Watch: Undercover Video Catches Socialist DOJ Staffer ‘Resisting From the Inside’

A video uploaded by Project Veritas on Wednesday shows Department of Justice employees detailing how they “resist” the current administration from inside the government.

Project Veritas was founded by James O’Keefe and is dedicated to investigating and exposing “corruption, dishonesty, self-dealing, waste, fraud, and other misconduct in both public and private institutions in order to achieve a more ethical and transparent society,” according to its website.

Statements made by both a paralegal at the DOJ and a former Health and Human Services employee in the video amount to what Project Veritas attorney Ben Barr outlines as illegal leaks inside the government.

The video included footage of activist members of the Democratic Socialists of America who work at the Department of Justice and admitted to using government resources to find out personal information about government officials that they wanted to protest against, including their home addresses.

Jessica Schubel who is the former Chief of Staff for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services during the last Obama administration says that “There’s like a little resistance movement” inside the government. She admitted to an undercover Project Veritas journalist that someone who currently works inside Health and Human services gives her information before it is released, even admitting that the information was confidential.

Department of Justice paralegal Allison Hrabar is reportedly one of the DOJ employees who is using government resources to further her own political cause. She made the news in June after taking part in a protest that chased Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen from a restaurant.

According to Hrabar, “There’s a lot of talk about how we can like, resist from inside,” at the Department of Justice.

She also talked about a fellow federal employee who works for the US Department of Agriculture who slows down the process of removing individuals from the food stamps program.

“We have a member who works for the people who distribute food stamps, and they can like take that away, and they’re slowing what they do … what they’re doing means that people are going to be able to stay on food stamps for another month or two, which is like really important.”

As for Hrabar herself, she appears to be using government resources to find the individuals that the Democratic Socialists of America want to protest. Fellow DSA member, Cliff Green, appeared on video and spoke about how Hrabar finds the homes of the objectionable Trump administration officials.

“So Allison is a paralegal, so she, her living is researching people, so she’s very good at researching people. So, they just find the companies, and then the people that run those companies, and then they find their home address. She uses Lexis Nexis and a couple other software things.”

Natarajan Subramanian, who serves as an auditor for the Government Accountability Office and fellow DSA member, explained to a Project Veritas journalists that Hrabar uses her work computer for her research. Subramanian said, “That’s the kind of thing that you would get fired for … people do not have the silver bullet, the smoking gun or whatever. Um, if they were able to get proof of that, you know? So, we’re all walking that line.”

Hrabar explained, at one point that she had dug into records, finding that a government official they wished to protest against had moved, so she had to dig deeper. After finding what they thought was the new home of the official she explained: “And so we ran the license plate, and it was a car registered to (the official) … and someone saw him through the window, which is also …”

A Project Veritas journalist asked if they were able to run the plates, to which Hrabar responded that they can, but not officially.

A spokesperson for the Department of Justice issued a response to Project Veritas, saying:

“These allegations are deeply concerning. Department policy prohibits misuse of government resources to advance personal interests. We are looking into this immediately and have referred this matter to the Inspector General as well.”

Project Veritas President James O’Keefe said that this video “may be the largest case of unaccountability in our government that has ever been exposed.”

“Through our undercover reports, we now have proof of government employees leaking confidential information and using government resources to advance their resistance of official government policies they disagree with,” O’Keefe said.

“These videos are the Deep State incarnate, and this is just the tip of the iceberg.” (For more from the author of “Watch: Undercover Video Catches Socialist DOJ Staffer ‘Resisting From the Inside’” please click HERE)

Watch: Former Kavanaugh Law Clerk Crushes Left’s Narratives by Recalling Her Time Working for Him

By Conservative Tribune. Having failed to effectively block or derail Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court through normal means and legal issues, Democrats and their liberal media allies have resorted to besmirching his reputation through unsubstantiated allegations of sexual misconduct and blatant smears against his character. . .

In response to the terrible allegation that liberals are using to paint Kavanaugh as some sort of sexual predator, dozens of women who’ve known or worked with the judge over the course of his lengthy career have come forward to dispute that characterization of the nominee.

One of those women is a former law clerk of Kavanaugh’s named Jennifer Mascott, who had nothing but positive things to say about her former boss in a testimonial shared on Facebook by The Daily Signal.

“I’m Jen Mascott. I clerked for Judge Brett Kavanaugh his first year on the bench from 2006 to 2007. So, I really had the honor to clerk for Judge Kavanaugh his first term,” Mascott said.

