WH, Pelosi Ignore Deadly Kabul Bombings, Celebrate ‘Women’s Equality Day’

Both the White House and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) issued woke-filled statements about “Women’s Equality Day” before acknowledging two deadly bombings in Afghanistan, which took the lives of U.S. citizens, troops, women, and children on Thursday.

The Democrat politicians issued grandiose statements of well-wishes on the anniversary of the 1920 adoption of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote. At the same time, women and civilians in Afghanistan are quickly being subjugated by the Taliban and bombed by Islamic terrorists amid Biden’s failed withdrawal from the country. Twin suicide bombings on Thursday outside Hamid Karzai International Airport and the Baron Hotel in Kabul, Afghanistan, have killed at least 60 people, including four U.S. Marines, and wounded another 140 on Thursday, according to reports.

The Afghan broadcaster 1TV News published photos of civilians using wheelbarrows to tend to the injured and people fleeing the scene covered in blood. U.S. officials told Reuters at least one of the bombings is believed to be a suicide bombing.

“My Administration is committed to bearing out the promise of the suffragists, who understood that for women to attain true equality in our country, they must have an equal place at the ballot box,” President Joe Biden’s statement said in part. “As the Vice President has said, the status of women is the status of democracy. This is true abroad, too, where we are committed to strengthening women’s political participation and leadership around the world”[.]

As of 2:00 p.m. Thursday, neither Biden nor the State Department had addressed the public about the growing crisis in Kabul. According to reports, the president remained in the Situation Room throughout the morning being briefed on the deadly airport bombings. White House Lies Saying Americans Are Not Stranded in Afghanistan After Telling Them Not Safe To Come to Airport

The White House on Monday argued that Americans were not stranded in Afghanistan, calling it “irresponsible” to say so.

“I think it’s irresponsible to say Americans are stranded,” said White House press secretary Jen Psaki. “They are not. We are committed to bringing Americans who want to come home, home.”

Psaki bristled at Fox News reporter Peter Doocy’s use of the word “stranded” during the daily press briefing to describe the Americans still in Afghanistan.

“We are in touch with them via phone, via text, via email, via any way we can possibly reach Americans to get them home if they want to return home,” she said.

President Joe Biden took a question from reporters when he returned to the White House on Sunday after spending the weekend at his Delaware home and began the exchange with a barking, bizarre statement, a clip of which was posted to social media and left many users scratching their heads.

A video clip of the exchange was posted by ABC News White House correspondent Molly Nagle, who asked, “Does immigration need to be in reconciliation? A pathway for citizenship?”

Biden responded in an emphatic matter and appeared to some users to say something like, “My butt’s been wiped!” — though it is not at all clear that’s what the president said. In fact, it’s difficult to make his exact words out due to the background noise and rotor wash of Marine One, the name of the helicopter the president uses for short-distance travel.

Vaccinated Pelosi Aide Tests Positive for COVID After Contact With Texas Dems

A spokesperson for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tested positive Monday for coronavirus following a meeting last week with members of the Texas Legislature who fled the state for Washington, D.C.

Drew Hammill, a top aide to Pelosi, said the staffer was fully vaccinated and did not have recent contact with the California Democrat, though the Speaker’s office is taking extra precautions as result.

“Yesterday, a fully-vaccinated senior spokesperson in the Speaker’s Press Office tested positive for COVID after contact with members of the Texas state legislature last week,” Hammill said in a statement obtained by Fox News.

“This individual has had no contact with the Speaker since exposure. The entire Press Office is working remotely today with the exception of individuals who have had no exposure to the individual or have had a recent negative test. IS JOE A SIMP FOR COMMIES? Biden Reveals His Thoughts on Communism, Socialism Amid Cuba Protests (VIDEO)

By Daily Caller. Communism is a “universally failed system” and socialism is “not a very useful substitute,” President Joe Biden told reporters Thursday.

Biden made the statement in response to questions at a dual press conference alongside German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Reporters asked Biden whether he agreed with White House press secretary Jen Psaki’s description of communism as a “failed ideology” earlier Thursday. Biden’s White House has faced scrutiny on the issue following the eruption of anti-communist protests in Cuba.

“Communism is a failed system, universally failed system, and I don’t see socialism as a very useful substitute, but that’s another story,” Biden said.

Biden went on to state that the U.S. does not currently plan to send troops to either Cuba or Haiti, which is also facing political upheaval in the wake of the assassination of its president, Jovenel Moïse. White House Finally Admits: ‘Communism Is a Failed Ideology’

By Breitbart. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said in part that “communism is a failed ideology” when Fox News’s Peter Doocy asked if she had changed her stance on why she thinks Cubans have been protesting in the streets since Sunday.

