Mom Who Killed Her 3 Children Used Fake Doctor’s Note to Get Them out of School

The Michigan mother who shot her three daughters in the woods last Monday before killing herself in her boyfriend’s driveway used a fake doctor’s appointment to get her three daughters out of school and alone with her, investigators revealed.

Aubrianne Moore, 28, showed up at the children’s school in the middle of the day to pick up her daughters Alaina Rau, 2, Cassidy Rodery, 6, and Kyrie Rodery, 8, Kent County Sheriff’s Office detectives said. They added that her “doctor’s note” that she gave to school administrators was fake.

The mother’s former social worker had warned about her behavior last September in a petition to the Newaygo County Probate Court. She wrote of the need to have Moore committed to a mental hospital.

“Aubrianne is keeping her kids home from school because the television told her there would be a school bus accident today,” the social worker wrote, as WYFF reported. “Aubrianne stays awake at night believing people will break into her home. Aubrianne is not eating believing food is being poisoned.” . . .

Investigators said Moore took her children to lunch before going to a wooded area behind a property that belonged to the children’s great grandparents. She then took the children one by one into the woods and shot them with a bolt-action hunting rifle before driving back to her boyfriend’s house and killing herself outside the vehicle, WOOD reported. Bernie Sanders Admits His Real Motives for Running…Again

By Townhall. Democrats seem to think that if they continue running for president that maybe, just maybe, one day their hope will become a reality. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and his campaign team are running a social media campaign focused on why the senator is running for president.

Clearly, this is a jab at President Donald Trump. Let’s face it. Trump has a different leadership style than most. He says what everyone is thinking but no one has the courage to say. While his comments can come off as brash, he’s saying what needs to be said. And Democrats clearly don’t like that. . .

Almost everyone can get behind lowering the student loan debt. But very few would agree that college and universities should be tuition free. Here’s why:

When you have to pay for your education, you value it. You take it seriously. You study. You get good grades. You earn your degree. When it’s paid for, you have less invested, both monetarily and emotionally. Why would you care if you flunked a semester or flunked out of school? You didn’t pay for it. No sweat off your back. There’s nothing tangible to look at.

Vintage Bernie Footage Shows Now-Presidential Candidate Praising Breadlines, Communist Nations

By Fox News. Presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., has never shied away from his embrace of a hard-left agenda, but the democratic socialist is facing renewed scrutiny over a catalog of comments he made in the 1980s praising the Soviet Union, offering advice to Nicaragua’s socialist government — and even saying breadlines in communist countries are a “good thing.”

Videos of those comments have recirculated online at a furious pace ever since Sanders jumped in the 2020 race Tuesday, this time as a putative front-runner rather than the underdog he played in 2016 against an establishment favorite. With his increased stature, and role in pulling the entire field to the left, has come a tougher look at his long record talking up socialist governments.

“It’s funny sometimes American journalists talk about how bad a country is because people are lining up for food. That’s a good thing,” he said in one vintage video unearthed by conservative activists. “In other countries, people don’t line up for food, rich people get the food and poor people starve to death.”

Trump Cuts Hundreds of Millions of Federal Funds From Planned Parenthood

President Donald Trump’s administration issued a rule Friday to restrict federal funding for groups such as Planned Parenthood that provide abortion referrals.

The rule, first proposed by the Department of Health and Human Services last year, would ban organizations from providing abortions if they are performed in the same facilities as other services financed by federal funds. It would also block funding for organizations that refer women to another provider for the procedure. . .

Supporters say the rule will ensure federal money isn’t used to pay for abortions, while opponents say it would restrict the ability of women to obtain an abortion and abortion counseling. . .

Trump, who has drawn support from conservative voters on the issue, has been raising his opposition to abortion more forcefully in recent weeks. Trump discussed abortion during his State of the Union address this month, calling on lawmakers to “build a culture that cherishes innocent life,” and he also made it part of a recent political rally.

“The Protect Life Rule does not cut family planning funding by a single dime, and instead directs tax dollars to entities that provide health care to women but do not perform abortions,” said Susan B. Watch: Dem Rep Argues With Children Over New Green Deal

Democratic California Sen. Dianne Feinstein got into a disagreement with elementary school-aged children who were trying to persuade her to vote in favor of the Green New Deal on Friday.

The interaction was filmed and posted on Twitter by the Sunrise Movement, an organization dedicated to “building an army of young people to make climate change an urgent priority across America, end the corrupting influence of fossil fuel executives on our politics, and elect leaders who stand up for the health and well-being of all people,” according to their website. . .

