Prince Charles Makes Devastating Statement About Islam, Causing Outrage From Muslims

Photo Credit: Daily Mail Prince Charles risked provoking a new political and religious storm yesterday when he said Muslims living in the UK should follow British values.

In a staunch defence of Britain’s ‘Christian standpoint,’ he denounced the radicalisation of young Britons by Islamic fanatics and said they should show more respect to ‘the values we hold dear’.

People who had ‘come here, were born here or go to school here’ should ‘abide by our values,’ he said. His comments were made as he started a six-day tour of the Middle East, seen as another stage in assuming more of the Queen’s international duties.

It is a clear response to critics who say he should not meddle in sensitive political matters. The Prince will also challenge Arab leaders head-on during the trip.

The Mail on Sunday can disclose that he is to tell new Saudi king Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud to his face that he should stop the 1,000 lashes handed down as punishment to Saudi blogger Raif Badawi for comments which the regime claimed were critical of Islam. Scott Walker Refuses to Answer Questions on Evolution and Foreign Policy

By Greg Nuemann. Speaking to a group of reporters and academics at the prestigious Chatham House Royal Institute for International Affairs Wednesday, Gov. Scott Walker (R-Wisconsin) refused to answer questions on both foreign policy and evolution.

Gov. Walker is visiting the United Kingdom on a trade and investment mission through the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation and told reporters he would limit his responses to questions about that subject and other issues directly related to the State of Wisconsin.

“As you can imagine – and I’m not trying to skirt your question – I just think for me, commenting on foreign policy or in this case economic policy in a country where you’re a visitor is not the politest of things,” Gov. Walker told a reporter who asked him to assess the English economy. (Read more about how Scott Walker refuses to answer these certain questions HERE)

As Scott Walker Mulls White House Bid, Questions Linger Over College Exit

By David A. Farenthold. Scott Walker was gone. Dropped out. And in the spring of his senior year.

In 1990, that news stunned his friends at Marquette University. Walker, the campus’s suit-wearing, Reagan-loving politico — who enjoyed the place so much that he had run for student body president — had left without graduating.

To most of the Class of 1990 — and, later, to Wisconsin’s political establishment — Walker’s decision to quit college has been a lingering mystery.

Not even his friends at Marquette were entirely sure why he never finished. Some had heard that a parent had fallen ill, or maybe there was some financial strain. Others thought he had simply had enough of school.

Walker clearly liked college politics more than college itself. He had managed to line up 47 campaign endorsements, including ones from the ski team and the varsity chorus, but he had trouble showing up on time for French. (Read more from this story HERE)

Marine Banned From Daughter’s School Because He Spoke Out About Islam

A father and military veteran says he has been banned from a Charles County high school because he got into an argument with faculty over his child’s homework assignment.

Kevin Wood received his no trespassing order on Tuesday. This all stems from a run-in between Wood and the vice principal at his daughter’s school.

He says he challenged a history class assignment that had students list the benefits of Islam . . .

Melissa says her husband Kevin, a United States Marine and Iraq veteran, is the most patriotic person she has met. But now, he is banned from even stepping foot near their daughter’s high school . . .

This started when their eleventh grader came home from La Plata High School with a three-page assignment. It asked for explanations of Islam’s Five Pillars, Mecca and Muhammad. (Read more from “Marine Banned From High School” HERE)

Staples Slams Obama’s ‘Attack’ on Health Care Policy

In a rare instance of corporate criticism of a president, Staples Inc. on Wednesday said that President Barack Obama “appears not to have all the facts” when he criticized the company’s policy of limiting worker hours.

The news website BuzzFeed had reported earlier this week that Staples had toughened up enforcement of a rule limiting part-time employees to 25 hours. The story reported that the company’s stance was seen by many workers as an effort to avoid paying benefits.

Under the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, companies with more than 50 employees must pay for health insurance for people who work 30 hours a week or more.

In an interview on Tuesday, BuzzFeed asked Obama to comment on its Staples story.

