FBI Counterterrorism Expert Just Gave Chilling Warning to All Americans – You Need to See It

An FBI counterterrorism expert has delivered a stunning warning about terrorism right here in America. Although frightening, many believe it makes perfect sense.

Dr. Sebastian Gorka, an expert on counterinsurgency and counterterrorism and who runs The Gorka Briefing website, appeared on Fox News with Megyn Kelly on Wednesday to warn Americans that ISIS is already among us and that we shouldn’t sit back and expect the government to protect us.

“Don’t wait for Uncle Sam to protect you. Every American has a duty and responsibility to be aware of the threat and be prepared to protect themselves,” Gorka told Kelly.

ISIS is here, Gorka said. The guest then reminded his audience that there were at lest 82 ISIS suspects arrested in America already and that happened in just a 20-month period. He also noted that FBI director James Comey has reported that there are up to 900 terror-related investigations going on in every state in the union.

In October, Director Comey said that the number of investigations is “slowly climbing” as ISIS expands its reach into the U.S . . .

“You have to be tactically aware,” Gorka insisted. “If you’re in a state, you’re in a municipality that allows you to carry a weapon you should do so. You should get training, you should carry it, your members of your family that are prepared to do so likewise.”

Report: Al Qaeda Terrorists Entered United States Through Refugee Program

Two al Qaeda terrorists who had killed American soldiers were able to enter the country as refugees, according to a report released Wednesday from the House Homeland Security committee.

Waad Ramadan Alwan and Mohanad Shareef Hammadi, two Iraqi refugees settled in Bowling Green, Kentucky, after killing American soldiers, whom they bragged about having “for lunch and dinner.” In 2010, they were caught handling weapons, including included a machine gun and a missile launcher, that they planned to smuggle to insurgents in Iraq.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if there were many more than that,” said Rep. Michael McCaul (R., Texas), the chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security. “And these are trained terrorists in the art of bombmaking that are inside the United States; and quite frankly, from a homeland security perspective, that really concerns me.”

The committee’s report found that the administration’s refugee resettlement program proposal will have “a limited impact on alleviating the overall crisis but could have serious ramifications for U.S. homeland security.”

Jeh Johnson, the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, admitted in October at a hearing before the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs committee that organizations such as the Islamic State might attempt to exploit the Syrian refugee resettlement program. Watch: Heavy Gunfire Breaks out in Paris as Police Hunt for Terrorists

Per NZHerald, two or three men have barricaded themselves in an apartment in Paris and are exchanging automatic weapon gunfire with police officers, according to journalist Djamel Mazi, who is live tweeting the action from Paris.

Mazi reported the sound of explosions had been heard from the area where the gunfight was taking place. He said locals were told to leave the area as police are attempting to catch one of the suspects from Friday’s shooting in Paris.

PARIS TERRORIST ATTACK UPDATE: One Terrorist Confirmed as a Syrian Refugee

As a new day dawns, and the people of Paris begin the process of healing, here is what is known. Over 120 people are confirmed dead in multiple, almost simultaneous attacks, by Islamic terrorists. The Greek government has confirmed, according to a Greek journalist on Twitter, that at least one of the terrorists was a Syrian refugee who entered the European Union through Greece.

As of 5:50 PM EST, 60 people are reported dead and more than a hundred more are being held hostage in four, possibly five, simultaneous terrorist attacks in Paris, France.

CNN reports “[i]mmediate suspicion for the events in Paris falls to so-called returnees — people who have traveled to Syria and Iraq and have returned, the officials said.”

“At least six shootings took place in Paris and three explosions took place at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis late Friday, CNN affiliate BFMTV said. Two or three gunmen entered the Bataclan concert hall while opening fire on law enforcement, BFMTV reported. A source earlier told CNN there were six to eight hostage takers, citing a person they were talking to inside the venue.”

The 6-8 gunman who are holding more than a hundred people hostage at the concert all are said to have shouted “Allahu Akbar!” before opening fire on law enforcement agents and the crowd.

