Colin Kaepernick Lands $1 Million Deal

Colin Kaepernick is hoping to score a book deal in order to stay relevant now that he no longer has a job as a quarterback in the NFL.

Kaepernick started the national anthem protest back at the start of the 2016-17 season when he was a backup quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers. After the season, Kaepernick opted out of his contract, made a statement through his reps that he would not continue the protest if he was picked up on another team, but nobody wanted him anyways.

The controversial quarterback is still the face of the movement, which fewer and fewer players continue week by week. Now, as some sort of cry out to remain relevant, the former NFL player is looking for a book deal. (Read more from “Colin Kaepernick Lands $1 Million Deal” HERE)

O’Reilly Claims a Tape Exists of Lawyer Offering Money to Woman to Accuse Trump of Harassment

By Justin Caruso. Bill O’Reilly claimed in an interview Tuesday that a recording exists of an “anti-Trump” lawyer offering money to a woman to accuse Donald Trump of sexual harassment during the presidential campaign.

O’Reilly told Newsmax that a tape exists where a female attorney offers $200,000 to a woman to accuse Trump of sexual harassment before the election.

He said, “It exists. We have urged the person who has the tape to hand it over to the U.S. attorney, because my investigative team believes there are three separate crimes on the audio tape.”

O’Reilly added, “it’s related to my situation.” (Read more from “O’Reilly Claims a Tape Exists of Lawyer Offering Money to Woman to Accuse Trump of Harassment” HERE)

Bill O’Reilly: Tape Shows Anti-Trump Lawyer Offered Cash for Sex Claims

By David A. Patten. Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly has revealed to Newsmax new details of what he said was “shocking” efforts to attack President Trump’s reputation.

O’Reilly says his information also raises serious questions about the motives behind new allegations that have been made against him.

O’Reilly told Newsmax on Monday that investigators working for him had uncovered an audio recording of “an anti-Trump attorney” offering an unidentified woman $200,000 to file sexual harassment charges against then-presidential candidate Donald J. Trump . . .

O’Reilly tells Newsmax his attorneys have listened to the tape. O’Reilly stated he is not in possession of the recording, but the conversation is believed to have taken place before last year’s presidential election. Maryland Retirement Community Only Sold Homes to Muslims

A housing development in Maryland is mired in contradicting legal grievances from city officials and residents after it marketed and sold homes only to Muslims.

A developer for River Run, a housing development along the Gunpowder river in Joppatowne, Md., filed a lawsuit against Hartford county officials in September, alleging that its refusal to continue issuing building permits for the project was discriminatory against Muslims. However, defendants allege that the developers conspired to create an exclusively Islamic community by selling only to Muslims, according to the Washington Post.

Developer Faheem Younus partnered with Bill Luther in 2016, after Younus’s previous development partner bowed out. Younus and Luther then marketed the housing development and sold 22 lots only to Ahmadiyya Muslims, with the aim of creating a retirement community specifically for that sect of Islam.

“There are many Jewish, Christian communities — we’re not reinventing the wheel here,” Younus told WaPo. (Read more from “Maryland Retirement Community Only Sold Homes to Muslims” HERE)

Michael Moore’s Anti-Trump Broadway Show Fails

Michael Moore’s politically-charged Broadway show failed to bring in the big bucks at the box office.

Moore’s “The Terms of My Surrender” brought in $4.2 million during its 13-week run, according to BroadwayWorld.com, but the site reports that’s less than half of what the play had the potential to make.

The show closed this last weekend.

The liberal documentary maker’s play focused on Moore’s life and criticism of President Trump.

In comparison, “The Glass Menagerie,” the play that ran at the same theater before Moore’s show, brought in $5.4 million with 85 performances. Moore’s show had a total of 83 performances. (Read more from “Michael Moore’s Anti-Trump Broadway Show Fails” HERE)

Trump Flings Open U.S. Doors to Refugees From All Countries

America’s refugee door is swinging back open Tuesday as the Trump administration said it will now accept refugees from all countries into the U.S., with more stringent vetting for newcomers from 11 unidentified “high-risk nations.”

President Trump signed an executive order Tuesday imposing more enhanced vetting procedures for the refugee applicants from the 11 nations.

While officials refused to name the 11 high-risk nations, the Washington Times reported that they include Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Mali, North Korea, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. Applicants from those nations will be required to show that they will contribute to America’s national interests before refugee status can be granted.

“There will be a general resumption of refugee admissions under this exec order,” a senior administration official told Fox News. “While that review is ongoing, refugee admissions from the 11 countries will be considered on a case-by-case basis and poses [sic] no threat to the welfare of the United States.”

In June, President Trump ordered that the Department of Homeland Security establish an “extreme vetting” process to ensure “radical Islamic terrorists” won’t enter the U.S. while claiming refugee status. The president instituted a 120-day freeze on the refugee program, but that freeze expired Tuesday. (Read more from “Trump Flings Open U.S. Doors to Refugees From All Countries” HERE)

City Uses ‘Dirty Play’ to Squelch Citizen Revolt Over Refugees

What happened at the St. Cloud, Minnesota, City Council on Monday night is being described as a well-organized “ambush” designed to shut down a citizen uprising or “pocket of resistance” against runaway refugee resettlement in the small city.

College-age students filled the council chambers. Only five people were allowed to approach the podium and speak, all of them in favor of unlimited refugee resettlement with no accountability to the taxpayer . . .

And the local Somali community is now celebrating.

It all started when several of the council members who support unlimited refugee resettlement with no financial accountability to the taxpayer were informed that one of their colleagues, Councilman Jeff Johnson, planned to introduce a resolution at their Nov. 6 meeting calling for a moratorium on all resettlements in St. Cloud until an economic impact study could be completed.

