Study: Transgender Athletes Have Advantages in Women’s Sports

A recent study has shown that biological males identifying as transgender women, still retained considerable advantages over biological females in strength and muscle mass, even after a full year of hormone therapy.

The study, conducted by the the Karolinska Institute — a medical university in Sweden — and Linkoping University, a university in Sweden, showed that the biological males (transgender women) who took a full year of hormone therapy, still had muscle mass and strength advantages.

The researchers posted their conclusion: “Despite the robust increases in muscle mass and strength in TM, the TW were still stronger and had more muscle mass following 12months of treatment. These findings add new knowledge that could be relevant when evaluating transwomen’s eligibility to compete in the women’s category of athletic competitions.” . . .

The results of the study, which are still undergoing the peer review process, will prove crucial for the burgeoning movement to protect the rights of biological females in women’s sports. It also will pose new problems for the NCAA, who currently requires biological males to undergo a full year of hormone therapy prior to competing in women’s sports.

However, since the study shows that those biological males will retain considerable strength advantages over women despite the full year of hormone therapy, female athletes will have grounds to file a Title IX discrimination complaint to protest the inclusion of transgender women in their sports. New Data: Transgender Puberty Blocking Drug Linked to Thousands of Deaths

More than 6,300 adults have died from reactions to a drug that is used as a puberty blocker in gender-confused children, Food & Drug Administration data reportedly shows.

“Between 2012 and June 30 of this year, the FDA documented over 40,764 adverse reactions suffered by patients who took Leuprolide Acetate (Lupron), which is used as a hormone blocker. More than 25,500 reactions logged from 2014-2019 were considered ‘serious,’ including 6,370 deaths,” The Christian Post reported on Thursday.

“Lupron is being prescribed off-label for use in children who have been diagnosed with gender dysphoria despite the lack of formal FDA approval for that purpose,” the outlet explained. “The drug is clinically approved for treatment of precocious puberty, a condition where children start their pubertal processes at an abnormally early age and the blocker is administered for a short time until the proper age.”

Michael Laidlaw, a California-based endocrinologist who exposed in April that doctors are giving testosterone to gender-confused girls as young as eight years old, questioned why a physiological disorder like gender dysphoria would be treated with such drugs, instead of “proper psychological care.”

“Gender dysphoria is not an endocrine condition, but is a psychological one and should, therefore, be treated with proper psychological care,” he said, according to The Christian Post. “But it becomes an endocrine condition once you start using puberty blockers and giving cross-sex hormones to kids.” (Read more from “New Data: Transgender Puberty Blocking Drug Linked to Thousands of Deaths” HERE)

International Olympic Committee Delays Transgender Rules

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has pulled back on implementing its new rules for transgender athletes after scientists could not agree on the basic ideas in the rules.

The IOC had hoped that their scientific advisors could agree to halve the permitted levels of testosterone in transgender athletes, but the experts could not agree, according to the Guardian.

The current guidelines issued in 2015 maintain that men claiming to be transgender women can compete in the female categories even if they have not completed the transformational surgery only if their testosterone level measures below 10 nanomoles per liter for at least 12 months before competing.

While some of the IOC’s experts insisted that the current requirements could be lowered further without creating an unfair playing field, others are pointing to recent research which claims that testosterone levels really have little effect on a transgender woman’s biologically male muscle strength. Transgender Who Gave Birth Loses Legal Fight to Be Listed as ‘Father’ on Birth Certificate

A transgender [“man”] from the U.K. will not be permitted to list [herself] as “father” on [her] child’s birth certificate. . .

The U.K. High Court ruled on Wednesday that McConnell would not be registered as the child’s father, and would remain the child’s mother according to the official birth certificate.

McConnell, 32, sought to change the designation on the legal document after a registrar told him that current law “required people who give birth to be registered as mothers” on certificates, according to CNN. A lengthy battle ensued as a result of McConnell’s desire to change his designation from “mother” to father.”

Andrew McFarlane, who is president of the High Court’s family division, said that being a “mother” refers to the biologically carrying and delivery of a child.

