Parents Take 30-Year-Old Freeloading Son to Supreme Court Because He Won’t Leave Their Home

Mark and Christina Rotondo say their unemployed son, Michael Rotondo, does not pay rent and does not help out around the house and they want him out — they have even offered him cash to leave . . .

The Rotondo’s have issued five notices of eviction and now have a case before the New York state Supreme Court, Fox News reported. Which means the parents have been denied in lower courts.

Michael Rotondo contends that the five written notices did not provide him with a reasonable amount of time to vacate, citing a previous case as precedent “that there is a Common law requirement of six-month notice to quit before tenant may be removed through ejectment action.”
