Christian Parents Launch Legal Fight Over School’s Extreme Trans Policy

Christian parents Nigel and Sally Rowe have launched a legal fight against the government in the United Kingdom over the way it has failed to protect their children from the school system’s transgender agenda.

Supported by the Christian Legal Center, Nigel, 48, and his wife Sally, 46, are seeking a judge’s review of the Department for Education’s refusal to intervene in their case and its promotion of what lawyers describe as the “politically partisan” Cornwall Schools Transgender Guidelines.

The standards were published in 2015 by activists promoting the transgender ideology, but their legitimacy has risen because of endorsement by the Department of Education.

The Rowes, from the Isle of Wight, had been given the choice by the Church of England school their sons were attending either to affirm transgenderism or be labeled “transphobic.”

They eventually were forced out the school, and now are homeschooling. (Read more from “Christian Parents Launch Legal Fight Over School’s Extreme Trans Policy” HERE)

Assistant Health Secretary Is First Transgender Four-Star Officer

Assistant Health Secretary Rachel Levine made history Tuesday by becoming the first openly transgender four-star officer in America’s eight uniformed services.

Levine, 63, was ceremonially sworn in as an admiral in the US Public Health Service Commissioned Corps by Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced. . .

President Biden nominated Levine as assistant secretary for health in February of this year and [he] was narrowly confirmed by the Senate the following month. [He] is the first transgender person to hold an office that requires Senate confirmation.

Levine had previously spent three-and-a-half years as Pennsylvania’s health secretary, where [he] oversaw the Keystone State’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. During [his] confirmation process, Levine was criticized by some Republicans for being in charge when her department ordered COVID-19 patients to be readmitted to nursing homes — similar to the scandal that enveloped the administration of former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. (Read more from “Assistant Health Secretary Is First Transgender Four-Star Officer” HERE)

Netflix Has Fired Trans Employee Who Led Walkout Over Chapelle Special, Allegedly Leaked Data

. . .Netflix’s “Dave Chappelle: The Closer” triggered trans employees enough at Netflix that they took part in a walkout. The employee who led the walkout has since been fired, as they also allegedly leaked data.

The fired employee, who is Black and currently pregnant and did not wish to be named, declined comment for The Verge. Another Netflix employee, however, did speak to the outlet. As Zoe Schiffler reported:

“All these white people are going around talking to the press and speaking publicly on Twitter and the only person who gets fired is the Black person who was quiet the entire time,” says a former employee in an interview with The Verge. “That’s absurd, and just further shows that Black trans people are the ones being targeted in this conversation.”

Schiffler referenced how metrics ended up in reporting with Bloomberg. That report in question, by Lucas Shaw from October 13, notes specifics about the reach and profitability of Chapelle’s specials. Shaw also writes:

Netflix shares lots of company data, including salaries and quarterly results, with employees as part of its culture of freedom and responsibility. It does so on the condition that those employees don’t share financial results or the performance of individual titles with the public. But the Chappelle special has prompted leaks unprecedented in the company’s history.

Netflix Suspends Trans Employee Who Criticized Chappelle Special, Crashed Business Meeting

Netflix suspended three employees, including a transgender staffer who spoke out against comedian Dave Chappelle’s recent Netflix special, for reportedly crashing a business meeting they were not permitted to attend.

Netflix suspended the three employees and has launched an investigation into them for allegedly attending a quarterly business review meeting that invited only directors and vice presidents, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Senior software engineer Tara Field, who is transgender, is among the three who were suspended. She had also spoken out about Chappelle’s “The Closer” special, which addressed the trans community after the comedian faced years of backlash and claims he is “transphobic.”

“I work at @netflix. Yesterday we launched another Chappelle special where he attacks the trans community, and the very validity of transness – all while trying to pit us against other marginalized groups. You’re going to hear a lot of talk about ‘offense’. We are not offended,” Field said in one tweet on the special last week, which is pinned on her Twitter account. Father: School Hid Daughter’s Bathroom Assault by Boy Wearing Skirt

A father is claiming the Loudoun County school district attempted to cover up his daughter’s alleged assault in the girls’ bathroom at Stone Bridge High School by a boy wearing a skirt.

Scott Smith was arrested in June at a school in Loudoun County, Virginia, during a board meeting at which hundreds of parents voiced concerns about the district’s transgender policy and Critical Race Theory (CRT).

A month earlier, the Daily Wire reported, Smith claimed a boy who was wearing a skirt had entered the girls’ bathroom at the high school and sexually assaulted his ninth-grade daughter.

According to the report, Smith’s attorney, Elizabeth Lancaster, said the boy was charged with two counts of forcible sodomy, one count of anal sodomy, and one count of forcible fellatio that day at school. (Read more from “Father: School Hid Daughter’s Bathroom Assault by Boy Wearing Skirt” HERE)

WATCH: Lieutenant Gov Under Fire After Terming Homosexuality as ‘Filth’

North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson is facing calls to resign after a video emerged of him calling “transgenderism” and homosexuality “filth.”

