Hollywood Freaks over Trump’s ‘Salute to America’ Event

A slew of Hollywood figures freaked out on Wednesday over President Donald Trump’s highly anticipated “Salute to America” event, scheduled to kick off on July 4th, saying it’s “all out of his Nazi playbook.”

“In the face of a humanitarian crisis, that this malignant narcissist would steal taxpayer dollars to stage a partisan display of Autocracy to massage his damaged psyche is nothing short of sociopathic,” left-wing director Rob Reiner said Wednesday.

President Trump in February announced that he intended to hold a massive event in Washington, D.C., on Independence Day.

“HOLD THE DATE! We will be having one of the biggest gatherings in the history of Washington, D.C., on July 4th. It will be called “A Salute To America” and will be held at the Lincoln Memorial. Major fireworks display, entertainment and an address by your favorite President, me!” the president said.

. . .

Indeed, the “Salute to America” event is set to begin at 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. ET on Thursday and will feature remarks from President Trump, military aircraft flyovers, and performances by each branch of the military.

Mother of ‘Drag Kid’ Blasts ‘Convicted Pedophile’ for Sexualizing Her Child, Goes After Conservative Media

In an Instagram post published last week, Wendy Napoles, the mother of 11-year-old Desmond Napoles — a so-called “drag kid” known as “Desmond is Amazing” — blasted a “convicted pedophile” blogger for sexualizing her young son, calling his statements “highly inappropriate.” Napoles also took a shot at “conservative media” for allegedly suggesting she is “purposely attracting pedophiles.”

“This is extremely disturbing. Convicted pedophile Tom O’Carroll has written a blog post stating that Desmond is hot & feels sexy performing,” wrote Napoles. “He also sexualizes fellow drag kid Queen Lactatia.” . . .

Turning her attention to “conservative media,” Napoles blasted, “First, the Conservative press is currently accusing us of purposely attracting pedophiles & accusing the LGBTQ community of supporting this,” she claimed. “What Tom O’Carroll has said is out of our control & we do not know him or associate with him or any other pedophiles or sex offenders. I think if a pedophile wants to act on their urges, NO child is safe.” . . .

“Desmond does not move in a sexual manner or strip, at all,” she claimed. “He has done costume reveals that reveal a fully covered costume underneath. He is never ‘scantily clad’ or nearly naked & always is age appropriate. He does celebrity impersonations & does not choose to do sexy celebrities.”

However, Desmond’s parents made waves last year when the “drag kid” performed a dance number in full drag at a New York City gay bar. As he removed his jacket and bounced around on stage, howling men handed him dollar bills. The jaw-dropping event, captured on video, sparked backlash from the public, calling attention to Napoles seemingly engaging in the sexualization of her own child through such “drag” performances. And It Looks like We Have Our First 2020 Democratic Drop Out

By Townhall. Well, it looks like we could have our first Democratic drop out for the 2020 race. Former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper has tried to get a foothold in this race. It hasn’t worked out. The collapse has been quite rapid. His staff was reportedly jumping ship, with his finance director leaving to join Beto O’Rourke’s (he’s really a white guy named Bob) campaign, which will also end in failure. Still, for those looking for work in this arena, Beto is a few more weeks of oxygen (via Politico):

The national finance director for John Hickenlooper’s presidential campaign is departing and joining rival Beto O’Rourke’s effort, O’Rourke’s campaign told POLITICO on Monday.

The aide, Dan Sorenson, is leaving the former two-term Colorado governor the day after the deadline for 2nd-quarter fundraising and after last week’s Democratic debate — an ominous sign for a presidential bid that has struggled to gain traction.

Twenty-four hours later, we have reports of Hickenlooper’s senior aides telling him to drop out…a month ago. Oh, and he’s about to completely run out of money:

The source said that the campaign only has about 13,000 donors, making it almost impossible to qualify for the next round of presidential debates in the fall. The campaign also only raised just over $1 million in the second quarter — about what he raised in the first 48 hours of his candidacy — and will likely run out of money completely in about a month.

2020 Democratic presidential candidates reveal second quarter fundraising efforts

By CBS News. The 2020 Democratic presidential candidates are revealing how deep and broad their support is, after 20 candidates met onstage in two consecutive nights for the first primary debates in June. . .

Every Democratic candidate is likely to fall well short of President Trump’s fundraising numbers in the second quarter. According to the Trump campaign, the president and his joint campaign committees raised $54 million while the Republican National Committee raised $51 million. The Trump campaign raised over $30 million in the first quarter of the year. . .

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders raised $24 million in the second quarter, according his campaign, although $6 million was transferred from previous accounts. . .

South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg raised $24.8 million in the second quarter of 2019, more than tripling his fundraising from the first quarter of the year and indicating his staying power in the race for the White House. Trump’s Campaign Manager Reveals His Thoughts About 2020

Trump 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale isn’t worried about whoever emerges as the Democratic challenger next year and is confident the president will win four more years in the White House.

