In this heated presidential race where being “fit” and “stable” have become terms in the arsenal of both campaigns, startling photographs emerged Sunday showing Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton apparently getting help in climbing up some stairs. . .

Mrs. Clinton has a history of falling. After fainting and falling in 2013 while U.S. secretary of state, she was treated for a blood clot in a vein in her head at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia hospital. . . In 2009, she fell on her way to the White House and broke her elbow.

Last month, the American Mirror reported a coughing fit that broke out as someone else was speaking during an appearance. . . She had a huge coughing fit during a speech in New York City.

Then, in a visit to Las Vegas, she wore thick, black glasses fitted with Fresnel prisms. . .Dr. Todd Lasner, a neurosurgeon at Mount Sinai Medical in Miami [said,] “Fresnel prisms are typically used to correct double vision, to refract light through the prism so you can see a single image as you are normally used to seeing. Trump in Trouble Over ‘Second Amendment’ Remark

Donald Trump on Tuesday said “the Second Amendment people” may be the only way to stop Hillary Clinton from getting to appoint federal judges if she wins the presidential election in November.

“Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish, the Second Amendment,” he said as an aside while smiling. “By the way, and if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know. But I’ll tell you what, that will be a horrible day.”

The reference to the Second Amendment, the right to keep and bear arms, could be interpreted as a joke about using violence to stop Clinton or her judicial picks.

Trump was speaking at a rally in Wilmington, North Carolina, where he repeated his regular claim that Clinton intends to “abolish” the Second Amendment, presumably by appointing liberal justices to the Supreme Court. But Trump punctuated that line with an aside, suggesting that Second Amendment supporters might be in a position to stop her even if she’s elected.

The Trump campaign rejected the notion that Trump was inciting violence against Clinton or anyone else with his aside at the Wilmington rally. Instead, the campaign said the Manhattan billionaire was simply appealing to the collective political muscle Second Amendment supporters possess. GOP Buzzing About Fiorina as RNC Head

Carly Fiorina’s quiet outreach to state party chairs in recent days has top Republicans speculating that she’s laying the groundwork for a Republican National Committee chairmanship bid.

Fiorina’s advisers have reached out to more than a dozen state parties telling them that the former GOP presidential hopeful is prepared to help in “any way,” offering up her personal phone number, and informing them that she would like to connect with their respective state party chairperson.

She is expected to spend much of August on a cross-country blitz. Her travel will take her to Virginia, where she will co-host an event in Virginia with Ed Gillespie, a former RNC chair who is running for governor in 2017. The event, which is being sponsored by Gillespie’s political action committee, is being billed as “a conversation about job creation and economic growth.” Also slated to attend is Morton Blackwell, a conservative activist from Virginia who has served as an RNC member for nearly three decades.

She will also be in Colorado, where party officials are in the process of finalizing a campaign event featuring her and endangered GOP Rep. Mike Coffman, and Louisiana, where Fiorina is expected to assist state legislative hopefuls. Next month, she is slated to be in Michigan for the Kent County Lincoln Day dinner. Holy War: Government Tries to Control Church Sermons

An Iowa church just wants to be free to preach the gospel, but the state’s so-called nondiscrimination requirements could block the house of worship from doing just that.

Lawyers for the church are asking a federal court to prevent Iowa from censoring what the religious group can say about homosexuality, same-sex “marriage,” transgenderism and other related topics.

The case erupted when the state’s Civil Rights Commission first claimed the authority to control the content of sermons and then to define what’s religious.

At issue is the state’s nondiscrimination requirements that specify any “public accommodation” can be ordered not to say anything that might make a homosexual or a transgender feel “unwelcome,” such as even reading from the Bible a condemnation of such behavior.

Lawyers for the Alliance Defending Freedom, who are representing the church, have filed a reply in support of their motion for a preliminary injunction that would protect the church members’ constitutional rights while the case plays out. Clinton Congratulates Muslim Athlete for Competing in Hijab, Ignores Others Who Won Medals

When Ibtihaj Muhammad revealed this week that she would participate in the Olympics while dressed in her Muslim attire, she received a lot of attention.

