Billionaire and Liberal Operative George Soros Laments Hillary’s Loss, Failure of His Other Agendas

Billionaire and liberal operative George Soros says some of his agendas are being ruined now that Donald Trump is president.

“Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong,” Soros said in a Washington Post report.

For instance, Hillary Clinton’s loss to Trump put a serious ding in Soros’ globalist agenda. Overseas, the European Union faces the impending pull-out of Britain and a rising anti-immigrant sentiment. Soros has also become a political target in elections from Hungary to California. At times, his donations at times are used against causes he supports, the report states. . .

Soros, the Post pointed out, is often described as “an all-powerful puppet master, a Nazi sympathizer and the person controlling the Democratic Party.”

Soros, a Hungary native, became “one of the world’s wealthiest people by managing hedge funds and betting on currency changes,” the report stated. (Read more from “Billionaire and Liberal Operative George Soros Laments Hillary’s Loss, Failure of His Other Agendas” HERE)

Crossfit Exec Fired for Claiming LGBTQ ‘Pride Is a Sin’ Speaks out — and He’s Holding Nothing Back

Russell Berger, CrossFit’s de-facto spokesman, was fired last week after he praised the decision of a CrossFit gym in Indianapolis that chose not to host a workout for the city’s pride week.

“As someone who personally believes celebrating ‘pride’ is a sin, I’d like to personally encourage #CrossFitInfiltrate for standing by their convictions and refusing to host an @indypride workout,” read a now-deleted tweet that led to Berger’s termination. . .

During an interview with Apologia Radio, Berger did not backdown from his personal views, but expressed dismay with his decision to voice them in a public way that put his company — and its employees — in a compromising position. . .

“I put my company in a position that I wish I hadn’t. I put them in a position where they felt they had to weigh in on something that they otherwise wouldn’t have and I regret that. I think it distracts them from their mission and takes away time and energy and resources from making people fitter and healthier which is what they should be doing. I regret that,” he explained. . .

“The misrepresentation is that that makes me a homophobic bigot who hates gay people and doesn’t want them involved in the CrossFit world. That’s so far from the truth. I love the people in the LGBTQ community and I want them to know Christ. That means being honest about the fact that we are all sinners and we need to not revel in our sin but turn from it, and trust in Him,” he said. France Bashes ‘Incoherent’ Trump for Withdrawing From G-7 Trade Agreement. Here’s What They Said.

By The Blaze. France released a statement on Sunday condemning President Donald Trump for withdrawing from a previously agreed-upon statement by all seven nations in the Group of Seven.

Trump announced the withdrawal on Saturday via Twitter after Canadian Prime Minster Justin Trudeau said his country would move forward with retaliatory tariffs against the U.S. in response to tariffs Trump recently implemented. . .

In a statement, French President Emmanuel Macron’s office said all of Europe, which includes four of the G-7 nations, are standing in solidarity behind the communique agreed upon during last week’s G-7 summit in Canada.

“We spent two days to obtain a text and commitments. We will stand by them and anyone who would depart from them, once their back was turned, shows their incoherence and inconsistency,” the statement said, according to Politico EU, which quoted a French publication. Typhoon Trump Blows G7 off Course

By Politico. As host of this year’s G7 summit, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau seemed to have just one over-arching goal: to get through the gathering without U.S. President Donald Trump blasting it to pieces. Trudeau succeeded — for all of about 90 minutes.

Just an hour and a half after Trudeau finished his concluding news conference, an irate Trump tweeted that he had “instructed our U.S. reps not to endorse the Communique” and threatened to impose tariffs on automobiles. He accused Trudeau of making “false statements” to the press.

Other G7 officials said Trump was too late. The communiqué was agreed, the summit done, the leaders packing up or already gone — like Trump himself, who tweeted his fury en route to Singapore to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Technically, the others may be right. But from a political perspective, Trump’s rant — and his proven willingness to tear up international agreements — effectively rendered the leaders’ joint declaration moot. (Read more from “Typhoon Trump Blows G7 off Course” HERE)

Hundreds of Concealed Carry Permits Revoked After State Employee’s Negligence Revealed

Florida authorities have revoked hundreds of concealed carry permits after it was discovered the permittees were legally ineligible to receive their permit, but slipped through the cracks due to one state employee’s negligence. . .

The Office of Inspector General investigation for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services said in a June 2017 report that in Feb. 2016, the employee in charge of running concealed carry permit applicants through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System stopped doing so.

The reason? Because that employee was unable to log into the system. And unfortunately, it was not discovered until March 2017 that applicants, for more than one year, had been approved without an NICS background check.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, there was a spike in concealed carry applications during that time period, likely due to the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando in July, with nearly 350,000 concealed carry permit applications.

Because of the employee’s negligence, hundreds of concealed carry permits were issued to Floridians ineligible to possess one. Ultimately, 291 permits were revoked. (Read more from “Hundreds of Concealed Carry Permits Revoked After State Employee’s Negligence Revealed” HERE)

Trump Has an Appetite for Seeing McDonald’s Come to North Korea

By Washington Examiner. . .A source told Axios that Trump is in favor of well-known American staples coming to North Korea, including McDonald’s, as he seeks to have the rogue nation open up to the world. Such cooperation hinges on a historic meeting Trump has planned for Tuesday in Singapore with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un about denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula. . .

