Ex-White House Interpreter: ‘Canceled and Humiliated’ for Supporting Trump

The White House sign-language interpreter who was outed as a supporter of former President Donald Trump said Sunday that she hasn’t been offered a return engagement since — and blasted critics who attacked her credibility and professionalism.

Heather Mewshaw, who began working as an independent contractor for the White House last year, said she hasn’t been contacted by the Biden administration in the wake of a Time magazine report that revealed she translated speeches for conservative social media groups.

“The goal of my activity — at the White House or with Hands of Liberty — is that it’s all about access,” Mewshaw told The Post.

“The thing is, I was canceled and humiliated publicly and it was unjust and unfair.”

Mewshaw, a 41-year-old married mother of four from Glen Burnie, Md., also said she’s been “harassed” and “intimidated” online for providing American Sign Language translation for the Hands of Liberty Facebook group and its defunct predecessor, Right Side ASL. This Is What Fauci Says About Wearing a Second Face Mask

Two face masks are better than one, Dr. Anthony Fauci said Monday.

The infectious diseases specialist that double-masking is a logical way to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

“If you have a physical covering with one layer, you put another layer on, it just makes common sense that it likely would be more effective,” Fauci said on the “Today” show.

The White House advisor explained that the face coverings prevent respiratory droplets — and the virus — from spreading to other people, as well as protecting the wearer. (Read more from “This Is What Fauci Says About Wearing a Second Face Mask” HERE)

Movers Seen at White House Week Ahead of Biden Arrival

A moving truck loaded with packing boxes was photographed arriving at the White House on Wednesday afternoon ahead of the House vote to impeach President Trump for a second time.

Four movers were seen unloading pallets of flatpack cardboard boxes outside the the Executive Office Building on the White House grounds as the Trump family prepares to leave the executive residence and decamp to Florida.

Furious preparations are underway with just one week until President-elect Joe Biden takes the oath of office and moves into 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. on Jan. 20.

The commander in chief and first lady Melania Trump officially ditched New York and made the Sunshine State their primary residence in September 2019, trading Manhattan’s Trump Tower for their sun-drenched Mar-a-Lago Club in West Palm Bach.

A source close to the couple told Page Six last month that the pair are looking at luxury homes in Palm Beach and private schools in the area for their son, Barron Trump, 14. (Read more from “Movers Seen at White House Week Ahead of Biden Arrival” HERE)

White House Doctor To Retire After Embarrassing Travel Scandal (VIDEO)

In an interview with Newsy, Birx said she wants to help the Biden administration transition into office but she then plans to retire. “I want the Biden administration to be successful,” Birx said. “I will be helpful in any role that people think I can be helpful in and then I will retire.”

Still Fighting: White House Refuses to Recognize Biden as President-Elect Following Electoral College Vote; Arizona State Senator Subpoenas Maricopa County for Election Audits; Legislative Committees Slap Multiple Cities With Election-Related Subpoenas

By Washington Examiner. White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany declined to echo Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s acknowledgment of Joe Biden as president-elect.

“The president is still involved in ongoing litigation related to the election,” McEnany told reporters on Tuesday.

On Monday, the Electoral College met across the country to affirm Biden’s win, giving the president-elect 306 votes to President Trump’s 232, 37 days after multiple outlets called the Nov. 3 election in Biden’s favor on Nov. 11.

Arizona State Senator Subpoenas Maricopa County for Election Audits

By Washington Examiner. An Arizona state senator subpoenaed the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, demanding audits of Dominion Voting Systems machines used in the state’s largest county.

Arizona state Senate President Karen Fann announced that Eddie Farnsworth, a Republican who is the chairman of the state Senate’s Judiciary Committee, served the subpoenas on Tuesday.

“Today, under my direction as Senate President, Judiciary Committee Chairman Eddie Farnsworth issued subpoenas to the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. One subpoena calls for a scanned ballot audit, to collect an electronic ballot image cast for all mail-in ballots counted in the November 2020 general election in Maricopa County, Arizona. The second subpoena calls for a full forensic audit of ballot tabulation equipment, the software for that equipment and the election management system used in the 2020 general election,” Fann said in the statement obtained by the Washington Examiner.

“The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors were served these subpoenas on Tuesday afternoon, and they call for the information to be delivered to the Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman on or before 5 p.m. on December 18, 2020. I appreciate Board Chairman Clint Hickman’s commitment to the integrity of the Arizona election process, and I know he shares all of our concerns,” Fann added. McEnany’s Husband Attends White House Press Briefing Without Mask

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany’s husband, Sean Gilmartin, appeared without a mask in the White House briefing room on Wednesday and declined to cover his face after being asked to do so by a journalist.

The interaction between Gilmartin and the White House press corps came after McEnany, who generally does not wear a mask at the briefing room podium, conducted a 24-minute news conference.

Photographer Doug Mills of The New York Times initiated the exchange when he “politely pointed out” to Gilmartin, a professional baseball pitcher, rules mandating that masks be worn in White House press areas. . .

Mills confirmed to Johnson that Gilmartin was maskless for the entirety of the briefing, adding that he did not know Gilmartin was McEnany’s husband when he informed him about the mask rules. (Read more from “McEnany’s Husband Attends White House Press Briefing Without Mask” HERE)

WATCH: White House Press Caught Laughing at McEnany and Trump

In journalism in America, the White House press corps is a prestigious assignment.

But a hot mic caught reporters goofing off in the White House breifing room, mocking Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany and President Trump, according to a video posted by Climate Depot.

It began with a reporter saying: “Hey guys. We’re in the White House briefing room here. Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany is going to hold her first briefing since October 1st and a lot has happened since then. The two-minute warning. The president has gotten COVID, she’s gotten COVID, they’ve lost the election, and the president has refused to concede.”

Biden Plans to Reverse Trump Policies Day One

Former Vice President Joe Biden is preparing a bevy of executive orders to issue on his first day in the White House that will reverse some of the key policies of the Trump administration.

Biden, whom the Associated Press declared president-elect on Saturday, has already tasked his transition team with focusing on how to leverage the “executive power” of the Oval Office, according to the Washington Post.

Some of the orders that Biden plans to issue deal with hot button topics like immigration and national security. According to the Post, Biden plans to reverse the Trump administration’s decision to impose tight travel restrictions for individuals attempting to travel to the United States from countries like Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen. Biden is also planning to issue orders to reinstitute protections for illegal immigrants in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and prioritize family reunification.

Upon taking office, Biden also plans to rejoin the Paris Climate Accord and restore U.S. support for the World Health Organization (W.H.O.). Trump withdrew the U.S. from the former and terminated its support for the W.H.O. (Read more from “Biden Plans to Reverse Trump Policies Day One” HERE)

DC Protesters Organized via Zoom for Months

By Fox News. A collection of groups led by Black Lives Matter and Shutdown DC reportedly has been holding training sessions for demonstrators to protest on Election Day — and apparently, they’re planning a large-scale event across the street from the White House expected to draw thousands.

Several leaked documents and Zoom call recordings described a loose but coordinated network of activists seeking to mobilize around the country, especially if Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden loses or if President Trump contests the election results. The materials purportedly showed plans to shut down federal buildings, including the White House, and to meet members of Congress at public transportation portals when they’re scheduled to reconvene in Washington after the election.

The apparent goal: to continue the civil unrest from Election Day until at least later this week — and potentially until the presidential inauguration in January. (Read more from “DC Protesters Organized via Zoom for Months” HERE)