On Monday, Muhammad, a member of the U.S. fencing team, became the first American Olympian to compete wearing a hijab.

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton showed her support for the Muslim athlete by tweeting her congratulations.

However, several people were critical of Clinton’s tweet.

Much of the criticism stemmed from the fact that while Clinton congratulated Muhammad for simply competing in a hijab, she declined to acknowledge other American athletes who actually earned medals in Rio de Janeiro.

Muhammad won her debut match against Ukraine athlete Olena Kravatska but then was defeated by Cecilia Berder of France.

The first U.S. gold medal was won Saturday by 19-year-old Ginny Thrasher, who competed in the 10-meter air rifle event. She received no congratulations from Clinton. Instead, many on the left complained about the fact that an Olympic event involves the use of firearms.

Clinton did, however, issue a tweet Monday congratulating swimmer Katie Ledecky on her gold medal win.

Although Muhammad was eliminated from competition, she had a positive attitude afterward, saying, “There is that silver lining in the sense that you do have that team event. I know that the Americans didn’t perform in the way that we wanted, but I love my team, I love my teammates and I believe in them.”

Orlando Terrorist’s Father Shows His Support for Hillary Clinton

The father of Orlando terrorist Omar Mateen, who killed 49 people and wounded 53 others in a June 12 attack in the Pulse nightclub, attended a recent rally for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Seddique Mateen was visible seated behind Clinton in the crowd at a rally in Kissimmee, Fla., just south of Orlando.

Mateen, who was spotted by a local news crew at the event, did not want to speak at length when interviewed at the rally.

“We’ve been cooperating with the federal government, and that’s about it,” he said. “Thank you.”

However, when the same crew ran into him later in the evening, he wanted to show a sign he had made supporting Clinton.

Mateen, who in the past has voiced support for the Taliban, said he is voting for her over Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

“Hillary Clinton is good for United States versus Donald Trump, who has no solutions,” he said.

Mateen was asked whether the Clinton campaign knew he was coming.

“It’s a Democratic party, so everyone can join,” he said.

Asked whether he thought people would be surprised to see him so close to the community where his son killed so many people, Mateen deflected the question.

“Why should they be surprised? I love the United States, and I’ve been living here a long time,” Mateen said.

An official with the Clinton campaign said the campaign was not aware Mateen was in attendance until after the event.

Mateen’s attendance and open support of Clinton rubbed one commentator the wrong way.

“Not only does Hillary have people who love killing babies supporting her, but she now has family members of Islamic jihadists on her side,” wrote John S. Roberts on Young Conservatives. “And some people are still #WithHer?”

Hillary Aide Cheryl Mills OK’D Oil Deal That Put $500K in Bill’s Pocket

Then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton publicly defended an embattled banker during an official visit to Bangladesh while Clinton Foundation officials tried to steer money from an Abu Dhabi oil company into the banker’s coffers.

A Daily Caller News Foundation investigation traced the convoluted payment by TAQA — formally known as the the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company — to Muhammad Yunus’ Grameen Bank. Yunus is a long-time friend and Clinton Foundation donor.

The oil company deal eventually put as much as $500,000 into President Bill Clinton’s pockets via a speaking fee he got in Scotland.

The complicated set of international transactions is contained in a cryptic May 7, 2012, email chain between Cheryl Mills, then Hillary Clinton’s chief of staff, and Amitabh Desai, the Clinton Foundation’s foreign policy director. The email chain was obtained by Citizens United, the conservative activist group that is the lead plaintiff in multiple federal Freedom of Information Act court cases.

TAQA is a huge oil and gas company 74 percent owned by the Abu Dhabi government that operates in 11 countries, including Canada and the United States. The firm in 2010 won the first of three “blanket agreements” with the Obama administration to import billions of cubic feet of natural gas from Canada into the United States. Boy Killed on Water Slide ‘Believed in His Savior, Jesus, and They Are Forever Together’

Caleb Schwab, the 10-year-old who died while riding a water slide at Schlitterbahn water park on Sunday, is with Jesus, his parents say. Kansas state congressman Scott Schwab and his wife Michele released a statement Sunday night through their pastor.

