Chattanooga: The Effects of Our Suicidal Immigration Policy

The deadly terror attack that killed four Marines in Chattanooga will undoubtedly weigh on Americans sitting around the dinner table and present questions for many heading into the weekend. Why have we not learned the lessons of 9/11?

This past month, liberals looked throughout the country to destroy every last vestige of Civil War history in the pursuit of a peaceful utopia. In the state of Tennessee, liberals are in the process of disinterring the grave of confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest. But nobody is willing to discuss the biggest existential threat to our national security, despite yet another sad reminder with the Islamic terror attack that killed four Marines in Chattanooga, Tennessee yesterday.

When are we going to stop letting in Islamic terrorists through our front door?

In an open country, we will always have criminal threats from a portion of our native population. There is a limit to what can be done to prevent violent attacks. But immigration is elective. It is optional. We should never be admitting entire classes of people from the most volatile Islamic countries at a time like this.

After 9/11, when the bipartisan 9/11 Commission identified the obvious root cause of the attack as an immigration problem, we doubled down on stupidity. The U.S. has admitted roughly 1.6 million individuals from predominantly Muslim countries since 9/11 – twice the rate of immigration from that part of the world relative to the previous decade.

The Most Important Lesson of Chattanooga Terror Attack

The Islamic terrorist who murdered four marines at a recruiting station, Mohammad Youssduf Adbulazeer, was an immigrant from Kuwait. Let’s be honest, not a single person has been killed in this country in recent history from a killer acquiring inspiration from the confederate flag and generals. Yet, we have had countless Islamic terror attacks on our soil since 9/11 that have been directly inspired by the Islamic ideology and the teachings of Sharia.

We could joke about the lack of outrage and desire to ban Islamic paraphernalia and flags in light of the Chattanooga attack with the same alacrity the Left exhibited following the Charleston shooting. But the more serious question is why we won’t address the core issue of Islamic immigration. Talk about “immigration reform,” for once!

We can waste trillions of dollars and incur thousands of casualties refereeing endless Islamic civil wars oversees. We can tip the scales of power from ISIS to Iran in response to this terror attack. But what will that accomplish if we have already let in so many ticking time bombs through our front door and continue to do so on a daily basis?

We can talk about the absurdity of gun-free zones on military installations, and that is a valid point. As Mark Levin observed last night, the Iranian Islamists can be trusted with nukes but our military cannot be trusted with guns on their own bases. But the most fundamental problem is suicidal immigration. And it’s time we wake up as the political class gears up for new waves of immigration from the Middle East.

Here’s why.

Growing Radicalism Among American Muslims, Particularly Young Males

According to a new poll commissioned by the Center for Security Policy, 51% of Muslims in America believe “Muslims in America should have the choice of being governed according to sharia.” Twenty-nine percent agree that violence against those who insult Mohammad is acceptable and 25% agree that violence against America can be justified as part of Global Jihad. Among males under the age of 45 that number rises to 36%. Twenty-nine percent of males under 45 believe that violence against America is justified in order to make Sharia the law of the land. With an estimated 3 million Muslims in this country (projected to triple by 2050), that could mean there are hundreds of thousands of radicalized ones.

The more precipitously Muslim immigrants are admitted to this country, the less likely they will assimilate and the more likely they will cluster in cities and cultivate a climate of Jihad. The numbers speak for themselves. This is by no means the majority of Muslims, but 25% support for Jihad is an awful lot of security risks, especially among young males.

With so many security threats already brought here in the unforced error of suicidal immigration – the FBI is investigating homegrown terror in all 50 states – the least we can do is immediately prevent more bad decisions in the future. There are two immediate courses of action that must be taken: preventing a mass wave of Syrian refugees and clamping down on the terrorist funding of Mosques in America.

Broken Refugee System

One of the most imminent threats to our country is the broken refugee system. As we’ve noted here many times, our refugee system has been abused to become a magnet for endless waves of radical Muslims. There has been a terror infestation among the Somali refugees in Minneapolis. After admitting over 100,000 Somali refugees from 1993-2013, we are still bringing in up to 10,000 more each year. Of the 15,470 Somali refugees brought in since fiscal year 2014, 99.7% have been Muslim.