“He’s gone on to have more than 50 percent of his law clerks be women, and he keeps up with each of his law clerks and continues to mentor us professionally,” she continued. “And I could not be more enthusiastic about President Trump nominating him to a seat on the Supreme Court. Opposition to Kavanaugh grows, support at historic low: Reuters/Ipsos poll

By Reuters. A growing number of Americans said they opposed President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, as the candidate’s confirmation hearings took place and as he fended off a sexual assault claim, a Reuters/Ipsos poll showed.

The Sept. 11-17 poll found that 36 percent of adults surveyed did not want Kavanaugh in the Supreme Court, up 6 points from a similar poll conducted a month earlier.

Only 31 percent of U.S. adults polled said they were in favor of Kavanaugh’s appointment.

If support for his nomination remains this weak, Trump’s pick would rank among the lowest-supported Supreme Court nominees to later be confirmed, according to historical data from Gallup. (Read more from “Opposition to Kavanaugh Grows, Support at Historic Low: Reuters/Ipsos Poll” HERE)

By Conservative Tribune. San Francisco has once again proven itself to be a liberal paradise, with residents begging potential thieves for mercy and trying to connect with them on an emotional level.

Residents of the City by the Bay have begun leaving notes on their vehicles essentially pleading to be left alone.

One resident, Felix Kubin, had his car broken into four times before he decided to write a message on his car according to KGO-TV.

“Thank you for letting this glass remain unbroken. We are a poor family with two kids. No values inside except diapers,” the message read. . .

“Please do not break into the car. It has been broken into SIX TIMES … we cannot afford paying for more car windows,” one resident wrote on a vehicle. (Read more from “Lib Paradise: San Fran Drivers Now Leave Notes on Cars Begging Robbers Not to Break in” HERE)

Mom Shares Post About Near-Abduction Involving Son. After Tearful Interviews, She’s Arrested.

By The Blaze. Police arrested a Louisville, Kentucky, mother after she wrote a harrowing Facebook post about a near-abduction in a Walmart parking lot involving her son. After she gave tearful interviews to the media, police revealed that the woman faked the entire story — and only found out after they’d reviewed surveillance footage. . .

In her post, [Emily] Lyons said that she was loading groceries into her car in the retailer’s parking lot when a woman approached her to tell her how cute her 10-month-old son Jaxson was.

Lyons said that in that moment, a man came up and attempted to steal her son from the grocery cart, and was only unsuccessful because her child’s thighs were chubby, and the man had trouble extricating the child from the cart. . .

The department reviewed surveillance footage of Lyons’ experience in the parking lot, and determined that no one — male or female — had tried to take Lyons’ son that day or any other day.

According to WAVE-TV, Lyons has an October court date in connection with the incident. The station also reported that Lyons “agreed that the incident did not occur,” according to her citation, and faces a charge of filing a false police report. Lyons may also face a mental health evaluation in connection with the false report. (Read more from “Mom Shares Post About Near-Abduction Involving Son. Kavanaugh’s Accuser Just Added a Big Condition for Her to Testify Publicly

Christine Blasey Ford, the woman who has accused federal judge and Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, will not testify publicly about the alleged incident unless a “full investigation by law enforcement officials” is completed beforehand, according to her attorneys.

Ford’s legal team sent a letter to Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and that letter was obtained by CNN.

“…a full investigation by law enforcement officials will ensure that the crucial facts and witnesses in this matter are assessed in a non-partisan manner, and that the Committee is fully informed before conducting any hearing or making any decisions,” the letter read. . .

This situation has developed quickly since Friday. As of Monday night, it appeared Ford was willing to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee next Monday, along with Kavanaugh. By Tuesday morning, however, that appearance was in doubt as Grassley said they had not been able to get in touch with Ford. . .

“Asking her to come forward in four or five days and sit before the Judiciary Committee on national TV is not a fair process,” Ford attorney Lisa Banks said to CNN’s Anderson Cooper. “If they care about doing the right thing here and treating this seriously as they have said, then they will do the right thing and they will properly investigate this, and she will work with them in that investigation and also to share her story with the committee.” (Read more from “Kavanaugh’s Accuser Just Added a Big Condition for Her to Testify Publicly” HERE)

‘The Middle’ Star Reveals How He Has Kept His Faith While Working in Hollywood

Atticus Shaffer, star of ABC’s “The Middle,” a popular sitcom that went off the air earlier this year after a nine-year run, is an outspoken Christian who has openly shared his perspective on faith, Hollywood and the harrowing journey he has faced to overcome the side effects of osteogenesis imperfecta, also known as brittle-bone disease.