“You know what’s interesting about this group is, I’ve been doing this for 30 years. I know what I’m doing. You come in here, and you say it has to be my way or the highway. I don’t respond to that. I’ve gotten elected, I just ran. I was elected by almost a million-vote plurality. And I know what I’m doing. So you know, maybe people should listen a little bit,” the California congresswoman said.

Feinstein proceeded to ask a teen how old she was and then pointed out that the 16-year-old could not have voted for her, despite her claim otherwise. . .

The Green New Deal is a piece of draft legislation to create a committee to come up with a plan to completely shift the U.S. off of fossil fuels within 10 years. Democrats Take Down Another Judicial Nominee Simply Because He’s a Christian

Dissenting in Obergefell v. Hodges, the 2015 Supreme Court case that legalized same-sex marriage, Justice Samuel Alito gravely predicted that “those who cling to old beliefs will be able to whisper their thoughts in the recesses of their homes, but if they repeat those views in public, they will risk being labeled as bigots and treated as such by governments, employers, and schools.”

He was right. In Wisconsin, this campaign of religious intolerance has claimed a new casualty in Gordon Giampietro, President Trump’s former nominee to a vacant seat on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. He was revealed to be removed from the list of renominations Trump issued on January 22. Democrats have all but ensured that, for the crime of publicly voicing the teachings of his faith, Giampietro will never sit on the federal bench. . .

A number of Senate Democrats have famously come to the conclusion that Catholics faithful to the teachings of their church are unfit for public service. In September 2017, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) bizarrely complained that “the dogma lives loudly within” Judge Amy Coney Barrett, suggesting that her faith precludes her service on the bench.

In December 2018, presidential candidate Kamala Harris (D-CA) shamefully attempted to make membership in the Knights of Columbus, a renowned Catholic charitable organization, a disqualifying offense. One can apparently be a Catholic, but ought not to be too serious about it.

That this nonsense has now claimed Giampietro is a shame. His qualifications are beyond question. An assistant general counsel at a Fortune 500 company, he has more than a decade’s experience as a federal prosecutor after becoming a partner at one of Wisconsin’s most successful law firms. He received the approval of the bipartisan Wisconsin Federal Nominating Commission (on which one of us sat), of Wisconsin Sens. Pentagon Sending More Troops to Border

By The Washington Post. The Pentagon will increase the number of troops along the U.S.-Mexico border to about 6,000 by the start of next month as the Trump administration turns its attention to securing remote areas between official ports of entry, a senior U.S. defense official said Friday.

About 1,000 additional personnel will be deployed with orders to string more concertina wire and install detection systems, the official said.

The official, who was authorized by the Pentagon to speak to reporters only on the condition of anonymity, said that so far, military forces had installed 70 miles of concertina wire, reinforced ports of entry, provided medical support to migrants and helped transport Customs and Border Protection agents by aircraft. Trump’s Wall Prototypes to Come Down Along US-Mexico Border

By Associated Press. The eight border-wall prototypes President Donald Trump inspected during a visit to California in March are going to be torn down to make way for a second barrier separating California and Mexico, the U.S. Department of Customs and Border Protection said Friday.

Construction crews have replaced one layer of fencing along a 14-mile stretch of the border separating Mexico and California. Crews recently started work on replacing and extending secondary fence as well.

El Chapo’s Team Believes He Deserves Another Trial. Here’s Why.

By Townhall. Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman’s legal team on Friday announced that they would be seeking a new trial for the alleged Mexican drug lord. According to Guzman’s team, multiple jurors violated a federal judge’s instructions when they followed the media’s account of the trial, the Associated Press reported.

Guzman’s team plans to ask U.S. District Judge Brian Cogan to perform an evidentiary hearing “to determine the extent of the misconduct.”

The decision comes after a VICE News article was published with an interview from one of the jurors. Inside El Chapo’s Jury

By VICE. For the first time since the trial of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán ended on Feb. 12, a member of the jury has described what it was like be part of the historic case.

In an exclusive interview with VICE News, the juror claimed that at least five fellow jurors violated the judge’s orders by following the case in the media during the trial. The juror also shared details of the deliberations, the extraordinary security precautions that were in place, and the jury’s views on Chapo, his lawyers, the prosecution, and several key witnesses.