Now Obama plans to bring in thousands of Syrian refugees. At present, we’ve admitted over a thousand Syrians the past two fiscal years and more than 94% of them are Muslims. Syrian refugees, much like Iraqi refugees, represents a prima facie threat. There are hundreds of thousands of people displaced from their homes in an Islamic civil war that involves so many disparate factions. Just because they are displaced doesn’t mean they don’t harbor radical Islamic views. Why are we doing this?

Where We Go From Here

It’s time for Congress to:

Block all Syrian refugees until a proper vetting system is presented to Congress by this administration. The Chattanooga jihadist’s family emigrated here from Kuwait after the Gulf War. It’s a mistake to bring people in from parts of the world that are going through upheaval when we have strong concerns about Islamic terror.

Block the expansion of 3,000 Special Afghan Visas that are included in the NDAA – a bill that might get a final vote in Congress next week.

Designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terror group and prevent them from funding mosques inside of this country. If we are going to admit so many Muslim immigrants, the least we can do is not have our enemies radicalize them in a subversion campaign.

When political correctness became a fad, it started out as a cute gesture. Then it became obnoxious. Next it became tyrannical. Now it has become dangerous and downright suicidal.

Face to Face With Boko Haram: A Christian Boy Tells His Story After Escape

Being a soldier meant immediate beheading. Christians usually were given a chance to convert before being killed. Not soldiers – Christian or Muslim.

They seemed to believe his denials that he was a soldier. When they asked him later if he had anyone they could call to ransom him, he said he had no one and had just come out of a 14-month hospitalization. The terrorists offered to help him when they learnt he lost his dad at age 2. He was crippled so he couldn’t be much help as a fighter…

Many months later, after the abduction of the Chibok girls [276 Nigerian schoolgirls kidnapped en masse], they said to him, “if you need anything, tell us – even if you want a wife, you can marry one of the girls we captured.” Henry is one of only a couple of people I know who has inside perspective about the girls’ abduction apart from the girls themselves. . .

On another day, Henry buried his head and wept silently as the terrorists described how they had completely destroyed a town – his hometown. It was a completely Christian hilltop enclave that had survived numerous attacks. He wondered what had happened to his aged mum. He must not let the terrorists know it was his hometown lest they finish him off, too.

Woman’s Story of Captivity in ISIS

This week I visited an encampment north of Mosul, Iraq, where a cleric introduced me to Najat Owdi Rashul, an Iraqi Yazidi woman whose family was released last week after six months of Islamic State detention. She described the conditions for her fellow Yazidi women who were held in a make-shift prison at a banquet hall in Mosul.

Of all the horrors of daily life in the custody of the jihadists, Najat recalled, the worst came in the early evenings. That’s when a commander would call out the names of a few captive women and girls, saying the list was approved by special order of the governor of Mosul, or the caliph himself.

“They would scream when their name was called,” she said. “Sometimes they would begin to pull their hair out and beat their face” to make themselves appear uglier. She said they knew they would be taken away, and would never be seen again . . .

Najat said she was not abused. But she told me that she was terrified that her name would be called. While her account obviously cannot be verified, it comports with these other survivors’ stories and reports from the press and human-rights groups.

The experience for her family and their entire village was searing. The family’s patriarch, a stout Yazidi named Murad Khallaf Ali, said that he was lucky because he was too old to be pressed into service. But many of the younger, more able men were forced to tend the sheep the Islamic State troops had stolen from Yazidi villages, or to place homemade bombs on the sides of roads. BBC News Refuses to Call Charlie Hebdo Killers, ‘Terrorists’

The Islamists who committed the Charlie Hebdo massacre in Paris should be not be described as “terrorists” by the BBC, a senior executive at the corporation has said.

Tarik Kafala, the head of BBC Arabic, the largest of the BBC’s non-English language news services, said the term “terrorist” was too “loaded” to describe the actions of the men who killed 12 people in the attack on the French satirical magazine.

Mr Kafala, whose BBC Arabic television, radio and online news services reach a weekly audience of 36 million people, told The Independent: “We try to avoid describing anyone as a terrorist or an act as being terrorist. What we try to do is to say that ‘two men killed 12 people in an attack on the office of a satirical magazine’. That’s enough, we know what that means and what it is.”

Mr Kafala said: “Terrorism is such a loaded word. The UN has been struggling for more than a decade to define the word and they can’t. It is very difficult to. We know what political violence is, we know what murder, bombings and shootings are and we describe them. That’s much more revealing, we believe, than using a word like terrorist which people will see as value-laden.”

