protests outside of Supreme Court justices’ homes are endangering the lives of the justices while the Left continues to embrace the tactic. People have gathered outside of the Supreme Court and around the country this week to protest the possible overturning of Roe v. Wade, indicated in a leaked Supreme Court draft opinion last week.

“It was shameful that the White House refused to condemn violent protesters threatening the families of the Supreme Court,” Cruz told Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo on Sunday. “Joe Biden used to be chairman of the Judiciary Committee. Joe Biden knows it’s disgraceful. He’s literally threatening the lives of these justices by the mob they’re unleashing.”