“I think the president could beat anybody. The momentum we’re seeing right now. I mean look… one hundred five million raised, a hundred million cash on hand. What we’re seeing overall the president success is overseas, the momentum behind this president right now is like nothing that history has ever seen,” Parscale said Tuesday on “The Story with Martha MacCallum” dismissing Democratic presidential contenders Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris and Pete Buttigieg’s rise in the polls and campaign fundraising.

The Trump campaign announced Tuesday that its re-election operation raised a whopping $105 million in the second quarter, significantly more than Democrats have been pulling in.

A Quinnipiac poll released Tuesday showed Joe Biden at 22 percent, down 8 points from a prior poll in June. Harris, meanwhile, soared from just 7 percent to 20 percent in the latest survey, putting her in a statistical tie with the Democratic powerhouse. Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren held steady at 14 percent. . .

“We’re not even in the main portion of the campaign yet where we’re already raising large numbers, this president in the voice he has, the message he can control, in the way he can control what’s happening on the media. No one can touch this,” Parscale said. (Read more from “Trump’s Campaign Manager Reveals His Thoughts About 2020” HERE)

Watch: Ilhan Omar Won’t Release Tax Returns; Promotes Unhinged Trump Attacks

By PJ Media. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) has refused to answer any questions about her tax return issues that the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board recently discovered.

According to the board, Omar filed joint tax returns for the years 2014 and 2015 with Ahmed Abdisalan Hirsi, who she was not legally married to at the time. Omar was reportedly married to Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, a British citizen, for those years but her tax returns were filed with Hirsi, which is a violation of Minnesota state law as well as federal law. . .

Omar also wouldn’t say why she had filed joint tax returns with a man she was not married to at the time. According to the AP, “while she has called for President Donald Trump to release his tax returns, her campaign did not acknowledge the AP’s request to release hers. Her campaign also did not answer a question about whether there might be issues with other tax returns prior to Omar’s marriage to Hirsi in 2018.” (Read more from “Watch: Ilhan Omar Won’t Release Tax Returns” HERE)

Ilhan Omar Promotes Ex-Hillary Aide’s Unhinged Anti-Trump Attacks

By Fox News. One of Hillary Clinton’s former top aides went on the attack against President Trump on Tuesday, seemingly to the delight of Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn.

In the wild rant, Peter Daou claimed that under President Trump, the country endured a variety of conditions that many thought could never happen in the United States.

Daou, who also led the left-leaning outlet ShareBlue, has been an outspoken critic of the president and criticized the media in 2017 for its “disdainful coverage” of Clinton’s 2016 campaign. . .

Daou’s tweets echoed many of Omar’s previous criticisms of Republican leadership. She has, for example, accused immigration enforcement of “killing” children under Trump.

Earlier this year, Omar also branded herself as Trump’s “biggest nemesis” because she’s a “nightmare” for the White House that wants to use her “identity to marginalize our communities.” (Read more from “Ilhan Omar Promotes Ex-Hillary Aide’s Unhinged Anti-Trump Attacks” HERE)

State Loses Hundreds of Teachers After They Are Ruled Ineligible

You would think that in the midst of a national teacher shortage, states would be willing to undue some of the stifling regulation tape in order to make it easier for teachers to teach. However, taking the exact opposite tact, Mississippi has decided to begin enforcing licensing regulations more consistently; the end result is that Jackson Public School District is losing 236 teachers. Similarly, school districts throughout the state are finding themselves minus teachers they were expecting for the upcoming school year.

All 236 of the Jackson teachers were first-year teachers holding a temporary license that enabled them to teach. And all 236 are ineligible to teach next year because they failed to meet the licensing requirements for second-year teachers.

No doubt, when squinting at this story really hard the teachers deserve some of the blame. Based on a story in Mississippi Today, though, the lion’s share of the blame lies elsewhere—most notably on the Mississippi Department of Education. Whatever blame the teachers may deserve is most likely for trusting other people tasked with helping them through the licensing process.

Education leaders like district superintendents and college deans of education have said they thought that candidates had three years to meet the licensing requirements, and only had to show that candidates were making progress toward completion in order to renew the special non-renewable license for nontraditional teachers. In years past, this has been the case with teachers using this license.

Mississippi Department of Education officials say that the rules for the license have never changed and that problems are arising now because of a misunderstanding with local school leaders.

Arizona Gov Makes Major Announcement After Nike Pulls American Flag Shoe

On Tuesday, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, a Republican, announced that the state would be withdrawing financial incentives promised to Nike over the company dropping an American flag-style shoe, reportedly at the behest of former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

“The Betsy Ross Flag” edition shoe was kicked to the curb by the athletic gear giant after Kaepernick complained about the new sneakers, allegedly calling them “offensive.” The former QB, who famously took a knee during the playing of the national anthem before NFL games, claiming to protest police brutality and racial injustices, signed a multi-million dollar sponsorship deal with Nike last year.

“Words cannot express my disappointment at this terrible decision. I am embarrassed for Nike,” Gov. Ducey posted in a string of tweets on Tuesday morning. “Nike is an iconic American brand and American company. This country, our system of government and free enterprise have allowed them to prosper and flourish.”