Shaffer, 20, recently took audience questions during an appearance on PureFlix.com’s “Pure Talk,” revealing, among other issues, how he has navigated the complex world of Hollywood without compromising his faith.

“You keep your focus on Him,” he said of God. “You talk with Him about everything.”

Shaffer also shared his two favorite books of the Bible: John and Isaiah. He noted that he and his mother do a daily Bible study, bouncing back and forth between the Old and New Testaments in an effort to more deeply understand the unity of the Scriptures. . .

On a personal and professional level, Shaffer said he finds joy in getting to be a storyteller in Hollywood — and said that he’s hoping to be able to tell powerful stories through his production company, while also continuing to perform in new projects. California Governor Jerry Brown Ramps up His Anti-Trump Rhetoric in Latest Tirade

By The Blaze. California Governor Jerry Brown unleashed his most heated rhetoric yet against President Donald Trump, including a statement some are taking as a threat. . .

Brown went on to decry Trump’s “lies, distortions” and “bizarre behavior” on climate change. Brown warned that as climate change conditions worsen, that there would be more mass migration due to land not being able to feed people anymore. . .

When asked about the president denying reports that thousands died in Puerto Rico from hurricane Maria, Brown continued his verbal attack.

“The problem is, we never had a president who’s engaged in this kind of behavior,” Brown responded. “I mean he’s not telling the truth. He keeps changing his mind. He’s sabotaging the world order in many respects.”

“So it’s unprecedented,” he continued, “it’s dangerous, and hopefully this election is gonna send a strong message that the country The Democrats will win, and Trump, well something’s gotta happen to this guy because if we don’t get rid of him, he’s gonna undermine America and even the world.” (Read more from “California Governor Jerry Brown Ramps up His Anti-Trump Rhetoric in Latest Tirade” HERE)

California Gov. Brown on Trump: ‘Something’s Got to Happen to This Guy…He’s Going to Undermine America’

By Fox News. California Gov. Jerry Brown ramped up his criticism of President Trump in an interview that aired Monday – calling the president a “saboteur” in the fight to combat climate change and saying that “something’s got to happen to this guy.” . . .

Under Brown, California has become one of the main opponents to the Trump administration’s policies on everything from land use to immigration. But there is perhaps no area where California has been more combative against the White House agenda than the environment.

“California has positioned itself as the center of the Trump resistance,” Jessica Levinson, a clinical law professor at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, told Fox News. “It’s bloody combat.”

Earlier this month, Brown signed two pieces of legislation effectively banning the construction of any new offshore oil and gas pipelines in the state’s waters. The new laws are meant to thwart a Trump plan to open nearly 1.7 billion acres of coastal waters to drilling.

Shortly before the climate conference began last week, the governor also put his signature on legislation phasing out electricity in the state produced by fossil fuels by 2045. Google Turns Evil in Willingness to Collude With China’s Repression

By The Federalist. Google, a company with an annual revenue exceeding $100 billion and tens of thousands of employees, has brought about ground-breaking innovations through its horizontal search engine, self-driving vehicles, and electronic messaging systems, improving the lives of millions of individuals and businesses in the process.

However, recent reports of the Silicon Valley behemoth’s cooperation with China paint a picture less of an ethical business giant, and more of an adversary blatantly subverting American interests and basic human rights on the world stage.

In early August, The Intercept reported that Google is planning to implement a censored version of its search engine in China, dubbed “Project Dragonfly,” which will block searches related to free speech, human rights, and democracy, among other content Beijing deems objectionable.

Worse, the search engine will reportedly link any searches entered by a user directly to his or her phone number, allowing Chinese authorities to easily track citizens seeking out blacklisted information, and placing political dissidents at risk of human rights violations such as interrogation or detention. . .

By yielding to Beijing’s assault on freedom in return for access to new markets, Google has succumbed to the darker impulses of human nature, in a stark reversal of previous anti-censorship stances. In 2010, for instance, Google refused to censor search results in China, writing in a blog post, “We want as many people in the world as possible to have access to our services.” (Read more from “Google Turns Evil in Willingness to Collude With China’s Repression” HERE)

Google’s Nest Reportedly Went to Great Lengths to Hide Its Health Ambitions When It Acquired a Seattle Start-Up Last Summer

By CNBC. Google-owned Nest went to great lengths to conceal its acquisition of Seattle health monitoring start-up Senosis in order to keep its interest in digital health a secret, new records obtained by GeekWire show.