Johnson’s resolution would also require the city to verify that it is in full compliance with all facets of the federal Refugee Act of 1980 as signed by then-president Jimmy Carter. (Read more from “City Uses ‘Dirty Play’ to Squelch Citizen Revolt Over Refugees” HERE)

Students Branded ‘Hate-Group’ for Traditional Marriage Stance

A Catholic student group at Georgetown University could be stripped of its funding for its belief in traditional marriage.

Love Saxa, a group that advocates for marriage between a man and a woman, is under fire from LGBTQ groups on campus, PRIDE and Queer People of Color, according to The Hoya, Georgetown’s student publication. A pro-choice student senator filed a notice on September 25, arguing Love Saxa’s definition of marriage and relationships violates university standards by fostering hatred or intolerance.

The notice, which would identify Love Saxa as a hate group, could strip Love Saxa of its funding and bar it from using campus facilities. The group receives $250 a year from the Georgetown, which is the country’s oldest Catholic university.

Love Saxa petiioned for a delay because it was not given enough time to defend itself and had not seen the notice, according to the Catholic News Agency. A hearing, originally set for Monday, is now scheduled for Oct. 30.

The controversy began last month, when the president of Love Saxa, Amelia Irvine, published an op-ed titled “Confessions of a College Virgin” in The Hoya, talking about abstinence before marriage and the group’s definition of marriage. Governor Reverses Ban on Men in Women’s Bathrooms

By Bob Unruh. Democratic North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper has completed the reversal of state legislation that barred men from women’s public restrooms and showers.

The move is drawing a warning from one of the state’s most prominent personalities: Franklin Graham.

The CEO and president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse commented Monday via Facebook after Cooper signed an executive order allowing people to use facilities according to their “gender identity” rather that biological sex.

“North Carolinians have been betrayed by Governor Roy Cooper. The people of this state are now going to be exposed to pedophiles and sexually perverted men in women’s public restrooms,” Graham wrote. (Read more from “Governor Reverses Ban on Men in Women’s Bathrooms” HERE)

NC Governor Signs Order Allowing ‘Gender Identity’ to Determine Bathroom Use

By Townhall. The back and forth between the state’s legislature and former governor on one side and proponents of the LGBT community on the other seems to have come to an end. North Carolina’s current governor, Gov. Roy Cooper (D-NC), signed an executive order on Thursday that forces businesses to allow men and women to choose whichever bathroom they prefer.

North Carolina’s former Republican governor, Pat McCrory, prevented the transgender bathroom policy from moving forward and received backlash from politicians on the Left, celebrities and musicians stating they would not perform in the state, and sports organizations like the NBA.

While the executive order is now in effect, conservative and religious groups are pushing back against the measure. At the same time, members of the LGBT community are still not happy with Gov. Cooper as they do not believe the executive order goes far enough.

Earlier this year Gov. Cooper signed HB 142 into law. HB 142 was meant to weaken the HB 2 legislation that was signed into law by former Gov. McCrory. Initially, HB 142 kept the provision that stated men and women could only use showers and bathrooms that aligned with the sex that was found on their birth certificate. The executive order has now removed that provision but does not repeal HB 2 entirely, which the LGBT community wants to see. Attorney: How Robert Mueller Tried to Entrap Me

Is special counsel Robert S. Mueller III, appointed in mid-May to lead the investigation into suspected ties between Donald Trump’s campaign and various shady (aren’t they all?) Russian officials, the choirboy that he’s being touted to be, or is he more akin to a modern-day Tomas de Torquemada, the Castilian Dominican friar who was the first Grand Inquisitor in the 15th Century Spanish Inquisition?. . .

But I have known Mueller during key moments of his career as a federal prosecutor. My experience has taught me to approach whatever he does in the Trump investigation with a requisite degree of skepticism or, at the very least, extreme caution.

When Mueller was the acting United States Attorney in Boston, I was defense counsel in a federal criminal case in which a rather odd fellow contacted me to tell me that he had information that could assist my client. He asked to see me, and I agreed to meet. He walked into my office wearing a striking, flowing white gauze-like shirt and sat down across from me at the conference table. He was prepared, he said, to give me an affidavit to the effect that certain real estate owned by my client was purchased with lawful currency rather than, as Mueller’s office was claiming, the proceeds of illegal drug activities.

My secretary typed up the affidavit that the witness was going to sign. Just as he picked up the pen, he looked at me and said something like: “You know, all of this is actually false, but your client is an old friend of mine and I want to help him.” As I threw the putative witness out of my office, I noticed, under the flowing white shirt, a lump on his back – he was obviously wired and recording every word between us.

Years later I ran into Mueller, and I told him of my disappointment in being the target of a sting where there was no reason to think that I would knowingly present perjured evidence to a court. Mueller, half-apologetically, told me that he never really thought that I would suborn perjury, but that he had a duty to pursue the lead given to him. (That “lead,” of course, was provided by a fellow that we lawyers, among ourselves, would indelicately refer to as a “scumbag.”) (Read more from “Silverglate: How Robert Mueller Tried to Entrap Me” HERE)

Rock Throwing ‘Teens’ Kill Man on Interstate

Authorities say several teens are in custody and being questioned in connection to the throwing of a rock off an I-75 overpass which killed a 32-year-old Michigan man.

Kenneth Andrew White, 32, of Mount Morris Township, was in a van Wednesday heading south on I-75 when the windshield was struck by a large rock in Vienna Township, police said. The rock went through the windshield and hit White, who was in the passenger seat. He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

Authorities said four other cars were struck with large rocks and were waiting for police to arrive when the van was hit. No other injuries were reported.

Officials said it’s been an intense homicide investigation. They are asking for information from anyone who has heard anything about the incident. (Read more from “Rock Throwing Teens Kill Man on Interstate” HERE)