Obama responded: “I haven’t looked at Staples stock lately or what the compensation of the CEO is, but I suspect that they could well afford to treat their workers favorably and give them some basic financial security, and if they can’t, then they should be willing to allow those workers to get the Affordable Care Act without cutting wages. ISIS Sends Michelle Obama and Family ‘Bloody Valentine’

By Carmine Sabia. The Islamic State was at it again Tuesday with its “Cyber Caliphate” hacking the Twitter feed of Newsweek magazine and giving a chilling warning to the first family.

The hackers tweeted a message that read “#CyberCaliphate Bloody Valentine’s Day #MichelleObama! We’re watching you, you(r) girls and your husband!”

The hackers also put up the same ISIS logo picture they have used in the past of a jihadi fighter.

They also included the phrase “Je suIS IS,” which means “I am Islamic State” in French, taken from the “Je suisCharlie” phrase used after the Charlie Hebdo attacks in Paris on Jan. 7. (Read more about the ‘Bloody Valentine’ HERE)

Obama Opens Door to ‘Limited’ Ground Combat Operations Against ISIS

By Fox News. President Obama on Wednesday opened the door to “limited” ground combat operations against the Islamic State, as he asked Congress to formally authorize military force against the terrorist network.

The president, in a proposed resolution and a letter to Congress, underscored the “grave threat” posed by ISIS.

“If left unchecked, ISIL will pose a threat beyond the Middle East, including to the United States homeland,” Obama said.

Speaking later at the White House, Obama vowed to defeat the terror group. “This is a difficult mission, and it will remain difficult for some time,” Obama said. “But our coalition is on the offensive. ISIL is on the defensive, and ISIL is going to lose.” (Read more from this story HERE)

Secret Iranian Unit Fueling Mideast Bloodshed With Illicit Arms Shipments

By Jennifer Griffin. As conflicts and civil wars rage across the Middle East and North Africa, a shadowy covert cell operating under the Iranian government is fueling the bloodshed.

Unit 190, a secret arm of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s Quds Force made up of about two-dozen employees, has for years smuggled arms to these conflict zones.

After an extensive investigation tracing the land, air and sea routes used by the Quds Force to move weapons to Hezbollah, Hamas and now the Houthis in Yemen, Fox News has also learned from western intelligence sources the name of the Iranian man who is a key player in Unit 190: Behnam Shahariyari, born in 1968 in Ardabil, northwest Iran.

According to western intelligence sources, Shahariyari runs a network of straw companies — which skirt sanctions packing RPG’s, night-vision equipment and long-range rockets in powdered milk, cement and spare vehicle parts.

“Very often arms and explosives were placed in trucks underneath legal cargo in order to hide them,” said Michael Eisenstadt, director of Military and Security Studies programs for the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. (Read more about the illicit arms shipments HERE)

Iran Marks 36th Anniversary of Islamic Revolution Amid Nuclear Talks

By Associated Press. Iran is marking the 36th anniversary of its 1979 Islamic Revolution as the country continues negotiations with world powers over its contested nuclear program.

State television aired footage of commemorations in Tehran and elsewhere across the country Wednesday. Some participants chanted “Down with the U.S.” and “Death to Israel.”

On Feb. 11, 1979, followers of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini ousted U.S.-backed Shah Reza Pahlavi. America helped orchestrate the 1953 coup that overthrew Iran’s popularly elected prime minister, Mohammad Mossadegh, which brought Pahlavi to power and set the stage for decades of mistrust between the countries. Watch: Unexpected End to Texas Car Chase Stuns Newscasters

By Kevin Young. A high-speed police chase came to a dramatic end Wednesday in North Dallas when the driver rear-ended a family’s minivan and was promptly tackled, dragged into the street and beaten by a woman and a man whose vehicle he rear-ended.

Dallas police identified the suspect as 40-year-old Artrai Alexander and said he allegedly stole a Dodge Challenger from a convenience store in the 3000 block of Grand Avenue, near Fair Park . . .

Dallas police chased the stolen vehicle along residential streets, parking lots and Interstate 635 until the driver tried to split between two cars at a stoplight but instead rammed into them at Walnut Hill Lane and Abrams Road.

Jessica Liesmann, who was driving the minivan the suspect hit, and her boyfriend Charles Cook got out of their van, quickly approached the suspect’s vehicle and fought him to the ground before police officers arrived and arrested him.