While GeekWire had previously reported that Google had bought the start-up in the summer of 2017, the records confirm that it was actually Alphabet’s home automation business Nest that wished to integrate Senosis’s technology. However, the company told those involved in the deal that they couldn’t mention Nest or publicize the sale.

“It turns out Nest is much more secretive than the rest of Google or Alphabet,” Senosis co-founder Shwetak Patel wrote to the vice president of University of Washington’s innovation hub in June 2017. “They seem to be particularly sensitive in this situation since they don’t want people to know they are getting into a whole new line of business, digital health, until they are ready to publicly announce.”

Senosis Health spun out of the University of Washington, which enabled GeekWire to make public records requests related to its sale.

Emails also show that Google’s corporate counsel instructed the team to use “Google” instead of “Nest” on outside forms and in internal discussions to prevent speculation around a Nest health product. We Need to Know If Intelligence Agencies Covered up the 1996 Crash of TWA 800

While recently watching a documentary on the Smithsonian Channel about a 1987 plane crash in California purportedly caused by a deranged passenger, I realized a profound shift had occurred in my accepted wisdom, my “worldview.” During its investigation of the crash, the FBI allegedly found a vital piece of evidence at the scene, which led to them identifying a suspect behind the crash.

It dawned on me that I doubted the veracity of both the evidence the FBI supposedly found and of the documentary itself. Then I realized that my doubt was purely a result of everything we’ve learned about the FBI’s involvement in the greatest political crime in America’s history through its pivotal role to undermine Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, and in the blatant cover-up of Hillary Clinton’s crimes as secretary of state. It also brought home why President Trump needs to reopen the 1996 TWA Flight 800 plane crash investigation. . .

The FBI’s willingness to participate in such outrageous cover-ups and falsely predicated investigations, and ignore a mountain of evidence contradicting the official government line, should prompt President Trump to revisit what I believe is one of the other great cover-ups in American history, also involving the Clintons: the destruction of TWA Flight 800 on July 17, 1996.

It was destroyed off the coast of Long Island shortly after taking off from John F. Kennedy International Airport bound for Paris, taking 230 souls with it. That scandal presaged what we saw 20 years later with the whitewash of the Hillary email server case and the counterintelligence operation against Trump’s campaign.

The seminal work about TWA 800 was written by a meticulous, indefatigable investigative reporter and documentarian, Jack Cashill. (Full disclosure: I have gotten to know and work with Jack, a fellow graduate of Regis High School in Manhattan, over the years, and consider him a friend.) China Still Has Plenty of Ammunition to Fight Back in Trump’s Trade War

China still has several tools in its kit to mitigate the negative effects of President Trump’s trade war on its economy. With a top-down economic structure and a huge domestic market, China may be able to absorb some impact of the latest round of tariffs by turning goods destined for export around for internal consumption.

While pushing back on U.S. demands, China continues expanding to new markets. President Xi’s “One Belt and One Road” initiative to build infrastructure projects from Europe to Africa has already provided a big market and consistent demand for Chinese exports, especially those running into overcapacity issues, such as steel and cement. Many countries along the initiative routes are resource-rich. They will provide a steady supply of raw material and energy to support China’s long-term economic growth.

China can also increase its investment in Africa. In early September, Xi announced a $60 billion package of aid, investment, and loan money for Africa. Since Africa is already becoming overloaded with Chinese debt, the majority of this aid package is expected to be investments that will provide an outlet for Chinese goods and services.

Beijing has also started a charm offensive with U.S. businesses. Xi’s top economic advisor recently promised a delegation of U.S. multinationals that U.S. businesses operating in China “won’t be targeted in Beijing’s trade counterattacks.” China’s government-run tabloid, the Global Times, tried to appeal to U.S. businesses by stating, “The Chinese market can help them make money, but the White House can’t.”

Most importantly, Xi became president for life in March of this year. Time is on his side. He doesn’t face much political pressure to reach a trade deal with the United States. As a matter of fact, China’s hardliners may grumble if they perceive any trade deal has sold out China’s interests. So Xi has strong incentives to act like the tough guy who won’t yield to U.S. demands. This probably explains why China already warned the United States that it would back out of the latest round of trade talks if Trump goes ahead with his latest tariff announcement.