Since the day he was born, he brought abundant joy to our family and all those who he came into contact with. As we try and mend our home with him no longer with us, we are comforted knowing he believed in his Savior, Jesus, and they are forever together now. We will see him another day.

They added, “Your continued prayers are welcome and appreciated. We appreciate your understanding of our family’s need for privacy during this difficult time of grieving.”

Caleb a Man of God

Caleb was riding the Verrückt, billed as the “world’s tallest water slide,” when he suffered a fatal neck injury. The slide drops riders over 168 feet, compels them up another hill, then plummets them “another gut wrenching 50 foot drop,” according to Schlitterbahn’s website.

The park has been closed temporarily and the Verrückt has been closed to allow officials to investigate, said park spokeswoman Winter Prosapio. She added that the park’s staff is saddened that “a young boy died on Verrückt. … Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.”

Schwab family pastor Clint Sprague considered Caleb to be “a man of God.” Caleb “was an incredible young man,” he said. “Ten years old, full of life, loved baseball, basketball, soccer. OOPS: Top Clinton Foundation Official Revealed to Have Asked Clinton Aides For “Favors” for Donors

Newly released State Department emails appear to show that a top Clinton Foundation official asked Hillary Clinton’s State Department aides for favors for two individuals — controversial multi-million dollar Clinton Foundation donor and for an unnamed associate.

The April 2009 exchanges, which the State Department provided to the watchdog group Judicial Watch, will likely raise more questions about conflicts of interest between the former secretary of state and her family charity.

In one exchange, Doug Band, the former “body man” to Bill Clinton, forwarded an email from an associate to Hillary Clinton aides Huma Abedin, Nora Toiv, and Cheryl Mills.

The unidentified individual had sent an email to Band with the subject line: “A favor.”

Why Is the VA Spending Millions on Solar Panels While Veterans Die?

The environmental religion of the radical Left has infected the Department of Veterans Affairs management, at the grave expense of veterans.

After news recently broke that the VA spent millions of dollars on high-end art purchases over the past eight years, the Washington Free Beacon, per a Veterans Affairs audit, reports the VA spent over $408 million on solar panels since 2010 while neglected veterans were dying waiting for care.

The solar panel projects have experienced “significant delays,” with some of these systems completely inoperable:

The watchdog conducted an audit of 11 of the 15 solar projects awarded between fiscal years 2010 and 2013 that were still in progress as of May last year. The investigation, which was completed in March, found that only two of the 11 solar panel projects were fully completed. […]

The contracts for the 11 projects reviewed by investigators totaled about $95 million, though some have become more expensive because of poor planning and delays. The VA spent more than $408 million on its “green management program” solar panel projects between fiscal years 2010 and 2015, according to annual budget records.

While the VA was wasting hundreds of millions of dollars on these exorbitant vanity projects, employees were manipulating hospital records to cover up the distressing wait times for service.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has made VA reform a key tenet of his campaign. Among Trump’s proposed reforms are increased funding for PTSD services, job training and placement services, firing “incompetent and corrupt” VA executives, and “modernizing” VA operations.

But proponents of the same enviro-Marxist ideology that thought solar panels on federal buildings were more important than veterans’ healthcare services have come out swinging against Trump. The Washington Examiner reports that following Trump’s economic policy speech in Detroit Monday, an environmentalist group blasted the remarks for “doubl[ing] down on dirty fuels.”

Billionaire activist Tom Steyer’s group NextGen Climate immediately criticized Trump’s ideas as the policies of an all-white, all-male policy team, which offers “nothing ‘new’ or ‘fresh,'” but only looks to protect corporate profits for big polluters.

“The Trump economic agenda — developed by Trump’s all-male, all-white economic advisory team — doubles down on dirty fossil fuels and ignores the enormous economic opportunities presented by clean energy,” the group said.

While the radical Left is free to take shots at anyone it so pleases, the real-world consequences of environmental zealotry continue to be felt throughout the Department of Veterans Affairs.
