South Korea Lifts 70-Year Anti-Abortion Law

The Western satellite state of South Korea let itself succumb to the worst of Western impulses this week when the country’s top court declared a 70-year ban on abortion in most cases to be unconstitutional. South Korean lawmakers now have until the end of 2020 to draft a new law permitting the murderous practice.

The 7-2 ruling on Thursday (ironically, the exact same ratio as Roe v. Wade) dictated that the abortion ban “limits women’s rights to pursue their own destinies, and violates their rights to health by limiting their access to safe and timely procedures.” As is the case with every one of these rulings, the well-being or humanity of the unborn child played no factor in the final outcome.

According to HuffPost, the restrictive anti-abortion law effectively banned the procedure in all cases except for rape, incest, and the life of the mother. Passed in 1953 at the end of the Korean War, the law also permitted punishments for both women and doctors who procured abortions. Women were also required to have spousal approval in the rare exceptions where abortions were permitted. Thursday’s ruling resulted from an abortion doctor facing criminal charges for performing over 69 illegal abortions.

The ruling also made the claim that unborn babies cannot be treated as an independent entity due to their dependency on the mother’s body.

According to Reuters, the lawyer representing the plaintiff said that the ruling will “free women from shackles.” Feminist activists also celebrated the ruling with the same fervor. (Read more from “South Korea Lifts 70-Year Anti-Abortion Law” HERE)

New York Post Cover Photo Shreds Ilhan Omar for Trivializing 9/11 Terror Attacks

The New York Post issued a scathing rebuke of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) with their Thursday cover and editorial after Omar described the September 11, 2001, Islamic terror attacks that killed thousands of Americans as “some people did something.”

Omar made the remarks, which sparked widespread outrage, during a March 23 speech at an event for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) — which the United Arab Emirates has designated as a terrorist organization. Omar has since bemoaned criticism of her from Fox News and Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) in response to her remarks by alleging that they were engaging in “dangerous incitement” against her.

The New York Post responded to Omar’s comments by making this the feature story in their Thursday publication with a cover photo of the World Trade Centers under attack on September 11, 2001, and with a headline that stated: “Here’s your something.”

“How pathetic: A member of Congress can’t acknowledge what happened on one of the most horrific days in US history,” The New York Post Editorial Board wrote. “Some people did something? Wow. What a way to describe the heinous surprise attack on America that claimed 3,000 lives.”

At the March 23 event, Omar said: “CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something, and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties.” (Read more from “New York Post Cover Photo Shreds Ilhan Omar for Trivializing 9/11 Terror Attacks” HERE)

HIDDEN CAM VIDEO: ‘Pregnant’ Transgender Visits Planned Parenthood!

This is the latest, and possibly most outrageous installment of hidden camera experiments that we’ve done yet.

It’s relatively simple. Planned Parenthood is the self-proclaimed #1 provider of women’s healthcare in the country! They also have released official guidelines to their employees as “inclusivity” in regards to transgender patients… Which flies in the face of biology, and even, yes… actual health services performed.

So we sent in “Stephanie” a “pregnant” transgender to see just how far they’d take it… as well as how far we’ve fallen. Prepare for a bumpy and disturbing ride.

Senator Admits Obama Admin Could Have Legitimately Spied on Trump Campaign

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said on Thursday that there was still a possibility that the Trump campaign was surveilled by the government in a legitimate fashion.

“Clearly the foreign intelligence surveillance act was used against the Trump campaign,” said Graham to CNN’s Manu Raju.

“That’s a form of surveillance,” he explained. “It is, surveillance is fine, but it’s legal, it’s authorized. Counter-intelligence investigation was opened up against the Trump campaign. That by its nature, surveillance is fine.”

“I think what Mr. Barr is saying is that this didn’t happen in the Clinton campaign, there was no counterintelligence investigation I know of against the Clinton campaign there was no FISA warrants opened up against her people,” Graham said. “The question is why did the government open up a counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign, and was the FISA warrant legit?” . . .

