More Than 1,000 People Give Their Lives to Jesus During Altar Call at Moving Kanye West Sunday Service (VIDEO)

More than 1,000 concertgoers reportedly dedicated their lives to Jesus Christ on Friday during rapper Kanye West’s latest free Sunday Service in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. . .

West took the stage in a rather humble fashion and performed several of songs from his new hit album, “Jesus is King.”

He kicked off the service with “Closed on Sunday,” which name drops Chick-fil-A.

“You are my Chick-Fil-A,” West rapped during the packed performance. “Hold the selfies. Put the ‘gram away. Get your family. Y’all hold hands and pray. … Raise our sons. Train them in the faith, through temptations. Make sure they’re wide awake. Follow Jesus. Listen and obey.”

According to Curvine Brewington, pastor at Crossroads Church in Lafayette, Louisiana, the crowd was on fire for God.

If you’ve ever doubted the legitimacy or spiritual impact of this #sundayservice project, simply look at this incredible shot taken by @the.smitan during the altar call. YES, I said ALTAR CALL. 😲 Tonight, worship was lifted, the name of Christ was exalted, the Word of God was preached, a multitude prayed together, the Gospel was clearly proclaimed, and an opportunity to respond was given. In a crowd of 6,000 people from all walks of life, all ages, and all races, i witnessed over 1,000 people respond to The Gospel by raising their hands to accept Jesus as their Lord & Savior! 😱🙌🏾 Say what you want, & think what you want…. But trust me when I tell you – The Spirit of the Living God was indeed present. I danced, wept, stood in awe of God’s redemptive work, & can honestly say that tonight I witnessed a new wave of REVIVAL first hand. #Jesusisking • Isaiah 43:19 “Behold I do a NEW thing. • 1 Corinthians 1:27 “But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. • #excited #inspired 📸 @the.smitan

Hunter Biden-Linked Firm Asked Obama Administration for Help Amid Corruption Probe

Ukrainian gas firm Burisma Holdings — where Hunter Biden was employed as a board member — asked the Obama State Department for assistance when the company was being investigated for corruption, just one month before then-Vice President Joe Biden forced the country to fire the prosecutor looking into his son’s company.

Investigative journalist John Solomon uncovered the findings in a bombshell report on Monday, revealing several memos he obtained through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit. The documents show several meetings set up between Obama administration officials and Burisma employees, including Hunter Biden, during the 2016 election cycle.

Solomon notes that Hunter Biden’s name “was specifically invoked by [a] Burisma representative as a reason the State Department should help, according to a series of email exchanges among U.S. officials trying to arrange the meeting.”

A Feb. 24, 2016 email between State Department officials (with the headline, “Burisma”), reads:

Per our conversation, Karen Tramontano of Blue Star Strategies requested a meeting to discuss with U/S Novelli USG remarks alleging Burisma (Ukrainian energy company) of corruption. She noted that two high profile U.S. citizens are affiliated with the company (including Hunter Biden as a board member). Tramontano would like to talk with U/S Novelli about getting a better understanding of how the U.S. came to the determination that the company is corrupt. According to Tramontano, there is no evidence of corruption, has been no hearing or process, and evidence to the contrary has not been considered. Would appreciate any background you may be able to provide on this issue.

Trump to Withhold Federal Aid for California Wildfires – This Is the Reason Why

President Donald Trump on Sunday tweeted that the federal government would no longer provide federal money to help with wildfires in California. According to the president, California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) has “done a terrible job of forest management” because of environmentalists.

Newsom clapped back at the president, clearly blaming climate change on the state’s massive wildfires.

NY Governor Preparing to Release 900 Criminals and Offer Mets Tickets to Show up for Trial

It looks like Christmas will come early this year in New York for violent criminals, while peaceful taxpayers will be stuck with a lump of coal.

Come January 1, thanks to a bill signed earlier this year by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, criminals arrested for roughly 400 categories of misdemeanors and felonies will be released immediately without the need to post any cash bail pretrial. Other criminals will get off with limited cash bail or other forms of unsecured bond. This means that people arrested for criminally negligent homicide, any drug trafficking and gang activity, or aggravated assault (even against children) will be released indefinitely while awaiting trial, which often takes a long time. This law applies retroactively to those already in jail awaiting trial for these crimes.