Of the Paris case, Mr Kafala said: “We avoid the word terrorists. It’s a terrorist attack, anti-terrorist police are deployed on the streets of Paris. ISIS Executions Becoming Even More Brutal

By Tom Wyke. Two men were hurled from the top of a tower block, two more were crucified in front of a baying crowd and a woman was stoned to death in the latest series of horrific executions by ISIS.

The men were thrown from the roof down to the crowd below in the brutal punishment for being gay.

Charges found against the accused were announced by a masked Islamic State fighter, using a small handheld radio. Reading from a list, he declares the men are guilty of engaging in homosexual activities and should be punished by death, in accordance with Islamic State’s radical interpretation of Sharia law.

They had been tied up and transported in the back of a white pickup truck to the public execution sight in the Iraqi city of Mosul.

Both prisoners are shown wearing casual clothing rather than the standard orange jumpsuit, commonly worn by many Islamic State prisoners in recent many high profile execution videos. (Read more about the ISIS executions HERE)

Fight the Terrorists Before They Reach the West

Argue about the limits of free speech, the definition of “true” Islam, whether terrorists are lunatics or rational, or the social and political repercussions of terrorism as much as you’d like. The truth is that such debates are irrelevant to the core security problem: There is a growing and energetic movement of radical Muslims dedicated to killing as many people as they can and imposing their will on the rest.

And there is really only one way America can respond to this challenge. We need to kill them first. We need to kill them on a field of battle whose contours are determined not by the terrorists but by us. We need to kill them over there—in the Middle East—before they reach the West.

I realize that for at least the next two years what I propose is wishful thinking. American policy has reverted to a defensive condition in which Islamic terrorists set the terms of conflict. We have been here before. Until 2001, the United States treated Islamic terrorism as a matter of law enforcement. When our embassies were raided or bombed, when our barracks were destroyed, when our soldiers and sailors were murdered, when our World Trade Center was attacked, when our destroyer was damaged, we treated the assailants as members of an Arabic-speaking mafia, as criminals to be apprehended, tried, and punished.

Didn’t work. The jihad grew. It even found a base in Afghanistan, where it could equip and train and plot. In 2001, in a single fall morning, the World Trade Center was destroyed, the Pentagon bludgeoned, and more than 3,000 innocent people were killed.

America rethought its approach to terrorism. No longer were the terrorists considered felons. They were now unlawful combatants. Surveillance, interrogation, and detention policies became more aggressive. We invaded Afghanistan, we toppled the Taliban, and we sent al Qaeda leadership into hiding. Congress’ First Navy Seal: Obama’s Foreign Policy Supports Terrorism

Photo Credit: WNDBy Bill McMorris. Congress’ first Navy SEAL says that President Obama’s “reckless” foreign policy has emboldened Islamic terrorists to carry out deadly attacks in France and Australia.

Freshman Rep. Ryan Zinke (R., Mont.), a retired Navy commander, said that the administration’s handling of terrorist threats in the Middle East and the failure to combat the Islamic State (IS or ISIS) in Syria has left Western countries vulnerable to terrorist strikes.

“This administration’s inaction and lack of commitment and resolve in fighting ISIS provides fuel for terrorism. It gives them hope that they can win and it has ramifications worldwide,” he said in a phone interview with the Washington Free Beacon on Friday.

Zinke said that the terrorist attack on a French satirical newspaper that left 12 dead on Wednesday, as well as the ongoing hostage crisis at a Kosher supermarket in Paris, are the result of failing to combat radical Islam abroad. (Read more about what congress’ first navy seal said HERE)

More White House Extremism: Obama Admin. Now Says We Need to DEFEND Islam (+video)

Photo Credit: Getty Images On Thursday, White House press secretary Josh Earnest announced that the Obama administration would prioritize fighting Islamophobia in the aftermath of the terrorist attack on Charlie Hebdo in France. Never mind that most Westerners aren’t Islamophobic, but rather “Getting-Shot-In-The-Face-For-Expressing-My-Opinion” Phobic.