The comment seemed to go against an earlier statement from the president, who seemed absolutely certain that the Obama administration had illegally spied on his presidential campaign. (Read more from “Senator Admits Obama Admin Could Have Legitimately Spied on Trump Campaign” HERE)

Pelosi Is Outraged at Leaked Plan From Trump Admin to Punish ‘Sanctuary Cities’

A plan to retaliate against the political foes of the president by busing illegal immigrants to ‘sanctuary cities’ was leaked by whistleblowers on Thursday, and Democrats are outraged.

“The extent of this administration’s cynicism and cruelty cannot be overstated,” said Ashley Etienne, a spokeswoman for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).

“Using human beings — including little children — as pawns in their warped game to perpetuate fear and demonize immigrants is despicable,” she concluded. . .

The plan was revealed in the Washington Post, which relied on anonymous sources in the administration, but it was confirmed by a statement from the White House. . .

The report says administration officials pressured the Department of Homeland Security to implement the plan twice in order to pressure political enemies of President Donald Trump, but they resisted. America Has Quietly Become the Global Oil Superpower. Will the Courts Stop That Too?

They took away our culture, they redefined marriage and life itself, and they’ve erased our borders. Will the courts steal the lifeblood of our economy and smother the growing oil miracle in America’s economy?

Yesterday, President Trump was in Houston, touting his new plan to expedite oil pipeline construction and permitting for oil and gas extraction, two vital infrastructure projects that have been hampered by liberal states and held up by activist judges.

While the media has barely covered it and many Americans take our prosperity and energy production for granted, it’s worth reviewing and quantifying the magnitude of what the shale oil boom has done for this country over the past few years.

Last week, the S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced that American crude oil production had hit an all-time record of 12.2 million barrels per day. That crushes Saudi Arabia’s and Russia’s levels of output. America will be the world’s largest oil producer for the foreseeable future and will account for over 70 percent of future growth in global crude oil production.

Thanks to the discovery of more shale oil, the innovation of hydraulic fracking, and Trump easing regulations on permitting, crude oil production has spiked 36 percent just since Trump took office. The continued spike in production is all the more remarkable given that the price of crude oil has tumbled since last October and still remains 15 percent lower than when it peaked last fall.

Shale production has spiked from less than 600,000 barrels per day in 2010 to roughly 7.4 million barrels per day this year.

We now produce so much oil that we are on the cusp of also becoming the king of oil exports as well as production. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), “By 2024, the United States will export more oil than Russia and will close in on Saudi Arabia – a pivotal milestone that will bring greater diversity of supply in markets.” Just this year, our gross exports of crude oil are expected to hit six billion barrels per day, roughly triple the level just three years ago. The U.S. already exports more coal natural gas than it imports and is expected to permanently become a net exporter of oil by 2021. It has already intermittently achieved net exporter statuses during some individual months. Through 2040, the U.S. is expected to account for 75 percent of the global growth in oil production and 40 percent of the growth in natural gas. According to the IEA, “By 2025, nearly every fifth barrel of oil and every fourth cubic meter of gas in the world come from the United States.” At the same time, the IEA predicts that global demand for oil will continue to slow its pace of growth, creating a win-win for our dominance of the market.

It’s not just our producing capacity that has grown. Our oil refineries are processing record amounts of oil. In January, we hit 18.76 million barrels per day being run through the refineries, clearing keeping up with the supply of production.

God truly has continued to bless America whether we deserve it or not. A funny thing happens when we responsibly utilize the gifts God bestows. We get more of them. For years, liberals warned about scarcity of resources and the approaching era of “peak oil,” yet the more oil we use, the more we discover, along with innovative technologies to more efficiently extract it. The U.S. has an estimated 310 billion barrels of technically recoverable oil, more than Saudi Arabia, and the numbers keep growing every year. Those estimates have jumped over 30 percent in just a decade, even though we have already extracted over 30 billion barrels during that period.

It is the Hanukkah oil miracle of America. God has blessed this country with such an abundance of natural resources that we are doing pretty well, despite the debt, dependency, and soft socialism throughout our mismanaged government. Whether we deserve it or not, God renews his creation every day.

