Obama Admin. is Supplying Sex Change Hormones to Transgender Illegals Arrested in the US

Photo Credit: CNS News By Melanie Hunter. An official with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement testified Friday during a discussion on immigration detention facilities, hosted by the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, that transgender individuals are guaranteed “a right to hormone therapy.”

“With respect to treatment while in detention–the medical care standard–the standards guarantees a right to hormone therapy for individuals who need it for treatment, and even in facilities that are not covered by that standard. Our ICE House Service Corps is very vigilant on that issue to ensuring that individuals receive necessary hormone therapy,” said Kevin Landy, assistant director of the ICE office of detention policy and planning . . .

As CNSNews.com previously reported, the 2011 Operations Manual ICE Performance-Based National Detention Standards – ICE’s operations manual for its detention facilities – offers guidelines for transgender illegal immigrants who have been receiving hormone therapy before they are apprehended. Obama Quietly Displaces More American Workers with 5.46 Million Foreigners

By Neil Munro. President Barack Obama has quietly handed out an extra 5.46 million work permits for non-immigrant foreigners who arrived as tourists, students, illegal immigrants or other types of migrants since 2009, according to federal documents released by a Freedom of Information Act request.

“The executive branch is operating a huge parallel work-authorization system outside the bounds of the [immigration] laws and limits written by Congress [and which] inevitably reduces job opportunities for Americans,” said Jessica Vaughan, the policy director at the Center for Immigration Studies, while filed the FOIA request.

“The true magnitude of how often he has evaded the limits set by Congress on foreign workers has never been known until now,” she told The Daily Caller. (Read more from this story HERE)

Scott Walker: This is What Americans Think of When They Hear the Name ‘Hillary Clinton’ (+video)

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker was on ABC’s This Week, and talked about why he thinks Hillary Clinton should not be the next president.

Guest host Martha Raddatz asked Walker what he thought was the best case against electing the Democratic frontrunner:

I think former Secretary of State Clinton embodies all the things that we think of Washington.

She lives here, she worked here, she’s part of the Washington structure for years, not just as a Democrat but across the spectrum. I think Washington represents the top-down, government-knows-best, go-along-to-get-along mentality.

Clinton lived in D.C. when she was First Lady from 1993 until 2001, as well as when she was a senator from 2001 to 2009, and then as Secretary of State from 2009 to 2013. (Read more about what Scott Walker said HERE)

By Fox News. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott declared Feb. 2 as “Chris Kyle Day” in his state, honoring the late sniper as a petition drive also gets underway to consider him for the Medal of Honor.

Kyle, considered to be the deadliest sniper in U.S. military history, is the subject of the blockbuster film “American Sniper.”

Though the movie has been controversial, Abbott told Fox News he decided to honor Kyle because “he’s an American hero” . . .

Meanwhile, White House petitions have been launched calling for Kyle to be awarded the Medal of Honor.

One of them states he should be awarded, posthumously, “For his four tours to Iraq which saved hundreds and possibly thousands of US soldiers lives.” (Read more about Chris Kyle Day and the petition HERE)

‘American Sniper’ Breaks More Records on Anniversary of Chris Kyle’s Death

By Maria Mercedes Lara. American Sniper has once again come out on top at the box office, bringing in a record-breaking $31.9 million over Super Bowl weekend. But the film’s latest success comes at a bittersweet time as Monday marks the two-year anniversary of Chris Kyle’s death.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has declared Feb. 2 as “Chris Kyle Day,” honoring the Navy SEAL whose story inspired the film that has become the highest-grossing war-themed movie ever. (American Sniper has already brought in $248.9 million in six weeks, beating out previous record-holder Saving Private Ryan.)

Kyle was famously killed in 2013 while he was mentoring Eddie Ray Routh, a troubled vet, at a gun range. Routh was charged with Kyle’s murder and will stand trial on Feb. 11. His attorney told PEOPLE in January that Routh will plead not guilty by reason of insanity.

