Navy Secretary Who Opposed Trump on Navy SEAL Case FIRED

The Trump administration fired Navy Secretary Richard Spencer on Sunday for a “lack of candor” in the handling of the case of Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher, who was acquitted of charges earlier this year accusing him of shooting civilians, murdering a captive ISIS terrorist, and threatening Navy SEALs who reported him.

However, Gallagher “was convicted of one charge: bringing discredit to the armed forces by posing for photos with the teenage captive’s dead body,” The New York Times reported. Last Friday, Mr. Trump reversed that demotion, angering Navy officials, including the commander of the SEALs, Rear Adm. Collin Green, who had little choice but to accept the reversal. Nonetheless, they continued with their plans to eject Chief Gallagher from the unit.”

The Times reported that Spencer had threatened to resign over the order from the commander-in-chief, however, Spencer denied that claim in a tweet, writing: “I would like to further state that in no way, shape, or form did I ever threaten to resign. That has been incorrectly reported in the press. I serve at the pleasure of the President.”

Spencer went around the back of Defense Secretary Mark T. Esper in privately talking to White House officials, proposing “that if they did not interfere with proceedings against Gallagher, then Spencer would ensure that Gallagher was able to retire as a Navy SEAL, with his Trident insignia,” The Washington Post reported. . .

The U.S. Department of Defense said in a statement: “After Secretary Esper and Chairman Milley spoke with the Commander in Chief on Friday regarding the case of Gallagher, Secretary Esper learned that Secretary Spencer had previously and privately proposed to the White House – contrary to Spencer’s public position – to restore Gallagher’s rank and allow him to retire with his Trident pin. When recently asked by Secretary Esper, Secretary Spencer confirmed that despite multiple conversations on the Gallagher matter, Secretary Esper was never informed by Secretary Spencer of his private proposal.” (Read more from “Navy Secretary Who Opposed Trump on Navy SEAL Case Fired” HERE)

Studies Show How Families Really Act During Thanksgiving

Since President Trump’s election in 2016, far-left activists have been pushing their progressive followers into disrupting Thanksgiving dinner by arguing with their conservative family members over the current political issues.

Last year, The New York Times profiled ways for liberals to argue with their conservative family members at the dinner table, an advice column quickly outdone by Eater asserting that people are morally obligated to debate racist Trump supporters before asking them to pass the gravy. Earlier this month, Joy Reid of MSNBC laid out detailed instructions on ways to discuss the current Democratic Party witch hunt known as the impeachment inquiry at the Thanksgiving table. . .

So, do Americans by and large engage in these kinds of political skirmishes over the Thanksgiving dinner table, at least the kind that Joy Reid envisions – enlightened progressives schooling their ignorant family members about Orange Man Bad’s sexism and racism?

Studies actually show that few Americans argue on Thanksgiving; they prefer to practice that age-old axiom “agree to disagree” as they enjoy another slice of that delicious pecan pie Uncle Roscoe and Auntie Carol made from scratch.

“In reality, very few Americans actually fight about politics on Thanksgiving,” notes Abraham Gutman of The Philadelphia Inquirer. “A 2017 HuffPost/YouGov survey found that only 3% of Americans said that they are ‘very likely,’ and 8% are “somewhat likely,” to get into a political argument with family members during Thanksgiving dinner. The result held at 3% for people who expected both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton supporters to attend the dinner, though 20% said they are ‘somewhat likely’ to argue.” (Read more from “Studies Show How Families Really Act During Thanksgiving” HERE)

Epstein’s Ex-Housekeeper Has Dirt on Prince Andrew; Prince KICKED OUT of Buckingham Palace

By Fox News. Jeffrey Epstein’s ex-housekeeper for his New Mexico ranch said Prince Andrew was given a beautiful young neurosurgeon to keep him company when he visited, according to an investigative podcast.

Prince Andrew has become embroiled in controversy ever since the late alleged child sex-trafficker’s arrest in July. Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre named the Duke of York as having sex with her when she was 17 years old while he was hanging out with the disgraced millionaire. He has denied the allegations.