Robinson, a Republican, said students should not be taught about “transgenderism, homosexuality, any of that filth” in classrooms, prompting calls for his resignation as administrators and parents battle over the oversight of school curricula.

“There’s no reason anybody, anywhere in America should be telling children about transgenderism, homosexuality, any of that filth,” Robinson said in the video, which was filmed in June at Asbury Baptist Church. “And yes, I called it filth.”

The White House, as well as gay and transgender rights groups, condemned his words and called for him to resign.

“These words are repugnant and offensive,” White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates, who is a native of North Carolina, said, according to multiple outlets. “The role of a leader is to bring people together and stand up for the dignity and rights of everyone, not to spread hate and undermine their own office.” (Read more from “WATCH: Lieutenant Gov Under Fire After Terming Homosexuality as ‘Filth'” HERE)

ACLU Edits Women Out of Disgusting Pro-Abortion Quote To Make It More Trans Inclusive

The executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union apologized for a tweet that edited out women of a pro-abortion quote from late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg to make it more transgender inclusive.

The ACLU was ridiculed and mocked on social media after it posted the mutilated quote on its Twitter account last week.

Executive director Anthony Romero told the New York Times in an interview Monday that the organization regretted sending out the tweet.

“We won’t be altering people’s quotes,” Romero said. “It was a mistake among the digital team. Changing quotes is not something we ever did.”

He went on to defend the political motivation behind the edited quote by affirming that transgender people also need the right to abortions.

State Sues Biden Administration Over Federal Transgender Guidance

Texas is suing the Biden administration to invalidate a federal civil rights directive on pronoun usage and bathroom access in the workplace.

The challenge is to an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission advisory that says employers must let LGBT workers access the bathrooms of their choice. The EEOC warned in the same advisory that failure to use a worker’s preferred pronouns could amount to unlawful harassment. The document is based on the Supreme Court’s landmark gay rights decision, Bostock v. Clayton County.

In Bostock, the Supreme Court said it is illegal under federal law to fire someone for being gay or transgender. President Joe Biden signed an executive order committing to a whole-of-government implementation of the Bostock decision on his first day in office. The order intends to guarantee civil rights protections for LGBT people in a wide range of contexts, from housing to refugee resettlement. The order put the administration on a collision course with red state dissenters on issues like bathroom access and women’s sports.

Texas says the EEOC’s directive goes well beyond the Court’s holding in Bostock and violates the First Amendment to the extent it forces workers to use a person’s preferred pronouns.

“States should be able to choose protection of privacy for their employers over subjective views of gender, and this illegal guidance puts many women and children at risk,” Texas attorney general Ken Paxton said in a statement. “These backdoor attempts to force businesses, including the state of Texas, to align with [EEOC’s] beliefs is unacceptable.” (Read more from “State Sues Biden Administration Over Federal Transgender Guidance” HERE)

College: ‘Action Could Be Taken’ Against Students Who Fail To Use Others’ Preferred Pronouns

A Pittsburgh college told its students that “action could be taken” against them if they fail to use others’ preferred pronouns, Campus Reform reported.

The outlet said it obtained a Sept. 13 email from Point Park University’s Office of Equity and Inclusion to the student body outlining the college’s anti-discrimination policy for the 2021-2022 academic year.

The email was meant to inform readers about PPU’s “Preferred Name Policy” as well as rules regarding “misgendering, pronoun misuse, and deadnaming (the use of a person’s legal ‘dead’ name instead of using the person’s chosen or preferred name), as well as resources on microaggressions and additional training,” Campus Reform said.

The college’s Preferred Name Policy allows students and faculty members to use their preferred names when legal names aren’t required, the outlet said, adding that its Misgendering, Pronoun Misuse, and Deadnaming Policy states that “any individual who has been informed of another person’s gender identity, pronouns, or chosen name is expected to respect that individual.”

And if a complaint is filed against alleged violators, “action could be taken,” the email says, according to Campus Reform. (Read more from “College: ‘Action Could Be Taken’ Against Students Who Fail To Use Others’ Preferred Pronouns” HERE)

First Openly Transgender Bishop Installed in Evangelical Lutheran Church

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America has installed their first openly transgender bishop, the Associated Press reported.

The church elected Rev. Megan Rohrer to serve a six-year term as bishop in May, replacing a bishop who retired.

Rohrer, who uses the pronoun “they,” will lead one of the church’s 65 synods, overseeing 200 congregations in the California and Nevada regions, according to the AP.

“I step into this role because a diverse community of Lutherans in Northern California and Nevada prayerfully and thoughtfully voted to do a historic thing,” Rohrer said in a statement. “My installation will celebrate all that is possible when we trust God to shepherd us forward.” (Read more from “First Openly Transgender Bishop Installed in Evangelical Lutheran Church” HERE)
