Conservative podcaster Tucker Carlson labeled President Donald Trump as ‘enslaved’ in an interview published Wednesday and said that America needed a third political party.
Carlson was asked by the Columbia Journalism Review if he had talked to Trump since the start of the Iran war, which Carlson staunchly opposes.
‘I’m not interested in talking to him. I feel sorry for him,’ Carlson said.
‘He’s not a man in charge of his own life at this point. I feel sorry for anybody who’s enslaved, including him.’
Carlson was apparently alluding to Trump’s decision to start a war with Iran, suggesting outsized Israeli influence on the President.
Carlson has consistently insisted that Israel was the driving force behind US attacks on Iran, saying as early as March 2 that ‘this is Israel’s war. This is not the United States’s war.’ (Read more from “Tucker Carlson Brands Trump ‘Enslaved’ and Floats Idea that Could Tear Apart MAGA for Good” HERE)

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson broke from the Republican Party, stating that he was no longer able to support a party that “puts the interests of a foreign country above those of its own citizens.
While speaking on an episode of the Can’t Be Censored podcast, Carlson criticized the Trump administration for not being serious when it comes to strengthening the U.S. relationship with Canada and for being “completely focused on the Middle East.” Carlson also stated that the United States had gone to war with Iran “because of pressure from the prime minister of Israel.”
Carlson also pointed out that Canada is the United States’ “closest ally in the world” and “most important,” adding that “what happens in Canada matters a lot more than what happens in Israel or Lebanon or Iraq or Iran.”
When asked by host Karman Wong if he thought that the upcoming midterm elections would be “the first chance” to get a “temperature read” on how Americans feel about the Trump administration, Carlson pointed out that the polls “tell a pretty clear story about it.”
“Well, the poll numbers now are … tell a pretty clear story about it. I would not support the Republican Party, there’s no chance I would support the Republican Party,” Carlson said. “No going to support the Democratic Party, I don’t know what I’m going to do. But, at this point, how could you support, how could I or any American voters support a political party that’s not loyal to the United States? That puts the interests of a foreign country above those of its own citizens?” (Read more from “Tucker Carlson Breaks from GOP: ‘No Chance I Would Support the Republican Party’” HERE)

During an interview published Saturday, Tucker Carlson told the New York Times he believes the most important issue impacting young Americans in the long term is access to economic opportunity.
In response to the NYT’s question about how he thinks controversial 27-year-old podcaster Nick Fuentes fits into the future of the American right, Carlson responded it is “so hard to know” adding that most “of the debates about race, ethnicity, religion, to some extent immigration, are less resonant long-term than debates about economics.”
“I think the main frustration among young people is not just that the composition of the country is changing too fast, which it definitely is,” the Daily Caller News Foundation co-founder said. “But the main concerns are about the lack of economic opportunity for American young people, who are totally screwed at a more profound level than people acknowledge. Older people do not acknowledge that.”
Carlson also told the NYT’s Lulu Garcia-Navarro that he had recently had dinner with “a bunch of really smart kids from Stanford.”
“And one of them said that his best friend just graduated with a degree in computer science last year and has not been able to find a job,” he recounted. “So that’s a window into the total destruction of the economic opportunity for young people, and what looks to me as a non-economist like the true hoarding of capital by a tiny group of people.” (Read more from “Tucker Carlson Reveals Main Issue He Feels Is On Young Voter’s Minds. By Washington Examiner. Former National Counterterrorism Center Director Joe Kent said he and his team were blocked from continuing to investigate possible leads tied to the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, alleging federal agencies told them to halt their work despite unsolved questions.
Speaking on the Tucker Carlson Show following his resignation from the NCC, Kent said his office initially pursued leads related to possible foreign connections in the case, which fell within its mandate. But he said those efforts were curtailed.
“We were then told that, ‘Hey, you guys need to stop. You can’t work on this anymore,” Kent said.
Kirk, a prominent conservative figure and ally of President Donald Trump, was killed last September in a high-profile assassination that authorities have described as the act of a lone gunman on Utah Valley University’s campus. Kent said investigators were told to defer to state authorities in Utah and that federal agencies limited further inquiry.
“The FBI will say that they stopped that because they wanted to … turn everything over to the Utah State authorities,” Kent said, adding that officials characterized the case as a “slam dunk case.” (Read more from “Joe Kent Says He Was Told ‘You Need to Stop’ Investigating Charlie Kirk Assassination (VIDEO)” HERE)
Trump’s former counterterrorism chief Joe Kent under FBI investigation for sharing classified information: reports
By The Independent. The FBI has opened an investigation into Joe Kent, President Donald Trump’s former counterterrorism chief, who resigned from his post over opposition to the war in Iran, according to multiple news reports.
The bureau’s probe into Kent, who served as director of the National Counterterrorism Center, pertains to allegations that he mishandled classified information, four unnamed sources familiar with the matter told Semafor on Wednesday.
The investigation began before he left the administration, sources said, with one characterizing it as having gone on for months.
It’s being handled by the bureau’s Criminal Division, a source told CBS News.
Taylor Budowich, a former deputy White House chief of staff, appeared to allude to the investigation shortly after Kent stepped down. He wrote on X that the ex-counterterrorism chief was “often at the center of national security leaks.” (Read more from “Trump’s former counterterrorism chief Joe Kent under FBI investigation for sharing classified information: reports” HERE)