Top Law Enforcement Official Says Terrorists Infiltrated U.S. Through This Country, It’ll Definitely Surprise You

A few days ago a top law enforcement official finally confirmed that Islamic terrorists have infiltrated the United States through Mexico, a story that Judicial Watch broke last year as part of an ongoing series involving the dangerously porous southern border.

Last October JW reported that four members of the militant group Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS), who entered the U.S. through the Mexican border, were arrested in McAllen and Pharr Texas. Then, over the summer, JW reported that Mexican drug cartels are smuggling foreigners from countries with terrorist links into a small Texas rural town near El Paso and they’re using remote farm roads—rather than interstates—to elude the Border Patrol and other law enforcement barriers. The information comes from sources on both sides of the Mexico-U.S. border who say the Special Interest Aliens (SIA) are being transported to stash areas in Acala, a rural crossroads located around 54 miles from El Paso on a state road – Highway 20.

Prior to that JW published a series of investigative articles citing high-level federal law enforcement, intelligence and other sources certifying that Islamic terrorist groups are operating in at least two Mexican border towns. In August, 2014 ISIS planned to attack the U.S. with car bombs or other vehicle borne improvised explosive devices (VBIED) from a camp in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez. Agents across a number of Homeland Security, Justice and Defense agencies were all placed on alert and instructed to aggressively work all possible leads and sources concerning the terrorist threat. In Chattanooga’s Wake, DHS Wants to Revive Terrorism Alert System

By Kevin Baron. President Barack Obama’s top homeland security official has ordered a review of the nation’s terrorism alert system to reflect what he called the growing threat of attacks originating within the United States.

The U.S. has never used the National Terrorism Alert System, a two-level system that replaced the oft-derided color-coded terrorism alerts installed after 9/11 to spread the word about potential attacks from abroad. But after a “homegrown violent extremist” killed five service members in Chattanooga, Tenn. — and amid the expectation of more terrorist-inspired attacks — the Department of Homeland Security wants to revise and jumpstart the system.

“I’ve asked our folks to consider whether we should revise that system to accommodate how the terrorism threat has evolved,” DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson said Tuesday at the annual meeting of the Association of the U.S. Army in Washington, D.C.“That review is underway now.”

Instead of the post-9/11 green-to-red progression, the NTAS has just two states of alert. An “elevated threat” means there is a credible threat against the United States. An “imminent threat” alerts the public to just that, “a credible, specific, and impending terrorist threat against the United States.”

Under the old system, DHS took much criticism that the nation was being held on constant orange alert for no good reason. But the department has since been criticized for never issuing any alerts. U.S. intelligence and national and local law enforcement officials have opted to keep the public in the dark to avoid panic with a sudden terrorism alert. NYPD Has Super-Secret X-Ray Vans

By Yoav Gonen and Shawn Cohen. Police Commissioner Bill Bratton won’t let the NYCLU — or anyone else — bully him for details on the NYPD’s super-secret X-ray vans.

The top cop was asked Tuesday about the counter-terror vehicles, called Z Backscatter Vans, in light of the NYCLU’s request to file an amicus brief arguing that the NYPD should have to release records about the X-ray vans.

“They’re not used to scan people for weapons,” Bratton insisted. “The devices we have, the vehicles if you will, are all used lawfully and if the ACLU and others don’t think that’s the case, we’ll see them in court — where they’ll lose! At this time and the nature of what’s going on in the world, that concern of theirs is unfounded.”

He declined to give more specific details about the devices themselves.

“Those are issues I’d prefer not to divulge to the public at this time,” Bratton said. “I will not talk about anything at all about this — it falls into the range of security and counter-terrorism activity that we engage in.” (Read more from “NYPD Has Super-Secret X-Ray Vans” HERE)

This Isn’t the Way to Honor the Victims of Islamist Terrorism

syrian-migrants-in-greece-AP-640x480Why — on the anniversary of 9-11 — are we debating how many Muslim refugees we will invite into our heartland? Isn’t this a little strange, like a dark Hollywood comedy?

