Trey Gowdy Just Sent a Brutal Wake-Up Call to Every Single Democrat – There’s No Escaping

Later this year, the House Select Committee is expected to issue its report pertaining to the mistakes made and what went wrong during the Benghazi attacks on September 11, 2012, which resulted in the death of four Americans.

Chairman of the committee Trey Gowdy has instructed members of the panel not to divulge any details of the report until it is complete. He did, however, release a statement via Twitter on Wednesday aimed at Democrats, who routinely brush off the scandal as trumped up politics.

Democrats have routinely downplayed the events which occurred that day, especially Hillary Clinton. Clinton famously yelled, “what difference, at this point, does it make?” during her appearance before the committee in 2015, despite being secretary of state at the time of the debacle . . .

The committee has held four hearings so far in order to determine specifically what failure occurred enabling the death of U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, Information Officer Sean Smith, and CIA operatives Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods. Hopefully the public will get answers before the end of the year. (Read more from “Trey Gowdy Just Sent a Brutal Wake-Up Call to Every Single Democrat – There’s No Escaping” HERE)

Hey Phony Cons, Blue State Conservatives Know All About #NewYorkValues

You are besieged and feel out of place. You thought you were pursuing the ideal American life. A life of God, family, property, business, and country – the life you grew up with. Yet, you feel like an alien surrounded by antithetical values promoted by all the levers of power in your city.

You are surrounded by endless crime with violent felons carrying guns but you are barred from carrying a weapon to protect yourself from the violence. Concurrently, the police are demonized for doing their job, and to the extent they succeed in apprehending the criminals, they are released by the leaky criminal justice system.

While violent felons reign supreme on the streets, you live in fear of the infinite myriad of state regulations on your small business, private property, and personal liberties.

Your state and city tackily promote transgender bathrooms and the broader officious homosexual agenda at every awkward turn, yet that same faux sense of “live and let live” never extends to your ability to purchase the soft drink you want, the gun of your choice, the goods and services you need – unless they are “green,” aka don’t work. Any “liberty” not associated with libertine cultural rotgut is infringed upon.

You pay endless taxes and fees on income, sales, property (and in Maryland, on rain) so that it can purvey the interminable cycle of poverty, anti-growth, and expelling of local businesses…which in turn creates more poverty and higher taxes.

While your city is no longer a sanctuary for your children to walk the streets safely and your business to prosper, it has become a sanctuary for illegal aliens and Islamic refugees.

Your children are trapped in schools where they are forced to worship multiculturalism and blame America first.

Yes, indeed, you are one of the millions of conservative blue-state-Americans (heck there is a hyphenated identity for everything!). In fact, you are likely one of those angry voters who have despaired over the corrupt and dyslexic priorities of our politicians and are attracted to the macro-messaging of Donald Trump.

Any real conservative living in a blue state understands this, yet phony conservatives like John Kasich and Donald Trump clearly don’t. It’s because they share many of those values.

Once again, Donald Trump rewarmed his feigned outrage routine over Ted Cruz’s comments about him subscribing to ‘New York values,’ something Trump himself readily admitted in that infamous “Meet the Press” interview. Now, even the lapdog for the strong man on the block, John Kasich’s Soros-funded Super PAC is getting in on the action. They are airing a TV ad in New York attacking Cruz over those comments and using Trump’s non-sequitur emotional distraction about 9/11 to obfuscate the broader point about New York’s (and other blue state’s) liberal politics.

Remember, when Kasich’s Super PAC ran the ad referring to Cruz as “Lyin’ Ted?” Can they at least be original or do they have to plagiarize every corny line from Trump?

What’s next? A Kasich ad in San Francisco praising “San Francisco values” and distracting with pictures of the workers building the Golden Gate Bridge?

In reality, both Trump and Kasich are quite similar in that they share New York values. Of course, Kasich’s donors, who are hooked into the Soros network, would be offended by Cruz’s remarks about the politics of New York. John Kasich himself shares many of those values as it relates to taxes, spending, guns, and illegal immigration. And he is from Ohio!

As a lifelong Marylander who has always lived in the Baltimore area, I fully appreciate what it’s like to be a conservative living in a social democratic utopia. Recently, I wrote an article explaining what it’s like to live in the “Baltimore basket case.” Were a presidential candidate to come to Maryland in the coming days and bemoan the Baltimore basket case and pledge to lead the federal government in the exact opposite direction, my conservative friends and neighbors in the area would identify and appreciate that message even more than red state conservatives. They would be far from offended.