Tucker Carlson argued President Donald Trump’s call for Iran’s “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER” will require significant military force because historically that has meant troops get to rape the women and children of the conquered nation.
He said the U.S. would “presumably” have to use nuclear weapons to achieve that goal, since the Iranians will likely fight like hell to make sure they are not vulnerable to mass sexual assaults. Carlson made his claim during an interview with Breaking Points co-host Saagar Enjeti on Friday.
“Unconditional surrender means foreign troops get to rape your wife and daughter if they want. And everyone knows that,” Carlson said.
He continued, “If there is one consistent lesson of history it means unconditional surrender means foreign troops get to rape your wife and daughter. Everyone can feel that. That’s like the most atavistic instinct there is. And so to avoid that, people will do anything.”
Carlson continued his argument by saying:
So that’s why it requires that level of force, to get a population subdued to the point of unconditional surrender. That’s why. And so in this case, of course we don’t have the ground force necessary — I don’t think Americans would voluntarily participate in it, I just don’t think we can do that. It would require weapons of mass destruction. It would require, presumably, nuclear weapons. And let’s not lie to ourselves, we’re moving toward that.

A board member of the Heritage Foundation’s antisemitism task force resigned Wednesday, as the think tank’s president Kevin Roberts apologized for his defense of Tucker Carlson following the right-wing podcaster’s “softball” interview with white supremacist Nick Fuentes.
Laurie Cardoza-Moore announced she was withdrawing from the board of the National Task Force to Combat Antisemitism, also known as Project Esther, due to Roberts’ embrace of Carlson days after the Fuentes sitdown was released.
“I proudly accepted the invitation to serve on the Heritage Foundation’s Task Force as a tool to fight Jew Hatred, but I am being forced to stand down — unless they draw a clear line in the sand,” said Cardoza-Moore.
“Kevin Robert’s recent statement following Tucker Carlson’s interview with Nick Fuentes was extremely concerning,” she added. “If the Heritage Foundation wants to stand on the right side of history, they must cut all ties with antisemites.”
Cardoza-Moore, who founded the Christian Zionist group Proclaiming Justice to the Nations, claimed that she had told Carlson “in person and publicly, he is a dangerous antisemite.”
Roberts in a private town hall with Heritage staff on Wednesday said he “made a mistake” by issuing a full-throated defense of the former Fox News host. Thanks to DOGE, Americans spent the beginning of this year learning the obscene ways the government wastes their tax dollars. Many of the examples were jaw-dropping. More emerged last week.
John Kennedy highlighted a series of Democrats’ proposed foreign aid initiatives during a speech on the Senate floor on Friday, including using millions of dollars for circumcisions and vasectomies in Zambia, transgender programs in Nepal, LGBTQ activities in the Western Balkans and Uganda, cooking classes and dance focus groups for male prostitutes in Haiti, electric buses in Rwanda, and a pride parade in Lesotho. We promise each of those is real.
Republicans cut funding for the above programs after Donald Trump reclaimed the presidency. Democrats’ current proposal to end the government shutdown would bring it back. We think we speak for this newsletter’s readers when we say the GOP should not let that happen. If coastal liberals want to cut checks for Zambian foreskin removal, then good for them. They shouldn’t force the rest of the country to do the same. (Read more from “Democrats Seek Funding for Male Prostitute Cooking Classes, African Pride Parade, Nepali Transgenders, and More” HERE)

Daily Caller News Foundation co-founder Tucker Carlson expressed amazement on “The Tucker Carlson Show” Monday as Wikipedia co-founder Larry Sanger guided him through the site’s blacklist.
Wikipedia has a “perennial sources” page that categorizes sources based on how reliable they supposedly are, using “public discussion and consensus.” Sanger told Carlson on his show how to find the list and informed him as he searched for it that The New York Times, The Washington Post, CNN, The Nation, Mother Jones and GLAAD were among those with approval from Wikipedia.
“Come on!” Carlson exclaimed, laughing.
“These are all green lit, fully green lit,” Sanger said. The Wikipedia co-founder then read some of the “blacklisted” sources, including Breitbart News, the Daily Caller, The Epoch Times, Fox News, the New York Post and The Federalist.
“So, you can’t use those as sources on Wikipedia,” Sanger said.
“Oh, wow,” Carlson said as he looked at the list on his phone. Sanger explained the color coding. (Read more from “‘This Is Amazing!’: Tucker Carlson Stunned As Wikipedia Co-Founder Walks Him Through Site’s Blacklist” HERE)