Deidre Stratton, a former housekeeper at Epstein’s Zorro Ranch, said in a September podcast episode of “Epstein: Devil in the Darkness” that the prince stayed at the ranch on his own and was “kept company” by a young woman. The episode was first unearthed by the Sun on Thursday evening. Stratton said the woman would often ask for herbal tea to help make the prince “horny,” according to the interview. . .

The former housekeeper continued on to say the young woman understood that she had to entertain Prince Andrew. Stratton explained two theories on why the woman was trying to please the prince, according to the podcast.

“I’m guessing she understood her job was to entertain him because I guess, the fear, I don’t know — the fear would be that Andrew would say ‘no, I didn’t really find her that attractive,’” Stratton said. “He would tell Jeffrey that and then she would be on the ropes.” (Read more from “Epstein’s Ex-Housekeeper Has Dirt on Prince Andrew” HERE)

Prince Andrew Forced to Move Office out of Buckingham Palace: Report

By Fox News. Prince Andrew was ordered to move his private offices out of Buckingham Palace in the wake of an announcement he made that he would be formally relinquishing his official duties following a nuclear interview he gave to the BBC. In it, he defended his longtime friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, according to The Times of London on Friday.

The paper reported Andrew’s own mother, Queen Elizabeth, gave the Duke of York his walking papers as he continues to face a slew of criticism amid allegations he had sex with an underage girl.

In the BBC interview, the 59-year-old prince attempted to establish an alibi for a key New York trip in the Epstein scandal, in which Andrew claimed he had stayed with former diplomat Sir Thomas Harris, the consul-general in New York at the time. Allegations made against him by accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre were impossible, Andrew said in the sit-down conversation, according to the New York Post.

Andrew also stated during the interview that he has “no recollection of ever meeting this lady, none whatsoever.”

However, Giuffre maintained in court filings that the convicted sex offender Epstein forced her to have sex with Andrew at least three times, recalling the prince “sweating all over me” on a London dance floor. Andrew, denying the claim, has pointed to his “stay” with the consul-general and claims that he cannot sweat as a consequence of a war injury. Noah’s Ark ‘Buried in Turkish Mountains’ as Experts Say 3D Scans Will Prove Biblical Ship’s Existence

The location of the real Noah’s Ark may have been confirmed by relic-hunters in a remote mountain range.

Experts claim they’ve snapped underground images of a mysterious ship-shaped object discovered half a century ago in eastern Turkey. . .

Now a film crew led by long-time ark hunter Cem Sertesen say they’ve image whatever’s down there, according to the Turkish Anadolu Agency.

The team claim they’ll reveal the pictures, obtained by “sending electric signals underground via cables”, in a forthcoming documentary about the Ark. . .

Now 3D scans of the object may prove once and for all whether Durupınar is as holy as some believe. (Read more from “Noah’s Ark ‘Buried in Turkish Mountains’ as Experts Say 3D Scans Will Prove Biblical Ship’s Existence” HERE)

Another Town Declares Itself a ‘Sanctuary for the Unborn’

A seventh Texas town voted to become a sanctuary for unborn babies Monday.

The town of Westbrook in West Texas voted unanimously on the pro-life ordinance, banning abortions and abortion facilities in their city and declaring it to be a place where unborn babies are protected and valued.

Earlier this year, Waskom, Naples, Joaquin, Tenaha and Gilmer also approved sanctuary city ordinances to protect unborn babies. Omaha was the sixth city, but it recently retracted the ordinance and passed a non-enforceable resolution instead, The Texan reports. . .

More cities are expected to follow. The biggest may be Big Spring (population 27,000), which is slated to consider a pro-life ordinance on Dec. 10.

“As a longtime believer in the right to life for the unborn, I look forward to bringing the anti-abortion ordinance to the council at our next meeting,” Mayor Shannon Thomason recently told the Big Spring Herald. (Read more from “Another Town Declares Itself a ‘Sanctuary for the Unborn'” HERE)

Navy Veteran Found Dead in His Apartment Three Years Later

A Navy veteran found deceased in his Texas apartment was thought by officials to have died up to three years ago, the last time anyone heard from him.

The remains of Ronald Wayne White, 54, were in the DeSoto Town Center apartment in the Dallas suburbs “for an extended period of time, up to when he was last known alive three years ago,” according to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office. White retired from the U.S. Navy as a chief petty officer in 2004 and had worked as a defense contractor since that time.