In politics you know a man best by the nature of what offends them. (For more from the author of “Hey Phony Cons, Blue State Conservatives Know All About #NewYorkValues” please click HERE)

Bill Unloads on Obama: ‘World Coming Apart’

Former President Bill Clinton unloaded on the Obama administration and Black Lives Matter protesters during a campaign event Thursday for his wife in Pennsylvania.

Clinton took a veiled jab at Obama’s handling of world affairs, saying, “Unlike when I was president, a lot of things are coming apart around the world now. We like to just think about our economic issues, but you have to worry about a collapse in Europe dragging back the American economy. You have to worry about the largest number of refugees since World War II. And all this stuff comes home.”

As WND reported, the Clinton family has been unleashing a barrage of attacks on Obama in recent weeks. On March 21, Bill Clinton publicly lamented the “awful legacy” of the past eight years . . .

Then WND reported when Chelsea Clinton took a cue from her father and bashed Obama’s record to benefit her mother in March. Chelsea attacked the president’s key accomplishment – Obamacare.

She blasted the “crushing costs” of Obama’s health-care legislation: “This was part of my mom’s original plan back in ’93 and ’94, as well as premium costs. We can either do that directly or through tax credits. And, kind of figuring out whether she could do that through executive action, or she would need to do that through tax credits working with Congress. She thinks either of those will help solve the challenge of kind of the crushing costs that still exist for too many people, who even are part of the Affordable Care Act and buying insurance.” (Read more from “Bill Unloads on Obama: ‘World Coming Apart'” HERE)

Abortionist Strangled Baby Born Alive While Nurses Stood and Watched

On March 2, 1977, Mary arrived at Westminster Community Hospital for a saline abortion . . .

The abortionist injected the saline and then left, leaving the nurses to tend to Mary. It was common for abortion doctors to inject their patients with saline and then leave, forcing the nurses to bear the emotional brunt of the abortion procedures and to dispose of the dead babies. In this case, however, Mary gave birth to a living 2-lb., 8-oz. baby girl.

At first the nurse did not realize that the baby was still alive. She clamped the cord as normal and placed her in a bucket to be taken to the pathology lab. Then the baby began moving and crying. The nurses gathered around the baby. Unsure what to do, they summoned their supervisor, who called Dr. Waddill at home. Mary was not told that her baby had been born alive – the infant was whisked away from her before she realized what had happened . . .

Dr. Waddill requested potassium chloride to inject into the baby’s heart and stop it. Dr. Cornelson prevented the nurse from getting it. Waddill then discussed throwing the baby into a bucket of water . . .

Finally, Waddill began strangling the child in full view of Cornelson and other nurses. No one stopped him. He was quoted saying, “This baby won’t stop breathing!”…He did not lose his medical license. In fact, he continued to perform abortions, and as of the year 2000, he was working for the Family Planning Associates’ chain of abortion clinics. Congressman Says Washington Committee Seats Come at a Price

Every election cycle, U.S. Congressman Thomas Massie said he is “extorted” by the Republican Party to pay $300,000 for his committee assignments . . .

These “assessments,” essentially dues to the Republican party, are fundraised through political action committees and lobbyists as a price to pay for committee positions, Massie told a crowd of about 25 during a recent coffee and pizza forum in Flatwoods.

He told them, “I can’t go and do a fundraiser and raise $300,000 and stand up in front of people and tell them, ‘Well, you know what? It’s not really about the election. I need the money to buy a committee seat.’”

It’s not just that way with the Republican Party — Democrats are also expected to pay to be on certain committees, too, and the price tag steepens based on the power of both the committee and the seat. Powerful committee chairmanships can cost millions of dollars, Massie said.

Massie sits on three House committees: Oversight and Reform, Transportation and Infrastructure, and Science, Space and Technology. (Read more from “Congressman Says Washington Committee Seats Come at a Price” HERE)

Other D.C. Madam Associates Discuss Potential Election Bombshell

A former attorney for “D.C. madam” Deborah Jeane Palfrey kicked off a viral news speculation frenzy last week, claiming he possesses previously unreleased phone records that are “very relevant” to the presidential election and that he’s prepared to risk jail to release them.

Conversations with people close to the high-profile escort case corroborate some claims from Montgomery Blair Sibley about the nature of documents he says he possesses but have added uncertainty as to whether a presidential candidate actually is identified.

Sibley says he has two sets of records that he wants court permission to release: a set of raw phone records from Palfrey’s escort service with an estimated 5,000 unique numbers and a Verizon Wireless subpoena response with names, addresses and Social Security numbers of 815 of those callers.

On March 28, he offered the federal court system a soft two-week deadline to consider lifting a 2007 restraining order, lest he consider that order void and release records. He says he has loaded the records online with a 72-hour dead man’s switch, as he considers his next step.