When President Obama and John Kerry suggest taking 10,000 Syrian refugees in 2016, 90 percent of them Muslim and many of them jihadist sympathizers– really, it’s not that hard. Not today. Not ever. Just say no. In fact, say HELL NO!

Why is there even a debate on the matter?

Yes, the flood of refugees fleeing Syria is a humanitarian tragedy of historic proportions. However, these are not refugees from a terrible hurricane, a volcano eruption, or a tsunami tidal wave. These 4,000,000 are refugees from a civil war made intractable and horrific by an Islamist insurrection called the Islamic State, or ISIS. The refugees are a product of the same war that victimized 3,000 Americans on that beautiful September morning in 2001.

Unlike the Vietnam boat people or Cuban refugees after Castro came to power, the U.S. has no moral responsibility for the chaos in Syria. In fact, just the opposite is the case. (Read more from “This Isn’t the Way to Honor the Victims of Islamist Terrorism” HERE)

11 Vehicles Driving in Major US City Struck by Act of Terrorism, Police Say

sniper-913x480Shootings along Interstate 10 in the heart of Phoenix, Ariz., are domestic terrorism being perpetrated by a coward, Arizona Director of Public Safety Colonel Frank Milstead said Wednesday.

“I came literally 24 to 36 inches from losing my life,” said driver Robert Patterson, one of the victims of the shootings.

As of Wednesday, there were 11 incidents in 12 days in which projectiles were fired into cars, mostly along an eight-block section of I-10, Milstead said. Although only one injury has been reported, Milstead said multiple law enforcement agencies have made stopping the spree “Job One.”

“All these actions are potentially lethal encounters. Any time you shoot into a moving vehicle, it has the potential to be a lethal encounter,” Milstead said Wednesday evening. “I think you have to be concerned about safety of yourself and others.”

On Tuesday, an off-duty Phoenix police sergeant was driving to work along I-10 when a projectile shattered the passenger’s side window of his car. Milstead said the officer did not appear to be targeted.

It’s Official: US Terror Threat Not Islamist, Only ‘Extremist’

Homeland Security chief Jeh Johnson announced the policy this past Friday at Aspen Institute’s annual security forum in Washington, D.C. He explained that though it was a Muslim terrorist who shot to death four unarmed Marines in Tennessee two weeks ago, the government will call the attack, and other similar ones, “violent extremism” and not “Islamic terrorism” – out of respect for the Muslim community.

Johnson said it is “critical” to refrain from the “Islamic” label in order to “build trust” among Muslims.

The Tennessee murderer, Mohammad Abdulazeez, is officially a “homegrown violent extremist,” according to the government – even though he blogged about his Islamic religious motivations for the attack. He and his family also attended a local mosque controlled by a terror-tied Islamic trust.

Johnson explained that if officials called Islamic terrorism “Islamic,” they’d “get nowhere” in gaining the “cooperation” of the Muslim community.

These States Are Arming National Guard Members in Wake of Chattanooga Tragedy

While safety concerns at military recruitment centers have been a long-standing issue, last week’s fatal shootings at two Tennessee installations underscore the deep risk recruiters face daily and the scramble at state and national levels to prevent a similar tragedy from taking place again.

The U.S. military on Monday confirmed to Fox News it directed recruiting centers across the country to step up security measures in the wake of the deadly rampage that claimed the lives of four U.S. Marines and a Navy sailor.

At the same time, a handful of governors have taken steps to beef up security measures at National Guard recruitment centers.

Governors in six states – Florida, Indiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Texas – ordered their Guardsmen to be armed.

Adm. Bill Gortney, head of the U.S. Northern Command, which oversees security for military facilities in the United States, issued a directive Sunday night calling on centers to implement modest measures while the Department of Defense hammers out more substantial steps to reduce the risk to recruiters.