The real problem, according to the Obama administration, is lack of leadership in defending Islam:

There are some individuals that are using a peaceful religion and grossly distorting it, and trying to use its tenets to inspire people around the globe to carry out acts of violence. And we have enjoyed significant success in enlisting leaders in the Muslim community, like I said, both in the United States and around the world to condemn that kind of messaging, to condemn those efforts to radicalize individuals, and to be clear about what the tenets of Islam actually are. And we’re going to redouble those efforts in the days and weeks ahead.

This, of course, is not the first time the Obama administration has discovered a duty to illuminate the inherent beauty and wonder of Islam. Over and over again, the Obama administration, in high culturally imperialist dudgeon, has attempted to explain to the world the true meaning of Islam.

France: Worst Terror Attack in Recent History (+video)

By BBC.com. Gunmen have shot dead 12 people at the Paris office of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in an apparent militant Islamist attack.

Four of the magazine’s well-known cartoonists, including its editor, were among those killed, as well as two police officers.

A major police operation is under way to find three gunmen who fled by car.

President Francois Hollande said there was no doubt it had been a terrorist attack “of exceptional barbarity”. . .

The masked attackers opened fire with assault rifles in the office and exchanged shots with police in the street outside before escaping by car. They later abandoned the car in Rue de Meaux, northern Paris, where they hijacked a second car. (Read more about “Worst Terror Attack” HERE)

Vast Crowds Gather Across Europe to Protest French Massacre

By Stephanie Linning and Sian Boyle. As darkness fell across Europe, tens of thousands took to the streets to show their solidarity with those killed by gunmen at the offices of satirical French weekly Charlie Hebdo.

The scenes were replicated across France, in London and around the world with crowds holding placards bearing the slogan #JeSuisCharlie, which means ‘I am Charlie’ in French. Others were seen carrying enlarged versions of the some of the newspaper’s anti-Islamist cartoons.

Meanwhile the website of French newspaper Le Monde last night showed an interactive map of vigils being held across the world in Dublin, Edinburgh, Amsterdam, Brussels, Madrid, Rome, Berlin, Vienna, Moscow, and as far afield as Tunis, Lima, Rio de Janeiro and Madagascar.

In London, hundreds of people filled Trafalgar Square at a silent vigil for those killed when masked gunmen stormed the newspaper’s headquarters. Many held pens, pencils and notebooks in the air to show their support for the journalists, cartoonists and police officers who lost their lives.

The gatherings were held as French President Francoise Hollande declared tomorrow a day of national mourning tomorrow in respect for the victims of this morning’s attack. (Read more from this story HERE)

The Real Story on the Paris Massacre

By Steven Crowder. I’m sure that many of you have already read about this morning’s terrorist attack in Paris, killing twelve people. My thoughts and prayers are with the families and the people of France today.

It was carried out by Muslim terrorists against a satirical newspaper. That’s important to know. This wasn’t a senseless act of violence, but a pre-meditated one in the name of Allah. Yet again, this was an attack designed as a form of censorship through violence, carried out to scare all non-Muslims into silence.

No other religion does this.

It also disproves a common myth. As Americans, we’re often blamed for attacks on our own soil.

If American’s didn’t try to police the world, they wouldn’t hate us!

If we just tried to be more tolerant, Muslims wouldn’t have a reason to be mad at the U.S.!

Right. Well, what about France? The EU in general has been a beacon for multi-cultural tolerance across the globe. Sharia law has even slowly crept into many of their legal systems. I mean, how else can you slap your broad around? Granted, while France hasn’t exactly been as open-armed as England, they can hardly be seen as Team America: World Police. They’re certainly not the evil red, white and blue rednecks invading foreign countries, blowing up every brown person in sight. Because you know, that’s our thing.

Yet still, today in France, they die.

To humanity, there’s no possible justification for this. To Islamists, it already is.

The ideology of Islam is the enemy of humanity. Once you wade through the media circus today, that’s what it comes down to. France is not America. France is a tolerant, multicultural nation with an increasing demographic tilt toward Islam. Yet still, they are hated.

Evading the real issue at hand in the name of political correctness does a great disservice to not only those deceased, but to humanity.

Anytime we see a terrorist attack carried out in the name of Allah and we immediately ask their true motives… Muhammad did it first.

Suicide Bomber Attack Near Funeral, ISIS Believed to be Involved

By Associated Press. BAGHDAD – A government official says the death toll in a suicide bombing at a funeral north of Baghdad is now 15.