New Poll Has Horrible News for Bernie Sanders

The first Democratic debate reshaped the presidential field in Iowa as support surged for California Sen. Kamala Harris, undercutting the standing of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and raising questions about the solidity of former Vice President Joe Biden’s front-runner status.

In a new Suffolk University/USA TODAY Poll, Biden continues to lead the field, backed by 24% of those who say they are likely to attend the Democratic caucuses in Iowa that will open the presidential contests next year. Harris jumped to second place, at 16%, leapfrogging over Sanders, whose support sagged to single digits. At 9%, he finished fourth, behind Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren at 13%.

The new standings are hardly set in stone. Twenty-one percent are undecided. Six of 10 who have decided say they might change their mind before the caucuses. One in four say their minds are firmly made up. The second set of debates, scheduled for the end of the month in Detroit, could upend the horse race again.

The survey has some sobering findings for Biden, a familiar figure in the state. His level of support didn’t change from the Des Moines Register/Mediacom/CNN Iowa Poll taken last month, but among those who watched him debate, more than four in 10 say he did worse than they expected. Among all of those surveyed, he is the second choice of 11%. . .

For Sanders, who lost the 2016 Iowa caucuses to Hillary Clinton by less than a point, the new poll has warning flags. His support is 7 points lower than in the Iowa Poll taken in June, when he finished second to Biden. When first and second choices are combined, Sanders finishes fifth – trailing Biden, Harris and Warren by double digits and Buttigieg by single digits. Model Deluged with Hate Mail for…Getting Pregnant?

A long time ago, in an America far, far away, people would celebrate women upon whom God bestows the gift of carrying new life, even if those women happened to be Sports Illustrated swimsuit models. In 2019, however, the rules have changed. Just ask Samantha Hoopes, who told Fox News in a lengthy interview about the hate mail she received just for announcing her pregnancy.

As noted by LifeNews, Hoopes announced her pregnancy this past April in an Instagram post that extolled the power of womanhood to bring forth new life into the world. “We are so happy to finally announce baby Palella arriving in August!” wrote Hoopes. “This journey so far has opened my eyes to how beautiful the woman’s body is! It’s truly incredible what nature can do and what love between two people can create.” . . .

“I have people going into my DMs saying their goodbyes to me or that they’re leaving me forever because I’m pregnant,” Hoopes told Fox News. “This one kid wrote, ‘Wow, I followed you since I was 15 and now I’m 20. You’re pregnant now and I just wanted to say goodbye.’ Alright, goodbye, I don’t need you in my life anyway. But I am getting messages where it sounds like I’m dying or something because I’m pregnant. One wrote ‘It’s been fun these past five years. Goodbye.’ But again, you don’t need those type of people in your life.” . . .

“Really, pregnancy is so beautiful. You’re creating a baby. You’re creating a life,” she said. “You’re creating the next generation. We have the capability to do that and I’m just in awe of it all. Yes, I’m getting cellulite that I didn’t have before, but this is a beautiful moment in my life. And my bump has become my biggest accessory. I love showing off my bump in tight clothes because it’s so cute.” (Read more from “Model Deluged with Hate Mail for…Getting Pregnant?” HERE)

Hispanic Pastors: We Toured the Border Detention Centers and Ocasio-Cortez Is Doling out Some Big Lies

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and the Democratic Party have been peddling some serious allegations about the detention facilities housing illegal aliens at the southern border. Of course, they’re trying to paint the Trump administration or any administration that supports enforcing federal immigration laws as fascistic in nature. The overcrowding, the lack of basic supplies, no soap, no toothbrushes, etc. the outrage is deafening from the Left and their media allies. It’s very entertaining. Yes, it is—because these same clowns said that the border crisis and the horde of illegals swarming the border was a manufactured crisis peddled by the Trump White House. Nope. You’re wrong—as always.

Ocasio-Cortez recently threw a tantrum at Border Patrol agents, refusing a tour, but threw in the toilet water allegations that got the liberal media going. Allegedly, those detained were told to drink from toilets. That’s somewhat true in the sense that the sinks at these facilities are located on top of the toilets; they’re connected. Yet, AOC reportedly didn’t even go into the facility.

Sorry, I don’t believe it. These are the most partisan left-wingers on the Hill hell-bent on getting Trump. It’s an election year. And the fact that AOC wouldn’t say if she saw people drinking from the toilets is a red flag. We’re not Venezuela, folks or at least not yet. Hispanic pastors recently toured the border detention facilities and found that there were quite a bit of lies being pushed by the Left (via Fox News):

Rev. Samuel Rodriguez was “full of indignation” when he saw the reports and heard from politicians about the deplorable and inhumane conditions for illegal immigrants at an El Paso County, Texas migrant detention center. But what he saw at the same facility toured by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y. with a group of pastors was “drastically different.” . . .

“We found no soiled diapers, no deplorable conditions and no lack of basic necessities,” Rodriguez remarked, adding he specifically asked border agents if they staged the facility in response to the negative press. “They unequivocally denied it — we were witnessing the identical conditions the attorneys saw when they toured the facility days earlier.”