The admission was a notable tone shift from Monday, when Psaki postulated that Cuban protesters yelling “freedom!” during anti-communist protests were actually demanding “freedom from rising COVID cases.” Psaki again declined on Wednesday to directly blame communism for the current unrest in Cuba when Doocy asked her whether communism was the reason people might want to flee Cuba for the U.S.

Doocy: Now that you’ve had a few days to think about it, does this White House still think the protests in Cuba are happening because people are upset about a rise in COVID cases there, or is there some thought maybe you’ve given to the possibility that they are protesting because they are sick of communism?

Psaki: Well, uh, Peter, first I would say communism is a failed ideology, and we certainly believe that. It has failed the people of Cuba. They deserve freedom. They deserve a government that supports them, whether that is, uh, making sure they have health and medical supplies, uh, access to vaccines, or whether they have economic opportunity and prosperity. And instead, this has been a government, an authoritarian, communist regime, that has repressed its people and has failed the people of Cuba, hence we’re seeing them in the streets. But I would note that ideology of the government, which has failed, has led to a lack of access to economic opportunity, to medical supplies, to COVID vaccines, so all of those pieces are true. House Republicans Demand Answers About Biden Family ‘Cash-Grab’

A dozen Republican members of Congress demanded Wednesday that the White House turn over information related to the business interests of President Biden’s family in order to “understand the extent of the Biden family’s use of its connection to the President to enrich itself.”

The letter to White House Counsel Dana Remus from the members of the House Oversight Committee seeks information on trips then-Vice President Biden took with son Hunter to China in 2013 and Mexico in 2016. It also asks for a list of “all past and ongoing foreign business interests and past and ongoing foreign relations for members of the Biden family,” as well as all “documents and communications regarding Hunter Biden’s artwork.“

The impetus for the letter, which was first obtained by Fox News, appears to be an upcoming exhibition of 15 of Hunter Biden’s paintings at galleries in Los Angeles and New York City later this year. Prices for the art will range from $75,000 for works on paper to $500,000 for the larger canvases. . .

White House Attempts To Pin Inflation on Summer

As the cost of basic goods, groceries and gas continues to skyrocket, the White House is attempting to pin rising inflation on seasonal price changes.

“Gas prices do historically rise in the summer and that’s particularly true even in moments like this when there is a spike in people traveling and even more people are hitting the road now because of our success defeating the pandemic,” Psaki said.

President Biden Didn’t Want to Live in the White House

President Biden has set his sights on the White House multiple times, eventually winning in the 2020 election, but he wasn’t too keen on the White House’s “trappings” in the past.

Biden actually said he did not want to live in the White House in 2006 while trying to woo the voters at the time who were in their 20s and 30s with purple “Unite Our States” martinis.

“I would rather go home to Delaware and make love with my wife when the kids are gone from the house,” Biden, who was a Delaware senator at the time, joked as he mixed the lavender libations, eliciting woos from the crowd.

White House Defends Olympian Who Turned Back on U.S. Flag

White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Monday defended the “peaceful protest” of Olympic hammer thrower Gwen Berry, who on Saturday turned away from the US flag while the national anthem played and covered her head with her T-shirt that read, “Activist Athlete.”

Asked by a reporters what President Biden thought of the move by Berry, which critics have slammed as unpatriotic and unbecoming of a Team USA member that will represent the United States in Tokyo, Psaki seemed to say he would be understanding.

“I haven’t spoken to the president specifically about this, but I know he’s incredibly proud to be an American and has great respect for the anthem and all that it represents, especially for our men and women serving in uniform all around the world,” Psaki said at her daily press briefing.

Psaki added: “He would also say, of course, that part of that pride in our country means recognizing there are moments where we are — as a country, haven’t lived up to our highest ideals. And it means respecting the rights of people granted to them in the Constitution to peacefully protest.”

WH Dodges Question on Whether Biden Thinks 15-Week-Old Unborn Baby Is a Person

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki declined to say if President Biden believes a 15-week-old unborn baby is a human being during Monday’s press briefing.

“Does the president believe that a 15-week-old unborn baby is a human being?” a reporter asked Psaki.

“Are you asking me if the president supports a woman’s right to choose? He does,” Psaki said.

Psaki’s response came after the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops voted overwhelmingly to draft a formal document on the meaning of the Eucharist after a contentious debate on whether Biden and other politicians who support abortion policies are worthy of receiving Communion at Mass. . .

Biden, who attends Mass regularly, has previously said he personally opposes abortion but doesn’t think he should impose that position on Americans who feel otherwise. He’s taken several executive actions during his presidency that were hailed by abortion rights advocates.
