Rep. Sarah McBride (D-DE), the first transgender member elected to the United States Congress, believes it is dumb and “ridiculous” to formally change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America.

McBride made the remarks on Thursday ahead of the House formally passing Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) measure to codify President Donald Trump’s executive order.

“We are on our way to the House floor to vote on what is possibly the dumbest bill we could be spending our time on: Legislation to change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. This is ridiculous,” McBride — a biological man who believes his claim to womanhood is legitimate — said of the simple name change.

“And look, you might think that we’re doing this because it’s another opportunity for House Republicans to be sycophantic to the man in the White House,” McBride said, contending that Republicans are focusing on the name change to distract from their polices at a time when he claimed “Donald Trump’s reckless and erratic tariff policy is crashing the economy.”

“Changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico — in this economy? What the hell are we doing here?” McBride, who — ironically — changed his own name from Tim to Sarah, added.

The battle over women’s sports came to a head for women’s fencing on Wednesday in a heated congressional hearing where female fencer Stephanie Turner took questions alongside USA Fencing Chairman Damien Lehfeldt, who doubled down on allowing trans-identifying men.

Lehfeldt was subpoenaed to appear before the House Oversight Committee’s DOGE subcommittee for the hearing titled, “Unfair Play: Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports.”

Turner was disqualified from a Maryland tournament in March for taking a knee and refusing to compete against a trans-identifying male opponent. She ultimately stepped away from fencing altogether.

“It took me nearly three years to get up the courage to come out publicly,” Turner told lawmakers at the hearing. “That knee I took in protest was a cry for help and an act of desperation.”

Turner also explained how biological sex impacts performance in fencing, reminding lawmakers that it is a “combat sport.”

Trump Mocks Trans Athletes in Women’s Sports to Roaring Applause at Commencement

President Donald Trump stirred the hearts of the University of Alabama graduates when he reaffirmed his promise to “keep men out of women’s sports.”

During a commencement speech at the university’s graduation ceremony on Thursday night, Trump gave a shutout to the school’s SEC champion women’s track and field team before igniting a raucous applause by “vowing to defend women’s sports.”

“As long as I’m president, we will always protect women’s sports. Men will not play in women’s sports,” Trump said before the crowd erupted in cheers for its loudest and longest applause of the night.

“No way. They say it’s an 80-20 issue. No, it’s a 97-3 issue, I think,” Trump said. “No, men will not be playing in women’s sports. I said that, and I classified it with a very powerful executive order, as you know. It’s done.”

Parents Who Don’t Want Their Children Mutilated Are Under Assault In Colorado

What happens when your ex-wife wants to convince your 12-year-old daughter that she isn’t really a girl? In the state of Colorado, if you don’t “affirm” that made-up gender identity, the state will start to take your child away from you.

That’s what is happening to father Robert Hernandez, whose ex-wife Abigail Sanderson has allegedly been working with a groomer school therapist to pursue the new “non-binary” gender status of their daughter. Sanderson has also been successful at using the Colorado court system and its current laws to begin stripping Hernandez of his rights to be a father to his own daughter.

“I’ve kind of faced the extent of the repercussions here — for me, every other weekend is honestly no different from not having it all,” Hernandez told The Federalist on Friday after Colorado magistrate Nicholas Campbell decided to cut his time with his daughter because he raised questions about the social transition regime Jefferson County Public Schools (Jeffco) and Sanderson have implemented for the pre-teen girl.

As The Federalist has reported, a “social transition” — changing names and pronouns, as well as using facilities like restrooms designated for the opposite sex — is a dangerous gateway toward children eventually taking chemical castration drugs to keep “transitioning,” eventually leading to mutilation surgeries. Schools have become an incubator for this kind of behavior, setting up a transition pipeline with the influence of teachers and counselors.