White’s absence was first noticed by his mother, Doris Stevens, 70, who said that even though her son traveled often, it was unusual for them to go months without speaking to one another. After she was unable to reach him on his birthday in April 2017, Stevens contacted the Dallas police and police in nearby Glenn Heights, where Wayne once owned a home, but claimed authorities would not permit her to file a missing person’s report for her son.

“They asked how old my son was, and I told them, and they said, ‘You can’t make a missing person report for a grown-up,'” Stevens said of her efforts. . .

Stevens, who lives in Shreveport, Louisiana and is dependent on a limited income, claims that she also tried to get family to help pool money to hire a private investigator but was not successful. A statement from the DeSoto Town Center said Wayne’s body went undiscovered for so long because he had set up his bills to be auto-paid, and a disruption in normal behavior was not detected. His remains were discovered by maintenance staff responding to an automated request for service. (Read more from “Navy Veteran Found Dead in His Apartment Three Years Later” HERE)

RECALL: Romaine Salad Linked to E. Coli Outbreak

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Wednesday that it expanded its salad recall. The move comes amid a multistate E. coli outbreak linked to romaine lettuce. . .

“This advice includes all types of romaine lettuce harvested from Salinas, California, such as whole heads of romaine, hearts of romaine and packages of precut lettuce and salad mixes which contain romaine, including baby romaine, spring mix and Caesar salad.”

While the recall includes products sold under many different brand names, the CDC said the infected items have “Use By” dates ranging from Oct. 29, 2019, to Nov. 1, 2019. And the products have establishment number “EST. 18502B” inside the U.S. Department of Agriculture mark of inspection. Worried shoppers can visit the USDA website for a full list.

A total of 40 people in 16 states have been infected from the contaminated lettuce, the CDC said. A total of 28 hospitalizations have been reported and five people have developed hemolytic uremic syndrome, a type of kidney failure. . .

This latest warning comes days after New Jersey-based produce market Missa Bay recalled more than 75,000 pounds of salad products possibly contaminated with E. coli, and another outbreak in Maryland pinged by the Maryland Department of Health. Adam Schiff Won Election by Campaigning AGAINST Impeachment

While Democratic California Rep. Adam Schiff today is the face of Democrats’ impeachment push, the 10-term congressman first won his seat by staking out a hard line against the impeachment of former President Bill Clinton.

Schiff defeated former Republican California Rep. James Rogan in 2000 by hammering Rogan’s role in the Clinton impeachment.

“Impeachment as a political issue has all but disappeared from America’s political radar in this election, with even Al Gore refusing to make the partisan death match of 1998 and 1999 a campaign issue in the year 2000. But here, in California’s 27th District, Rogan’s battle with Democratic state Sen. Adam Schiff seems the last bloody battle of the impeachment war,” Anthony York recounted in an October 2000 Salon article.

Schiff “used impeachment as a fundraising tool,” York noted in the article, which the Daily Caller News Foundation reviewed using research service LexisNexis.

“Schiff’s campaign literature hammers away on Rogan’s role in the impeachment proceedings,” The Washington Post noted in a May 2000 article. Schiff argued in one fundraising missive that “in the partisan impeachment hearings that polarized our nation for so long, the right-wing Rogan stood out,” The San Diego Tribune reported that same month in an article reviewed by the DCNF using Lexis. Counties Declare Second Amendment Sanctuaries Ahead of Dems’ Gun Control Push

As the prospect of new, draconian gun control continues to loom, the Second Amendment sanctuary movement continues to grow. Recently, ahead of the new Democratic legislature’s immanent takeover in Richmond next year, counties in the Commonwealth of Virginia have started declaring themselves sanctuaries for Americans’ right to keep and bear arms.

After the results of November’s off-year election flipped control of both chambers of the state legislature to Democrats, Governor Ralph Northam announced that his party was already “working on” a plan to attack citizens’ gun rights in the commonwealth. As of earlier this week, legislators had already started to pre-file gun control legislation for the upcoming session, including a ban on so-called “assault firearms.” The Virginian-Pilot outlines eight bills that Democrats are likely to pass when they take control.