And it’s not just important for economic prosperity, but for global security and diplomatic prowess against Russia and Iran. The oil and natural gas boom is allowing us to break Russia’s monopoly and stranglehold over Europe’s precarious dependency on energy imports. With revenue from oil and gas constituting roughly 40 percent of Russia’s budget, neutralizing that monopoly will mitigate any emerging threat Russia poses in economic dominance. We will also break the monopoly of OPEC and take a serious bite out of petro-terrorism.

So, what could stop this great American energy miracle? Not Russia or Iran. As always, we are our own worst enemy. Environmentalist judges are shutting down oil permits that are lawfully issued by the Department of the Interior and the EPA. Over the past few weeks, two federal judges have said Trump must continue Obama’s policies of blocking off drilling in hundreds of thousands of acres in Wyoming and the Alaska Arctic Outer Continental Shelf.

Then, states are blocking construction of more pipelines. While we have record production and refining of crude oil, there is still a need to transport that oil, which requires more pipelines. There is an infrastructure bottleneck being created by states like New York blocking more oil streams into New England.

Judges are also blocking pipeline construction. A single judge in Montana indefinitely delayed the beginning of the Keystone XL Pipeline construction to connect the lines from Alberta to Nebraska.

Our Founders created the Constitution to prevent states from impeding this very sort of interstate and international commerce, yet now single district judges are able to do so. Trump issued two executive orders to deal with state recalcitrance on pipelines. The first one would direct the EPA to give states clear guidance of compliance with Section 401 of the Clean Water Act, limiting their ability to make up new excuses for blocking permitting. It also directs the Transportation Department to begin allowing liquefied natural gas to be shipped in approved rail tank cars. The second order will transfer authority for permitting and approving pipeline construction that crosses international borders from the secretary of state to the president himself.

While announcing the executive actions yesterday, President Trump declared at an energy facility outside Houston, “We’ve ended the war on American energy.” That may be so, as long as we don’t allow the courts to control our energy production as they control our border. President Trump Is Considering Scrapping a Government Agency

President Donald Trump is expected to dissolve the Office of Personnel Management at some point during this summer, according to a report from the Washington Post.

What is the Office of Personnel Management?

The Office of Personnel Management works as sort of a massive human resources agency for the federal government. According to its website, “OPM directs human resources and employee management services, administers retirement benefits, manages healthcare and insurance programs, oversees merit-based and inclusive hiring into the civil service, and provides a secure employment process.”

In 2019, OPM had a self-declared total operating budget of $295,920,000.

Trump only recently appointed a new head to the agency, nominating Dale Cabaniss of Virginia on March 4.

What would happen?

The Washington Post reported that Trump plans to break up the agency into three sections, which would be absorbed by the Defense Department, the General Services Administration, and the Office of Management and Budget. Initially, all employees would be reassigned to one of these different sections, rather than being laid off. However, the total number of employees would be slowly reduced by not replacing those who retire or who leave due to other reasons. Currently, the agency employs 5,565 people.

The acting head of the agency, Margaret Weichert, called the move “a big, exemplary step,” according to the Washington Post. She said that the agency was “fundamentally not set up for success, structurally.”

Democrats like Rep. Gerry Connolly, D-Va., spoke out strongly against this move, calling it executive overreach. However, as the Washington Post noted, both the Obama administration and Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign had considered dissolving the agency.

But why?

This could be a move to help shrink the overall size of the federal government. While Trump has spoken repeatedly about cutting federal spending, including asking members of his own cabinet in October to cut 5 percent of their budgets, spending has ballooned under his leadership.

Federal government spending during the first six months of this fiscal year was 13.7 percent higher than it was during former President Barack Obama’s final year in office. The federal budget deficit, the amount the government spends beyond what it takes in, for the first six months of the year came to $693 billion, according to Congressional Budget Office estimates. It is expected to pass $1 trillion in 2020.

The federal budget deficit differs from the national debt, which is made up of each yearly deficit combined with accruing interest. The budget deficit itself resets at the start of each fiscal year. The current national debt is in excess of $22 trillion. (For more from the author of “President Trump Is Considering Scrapping a Government Agency” please click HERE)

Trump’s New Interior Chief Confirmed Despite Dems’ Climate Change Fearmongering

The Senate confirmed President Trump’s latest nominee to head up the Department of the Interior by a vote of 56-41.