Meanwhile, the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation has set aside Feb. 2 to remember Kyle, writing that he was “an inspiration to many as he lived his values by God, Country and Family.” (Read more from this story HERE)

Obama Unveils Ridiculous Budget for 2016

Photo Credit: Breitbart President Obama on Monday will unveil a nearly $4 trillion budget for 2016 that offers a tax cut for the middle class and a $478 billion infrastructure plan, as well as new taxes on the wealthy and businesses.

Administration officials cast the plan, which will be released to the public at 11:30 a.m., as balancing investments in government programs with fiscal discipline.

“You don’t need to choose between those two things, you can, in fact, accomplish both. We believe our budget provides a roadmap for how to do that,” a senior administration official told reporters during a conference call Sunday.

The budget busts through ceilings on spending that were introduced in a 2011 budget deal between President Obama and House Republicans. The increased spending is likely to be rejected by Republicans now in control of the House and Senate.

The budget will request $74 billion more in spending for domestic programs and the Pentagon that would be allowed under the spending ceilings. (Read more about the budget for 2016 HERE)

Despite Super Bowl Loss, Seahawks Quarterback Thanks God

Despite their loss to the New England Patriots, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson praised God for the opportunity to play in the Super Bowl again.

Wilson, a Christian, tweeted early Monday, “Thank You God for the opportunity. We’ll be back… I will never waiver on who He has called me to be… Thanks 12s #GoHawks.”

In what is being called one of the most exciting Super Bowls ever, the Patriots made a comeback in the fourth quarter that led to their victory, 28-24. While the Seahawks were expected to win their second consecutive Super Bowl when they stood at the Patriots’ 1-yard line, the ball was intercepted by Malcolm Butler when Wilson threw tried to throw it to Ricardo Lockette.

Coach Pete Carroll took the blame, saying he made the call to have Wilson throw the ball rather than run it.

“I made the decision,” Carroll said. (Read more on what the Seahawks quarterback said HERE)

L.A. Officials Pledge to Raise $10 Million to Help Illegal Aliens

Photo Credit: Washington Times By L.A. Times. Los Angeles leaders said Friday they hope to raise $10 million to help immigrants in the country illegally apply for President Obama’s deferred action programs, which would offer some protection from deportation.

Mayor Eric Garcetti said it’s important that the nearly half a million people eligible for immigration relief in the Los Angeles area apply for the programs. The mayor announced the plan during an event at his home with immigrant advocates and a top immigration enforcement official.

“It will make our communities and our streets safer,” said Garcetti, who added that the goal is to help at least 100,000 immigrants apply.

The plan is a joint effort between the city of Los Angeles and the California Community Foundation, a philanthropy group that often works on immigration issues. The group’s director, Antonia Hernandez, said her organization has already raised $5 million from organizations including the Weingart Foundation and the California Endowment. Much of the money will be distributed to area nonprofits that work with immigrants, Hernandez said. (Read more about the officials wanting to help illegal aliens HERE)

Illegal Aliens Released From Custody Committed 1,000 New Crimes

By Stephen Dinan. One thousand of the 36,000 illegal immigrant criminals the government released in 2013 have gone on to commit other crimes, including child sex abuse, hit-and-run and child cruelty, according to new data released Friday evening by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley.

The information, which the Department of Homeland Security provided to Mr. Grassley, details all 1,000 convictions, including dozens of drunken-driving convictions, drug offenses and weapons convictions. But the more serious crimes include domestic abuse, carjacking and aggravated assault.

One of the illegal immigrants, identified as No. 960, was subsequently convicted of inflicting injury on a domestic partner; child cruelty, with the possibility of injury or death; probation violations; speeding; driving without a license; and failing to appear for court.

“The Obama administration claims that it is using ‘prosecutorial discretion’ to prioritize the removal of criminal aliens from this country. But this report shows the disturbing truth: 1,000 undocumented aliens previously convicted of crimes who the administration released in 2013 have gone on to commit further crimes in our communities,” Mr. Grassley said. Rand Paul: Vaccines Can Lead to ‘Mental Disorders’ (+video)

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said that while “vaccines are one of the greatest medical breakthroughs that we had,” he claims he has heard of children who got mental disorders from vaccines on Monday’s “Closing Bell” on CNBC.