But despite the election results, some of the commonwealth’s residents still care about keeping their Second Amendment rights intact. So far, Giles, Dinwiddie, Appomattox, Campbell, Carroll, Charlotte, Patrick, and Pittsylvania counties have declared themselves Second Amendment sanctuaries, with other county governments also considering doing the same.

“We have rights to bear arms. Point blank,” said Dinwiddie Supervisor William Chavis in a report at WWBT-TV. “And our county, we have a lot of hunters, lots of sportsmen that like to sport shoot.”

“Counties are saying, ‘Look, we are not going to enforce any unconstitutional gun laws in our jurisdiction,’” Virginia Citizens Defense League president Phil Van Cleave explained to WRC-TV. “A sheriff is a constitutional officer, however, he can take the lead of the county if he wishes and say, ‘We’re not enforcing any of this stuff.’ And some sheriffs are going to do that.”

The Second Amendment sanctuary movement has already made headlines out west after local officials in states including New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado, and Washington made it clear that they wouldn’t assist in the infringement of their citizens’ gun rights. It’s also been met with some pushback from national gun control groups.

Outside the Old Dominion, the movement is also coming to other states. Lake County, Florida, commissioners voted earlier this month to bar local law enforcement from enforcing federal gun restrictions. Florence County, Wisconsin, recently joined the sanctuary movement in opposition to a proposed “red flag” confiscation law in the state capital. Sullivan County, Tennessee, also made a sanctuary declaration recently to send a message to state legislators in Nashville. Pennsylvania Legislators Passed a Bill to Protect Unborn Babies with down Syndrome. Their Dem Governor Vetoed It

On Thursday, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf, a Democrat, vetoed legislation that sought to protect unborn children with Down syndrome from being aborted based on their medical diagnosis.

House Bill 321, or the Down Syndrome Protection Act, would have prohibited abortions based solely on the diagnosis of Down syndrome — a chromosomal disorder that causes physical and intellectual disabilities. It passed the out of the state’s House of Representatives back in March and cleared the Senate on Wednesday.

In a statement accompanying his veto, Wolf said that there was “no evidence that this bill is needed in Pennsylvania” and cited “significant concerns that enforcement of this legislation would upend the doctor-patient relationship and impede on patient confidentiality.”

“This legislation is a restriction on women and medical professionals and interferes with women’s health care and the crucial decision-making between patients and their physicians,” Wolf said.

Proponents of the legislation, however, said that Wolf’s veto shows him siding against children with Down syndrome and with eugenics through abortion.

“Shame on Governor Wolf for blocking this compassionate, popular bill. He has signed a death sentence for countless unborn babies targeted for abortion merely because they may have Down syndrome,” said Susan B. Anthony List president Marjorie Dannenfelser in a press release. “The Pennsylvania legislature’s bold action is part of growing nationwide momentum to put an end to lethal discrimination – but Governor Wolf is an abortion extremist who consistently obstructs the will of Pennsylvanians.”

“Governor Tom Wolf believes it’s just fine to kill babies in the womb solely because of a prenatal diagnosis of a disability,” said Michael Greer, president of the Pennsylvania Family Institute. “That is eugenics. That’s wrong.”

In a blog post, Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation education director Bonnie Finnerty took issue with the governor’s explanation for issuing the veto, writing, “This is not about health care. This is about judging someone’s life as not worth living.”

“This is about exterminating a group of people because they are different and perceived by some to be a burden,” Finnerty continues. “This is not health care. It’s elitism.”

Meanwhile, the constitutionality of state laws barring abortions based on disabilities is currently working its way through the federal courts. Ohio passed an abortion bill to protect children with Down syndrome in 2017, but it was recently struck down by a ruling from the Sixth Circuit.

Earlier this year, the Supreme Court declined to take up the case of an Indiana law that bars discriminatory abortions based on sex, race, or disability. The law was blocked by the Seventh Circuit. In an opinion concurring with the court’s denial, Justice Clarence Thomas noted that while the court may have decided to allow the issue to further ripen in the lower courts, it would eventually have to weigh in on the issue, warning, “Enshrining a constitutional right to an abortion based solely on the race, sex, or disability of an unborn child … would constitutionalize the views of the 20th-century eugenics movement.” (For more from the author of “Pennsylvania Legislators Passed a Bill to Protect Unborn Babies with down Syndrome.