Sibley told U.S. News in a Thursday interview that the Verizon subpoena response contains the purported bombshell. “In and of itself, it contains it, but there’s more to the story than just the response [and that additional information is in] the unknown 5,000,” he says. Reported Abortions at Record Low in Alaska

Alaska saw a record low number of reported abortions last year. According to the state’s Bureau of Vital Statistics 1,334 abortions were performed in 2015, the fewest since 2003 when Alaska began recording data.

Last year’s figures represent a 12 percent drop over 2014 and a nearly 32 percent reduction from a decade ago when 1,956 abortions were reported. The state’s statistics are based on forms submitted from across Alaska by abortion practitioners who are required by law to report the procedures.

The decreased abortions reflect a larger trend across the nation. In December the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) reported that the U.S. abortion rate has dropped by more than one-third during the two decades between 1990 and 2010.

Since the U.S. Supreme Court legalized abortion 43 years ago in Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, there have been more than 58 million abortions.

CAUSES OF ABORTION DECLINE

While difficult to pin down the exact reasons why abortion numbers appear to be dropping in Alaska and across the nation, some pro-life leaders point to legislation protecting the right to life, as well as a larger cultural shift in which younger Americans are increasingly standing up for unborn babies.

“People’s attitudes and actions regarding abortion have changed,” Randall O’Bannon, director of education and research for the National Right to Life Educational Trust Fund, told CBS News.

According to a 2015 report from LifeSiteNews, more than 230 pro-life laws have been enacted across the United States since 2010.

In 2005 Alaska approved a law requiring the state to maintain an abortion information website and abortion practitioners to provide women with information on fetal development and possible risks associated with abortion. The state website includes information about the abortion-breast cancer link.

Additionally, in 2010 Alaska enacted a parental notice law that requires an abortionist to notify the parent of a minor before performing an abortion, unless the minor is the victim of abuse, there is a medical emergency or she obtains a court order. Consent of the parent is not required before the minor’s abortion.

Additional laws recognize the humanity of the unborn in Alaska. The state allows for “Choose Life” specialty license plates, and under Alaska’s criminal law an unborn child may be considered a victim of murder, manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide. Alaska also criminalizes nonfatal assaults on the unborn and allows a wrongful death lawsuit if an unborn child is born alive following a negligent or criminal act and dies thereafter.

Also, Alaska provides immunity for parents who leave an unharmed newborn with police, medical personnel, emergency services personnel or any person the parent believes will act in the baby’s best interest.

In the case of a stillbirth, Alaska law requires that parents be advised that they may request a “Certificate of Birth Resulting in Stillbirth.”

TEENS & THE UNMARRIED

Of the 1,334 Alaska abortions in 2015, there were 42 performed on teens, ages 15 to 17 — a drop from 68 in 2014. There were four abortions on girls under age 15, compared to six in 2014 and nine in 2013. Overall there were 110 teen abortions last year, down from 145 in 2014.

Alaska’s figures mirror a decrease in teen abortions nationally. The latest CDC figures show declining rates for teenagers 15-19, a group that saw a 12.3 percent drop in one year. All together, teens 15-19 saw a drop of 40.4 percent between 2003 and 2012.

Alaskan women in their 20s were, by far, the largest group to obtain abortions. They accounted for 806 abortions or nearly 60 percent. Unmarried women were more likely to get abortions than married. More than 80 percent of women who obtained abortions in 2015 were unmarried, while 18.5 percent were married. Across the U.S., the most recent information shows 85 percent of women who obtained abortions were unmarried.

RACE & ETHNICITY

As in past years, minorities in Alaska are over-represented in the state’s latest report. Black, Asian/Pacific Islander and Alaska Native women are more likely to undergo an abortion than their white counterparts.

Asian/ Pacific Islanders accounted for 8.6 percent of Alaska abortions in 2015 but only comprised 7.4 percent of the state’s population according to the latest U.S. Census figures. Similarly, black Alaskans account for 7.6 percent of abortions, while making up only 3.9 percent of the population. Nearly 19 percent of abortions take place on Alaska Natives, while this group makes up fewer than 15 percent of the overall population. These trends are reversed when it comes to white Alaskans which make up nearly 67 percent of the population but only procure 60.7 percent of the abortions.

Pro-life advocates have long pointed to the high number of minority abortions as a reason for greater outreach and support for these groups.

“More pro-life outreach clearly needs to be done to these minority communities,” Carol Tobias, president of the National Right to Life Committee, said earlier this year. “The availability and awareness of realistic alternatives to abortion are critical to these communities.”

AGE OF UNBORN BABY

According to the state’s report, the vast majority of abortions last year took place from the fifth week through the fourth month of pregnancy. As in recent years, more than 25 percent of those abortions were performed using RU-486. The high-powered mix of synthetic hormones causes the unborn baby’s nourishing placenta to detach from the uterine wall and induces contractions.

RU-486 is typically used for up to about two months gestation. According to the state’s report, 341 abortions were done using this method which requires at least three trips to the abortion facility. After the first round of drugs is administered in the clinic, up to 30 percent of women abort later at home or work, and as many as five days later.

There are serious and well-documented medical side effects of RU-486 abortions, including prolonged, severe bleeding and life-threatening systemic infection. According to a 2011 FDA report, 14 women in the United States have died from using the mifepristone abortion drug and 2,207 women have been injured by it.

Despite these dangers — which increase with the age of the unborn baby — the increased use of RU-486 across the nation coincides with a push by Planned Parenthood for its expanded use.

PAIN OF ABORTION

In most cases — 936 — abortion practitioners in Alaska report using suction curettage or vacuum aspiration. In those surgical abortions, an abortionist vacuums the unborn baby from womb with a high-powered suction machine. In the process, the baby’s body is torn apart and he or she dies.

According to the 2015 report, there were 52 dilation and evacuation abortions in Alaska. In D&E abortions, the abortionist, using a long clamp, grasps the limbs of the unborn baby and tears them off, and the baby dies.

Increasing awareness of the methods of abortion and the unborn baby’s capacity for pain has led to legislative efforts to safeguard women and children. For instance, there are federal and state bans — including in Alaska — on partial-birth abortion, and some states have enacted laws allowing women to choose anesthesia for their babies being aborted.

PUBLIC FUNDING OF ABORTIONS

Alaska taxpayers are required by court order to fund “medically necessary” abortions for women eligible for public assistance through Medicaid. This requirement essentially equates to funding abortion-on-demand for any reason. Legislative efforts to limit and specify what constitutes “medically necessary” were struck down by the Alaska Supreme Court last year. In 2015, 438 of all Alaska abortions (33 percent) were paid for through state Medicaid funds. (For more from the author of “Reported Abortions at Record Low in Alaska” please click HERE)

George Strait is widely recognized as the “King of Country”, but there’s a side of George Strait many have not seen.

For over twenty-five years, Strait’s sultry voice, coupled with his inspiring lyrics and killer smile, have uplifted and encouraged millions of hearts across the country.

Although the famous cowboy seems to have it all, Strait’s life tells the story of someone who’s struggled against all odds — and overcame . . .

George Strait has recorded more Number One hits than any other artist in history (including Elvis), and has sold over 70 million albums. But like many Americans of our day, Strait was raised in a broken family.

Little George Harvey Strait was only a third-grader when his parents divorced and his mother tragically left him behind. His mother moved away with his sister, Pency, while George and his older brother John, Jr. “Buddy” were raised by their father. Trump Just Unleashed a Shocking New Allegation About Who’s REALLY Behind Cruz’s Campaign

The Trump campaign stated on Wednesday that Sen. Ted Cruz is really just a tool of the Bush family, and that the Republican establishment will abandon him at the convention in Cleveland.

The Trump campaign issued a statement on Tuesday night following their candidate’s defeat to the Texas senator in Wisconsin saying, “Ted Cruz is worse than a puppet— he is a Trojan horse, being used by the party bosses attempting to steal the nomination from Mr. Trump.”

Trump campaign spokeswoman Katrina Pierson picked up on this line of reasoning on Wednesday morning, while appearing on Fox News’ American Newsroom.

“The Bush people are now running Sen. Cruz’s campaign — Neil Bush, who’s spent millions of dollars invested with Common Core, and all of these other special interest groups like Goldman Sachs, like hedge fund managers,” she said, referring to Jeb Bush’s brother, who joined Cruz’s finance team last month. “This is going to be a very serious problem if Sen. Cruz continues to go down this path and then neither Trump or Cruz becomes the nominee.”

The current delegate count following Cruz’s victory over Trump in the Badger State is Trump 743, Cruz 517, and Gov. John Kasich 143. There are 882 delegates yet to be allocated. Trump needs 494 to get to the 1,237 required to secure the nomination, while Cruz needs 720.

Pierson told Fox News that “many in the establishment” have made clear they do not intend to support Cruz in a contested convention. “When you have the establishment backing you so reluctantly to the point to where you have people endorsing you that said that you would get murdered on the Senate floor and nobody would care and the difference between Donald Trump and Ted Cruz is being stabbed or shot, their loyalty is not with Sen. Cruz,” said the spokeswoman, referring to past statements made by Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., who has endorsed Cruz.