In a fiery appearance on Glenn Greenwald’s System Update podcast this week, Tucker Carlson issued one of his strongest critiques yet of the U.S.-Israel relationship—specifically accusing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of bragging about controlling former President Donald Trump, and calling the influence of Israeli leaders over American policy “humiliating.”
“I’m not guessing about this,” Carlson told Greenwald. “I talked to people he [Netanyahu] said it to. Bibi’s running around the Middle East saying, point blank, ‘I control the United States. I control Donald Trump.’”
The former Fox News host and longtime conservative commentator framed his critique not as anti-Israel, but as pro-American—focusing his ire on U.S. political leaders who, he argued, are failing to represent the interests of the American people by putting Israel’s priorities first.
Carlson, a vocal Trump supporter who publicly endorsed and campaigned for him in 2016, said Netanyahu’s alleged comments about controlling Trump struck a personal chord.
“Even if I didn’t vote for Trump, which I did—I campaigned for Trump—but even if I hadn’t, I’m still an American. You can’t treat us like this. It’s too humiliating,” Carlson said. “I can’t handle that, and I shouldn’t have to put up with it.”
He continued, “There’s an ongoing humiliation ritual designed to make us all crazy—designed to turn us into haters.”
Carlson made clear that his primary criticism wasn’t of Israel itself, but of American politicians—on both sides of the aisle—who he says have allowed a foreign government to steer U.S. policy, often to the detriment of American citizens.
“I’m attacking my leaders who are allowing my nation of 350 million people to be forced into doing things that are bad for me and my children because of some other country,” he said. “That is a violation of the most basic arrangement we have with our leaders, which is: represent us, please—at least most of the time.”
Carlson’s comments come as U.S. support for Israel continues unabated during its war with Hamas, with billions in military aid and unconditional diplomatic backing. He has become one of the few prominent voices on the political right to break from the bipartisan consensus surrounding Israel, especially amid rising civilian deaths in Gaza and increasing global concern over the scope of Israel’s military campaign.
Carlson also addressed critics who have accused him of antisemitism or bigotry for his stance, saying these accusations are used to silence meaningful criticism and distract from uncomfortable truths.
“They just scream at you and call you names,” Carlson said. “But calling me a bigot doesn’t [hurt me], because I know that I’m not. I’m not going to give them the satisfaction of becoming what they call me.”
He added, “I’m not a hater, and I’m never going to become one. But I will never accept this.”

Tucker Carlson has come under fire following remarks made during a memorial service for conservative activist Charlie Kirk, whose recent assassination has stirred political tensions and rampant speculation.
Speaking to a packed crowd at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, Carlson appeared to compare Kirk’s death to the crucifixion of Jesus, suggesting both were targeted for speaking uncomfortable truths to power.
“So it’s about 2,000 years ago in Jerusalem, and Jesus shows up and he starts talking about the people in power… and they just go bonkers,” Carlson said. “They become obsessed with making him stop: ‘This guy’s got to stop talking. We’ve got to shut this guy up.’”
Carlson then added: “I can just sort of picture the scene in a lamp-lit room with a bunch of guys sitting around eating hummus, thinking about — ‘What do we do about this guy telling the truth about us? We must make him stop talking.’ And there’s always one guy with the bright idea, and I can just hear him say, ‘I’ve got an idea. Why don’t we just kill him?’”
Carlson’s remarks sparked immediate backlash from several Jewish groups and Israeli media outlets, who accused him of promoting antisemitic conspiracy theories. Critics pointed to his reference to hummus—despite it not being historically accurate to ancient Judea—as a possible allusion to modern Israel:
Complete with a laugh like a cartoon villain, Tucker Carlson uses Charlie Kirk’s funeral to spread an antisemitic blood libel. pic.twitter.com/WPzjn3nxby
Carlson has not responded to the allegations, and he did not explicitly name any individual or group in his speech. While the FBI has maintained that the shooting appears politically motivated and was likely carried out by a lone actor, many remain unconvinced.
Online discourse has increasingly centered around the possibility of foreign involvement, with some voices suggesting Israeli interests could have had a motive—though no hard evidence has emerged to support these claims. Nonetheless, the topic has gained traction in certain corners of the media.
Adding to the uncertainty, a new video that began circulating today appears to contradict the FBI’s official timeline and trajectory of the shooting. The footage seems to show that Kirk was shot from a direction inconsistent with the agency’s claims. See below:
