The Tide Is Turning: Prominent Christians Talk Effective Target and Bud Light Boycotts

Conservative consumers have finally figured out how to make their money talk when it comes to companies that peddle LGBT ideology including transgenderism, and Wall Street is taking notice.

Following backlash from the Right, retail giant Target said this week that it will remove some of its LGBT Pride merchandise aimed at both children and adults, including “tuck-friendly” women’s bathing suits, and designs from a company that sells satanic-themed LGBTQ+ clothing. The backtracking comes amid a devastating boycott against beer brand Bud Light over that company’s decision to team up with Dylan Mulvaney, a 26-year-old transgender activist who pretends to be a “girl” in online videos.

“We were sold a false bill of goods, that this was just gonna be kind of a live-and-let-live kind of libertarian approach to ordering our life together in society,” theologian and Christian Ethics Professor Andrew Walker told The Daily Wire of the LGBT movement.

“I think what we’re seeing is this kind of the metastasizing, outworking, and growth of the sexual revolution just doing what it’s naturally prone to do, which is to be all-consuming and to say that there are no limits whatsoever,” Walker said. “I believe in something like the natural law that every single person has some type of access to a general moral knowledge, and I think that that moral knowledge tells us that preying on children, sexualizing children is beyond the boundaries of a decent society. I think we’re seeing a reaction to that.”

Matt Fradd, Catholic apologist and host of the popular podcast “Pints with Aquinas,” told The Daily Wire that any group promoting the LGBT movement “ought not be patronized if there be another alternative.” (Read more from “The Tide Is Turning: Prominent Christians Talk Effective Target and Bud Light Boycotts” HERE)

Major Journal Retracts Study on ‘Socially Contagious’ Transgenderism Among Kids Following Activist Threats

Springer’s Archives of Sexual Behavior is retracting a major academic paper that explores the “socially contagious” aspect of youth transgenderism following threats from transgender activists, according to documents reviewed by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The paper, titled “Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria: Parent Reports on 1655 Possible Cases,” found that children who suddenly adopted transgender identities in adolescence skewed heavily female and frequently had preexisting mental health issues. The journal has claimed the retraction is due to researchers’ failure to obtain written informed consent from survey participants, but Dr. Michael Bailey, one of the study’s authors, disputes this explanation and believes the journal is caving to pressure from activists.

“These were parents concerned about their children, concerned enough to take a not-brief survey about the issues. Why would they do this if they didn’t think the information would somehow be made available?” Bailey told the DCNF. He shared a screenshot of the survey which told parents explicitly that their answers would be published and used for research.

“Thank you for taking the time to complete our survey,” the survey read, according to the screenshot. “Your answers will help us gain a better understanding of which children are more vulnerable to Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria and what we can do to help them better. We will publish our data on our website when we have a large enough sample to make our results significant.” (Read more from “Major Journal Retracts Study on ‘Socially Contagious’ Transgenderism Among Kids Following Activist Threats” HERE)

The North Face Debuts ‘Summer of Pride’ With Campy Drag Video Amid Ongoing Bud Light, Target Backlash

The video promo boasted that the event “Summer of Pride” would include “hiking, community, art, lesbians” and “lesbians making art.” The company sponsored the same event last summer in multiple cities.

Calvin Klein Ad of Trans Man Wearing a Bra Goes Viral as Twitter Wonders if Company Is the Next Bud Light

A 2022 Calvin Klein ad featuring Bappie Kortram, a trans man in a sports bra who had not had top surgery at the time of the photo, has gone viral and left some wondering if the company could be facing the trouble that Budweiser endured after the Dylan Mulvaney controversy.

Responding to the Calvin Klein Pride 2022 Campaign, Dr. Anastasia Maria Loupis tweeted out the image, insisting, “Calvin Klein wants to go broke.”

User Aida Reva echoed this sentiment, adding, “What a great way to ‘Bud Light’ themselves. Eliseu Mateus wondered, “Calvin Klein used to be in the design and beauty business. Still in that business?”

Writing about the model in question, the Daily Mail noted, “Bappie, who is from the Netherlands, is represented by a number of modelling agencies around the world including British Zebedee Talent, who describe him as ‘a trans man who has not had top surgery yet.'” (Read more from “Calvin Klein Ad of Trans Man Wearing a Bra Goes Viral as Twitter Wonders if Company Is the Next Bud Light” HERE)

GOP Senator Joins Democrats to Kill Bill That Would Have Prohibited Performing Gender Transitions on Minors

Louisiana state Sen. Fred Mills joined with Democrats to kill a bill that would have prohibited health care professionals from providing gender transition measures, such as hormones, puberty blockers, and surgeries, to minors.

A state Senate committee reportedly voted 5-4 to kill the measure, with Mills siding with Democrats in the vote.

Reports quoted the politician saying that he believes a choice should be made by a patient and a doctor.

Mills, who was previously a Democrat before becoming a Republican, is a pharmacy owner.

“Fred Mills has sided with the butchers and groomers. He will regret it. This is the biggest mistake of his political career, and also the end of his career. He’s going to be infamous and disgraced by his own base. We’ll make sure of that,” conservative commentator Matt Walsh of the Daily Wire tweeted. ‘America Looks Weak’: Long-Serving State Department Official Speaks Out After Pronoun Fiasco (VIDEO)

Last week, State Department employees’ email name displays were assigned involuntary, and in some instances incorrect, pronouns. A long-serving State Department official, who has been granted anonymity due to the legitimate fear of government retribution, provided The Federalist a look into the internal reaction to the department’s pronoun fiasco. . .

News of the involuntary pronouns was publicized by Associated Press reporter Matt Lee, who asked deputy State Department spokesman Vedant Patel during a press conference why the pronouns are not optional, particularly because the department is assigning incorrect ones.

Patel, who appeared unaware of the newly assigned pronouns, was visibly displeased by the line of questioning, dismissively telling Lee, “Thank you, Matt,” and adding, “I will look into this … Thanks, everybody. Happy Thursday.”

Later, State Department Chief Information Officer Kelly E. Fletcher sent out an email to all personnel, stating that the pronoun feature was a “test” that “inadvertently went live.” Fletcher also offered professional counseling services for those “who [feel] hurt or upset as a result of this unfortunate mistake.” . . .

According to The Federalist’s source, many of the bureaus’ diversity czars also weighed in. The department official said each bureau, of which there are dozens within the State Department responsible for various policy initiatives, is required to have a full-time diversity officer. This is in addition to the State Department’s chief diversity officer. (Read more from “‘America Looks Weak’: Long-Serving State Department Official Speaks Out After Pronoun Fiasco (VIDEO)” HERE)

Lizzo Pushes Transgenderism on Children During Concert

Pop megastar Lizzo got political during a recent concert in Omaha, denouncing Nebraska’s law protecting children from transgender medical procedures that Republican Gov. Jim Pillen recently signed into law.

Addressing the children in the audience, Lizzo said, ‘These laws aren’t real. You are what’s real.”

Lizzo was performing Friday at the CHI Health Center Arena in Omaha when she launched into her political speech.

“Anybody who comes to a Lizzo show should know that I am for people to have the right to healthcare — reproductive and gender affirming,” the singer said, using the left’s euphemism for sex-change surgery, hormone therapy, puberty blockers, and other controversial medical procedures.

“There’s times I get very political and as adults, we feel it. But there’s children here tonight. And it really breaks my heart that there are young people growing up in a world that doesn’t protect them. So let me be your safe space tonight. Don’t let anybody tell you who you are. Don’t let any law tell you who you [sic] not, you are who you are, okay?” (Read more from “Lizzo Pushes Transgenderism on Children During Concert” HERE)

Report: ‘Woke’ Fox News Imposes Transgenderism on Workforce

Fox News quietly enforces woke pro-transgender workplace policies on its employees, even while it poses as a critical source of news about transgenderism, says a report at the Daily Signal.

The May 22 report cites the company’s handbook for employees, saying that “transgender” rights require that all other employees accept sex-switching claims without any “transphobic” disagreement, complaints, or appeals to science:

Under the category “Gender Transition,” Fox’s employee handbook promises that the company is dedicated to “expanding and strengthening” efforts to “sustain a more inclusive work environment.” The Fox employee handbook is posted on Workday, where employees can see company guidelines or policies, a former employee told The Daily Signal.

“Employees who are transitioning their gender have the right to be open about their transition if they so choose, and to work in an environment free of harassment, discrimination, or retaliation, and without fear of consequences or transphobia for living openly,” the policy says.

Pulitzer Prize Goes to Queer Troll Author: ‘Sissy Porn Did Make Me Trans,’ ‘Getting F**Ked Makes You Female’

The Pulitzer Prizes embraced the transgender agenda in a major way this year by awarding transgender “woman” Andrea Long Chu with the prize for criticism, recognizing “her” book reviews that have appeared in Vox Media-owned New York magazine and its site, Vulture.

But since the awards were announced this month, Chu’s win has spawned a growing backlash among women who have expressed both bewilderment and disgust, especially over Chu’s past writings in which he has claimed that anyone can be a woman and and described how pornography addiction led to his desire to become a “woman.”

“Sissy porn did make me trans,” Chu once wrote. . .

For starters, Chu is a heterosexual man who identifies as a woman, though he has called himself a “trans lesbian.” By one account, the Duke University and NYU graduate’s birth name was Andrew. Even before joining New York magazine in 2021, he was a darling of the cultural elite due to this essays on feminism and gender transitioning.

He received wide acclaim for his 2019 book Females in which he delves into detail about what kinds of porn he likes to masturbate to. One of his favorite genres is “sissy porn,” which involves men wearing women’s underwear and being forced into submissive or feminine roles. Top Athlete Urges Congress to Pass Bill Defining ‘Woman’

Riley Gaines, a former top college athlete, called on Congress on Wednesday to pass the “Women’s Bill of Rights,” which would clarify that the term “woman” is based on biology rather than personal identity when it appears in federal law.

The bill, led by Rep. Debbie Lesko (R-AZ) and cosponsored by about two dozen other Republicans, would codify the meanings of several of these sex-based terms, including “sex,” “woman,” “man,” “girl,” “boy,” “mother,” and “father.”

“This is crucial to ensure that women, we’re entitled to our privacy and our safety and our fairness and our equal opportunity,” Gaines said, adding, “I’m speaking for so much more than just myself.”

Gaines, a decorated swimmer who now serves as an Independent Women’s Voice spokeswoman, gained national attention last year after tying down to the hundredth of a second with Lia Thomas, a man, in an NCAA women’s national swimming championship event.