“I think vaccines are one of the greatest medical breakthroughs that we had. I’m a big fan and a great fan of the history of the development of the smallpox vaccine, for example, but for most of our history they have been voluntary. So, I don’t think I’m arguing for anything out of the ordinary, we’re arguing for what most of our history has had” he said.

“I think public awareness of how good vaccines are for kids and how they are good for public health is a great idea, we just appointed a Surgeon General,” he continued. “These are some of the things that are things that we should promote as good for our health, but I don’t think there’s anything extraordinary about resorting to freedom.

“I’ll give you a good example, the Hepatitis B vaccine is now given to newborns. We sometimes give five and six vaccines all at one time. I chose to have my delayed. I don’t want my government telling me that I have to give my new newborn the Hepatitis B vaccine, which is transmitted by sexually transmitted disease and/or blood transfusions… so I had mine staggered over several months. I’ve heard of many tragic cases of walking, talking normal children who wound up with profound mental disorders after vaccines. I’m not arguing vaccines are a bad idea, I think they’re a good thing, but I think the parent should have some input. The state doesn’t own your children. Parents own the children and it is an issue of freedom.”

The discussion then turned to Paul’s proposed tax holiday that would allow companies who earn money overseas to bring it back to the US at a one-time corporate rate of 6.5 percent. (Read more about Rand Paul said HERE)

‘American Sniper’ Star Making Major Announcement for Veterans

American Sniper’s Bradley Cooper is scheduled to speak Friday at The National Geographic Society in Washington D.C. for the group “Got Your 6,” to help ensure military veterans are better represented through popular culture.

The organization plans to announce “6 Certified” badges in film crediting, which the group hopes will encourage content creators to avoid “negative, stereotypical or extreme depictions of veterans as ‘charity cases’ or ‘heroes” . . .

Major studios and producers will have an opportunity to earn a “6 Certified” badge that can be displayed during the end credits for a film or TV series, which will be awarded by a designated review committee on a quarterly basis.

Chris Marvin, executive director of Got Your 6, spoke of the group’s goals to reward the industry for accurately portraying veterans. “As Hollywood continues to tell powerful stories about veterans in the military, we want to acknowledge those who work hard to get it right,” he said . . .

Cooper, who has been nominated for an Academy Award for his portrayal of the late Chris Kyle in American Sniper, has been a longtime supporter of the group. (Read more about the announcement for veterans HERE)

Incredible: Mother Gives Birth on Side of the Highway

Photo Credit: AP A pregnant Utah woman driving herself to the hospital gave birth to a healthy, nearly 10-pound baby boy on the side of an interstate highway, police said.

Devi Mariah Ostler’s labor started Saturday before she got in the car, but soon became overwhelming and she called 911, Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Jalaine Hawkes said.

On a recording of the call, Ostler is initially calm, telling the dispatcher that she’s on the freeway, but soon interrupts herself to say her water broke.

“I’m trying to get over into the other lane — I need to push!” she said. She told the dispatcher her name and described her car, then said: “The baby is coming!” . . .

Police Chief Jean Loveland from the nearby town of Willard and Utah Highway Patrol trooper Josh Carr sped to the spot. Less than a minute after their arrival, she gave birth to a 9.9-pound baby boy. Cars can be heard speeding by on the recording as the baby is born and wrapped in a sweat shirt. (Read more about the how the mother gives birth on the side of the highway HERE)

11-Year-Old Uses Shotgun on Intruder in Home Invasion

Photo Credit: Mlive An 11-year-old girl was able to scare off a suspect — later taken into custody — during a home invasion in Lapeer County’s North Branch Township.

Deputies from the Lapeer County Sheriff’s Department responded around 3:45 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30 to a Five Lakes Road home where the girl was home alone when a vehicle pulled into the driveway.

A Lapeer County Sheriff’s Office news release states one person knocked on all the doors and forced their way inside the home when there was no response. The girl locked herself inside a bathroom and hid in a closet with a shotgun.

The suspect eventually opened the bathroom door and closet where the child was hiding with the weapon. The girl aimed the shotgun at the suspect, who then fled from the home. (Read more about the home invasion HERE)