The jury deliberations dragged on for six days largely because of one stubborn holdout, the juror claimed. The juror said another factor before the deliberations began was the prospect that Chapo would be forced to spend the rest of his life alone in a prison cell. . .

Group Trolls Ocasio-Cortez With ANOTHER Billboard

Job Creators Network, the group behind a New York City billboard criticizing socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), trolled the 29-year-old congresswoman with a second billboard after she lashed out at the group’s first billboard. . .

Ocasio-Cortez responded with a tweet, writing: “Few things effectively communicate the power we’ve built in fighting dark money & anti-worker policies like billionaire-funded groups blowing tons of cash on wack billboards (this one is funded by the Mercers). (PS fact that it’s in Times Sq tells you this isn’t for/by NYers.)”

Job Creators Network put up a second billboard that stated: “Hey AOC, Saw your wack tweet.”

The criticism of Ocasio-Cortez “comes after Ocasio-Cortez vigorously defended her role in sinking Amazon’s move to New York City on Tuesday in the face of bipartisan criticism,” Fox News reported. “The freshman Democratic New York congresswoman has faced days of criticism from normally friendly media voices and fellow Democrats over her role in Amazon’s decision to pull back from building a $2.5 billion campus in the Long Island City neighborhood of Queens.”

New York City Democrat Mayor Bill de Blasio had to correct Ocasio-Cortez for incorrectly thinking that “the $3 billion in tax breaks that were going to go to Amazon still existed after Amazon pulled out of NYC,” The Daily Wire reported. New England Patriots Owner Charged With Soliciting Prostitution, Kraft Not the ‘Biggest Name Involved’

By Fox News. New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft on Friday was charged with two counts of soliciting prostitution at a Florida spa — and cops say there’s video.

Kraft, 77, is accused of paying for sexual acts at Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter, located about 90 miles north of Miami. His name was among more than a dozen who were charged.

Police said they have Kraft, and others, on video receiving the sexual acts and that he participated in prostitution in Florida two separate times.

The spa had been shut down after a months-long investigation revealed women were participating in “sexual servitude,” TC Palm reported, citing arrest records. Nine other spas in Orlando, Palm Beach County and Treasure Coast had also been shut down as part of the investigation. . .

‘Robert Kraft Not the Biggest Name Involved’ in Florida Prostitution Case, ESPN’s Schefter Reports

By Daily Wire. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Friday that New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is “not the biggest name involved” in a prostitution case in South Florida. . .

Following the news about Kraft, Schefter reported on ESPN’s “SportsCenter” that Kraft is supposedly not the biggest name involved.

“There are people down there in that area I’m told who say this story is going to heat up and get a lot worse,” Schefter reported. “I don’t mean involving Robert Kraft, I’m talking about with all the human trafficking that has gone on down there, I’m also told that Robert Kraft is not the biggest name involved down there in South Florida, and we will see what police turn up in the report.”

“We got 25 names today, there are 175 more names coming,” Schefter later said. “Now some will just be regular people whose names we don’t know. But there could be other names that we do know, and that’s how it was explained to me.”

Schefter concluded by saying, “I was speaking and texting with someone who lives down there, and they told me it’s going to get a lot worse down there, that there will be other people involved, that everyone down there is very nervous right now, that there are people being arrested that are prominent members of society down there.”

Police: Two Soldiers Plotted Murder of Another Soldier on Snapchat

Police in Michigan say that two Georgia-based soldiers spent months planning the murder of the husband of one of the soldiers and specifically used Snapchat as a way of attempting to keep the plot secret.

In a story highlighted by Military Times, the Kalamazoo Gazette reports that while both Spc. Kemia Hassel, 22, and her co-defendant, Spc. Jeremey Cuellar, 24, have pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree murder, police say that Hassel admitted to them that she planned the New Year’s Eve murder of her husband, U.S. Army Sgt. Tyrone Hassel III, 23 — and says she and Cuellar used Snapchat in an attempt to conceal their plot.

“The wife of an Army sergeant killed in December admitted that she planned his killing together with another man, communicating on Snapchat in an attempt to hide their communications, according to statements she made to police,” the Gazette reports.

Snapchat’s key distinguishing feature is that it deletes video and image messages sent between users as a way of keeping interaction flow more “natural” and to avoid the “permanent” and public nature of other social media platforms.

St. Joseph Township Police Officer Mike Lanier told the court Wednesday during a preliminary examination that Hassel had plotted with Cueller for months about killing her husband so they could be together and she could collect his life insurance money.