Now, the New York Post is reporting that the state Office of Court Administration is now working on a plan to begin staggering 880 releases of current criminals beginning in December. According to the Post, the Legal Aid Society, a taxpayer-funded legal aid group that has notoriously helped free violent criminals, is already filing motions to get these people released as soon as possible. The Legal Aid Society is the same taxpayer-funded group that is now defending Randy Santos, the man accused of beating four homeless men to death in Chinatown last month.

“It is completely arbitrary and cruel to hold people pre-trial now who will have to be released come Jan. 1,” said Marie Ndiaye, a lawyer for the Legal Aid Society. In the case of Santos, he was on the streets despite numerous arrests for violent crimes and skipping court hearings. It’s richly ironic for the Legal Aid Society to be promoting a new jailbreak program under the promise that these people released pretrial won’t skip court dates. The only cruelty here is leaving the most violent criminals on the streets to assault, sexually molest, and murder.

But fear not, as an incentive for them to show up at court, a plan is being concocted by Mayor Bill de Blasio’s Office of Criminal Justice. The Post reports that he is trying to bribe these criminals with free tickets to Mets baseball games as an incentive to show up for trial. The assumption is that the Mets are not as popular as the Yankees. But as one cop is quoted as saying, “Are Yankees tickets reserved for murderers? I am sure it will only be a matter of time before they get out on no bail.’’

Another cop quoted by the Post asked rhetorically, “What do the victims get — to watch it on TV?’’

This is no joke, though. And it’s not just happening in liberal bastions like New York. Republicans and even President Trump have bought into this notion of one-sided “criminal justice reform” and “bail reform” all focused on leniencies for criminals.

Yesterday, the president was still touting the federal jailbreak bill known as First Step Act, which retroactively freed many of the worst gang-bangers and drug traffickers with long rap sheets who graduated to the federal system.

As I’ve noted before, jailbreak policies hurt African-Americans more than anyone else, a point the president made consistently before ceding this issue to the jailbreak movement. The overwhelming majority of the public wants government to be tougher, not weaker, on crime.

The jailbreak fever has permeated every aspect of politics in Oklahoma, a state where the majority of every single county’s residents voted for the Republican presidential nominee over the past four elections cycles. The Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board is recommending the immediate release of 527 inmates. It is all designed to lower the prison population as an end to itself – with no sense of balance for public safety. It’s one thing to target very small numbers of individuals for leniencies, but at the same time focus on numerous violent criminals like Andrew Munoz who have escaped justice in states like Oklahoma and wound up killing a mother and daughter in Oklahoma City earlier this year.

For every one person some might think are over-sentenced, there are numberless violent criminals who are under-sentenced or never sentenced, but few politicians in either party seem interested in focusing on them. This is all a one-sided jailbreak.

The delegitimization of justice and incarceration is also continuing to take a toll on cops. As part of the growing trend of open and brazen physical attacks on cops in New York, an NYPD vehicle was trashed with rotten food and eggs on Halloween night in the Bronx as two officers responded to a domestic dispute. While the officers were patiently cleaning up the car, they were being openly taunted by some local residents on the streets.

Here’s a case just from this week. According to the New York Daily News, Musa Williams, 25, was arrested for a string of crimes in the Washington, D.C., area and was sent back to Manhattan Friday on a warrant for having missed a September 24 appearance in criminal court on criminal mischief charges in NYC. Despite his long rap sheet, Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Laurie Peterson released Williams on his own recognizance that very same day. Two days later, he is accused of beating a Port Authority officer “so badly Sunday morning that he broke the 27-year-old cop’s nose and cut his left eyeball.”

The president has always strongly backed law enforcement, but now he needs to realize that agreeing to the Left’s premise that the criminal justice system unjustly incarcerates too many people is contributing to the war on cops. He already gave a “first step” to criminals. Now he should focus on a first step policy for law enforcement, victims of crime, and the 99 percent of the public who are law-abiding citizens, rather than offering a “second step” to criminals. When is Christmas for people who want safe streets? (For more from the author of “NY Governor Preparing to Release 900 Criminals and Offer Mets Tickets to Show up for Trial” please click HERE)

Kanye’s ‘Jesus Is King’ Album Debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard Charts, Tying Record

Kanye West’s new counter-cultural, Jesus-praising album has generated a ton of public discussion since its release; now, it has also generated a new tied record for its creator.

A story at Billboard explains that Kanye West’s “Jesus Is King” album — which was released on October 25 by G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam Records — has become the artist’s ninth consecutive number-one debut on the Billboard 200 chart, tying him with Eminem’s record.