“I saw him come behind me and hit me. I turned around and asked my son, ‘Are you okay?’ and he was like ‘Yeah’ – so I jumped out the car and was like, ‘What the hell is wrong with you? You’re in a school zone. What are you thinking?’ He didn’t say anything,” Liesmann said. (Read more about the Texas car chase HERE)

“My heart is beating really hard right now,” says and excited Jessica Liesmann.

Lawless Obama Admin. Now Granting Visas to Illegal Aliens’ Relatives, Sets Up Complaint Hotlines for Unhappy Illegals

By Stephen Dinan. The Homeland Security Department has set up hotlines for illegal immigrants who believe their rights under President Obama’s amnesty policy have been violated.

In a memo announcing the customer complaint line, U.S. Customs and Border Protection asked illegal immigrants to “please tell us about your experience” if they believe they were treated “contrary to the new DHS enforcement priorities.”

The department alerted “stakeholders” last week of three complaint hotlines: one for CBP, which oversees the Border Patrol; one for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which handles immigration laws in the nation’s interior; and one for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, which is poised to handle the millions of amnesty applications expected to be filed. By Numbers USA. United States Customs and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced a new program that will allow for the extended families of illegal aliens from certain countries to enter the United States legally.

The “In-Country Refugee/Parole Processing for Minors in Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala,” or the “Central American Minors (CAM)” was originally announced in November as a solution to last summer’s surge of unaccompanied alien children into the U.S. The expansion announced yesterday is “primarily targeted at” children of a qualifying parent from El Salvador, Guatemala, or Honduras. However, the expansion will also allow include spouses, grandchildren, and adult children of illegal aliens to be eligible for residency, citizenship, and government benefits.

According to the Daily Caller, the announcement is also open to the estimated 5 million beneficiaries of President Obama’s disputed 2012 and 2014 amnesties and would give them legal means to win permanent residency. (Read more from this story HERE)

Bobby Jindal Slams Republican Party Changes to Primary System

By Jon Ward. Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal on Monday morning dismissed the Republican National Committee’s efforts to reduce the number of debates in the Republican presidential primary, and to shorten the primary process, calling the RNC’s changes “futile.”

Jindal also made clear he has no plans – if he runs for the nomination – to abide by the RNC’s attempt to keep candidates from participating in debates that are not sanctioned by the party committee.

“I know there is a lot of concern, especially in this town among Republican party leaders,” Jindal said. “There’s this ideal of theirs, this idealistic belief, that if we could just have fewer debates, if we could have a gentler, kinder nominating process, that would be good for the party and good for the nominee. Well you know what? Democracy is messy.”

“And the donors, the political leaders, the establishment, the pundits, they don’t get to pick our nominee,” Jindal said at a breakfast with reporters hosted by the Christian Science Monitor.

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus has made clear over the past two years that he believes the 2012 Republican primary was a mess, which dragged on for too long and allowed for too many debates, leading to constant intraparty fighting and exhausting the candidates. The RNC currently says it will sanction nine Republican debates, with an option to add three more. (Read more from “Bobby Jindal Slams Republican Party” HERE)

Bobby Jindal Hammers Common Core in DC

By Eric Pianin. Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal was in Washington on Monday to promote his new education initiatives and to lash out at the Common Core national education standards that have been warmly embraced by former Florida governor Jeb Bush, one of Jindal’s potential rivals for the 2016 GOP presidential campaign. . .

Jindal yesterday sought to focus attention on his “K-12 Education Reform: A Roadmap,” which he reportedly believes will set him apart from Bush and other potential rivals should he enter the 2016 presidential field. “America is stuck in a rut on education, and has been for half a century,” Jindal’s document declares. He promotes the ideas of parental choice, limited government and educator freedom as the key to success, while dismissing Common Core as a monopoly government-provided education system.

But it was a rocky visit for Jindal who was repeatedly asked by reporters about Louisiana’s dire financial straits, including a $1.6 billion budget deficit, the deepest per-student cuts in higher education of any state in the country and negative credit ratings by Moody’s.