Three Senate Democrats — Martin Heinrich, N.M., Kirsten Sinema, Ariz., and Joe Manchin, W.V. — along with Independent Sen. Angus King, Maine, joined their Republican colleagues in voting for the nominee.

David Bernhardt will take over the job vacated by former Secretary Ryan Zinke in December and was confirmed despite vocal objections from Democratic lawmakers.

In addition to his record as an attorney and Interior Department official under President George W. Bush, Bernhardt also used to work as an energy lobbyist for a time. That portion of resume generated the bulk of his opposition from Democrats who claim that his supposed conflicts of interest disqualify him from the job.

Bernhardt’s confirmation hearing made a lot of headlines, not necessarily because of the nominee’s testimony, but because of an onlooker who wore a swamp monster mask in the chamber while it was happening.

Earlier this week, a group of over 50 House Democrats sent out a letter to their colleagues in the upper chamber, urging them to oppose Bernhardt’s nomination.

“As our climate crisis only grows in urgency and magnitude, it is more important than ever that we have a secretary who will defend and protect our natural resources and wildlife,” the letter reads. “Unfortunately, Mr. Bernhardt has a lengthy record of advancing corporate interests at the expense of the environment.”

Before the vote, Sen. Cory Gardner, R-Colo., took to the floor to defend Bernhardt against the accusations.

“Over the course of the last couple months, the Washington, D.C., political smear machine has been working overtime to sully a good man’s name,” Gardner said while touting Bernhardt’s background at the Department of Interior and his ethics record.

“This is not about Mr. Bernhardt’s ethics or his integrity or his qualifications,” Gardner later added. “It’s about the fact that he has been and will be effective at implementing an agenda that the other side doesn’t agree with. Because they know he will be effective at protecting our great outdoors and our public lands.” (For more from the author of “Trump’s New Interior Chief Confirmed Despite Dems’ Climate Change Fearmongering” please click HERE)

House Democrats Introduce Bill Forcing Schools to Allow Boys on Girls Sports Teams

A large number of Democrat politicians in Congress want to take away the power of local schools to make their own rules, regarding gender and sports. House Democrats overwhelmingly voted for a bill on Wednesday, that would force all schools to allow boys who claim to be transgender, to compete against natural-born female competitors.

All but one of the 235 members of the Democrat caucus along with two left-wing Republicans are co-sponsoring a bill they are calling the “Equality Act.” The bill would amend the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to force schools to allow transgenders to play on school sports teams that correspond to their “chosen” gender. . .

Transgender “girls” competing against natural-born girls is an especially thorny issue that has riled schools across the country.

In Texas, for instance, Mack Beggs, a student from Euless, Texas, claims to be transitioning from female to male using doses of testosterone but has been allowed to compete against girls in school wrestling. Perhaps unsurprisingly, and to much criticism, Beggs has easily defeated every female competitor met on the mats.

In another case, a student born a male assuming the identity of a girl has beaten all female contestants in Track & Field competitions in Alaska. And in another incident, a student born male but claiming to be female has consistently beaten all female contestants in track events in a Connecticut high school district. Flashback: Hillary Clinton Suggested Drone Strike on Assange

Following the arrest of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange today, Breitbart News has decided to flash back to allegations from October 2016 in which Hillary Clinton suggested that the U.S. government drone strike Assange.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was arrested at the Ecuadorian embassy in London today. Reports have now been made that the arrest was the result of an extradition warrant on behalf of the United States. Many U.S. politicians seemed happy with the extradition of Assange including Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) who stated during an interview with CNN: “It will be really good to get him back on United States soil. He’s our property. We can get the facts and the truth from him.”

Many politicians dislike Julian Assange. But one U.S. politician seems to dislike him in particular, Hillary Clinton. In an article published in October 2016 — shortly after the publication of multiple internal DNC emails – Clinton is alleged to have discussed a plan to silence Assange.

“Can’t we just drone this guy?” allegedly asked Clinton. The comment from Clinton caused laughter from the other top state officials present at the time, but this laughter died down as Clinton continued to discuss the idea stating that Assange was a soft target “walking around” freely, according to the article.