Chung-in Moon, a special adviser to South Korean President Moon Jae-in, told CNN International that the North is looking to become a “normal state” recognized by the U.S. and “welcome American sponsors and multilateral consortiums coming into North Korea.”

He mentioned McDonald’s, along with a Trump-branded building, as examples of what a “modern” North Korea would look like, according to Daily Mail.

Any such private American investments would require the U.S. to lift sanctions placed on North Korea. (Read more from “Trump Has an Appetite for Seeing Mcdonald’s Come to North Korea” HERE)

Devin Nunes to DOJ: Hand Over Docs on Alleged FBI Informant or It’s ‘Obstruction’

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes has set a Tuesday deadline for the Justice Department to provide documents related to an alleged FBI informant who spoke with members of President Trump’s 2016 campaign.

In a letter sent to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on Friday, the California Republican demanded the documents be provided to all committee members “and designated staff,” which would go beyond top members of Congress which have been invited to view material related to Russia investigation.

“DOJ continues to obfuscate and delay its production using an array of tactics, such as incorrectly categorizing the requested documents as Gang-of-Eight-level material in order to limit access,” Nunes wrote, according to Fox News. “Such conduct by DOJ is unacceptable because the Gang-of-Eight is a legal fiction that has no basis outside of the confines of Presidential approval and reporting of covert actions.”

Refusal to comply with the demand to allow lawmakers and “designated staff” to view requested documents would be “an obstruction of a lawful Congressional investigation,” Nunes added.

“I will not relent in my duties on behalf of the American public to discover all the facts in this matter,” Nunes said at the end of the letter “Any response falling short of this request will be considered an effort to conceal material information from Congress — a dangerous precedent that the core of our democracy.” (Read more from “Devin Nunes to DOJ: Hand Over Docs on Alleged FBI Informant or It’s ‘Obstruction'” HERE)

Good Grief: TSA Searches 96-Year-Old Wheelchair Bound Woman, Sparks Debate

Talk about an invasion of privacy. Millions of people have watched TSA agents pat-down, search, and creep upon a 96-year-old wheelchair bound mother. While public safety and airport security is important, many are saying this was over the line and completely unnecessary. Still, others assert the TSA agents were doing their duty.

Jeanne Clarkson was traveling with her mother, Evelyn Labrier who happens to be in a wheel chair when TSA agents decided that her mother might some how pose a security threat and needed an invasive pat-down.

(Via CBS News)

“I was just shocked. I’ve traveled with her before, I’ve been in a wheelchair myself unable to walk through the machines and I’ve never had that kind of a pat-down ever. I was just shocked. I couldn’t believe they were doing this to my 96-year-old mother,” Jeanne Clarkson told CBS News transportation correspondent Kris Van Cleave. “It was just shock, and frustration because they would not talk to me. I felt helpless.”

Clarkson says she, her fiancé and Evelyn LaBrier were traveling back home to Anderson, Indiana after visiting her son in Maryland. The TSA screener was polite and explained what was happening during the search which included a pat-down of LaBrier’s chest and pelvis region.

. . .

Commenters on Facebook have offered a mix bag of reactions. Some say “This poor lady! Her shoulder was stiff and she needed that arm rest so badly! She was so patient! She may have needed to use the restroom after all that prodding! Bless her!” and “Wow,sorry your mother had to go through that, like she has something to hide.where do they get these ingorant (sic) people?”

Previously Deported Illegal Arrested for Running Massachusetts Opioid Trafficking Ring

A previously deported illegal alien living in Lawrence, Mass. has been arrested after police conducted a drug bust which found that Santo Ramon Gonzalez Nival, age 40, had been running a drug ring responsible for selling fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine throughout the Bay State. (via Eagle Tribune)

Santo Ramon Gonzalez Nival, a 40-year-old Dominican national, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Boston to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute heroin, cocaine and fentanyl, and one count of illegal reentry of a deported alien, according to a statement released by U.S. Attorney Andrew Lelling.

Nival has been detained since his arrest in May 2017. At the time of his arrest, he was illegally in the United States after being most recently deported May 19, 2009, according to Lelling.

In May 2017, Nival was charged after “a year-long investigation aimed at attacking the fentanyl and heroin crisis in Lawrence and surrounding areas,” according to the statement.

The people of Lawrence has been hit heavily with tragedies by the opioid epidemic plaguing New England. Since 2013, 140 individuals have died from drug overdoses. That number is not including 2018. The crisis is so bad, that U.S. Senate Republican candidate State Rep. Geoff Diehl has made it a campaign promise to address the problem. Just last week at an event in the former mill town, Diehl introduced his plan to solve the issue. Bombshell: Iran Admits to Facilitating 9/11 Attacks

By Washington Free Beacon. Iranian officials, in a first, have admitted to facilitating the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the U.S. by secretly aiding the free travel of al Qaeda operatives who eventually went on to fly commercial airliners into the Twin Towers in New York City, according to new remarks from a senior Iranian official.