An Interior Ministry spokesman says the bomber blew himself up inside a funeral tent in a farming area outside the mainly Sunni town of Taji, about 12 miles north of Baghdad. He said another 26 mourners were wounded in the attack. (Read more about the suicide bomber attack HERE)

Nearly 200 Fighters Executed by ISIS For Trying to Return Home

By Ben Tufft. Isis has executed at least 120 of its own militants in the past three months, the majority of whom were foreign fighters trying to return home, according to a Syrian monitoring group.

The British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the brutal militant group killed the jihadists – most of whom were foreign fighters – for trying to flee the territory adding that the true number could be even higher.

Rami Abdurrahman, the director of the group, told The Independent: “We can confirm that 120 fighters have been killed by Isis, but from our sources on the ground we believe that over 200 have actually been killed.”

Of the 120 militants confirmed executed for “exceeding the limits in religion”, 116 are believed to be foreign fighters who wanted to return home. (Read more from this story HERE)

Taliban Claims America ‘Defeated’ in Afghanistan

Taliban insurgents in Afghanistan on Monday declared the “defeat” of the U.S. and its allies in the 13-year-old war, a day after the coalition officially marked the end of its combat mission.

Meanwhile, as the AP reports:

Thousands of Afghans are pouring into makeshift camps in the capital where they face a harsh winter as the Taliban return to areas once cleared by foreign forces, who this week are marking the end of their combat mission. (Read more from this story HERE)

New Islamic Terrorist Tactic: Little Girl Suicide Bombers

By Nicholas Kurch. The Nigerian terrorist group Boko Haram has ramped up attacks and is now using female children to carry out their mission to create an Islamic state in the region. One 13-year-old girl says she was given to Boko Haram by her father and was told, along with two other girls, to attack a textile factory in Kano, Nigeria’s second largest city.

“When I was told I would have to die to enter paradise, that I would have to explode a bomb and die, I said I cannot do it,” the 13-year-old girl said.

Two of the girls detonated their suicide-vests, killing 4 and injuring the girl. When it was the girl’s turn, she could not go through with the attack and turned herself in to police.

“I said no. I said I would not detonate,” the girl said.

The young girl said her father, who at the time of this writing is still at large, joined Boko Haram and gave her daughter to the organization to be used as the leaders saw fit. (Read more about Islam’s girl suicide bombers HERE)

Al-Qaida Calls For ‘Lone Wolf’ Attacks On Airliners

By Katie Frates. The article says the purpose of the attacks is to “crush the enemy’s economy,” and describes a lone wolf as “hard to uncover, because none knows him but Allah. He has no relationship with any group or any individuals.”

The terrorist organization identified American Airlines, United, Delta, British Airways, easyJet and Air France as the airlines to attack, Daily Mail reports. It also targeted Bill Gates and former Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke, although it describes Bernanke as the current chairman, even though he stepped down in February.

The magazine, published by Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, urges readers to take inspiration from Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the “underpants bomber” who attempted in 2009 to blow up a plane on Christmas. The attack failed when the bomb did not fully detonate, and he is now serving a life sentence in the U.S. It also praises Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, a suspect in the Boston Marathon Bombing in 2013 that killed three and injured over 200. State Dept Offering Millions to Recapture Terrorist Freed From Gitmo

On December 18, 2014, the State Department put Ibrahim al-Rubaysh, a senior leader of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, on a Specially Designated Global Terrorist watch list. Al-Rubaysh plays a key role in operational planning for the terrorist group and provides justification for their attacks. He’s also made public statements on more than one occasion calling for war against the United States. For these reasons, there’s been a $5 million reward offered since October for information that could lead to his capture.

The problem is not the terrorist per se, or the State Department’s decision to place him on the global watch list; it’s the fact that the U.S. already had him once—and let him go.

Judicial Watch explains:
“Hundreds of Gitmo terrorists have been discharged over the years under a program that started with President George W. Bush and continued full-throttle with this administration. Intelligence report after intelligence report has revealed that many rejoin terrorist missions after leaving the military prison. In fact, Judicial Watch has been reporting this for years. Back in 2010 JW wrote about a report that the Director of National Intelligence gave Congress documenting that 150 former Gitmo detainees were confirmed or suspected of “reengaging in terrorist or insurgent activities after transfer.” At least 83 remained at large, according to the document.”