According to the outlet, the Billboard 200 chart ranks album sales based on a combination of traditional purchases, downloads, and song streams. West’s newest album earned 264,000 “equivalent album units” during its first week, which ended on Thursday. Of that total, 109,000 were from album sales, while the balance was largely from streaming activity.

West’s ninth straight number-one album ties him for sixth for overall number-one albums in the chart’s history alongside the Rolling Stones, Madonna, and Garth Brooks, Billboard explains. The Beatles currently hold the top spot with 19 number-one albums overall. “Jesus Is King” also helped drive the single biggest streaming week of West’s career, the story adds.

Past its sales, download, and streaming numbers, the album also appears to be generating some interest in finding out about Christianity as well. According to a Faithwire report, internet searches for scripture and questions about Christianity spiked during the week after its release. The American Bible Society, which was founded in 1816, even responded to the trend by offering to send up to 1,000 free Bibles to scripturally curious Kanye fans.

But despite all the hype “Jesus Is King” has created, not everyone has been completely on board with the the new God-fearing, Bible-quoting Kanye. While West’s public conversion and new direction have driven some to inquire about Christianity, others have taken the more skeptical skeptical approach of questioning the legitimacy of the change.

One megachurch pastor, Greg Laurie, even felt the need to address the artist’s public inquisitors, telling them to “Just shut up for a minute” and “pray that he gets grounded in his faith, pray that he’s a seed sown on good ground that brings forth much fruit.” (For more from the author of “Kanye’s ‘Jesus Is King’ Album Debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard Charts, Tying Record” please click HERE)

WATCH: Joe Biden Presses Face up Against Young Girl After Promising to Give Women Space

Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden encroached on the personal space boundaries he recently said he’d be “more mindful” of while attending a campaign event in Des Moines, Iowa, on Friday.

Biden, who’s been plagued with concerns over his inappropriate touching and lack of respect for personal boundaries, pressed his nose up against one young girl wearing glasses while meeting with potential voters and their families. “Now, what grade are you in?” the former vice president asked the girl before pulling away. . .

The encounter comes in the wake of Biden addressing his personal-space issue in a video posted to social media, wherein he blames his questionable interactions on changing “social norms.”

“Social norms are changing,” he captioned the video, which was posted in April. “I understand that, and I’ve heard what these women are saying. Politics to me has always been about making connections, but I will be more mindful about respecting personal space in the future. That’s my responsibility and I will meet it.”

“Today I want to talk about gestures of support and encouragement that I’ve made to women and some men that have made them uncomfortable,” Biden says in the clip, according to HuffPost. “And I’ve always tried, in my career, I’ve always tried to make a human connection ― that’s my responsibility, I think. I shake hands, I hug people, I grab men and women by the shoulders and say, ‘You can do this.’ Whether they’re women, men, young, old, it’s the way I’ve always been, it’s the way I’ve tried to show I care about them and listen.” (Read more from “Joe Biden Presses Face up Against Young Girl After Promising to Give Women Space” HERE)

Trump Admin Begins Withdrawal from Paris Climate Accord

The Trump administration announced on Monday that it was officially withdrawing from the Paris Climate Accord, with the withdrawal officially set to be completed one year from now.

“President Trump made the decision to withdraw from the Paris Agreement because of the unfair economic burden imposed on American workers, businesses, and taxpayers by U.S. pledges made under the Agreement,” Secretary of State Mike Pompeo wrote in a statement. “The United States has reduced all types of emissions, even as we grow our economy and ensure our citizens’ access to affordable energy.”

“Our results speak for themselves: U.S. emissions of criteria air pollutants that impact human health and the environment declined by 74% between 1970 and 2018,” Pompeo added. “U.S. net greenhouse gas emissions dropped 13% from 2005-2017, even as our economy grew over 19 percent.” . . .

President Donald Trump has repeatedly hammered the Paris Accord and the media’s spin on the subject of climate change. . .

Today the United States began the process to withdraw from the Paris Agreement. Per the terms of the Agreement, the United States submitted formal notification of its withdrawal to the United Nations. The withdrawal will take effect one year from delivery of the notification. Pregnant Mother Uses AR-15 to Defend Against Thugs, Saves Her Husband

Another gun control talking point has been debunked after a pregnant woman, who remains unnamed, used an AR-15 to defend herself and her family from a violent home invasion.

