Walmart Bars Sales of AR-15s, Self-Defense Shotguns

R25GII-1140x641Walmart has instituted a new corporate policy that bars its stores from selling semi-automatic AR-15-style rifles and semi-automatic shotguns that have a magazine capacity of seven shots or more, multiple news outlets report.

According to Walmart spokesman Kory Lundberg, the massive retailer will replace ARs and self-defense and competition shotguns with budget-oriented bolt guns, rimfire rifles and pump-action shotguns. The spokesman denied that politics had anything to do with the decision, telling the Bearing Arms blog that a slump in AR and semi-auto shotgun sales prompted the company to pull those types of guns from its shelves.

While AR-15 rifles remain the top-selling long gun nationwide, sales volume has leveled off and many manufacturers and distributors have excess inventory on their shelves.

Though Lundberg denied the company bent to public opinion, Walmart has been the target of anti-gun groups who are pushing the retail giant ban some firearms sales. In December 2013, New York City-based Trinity Church sued to force a shareholder vote on whether “Walmart should sell products that are … especially dangerous to the public [and] pose a substantial risk to company reputation and would reasonably be considered offensive to the community and family values that Walmart seeks to associate with its brand,” including products with “high-capacity magazines.”

Wal-Mart Mob Wanted to See How Much Damage It Could Do

Surveillance video of a wee-hours ruckus at a Macon Wal-Mart on Sunday shows a teenager race inside flashing gang signs ahead of a mob of four dozen or so people who burst in and smashed merchandise . . .

Some in the crowd also snatched a man, apparently a shopper at the Zebulon Road store, from a motorized shopping cart and dragged him to the floor, Bibb County sheriff’s officials said Monday.

The vandals, said to number between 40 and 50, sprinted down the store’s main aisle about 1:50 a.m. Sunday, “destroying merchandise displays and items,” a sheriff’s deputy’s report of the incident noted.

Floors in parts of the store were “coated with broken merchandise,” the report added. “The length of the store from front to rear was lined with items which had been shattered, destroyed, turned over and thrown about” . . .

Walmart Sells Che Guevara Items Glorifying Racist Communist Thug

Walmart is selling several posters and prints glorifying dead communist thug Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara. Guevara was a notorious anti-Black racist from Argentina who murdered hungry children and became an icon for leftists around the world for his role in the 1959 communist takeover of Cuba . . .

In 2006, Walmart competitor Target pulled a CD carrying case with a Che Guevara image after customers complained, according to the AP.

In 2012 Urban Outfitters stopped selling Che Guevara posters in response to customer outrage.

Walmart has several pages of Che Guevara merchandise for sale on its Website. While books and movies about Guevara are not objectionable, posters and fine art prints glorifying Guevara that Walmart also sells crosses a line to de facto endorsement of the racist, communist murderer.

Most of the seventeen Che Guevara posters and prints Walmart is selling are based on the iconic photo of the beret-wearing Guevara taken by the late Alberto Diaz Gutierrez, aka Alberto Korda, entitled Guerrillero Heroico. Wal-Mart Suddenly Closed 5 Stores and Laid off Thousands of Workers and No One Knows Why

walmart-wal-mart-32Wal-Mart suddenly closed five stores in four states on Monday for alleged plumbing problems.

The closures could last up to six months and affect roughly 2,200 workers in Texas, California, Oklahoma, and Florida, CNN Money reports.

Wal-Mart employees say they were completely blindsided by the news, having been notified only a couple hours before the stores closed at 7 p.m. Monday.

“Everybody just panicked and started crying,” Venanzi Luna, a manager at a store in Pico Rivera, California, told CNN Money.

All workers will receive paid leave for two months. After that, full-time workers could become eligible for severance, according to CNN Money. But part-time workers will be on their own. Bigoted Walmart Puts Christian Employees on ‘Watch List’ [+videos]

walmart.topic.395-sfSpanI know several high-level executives in Walmart’s corporate office. I know them personally and I know their families. They have shared their faith with me and we have spent time in prayer together.

But now that Walmart has shown its public support for laws that force Christians to violate their faith, every executive, every store manager, every department manager and every team leader is forced into silence. No longer are they free to express their religious faith with its biblical position on marriage and sexuality.

In opposing Arkansas’ Religious Freedom Restoration Act, Walmart now sanctions religious discrimination and anti-Christian bigotry within the company.

Apparently, homosexual activists and their friends have taken influential control of Walmart’s Human Resources and Public Relations departments. Nothing less than full support of the gay brand of “diversity” – and only their brand – will be tolerated.

Last year, Walmart sponsored no less than eleven homosexual events across the nation. In addition, its corporate in-house magazine (Walmart World) touted full-page ads promoting Walmart Pride, the company’s sanctioned homosexual employee resource group. Walmart Orders Greeter to Stop Saying Certain Phrase but Caves After Community Uproar

Photo Credit: WSBTVPublic pressure and strong support on social media have forced Walmart in Blue Ridge to do an about face on censoring one of their long-time greeters.

James Philips is the first person people see when they walk into Walmart and he has always greeted them with “Have a blessed day” until someone complained and he was silenced.

When Philips was told that as a Walmart employee he could not greet people with the phrase, the community became his mouthpiece.

“I wasn’t trying to start a movement, but I am very appreciative that people thought enough of me to stand up for me this way,” said Philips. “I want to just be one of the best greeters I know how to be.”

Watch What a Walmart Shopper Stupidly Does When He Sees a Man Carrying a Gun

When 62-year-old Clarence Daniels walked into a Florida Walmart on Tuesday, he couldn’t have suspected that he would barely make it past the door.

Walmart video surveillance shows Daniels going into the store, but before he can get much further than the entrance, someone comes up from behind and throws him to the ground. Believing he’s definitely apprehended a bad guy, the man, who Fox 13 identified as Michael Foster, then restrains Daniels even more.

As Daniels is being held down, a few shoppers who had assumed that Foster is perhaps a hero in the making decide to help him out with the pending citizen’s arrest. They also take away Daniel’s holstered firearm that was under his shirt. Then, Foster calls 911.

In a turn of events that Foster probably didn’t expect, the authorities arrive and it’s not Daniels they’re putting in the back of the squad car – it’s him. (Read more about the Walmart shopper HERE)

Alligator Forces Walmart to Lock Doors (+video)

APOPKA, Fla. – Customers and workers dealt with an unwelcome intruder at a Walmart in Central Florida.

A 6-foot gator slithered up to the Apopka store’s entryway Sunday morning and stayed there, causing the automatic doors to open and close.