“Being a ‘mother,’ whilst hitherto always associated with being female, is the status afforded to a person who undergoes the physical and biological process of carrying a pregnancy and giving birth,” McFarlane said, insisting that there is a “material difference between a person’s gender and their status as a parent.” (Read more from “Transgender Who Gave Birth Loses Legal Fight to Be Listed as ‘Father’ on Birth Certificate” HERE)

Olympian Says Trans Women Will Break Every Female Sports Record If They’re Allowed to Compete

Every woman’s record in sports “will fall” if male athletes who identify as transgender women are allowed to compete in female sports, former Olympic athlete Rebecca Dussault said in an interview with the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Forcing female athletes to compete against biological males will have a devastating effect on girls’ and women’s sports, which will in turn have a devastating effect on girls and women, Dussault, a skier, told the DCNF over the phone.

Her warning isn’t a hypothetical: Male athletes who identify as transgender have been piling up victories where allowed to compete in female events. Democrats in Congress and on the campaign have rallied behind the Equality Act, which would require schools to allow biologically male athletes into girls’ sports, if the male athletes identify as transgender.

“Once a male body has gone through puberty, they have received the benefits. So the skeletal form, lung capacity, muscle density, the greater length of levers in their body, their muscle-to-weight ratio, their capacity to deal with dehydration much better, narrower hips, I mean you name it — they are physiologically designed differently than women,” she said.

In addition to competing in the Olympics, Dussault won multiple world championships and runs a fitness training business with global reach from her home in Idaho. (Read more from “Olympian Says Trans Women Will Break Every Female Sports Record If They’re Allowed to Compete” HERE)

Biological Woman Who Identifies as ‘Queer Male’ Says Desire to Get Pregnant Hit Only After Hormone-Aided Transition to ‘Male’

In order to “engender empathy and understanding for people whose stories veer from the traditional, societally enforced narratives,” online magazine Mother told the story of Spencer Dezart-Smith and husband Kelly Dezart-Smith, both of whom identify as queer.

Thing is, Spencer is transgender and underwent hormone therapy and a double mastectomy over a decade ago and has “presented as 100% male ever since,” the magazine said, adding that Spencer specifically “identifies as a queer male.” . . .

Spencer told the magazine getting pregnant wasn’t under consideration prior to gender transitioning, but “now that I felt so strong in my male identity and was being read as male exclusively, I was able to view my ability to carry a child as a super power that I was blessed to have. It was like the innately female ability to bear a child didn’t overpower the certainty I felt in my male identity. The two things could coexist without one cancelling out the other.” . . .

"I have always wanted to be a parent. I think when I was dating women as a woman I didn’t want to be the gestational parent but I still wanted very much to have a family. I couldn’t imagine the idea of carrying a child. The whole thing felt way too feminine to me. I think I was trying so hard to reject the feminine parts of myself that I couldn’t even entertain the thought. Strangely enough, after my transition I began to change my perspective. Now that I felt so strong in my male identity and was being read as male exclusively, I was able to view my ability to carry a child as a super power that I was blessed to have. It was like the innately female ability to bear a child didn’t overpower the certainty I felt in my male identity. The two things could coexist without one cancelling out the other." -Spencer Dezart-Smith, a pregnant father-to-be, who is sharing his journey on #mothermag (📷: @peter_ds)

Spencer had to stop hormone treatment that offered “confidence and security of his identity” and proved “at times excruciatingly difficult,” Mother added.

"To be honest, I didn’t always want to be a parent. I’m pretty radical in my thinking and thought for a long time that children and marriage supported patriarchal systems. I now realize that the system was also designed to make me think that I wasn’t worthy of raising children or being married. The system made me think of myself as unfit for either of those conventions. But the reality is, I can be radical in my thinking, want to dismantle the patriarchy, be married, and have a child. All those things can exist simultaneously and do exist in me. I also think my desire to be a parent evolved and grew deeper as my relationship with Spencer grew. Spence is the kindest, gentlest, and most nurturing man I’ve ever known, and our home reflects that energy. It’s the home I’ve always wanted to be brought up in and now get to live in." -Kelly Dezart-Smith, whose husband, Spencer, is pregnant with their first child. (📷: @peter_ds)

Johns Hopkins Professor Issues Dire Warning on Child Transgender Trend

A psychiatrist from Johns Hopkins University has slammed the medical and psychiatric industries for what he says is reckless and irresponsible treatment of patients who claim to be transgender.

Paul McHugh, a renowned psychiatrist from Johns Hopkins University, told The College Fix he believes transgender people are being experimented on because the doctors treating transgender patients with hormones “don’t have evidence that (the treatment) will be the right one.” He also criticized the manner of treatment given to many children who claim to be transgender.

“Many people are doing what amounts to an experiment on these young people without telling them it’s an experiment,” he told The Fix via phone.

“You need evidence for that and this is a very serious treatment. It is comparable to doing frontal lobotomies.” . . .

A recent study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine found that 80 percent of gender minority students report having mental health problems, nearly double the rate of “cisgender” students. McHugh believes that in many cases the patient’s gender dysphoria is precipitated by mental illness. (Read more from “Johns Hopkins Professor Issues Dire Warning on Child Transgender Trend” HERE)

WATCH: Outrageous BBC Kids’ Series Teaches Children That There Are More Than 100 Genders

A new video series from the BBC teaches children that there are more than 100 gender identities. . .

One particular episode — “Understanding Sexual and Gender Identities” — features a discussion on what gender is. According to the BBC, gender is not biological assignment, it is “who you are inside.”

“There are so many gender identities,” one teacher told the young children. “So we know we’ve got male and female, but there are over 100, if not more, gender identities now.”

The teacher added, “You’ve got some people who might call themselves ‘gender queer,’ who are just like, ‘I don’t really want to be anything in particular, so I’m just going to be me.'”

Leo Lardie, a trans activist who was born female but is now a man, told the children of her transition, including bits about her own genitalia. She insisted that the only way she could live a happy and healthy life was by being “true about who I was, and let other people in on this.”

Cancer Society Claims Men Without Cervixes Can Get Cervical Cancer

There is no explanation for the following story but mass hysteria, which is a phenomenon where a large group of people can hallucinate the same delusion all at once. That’s exactly what is happening with the trans-hysterical movement in Western countries. Take Canada for example. These people north of our border have lost their minds, and I don’t mean just random folks, but major institutions like the Canadian Cancer Society.

A new ad campaign to fight cervical cancer is dominated by a transgender person who is a biological male and has no cervix. . .

The site goes onto claim that the risk of cervical cancer for a person with no cervix is very low. “If you’re a trans woman, you may not have given much thought to Pap tests and cervical cancer. And if you haven’t, that makes a fair amount of sense. After all, in order to get cervical cancer, you need to have a cervix.” But don’t be fooled by the seeming clarity of this statement. They go on to talk themselves out of it.

“If, however, you’re a trans woman who has had bottom surgery to create a vagina (vaginoplasty) and possibly a cervix, there’s a very small risk that you can develop cancer in the tissues of your neo-vagina or neo-cervix. The risk depends on the type of surgery you had, the type of tissue used to create your vagina and cervix and your personal health history. Talk to your healthcare provider to figure out your specific cancer-screening needs as part of your overall pelvic health following surgery.”

Mom Who Was Arrested in Front of Kids After Calling Transgender Activist the ‘Wrong’ Gender Is Charged

Kate Scottow, who was arrested in front of her two young children for referring to a trans woman as a man has been charged with malicious communications.

Authorities arrested Scottow, 38, at her home in December after she misgendered trans activist Stephanie Hayden on Twitter. She was detained for more than seven hours before being questioned, according to previous reporting. . .

After her initial arrest, Scottow took to the Mumsnet online forum to air her grievances.

“I was arrested in my home by three officers, with my autistic ten-year-old daughter and breastfed 20-month-old son present,” Scottow wrote. “I was then detained for seven hours in a cell with no sanitary products (which I said I needed) before being interviewed then later released under investigation … I was arrested for harassment and malicious communications because I called someone out and misgendered them on Twitter.”

She had her photograph, DNA, and fingerprints taken during the incident, and a court banned her from referring to Hayden as a man. (Read more from “Mom Who Was Arrested in Front of Kids After Calling Transgender Activist the ‘Wrong’ Gender Is Charged” HERE)