Masked individuals broke into her Florida home and severely beat her husband, who suffered serious injuries. He thought he was going to die. . .

King said the two suspects grabbed his 11-year old daughter and his wife grabbed their AR-15. She shot one of them, who then ran out of the house and died in a ditch nearby. The other suspect is still on the run.

“Them guys came in with two normal pistols and my AR stopped it,” he explained, again to Spectrum News. “[She] evened the playing field and kept them from killing me.” (Read more from “Pregnant Mother Uses AR-15 to Defend Against Thugs, Saves Her Husband” HERE)

Former Obama Campaign Manager: Dem Nominee Is Going to Be ‘Broke and Tired’

President Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign manager, David Plouffe, is working with Acronym, a progressive organization that plans to spend $75 million on digital advertising in key battleground states, The New York Times reported. It turns out the left is increasingly concerned about President Donald Trump’s lead in battleground states, which is why the group is focusing on Arizona, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

“The gun on this general election does not start when we have a nominee; it started months ago,” Plouffe told The Times. “If the things that need to happen don’t happen in these battleground states between now and May or June, our nominee will never have time to catch up.”

Acronym wants to raise as much money as possible so that the Democratic nominee is in a decent position to take Trump on in the general election. According to Plouffe, this is about the Democrats playing catch-up with Trump and the Republican National Committee.

“Our nominee is going to be broke, tired, have to pull together the party and turn around on a dime and run a completely different race for a completely different audience,” Plouffe said. “There is an enormous amount of danger between now and then. If the hole is too steep to dig out of, they’re not going to win.” (Read more from “Former Obama Campaign Manager: Dem Nominee Is Going to Be ‘Broke and Tired'” HERE)

In Decision Certain to Draw Fire, Journal Will Publish Heavily Criticized Paper on Gender Differences in Physics

In a move likely to attract criticism, a peer-reviewed journal has agreed to publish an Italian physicist’s highly contested analysis of publications, which concludes that female physicists don’t face more career obstacles than their male colleagues. The journal says it will also simultaneously publish critiques of the paper, which one member of the journal’s editorial board says is “flawed” and contains “unsubstantiated claims.”

Last year, physicist Alessandro Strumia received widespread criticism after presenting a talk at CERN, the European particle physics laboratory near Geneva, Switzerland, where he was a guest professor. During the presentation, he asserted that physics was built and invented by men, and stated on a slide that “Physics is not sexist against women.” Thousands of physicists signed a letter voicing concerns about Strumia’s views and some researchers published detailed critiques of his findings and methods, which focused on published papers in the field of “fundamental physics” that includes theoretical and experimental studies of fundamental particles, cosmology, and astrophysics. Some of Strumia’s critics have argued that such literature analyses are not sufficient to support his claims. Both CERN and Strumia’s employer, the University of Pisa in Italy, launched investigations. Earlier this year, CERN cut all ties with Strumia and the university released a statement condemning his comments.

The upcoming paper, which Strumia has posted on his website, has been accepted for publication by Quantitative Science Studies (QSS), which publishes “theoretical and empirical research on science and the scientific workforce.” Strumia’s study examines 1.3 million fundamental physics papers, published from 1970 to this year, which are indexed by CERN’s INSPIRE database. After identifying authors as men or women based on their names, the study confirms what Strumia calls a “well known” gender skew in fundamental physics: For every four new male Ph.D.s who publish, there is just one new female Ph.D. Strumia also concludes that male and female physicists have similar opinions about which papers deserve to be cited, and that authors of both genders cite their own studies at similar rates. (That finding diverges from a 2016 analysis, which Strumia cites, that concluded male authors cite their own work on average 56% more than female authors.) Strumia also finds that the publication records, which show institutional affiliations, reveal no statistically significant difference in how quickly men and women are hired after receiving their Ph.D.s, or the rate at which they stop publishing in the field, which Strumia uses as an indicator for when a researcher has left academic research. Strumia notes this finding contradicts other studies that have found that a higher proportion of women drop out of academia than men.

The primary takeaway from his study, Strumia tells ScienceInsider, is that men and women have equal opportunities in fundamental physics, and women don’t necessarily face a more hostile work environment. “This is what comes out from the data,” he says. “I believe [this] because I see this in the data.” (Read more from “In Decision Certain to Draw Fire, Journal Will Publish Heavily Criticized Paper on Gender Differences in Physics” HERE)
