Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard issued a dire warning to the American people on Tuesday, expressing concern that “domestic enemies” of the United States, in the national security community and Big Tech industry, are plotting to create a “police state” in America.

Gabbard, who served as the U.S. representative for Hawaii’s 2nd Congressional District from 2013 to 2021, posted a video to social media in which she spoke out against efforts to expand the federal government’s national security powers after the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol. In the video, she called out former CIA Director John Brennan and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), two leading proponents of expanding national security powers, labeling them “domestic enemies” of the country.

“The mob who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6 to try to stop Congress from carrying out its constitutional responsibilities were behaving like domestic enemies of our country,” Gabbard said. “But let’s be clear, the John Brennans, Adam Schiffs and the oligarchs in Big Tech who are trying to undermine our constitutionally protected rights and turn our country into a police state with KGB-style surveillance are also domestic enemies — and much more powerful, and therefore dangerous, than the mob that stormed the Capitol.”

The video cuts to a clip from MSNBC of Brennan saying that members of the Biden administration “are now moving in laser-like fashion to try to uncover as much as they can about what looks very similar to insurgency movements that we see overseas.” Brennan was speaking of individuals and groups like those that formed the mob that laid siege to the Capitol. Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard hit back at critics of legislation she’s introduced to prevent transgender women from competing in female sports and for the care of infant survivors of late-term abortion, calling them “hypocrites.”

A number of people called Gabbard, who leaves Congress this month, “transphobic” and a “right wing s—t heel” on Twitter, among other invectives.

“I welcome real criticism and debate,” Gabbard (D-Hawaii) told The Post Saturday. “But my so-called critics don’t want to debate the issues. They just want to engage in smears and slurs and name-calling and innuendo.”

Gabbard, 39, who decided to leave Congress last year to focus on her presidential bid, said she is “maximizing” the time she has left in office and said she fears for the U.S.

Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) criticized the Iowa Democratic Party Tuesday for botching its first-in-the-nation caucus, accusing the Democrat National Committee (DNC) of “rigging” its primary contest in favor of billionaire candidates like former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

“Thousands of people turned out to cast the first votes of this presidential primary in the Iowa Caucuses last night,” Gabbard said in a statement. “Unfortunately, the voices of the people of Iowa have yet to be heard as the vote count continues, leaving voters frustrated and without the transparency and integrity in this process that they expect and deserve.”

She continued: “It’s clear that the corporate media, the military-industrial complex, and the party establishment are threatened by [my] message, because it challenges their grip on power. Two DNC Host Committee Leaders Fired

By ABC News. Two Democratic National Convention host committee leaders have been fired, according to the host committee board.

“Every employee has a right to feel respected in their workplace. Based on the information we have learned to date, we believe the work environment did not meet the ideals and expectations of the Milwaukee 2020 Host Committee Board of Directors. Accordingly, Liz Gilbert and Adam Alonso are no longer employed by the organization, effective immediately,” the host committee board said in a statement Tuesday night.

Accusations spelled out in a letter, which WISN 12 News obtained, claimed the two top leaders of the host committee created an office culture that was toxic, that eroded trust and damaged morale.

“Whenever there are issues like this, I take them very seriously,” Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett said.

Barrett praised the Milwaukee Host Committee’s board for its action addressing claims of a toxic work culture leveled against the committee’s president and its chief of staff. (Read more from “Two DNC Host Committee Leaders Fired” HERE)

Democratic presidential candidate Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (Hawaii) is not impressed with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s decision to delay sending articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump to the Senate.

During an interview on Friday, Gabbard — who voted “present” on impeachment, criticizing what she called the “partisan process” on display — said of Pelosi’s move, “You can’t…make up the rules as you go.” . . .

Gabbard was asked about Speaker Pelosi’s tactic during a sit-down with Hill.TV on Thursday, and responded, “I was surprised to hear that. Look, I think that you can’t kind of just shift and change and make up the rules as you go along.