Mohammad-Javad Larijani, an international affairs assistant in the Iran’s judiciary, disclosed in Farsi-language remarks broadcast on Iran’s state-controlled television that Iranian intelligence officials secretly helped provide the al Qaeda attackers with passage and gave them refuge in the Islamic Republic, according to an English translation published by Al Arabiya.

“Our government agreed not to stamp the passports of some of them because they were on transit flights for two hours, and they were resuming their flights without having their passports stamped. However their movements were under the complete supervision of the Iranian intelligence,” Larijani was quoted as saying. . .

The U.S. government has long accused Iran of playing a role in the attacks and even fined the Islamic Republic billions as a result. The U.S. 9/11 Commission assembled to investigate the attacks concluded that Iran played a role in facilitating the al Qaeda terrorists.

Larijani admitted that Iranian officials did not stamp the passports of the al Qaeda militants in order to obfuscate their movements and prevent detection by foreign governments. Al Qaeda operative also were given safe refuge in Iran. (Read more from “Bombshell: Iran Admits to Facilitating 9/11 Attacks” HERE)

Iran Faces New Threat as Kurdish Jihadis Join IS in Afghanistan

By Al-Monitor. A group of journalists had gathered at the site of a bomb blast in the center of Kabul, the Afghan capital, on the morning of April 30. Suddenly, a suicide bomber carrying a press card slipped past police and approached the journalists. As the bomb he was carrying went off, seven media workers died on the spot. Two more later died of their injuries, bringing the death toll of the two blasts to 26.

The Islamic State’s (IS) Afghanistan branch, known as Wilayat Khorasan, claimed responsibility for the attacks and released an image, dated April 29, of the two suicide bombers standing next to each other with their faces covered. One of them was identified by IS as Qaqa al-Kurdi. IS did not reveal where Kurdi came from, but for decades, both Iranian and Iraqi Kurds have been known to travel in large numbers to Afghanistan in pursuit of jihad. They have swelled the ranks of a number of groups over the years, and most recently IS.

Mukhtar Hooshmand, an expert on tracking the movement of Kurdish jihadis from Iran and Iraq, told Al-Monitor that he has identified Qaqa al-Kurdi as a 29-year-old man from Iran’s western Kermanshah province. The province has gained notoriety in recent years, as hundreds of young Kurds hailing from there and other Kurdish areas have traveled to Syria and Iraq to join IS and the jihadi group previously known as Jabhat al-Nusra (now called Jabhat Fatah al-Sham). Indeed, all of the IS suicide bombers who struck the Iranian parliament and the mausoleum of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini in Tehran last summer hailed from Kermanshah province.

Following the IS attack in Tehran, Iran appears to have woken up to the jihadi threat and has arrested hundreds of Iranian Kurdish extremists. But as the IS project in Iraq and Syria is falling apart, Iranian Kurdish jihadis have changed direction and are now heading eastward instead to join Wilayat Khorasan, sources familiar with Sunni extremism in Iran’s Kurdish areas told Al-Monitor.

Iran sees western Afghanistan as a vulnerable spot that could be exploited by IS and hostile countries. As such, the Islamic Republic appears to have tried to fortify its defenses by allegedly propping up the Taliban to fight IS as well as NATO and Afghan forces stationed there. Country Initiates New Measures to Combat Spread of Radical Islam

By Washington Free Beacon. Austria’s government initiated new measures Friday to curb the spread of radical Islam amongst the nation’s Muslim community by Turkish-funded mosques.

Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, who has served at the helm of Austria’s coalition government since December 2017, announced the closure of seven mosques and the expulsion of upwards of 40 Imams, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The chancellor declared Austria was committed to ensuring the country’s Muslim population was safe to practice its religion without the subversion of foreign influence aligned with radical extremists. . .

The government is alleging six mosques and a Turkish prayer house – operated by a militant, ultra-nationalist Turkish group – are in violation of a 2015 law banning foreign governments from funding mosques or paying imam salaries.

The government’s announcement came on the heels of an investigation by national law enforcement agencies to determine if radicals had infiltrated the country’s mosques and were working to undermine religious co-existence. The investigation found a number of mosques were receiving financial backing from the Turkish-Islamic Cultural Associations (ATIB), a Turkish government institution regulating religious affairs. Austria to Shut Down Mosques, Expel Foreign-Funded Imams

By Reuters. Austria’s right-wing government plans to shut seven mosques and could expel dozens of imams in what it said was “just the beginning” of a push against radical Islam and foreign funding of religious groups that Turkey condemned as racist.

The coalition government, an alliance of conservatives and the far right, came to power soon after Europe’s migration crisis on promises to prevent another influx and restrict benefits for new immigrants and refugees.

The moves follow a “law on Islam”, passed in 2015, which banned foreign funding of religious groups and created a duty for Muslim organizations to have “a positive fundamental view towards (Austria’s) state and society”. . .

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan’s spokesman said the new policy was part of an “Islamophobic, racist and discriminatory wave” in Austria. (Read more from “Austria to Shut Down Mosques, Expel Foreign-Funded Imams” HERE)