While Hernandez’s daughter, who currently goes by a different name, told him she would never “hurt herself” in that way, “social transitions,” are powerful tools used to convince children that mutilation will make them feel more comfortable. State’s Demand to Have Boys in Girls’ Sports Escalates

President Donald Trump has fought to protect girls and women in their sporting events, as leftists try to flood the competitions with boys and men who say they are female.

One state has refused to go along with the president’s executive orders, and now is facing an escalated fight because of the agenda demanded by its governor, Janet Mills, a Democrat who publicly defied the president, threatening that she would see him in court.

Earlier, a variety of federal funding programs for the state were blocked by the president, and now the Washington Stand reports the Trump administration has taken legal action to cut off K-12 funding for the state.

It’s over the state’s promotion of transgender agenda points, in which boys and men are allowed in sports created for females.

The report explained, “The Department of Education announced last Friday that it had initiated an administrative proceeding to terminate all K-12 funding to the Maine Department of Education, ‘including formula and discretionary grants,’ over Title IX violations by allowing males who identify as female to compete against and change in front of girls.” (Read more from “State’s Demand to Have Boys in Girls’ Sports Escalates” HERE)

Trump Launches Investigation Into Colleges Over Transgender Fencing Scandal

A special administration task force formed by President Donald Trump has launched investigations into the University of Maryland and Wagner College after they failed to protect a female athlete penalized for refusing to compete against a male who identifies as a female, The Daily Wire can first report.

The Title IX Special Investigations Team — a joint Education Department and Justice Department project — launched a directed investigation Monday into the University of Maryland over allegations that it not only allowed a male athlete to compete in the women’s category of the USA Fencing Tournament, but also allowed that male athlete to use women’s-only intimate facilities.

The Special Investigations Team is also investigating Wagner College for its own practices and polices that allegedly allowed that male to compete in female sports and to use female intimate spaces.

Both colleges received letters from the Title IX Special Investigations Team on Monday, The Daily Wire has learned.

Officials black-carded and booted 31-year-old Stephanie Turner from a tournament at the University of Maryland for refusing to compete against Redmond Sullivan, a male who identifies as a woman and who formerly competed against males. USA Fencing allowed Sullivan, who competes for Wagner College, to compete in the women’s tournament, the organization confirmed to The Daily Wire. High School Girl Says She Was ‘Replaced’ by Male Athlete on Girls’ Track Team: ‘This Is Reality’

A female athlete said she was replaced on the girls’ track and field team by a male who was not held to the same standard as the young women.

Taylor Starling from the Martin Luther King High School in California made headlines in November 2024 when she revealed her athletic director claimed her pro-women T-shirt was akin to wearing a swastika around a Jewish student. The shirt said “Save Girls’ Sports” on the front and “It’s Common Sense. XX ≠ XY” on the back.

Starling spoke at a California State Assembly meeting recently and told state legislators that she was “replaced” on the female team by a male transfer student, who did not have to attend practice.

“I was removed from my varsity girls’ team and replaced by a newly eligible male transfer student who received favorable treatment,” the 16-year-old claimed.

“In late October, the male transfer student was given my spot after not being held to the same strict team requirements as me and the rest of the girls,” Starling continued. “He did not have to attend practice while my team and I were running seven miles a day together. Colorado Father Fights To Keep Government From Sterilizing His 14-Year-Old Son

After raising concerns about his then-13-year-old son taking puberty blockers and starting on a path to irreversible, experimental, and life-long medical interventions to “transition” into a girl, the Colorado government stripped father Robert Cameron of all rights to protect his child.

Colorado was able to do that because the child’s mother and Cameron’s ex-wife, Nancy Drake, used Colorado’s “affirmation only” legal structure to wage a war against Cameron through the courts. Drake, who joined forces with an activist therapist, has been able to use government force to push the now-14-year-old boy into the transition interventions which, if pursued in full, have the power to sterilize, reduce brain development, and cause bone density issues, among a host of other gruesome effects.

“My child is more important to me than whatever the court system may do to me. If my child needs to be saved, it’s my job as a parent to save him, and he needs to be saved right now. He needs to be saved from predation and manipulation,” Cameron told The Federalist. “I haven’t slept well in forever because I’m afraid for my child. I also see the adults preying on this child’s innocence. This all falls under the sexualization of children that we are engaging in as a society. That’s absolutely appalling. And I’m not even talking about the medical experiments we’re doing on children.”

In order to protect the identity of the minor child, The Federalist has given his parents pseudonyms, and removed other information that could lead to identifying him.

Cameron’s primary goal is to have his son be able to wait until he is 18 to make the decision, but Drake, who appears to have trigger-happy, extraordinarily litigious lawyers behind her, need the transition to start now, no questions asked — literally. Kash Drops Trans School Shooter’s Manifesto—Now We Know Why They Buried It

There’s no shortage of unsolved mysteries when it comes to our seedy government and intel agencies. The Epstein files are the big one—still locked up tight, and who knows if we’ll ever get the truth, right? But beyond the obvious coverups, there have been plenty of smaller ones, the kind the fake news media and the Left quietly sweep under the rug hoping nobody notices. One of those is the mass shooting at a Christian school in Nashville, carried out by a violent, mentally ill trans shooter. Right after the attack, many called it a hate crime against Christians—but the media downplayed it, local officials brushed it off, and the White House even tried to spin the shooter as the real victim. . .

Now, thanks to our new FBI Director Kash Patel, we’re finally getting a look at what they tried so hard to bury. Kash just released over 1,000 pages of the trans school shooter’s writings to Megyn Kelly and Congress—and what’s inside is absolutely bone-chilling.

The manifesto, which was written by trans mass shooter Audrey Hale, confirms what we already figured: this was a radical, mentally unhinged leftist who openly hated white people, Christians, America, and her own body. The FBI and Nashville PD conveniently left this out of their report. Why would they do that? Because it didn’t fit their “trans are victims” narrative.

In the pages, Hale described herself as a “violent extremist” obsessed with hatred, destruction, and death. Her writings included lines like:

“Kill all the white kids. Kill my own race.”
“Female pronouns make me feel like I wanna die.”
“I have to kill so I can be remembered in the most horrific way possible.”

These aren’t just random ramblings. They reflect the growing radicalism within the trans movement—a movement that’s riddled with mental illness and embraces liberals who treat violence like virtue and mental instability as an identity.

Surprise: The Thing That Trans Activists Tell Us Basically Never Happens…Just Happened Again

When Americans across the political spectrum take the overwhelming and common-sense position of opposing the participation of biological males in female sports, radical trans activists and their supporters respond in an alienating and self-destructive manner. They attack that mainstream stance as bigotry, which is quite a choice, considering that they are on the wrong side of an 80/20 issue — and they also argue that the issue of trans athletes doesn’t really affect very many people because the trans population is so small. But wouldn’t you know it? Biological males who insist on competing against biological females continue to rack up illegitimate victories over girls and women. What we are told is a vanishingly and irrelevantly rare occurrence just keeps happening. The latest example:

A transgender athlete took home first place in a varsity high jump competition at an Oregon high school meet Wednesday, roughly two years after finishing last while competing against junior varsity boys, according to a report. Lia Rose, who reportedly used to compete as Zachary, won the high jump at the Portland Interscholastic League Varsity Relays with a height of 4 feet, 8 inches, beating the second-place finisher by two inches. According to athletic.net, while competing against JV boys May 3, 2023, Zachary Rose finished 11th out of 11 competitors with a jump of 4 feet, 6 inches. The winning height in that meet was another foot higher…Lia’s victory comes roughly two weeks after Ada Gallagher, a trans track athlete in the Portland area, blew out the competition. Gallagher, a state champion last year, finished at 57.62 in the 400 meters, with Franklin High School’s Kinnaly Souphanthong coming in second at 1:05.72. Gallagher’s teammate, Quinnan Schaefer, was behind Souphanthong at 1:07.13.
