Saturday’s Media Declaration Is a Naked Attempt to Silence Republicans, and Nothing Has Changed

. . .For large swaths of the corporate media, the work to elect a Democratic president never ended. From before he even took office, attempts to delegitimize President Donald Trump’s administration employed tools ranging from innuendo to foreign disinformation, and from partisan conspiracies to laughably labeled “anonymous senior officials.” They did not stop Tuesday, holding calls on Republican wins like Florida for hours, and North Carolina for days, while recklessly rushing calls on states like Arizona for Team Blue.

Since Election Day itself, the irregularities have piled up. There were quick and continuing examples of Democratic Pennsylvanian cities illegally barring Republican poll watchers from watching polls from even as far as six feet away. There are multiple allegations of the long-dead voting in 2020. And on Friday, evidence was released that vote-counting software Dominion Voting Systems switched thousands of votes from Trump to former Vice President Joe Biden in just one county. While this software was rejected three times by the Texas election board for noticeable security vulnerabilities, it was used across Georgia and Michigan—two of the states subject to Republican lawsuits and, in Georgia, a recount.

None of this is proof the Democrats didn’t win the election, even if it strongly suggests illegal and undemocratic activity in states across the union. But it is a naked corporate attempt to exert control over what is happening in the United States. If just one thing, remember this: Corporations don’t get to pick our president—and they don’t decide our elections.

Donald Trump’s entire presidency is an affront to the media. His victory was an assertion that they are not in charge, we are. That’s why they hate him; that’s why they have to destroy him; and that’s what this power grab is about. It isn’t an election result, it is media elites reminding the people who is really in charge, and who gets to make the rules.

Nothing has changed since America went to bed Friday evening. There is a fight coming: After over a century of rule, the corruption of the big city Democratic machines will finally be examined in court. Every day, the media is going to call you crazy for demanding it. (Read more from “Saturday’s Media Declaration Is a Naked Attempt to Silence Republicans, and Nothing Has Changed” HERE)

Schumer: If Democrats Win the Senate Through Georgia Races, We Will ‘Change America’ (VIDEO)

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer waited only a few hours after several media outlets declared Joe Biden the winner of the presidential race before he declared the Democratic Party’s true intentions for the country should they reclaim the Senate. The control of the upper chamber of Congress will likely come down to two Georgia runoff races in January, since none of the candidates in either contest reached the 50 percent threshold to win.

“Now we take Georgia, then we change the world,” Schumer said, holding a black 2020 flag with a “no” symbol over a 45, denoting Donald Trump, the 45th president, and the words “Reclaiming my country.”

“Now we take Georgia, then we change America,” the New York Democrat said at what appeared to be a mass celebration in New York City.

Republican Women Made Historic Gains in the House

A close and undecided race for president was the focus on election night. Months of both parties claiming that their candidate would deliver a blowout victory met the reality of a sharply divided country and the extended time to count ballots due to the coronavirus pandemic. While most voters focused on the White House prize, the Republican Party quietly made historic gains in the House of Representatives.

The number of women who ran for Congress this year stood at 583, which represents a 20% uptick since 2016. Although the lion’s share of the record was set by Democratic women, more than 200 Republican women entered congressional races this year, nearly 75% more than ran in 2016, according to the Center for American Women and Politics (CAWP).”

As of Wednesday afternoon, the House GOP added 11 women to its ranks. Considering the number of Republican females in the House only numbered 13 before election day, the nearly 100% increase is remarkable. Unsurprisingly, such gains received little attention from the crowd obsessed with gender dynamics among elected officials. In voters’ minds, these newly elected women were the best option between them and their Democratic Party opponents not because of gender but despite it.

Of these winners, five flipped Democratic seats, and by doing so, they helped reduce the Pelosi-led majority in the lower chamber. In the Democratic stronghold of Miami-Dade County, Maria Elvira Salazar defeated well-known Democratic Rep. Donna Shalala in an upset victory. Shalala may have only been a freshman representative, but she had served as the secretary of health and human services for former President Bill Clinton for the entirety of his administration. In South Carolina, Nancy Mace, notable for being the first female graduate of the Citadel, broke another barrier. On Wednesday morning, she was declared the winner against Democratic incumbent Rep. Joe Cunningham. With her victory, she will be the first Republican woman to represent South Carolina in the House. (Read more from “Republican Women Made Historic Gains in the House” HERE)

Legislature in a Battleground State Calls an Emergency Session Over Voting Irregularities

The Michigan Legislature on Saturday held a joint hearing of the House and Senate Oversight Committees, a rare occurrence. The session was called after reports of potential fraud taking place in the presidential election. One of the main ones was a software glitch that caused 6,000 votes in Antrim County to be incorrectly counted for Joe Biden. Once the a hand-count had taken place, those 6,000 votes went to President Trump. The Michigan Secretary of State, however, has said that this was “human error,” not a “software glitch.” . . .

“Every single legal vote needs to be counted, regardless of who cast it or who they voted for. And then the candidate who wins the most of those votes will win Michigan’s electoral votes, just like it always has been. Nothing about that process will change in 2020,” Michigan House Speaker Lee Chatfield (R-Levering) said in a statement.

“America’s democracy is sacred, and safe and secure elections are how we protect it. That is why the House and Senate oversight committees will begin hearings soon looking into the voting and counting process in our state to give everyone confidence in the results and to make sure the next election runs much more smoothly,” Chatfield said. “The people of Michigan deserve peace of mind, and we are going to provide it.”

The legislature ended up slapping state election officials with a subpoena for documents related to the state’s election process, the Detroit Free Press reported. (Read more from “Legislature in a Battleground State Calls an Emergency Session Over Voting Irregularities” HERE)

WATCH: Dems Distance Themselves From ‘Defund the Police’ Movement, Socialism

After unexpected and significant losses on Election Day, House Democrats on Sunday distanced themselves from the “defund the police” movement and the label of “socialism,” claiming that they were merely slogans or Republican smears.

“Not a single member of Congress that I’m aware of campaigned on socialism or defunding the police in this general election,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) said on CNN’s State of the Union. “These were largely slogans or they were demands from activist groups.” The congresswoman, who is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, added that “Republicans levied very effective rhetorical attacks against our party” by linking Democrats to the movements.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.), who called to “completely dismantle” her city’s police department this year, went further and said it was a Republican “narrative” that radical movements doomed Democrats in swing districts.

“All of those members who are part of the progressive caucus who are also in those swing districts won their races or are on track to win their races,” Omar told CNN. “This myth that the Republicans are using to develop a narrative to start to create a wedge between Democrats is really something we can’t allow to stick and that narrative to get hold.”

Former Democrat, Mocked for Switching Parties, Wins as Republican in New Jersey

Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R., N.J.), a former Democrat, switched parties in January 2020 after opposing his party’s effort to impeach President Donald Trump. He was widely mocked and derided by his former colleagues and other liberals at the time, and most experts predicted he would lose reelection in 2020. Van Drew won by 5 percentage points, defeating a member of the disgraced Kennedy dynasty.

“This is an awful thing to do,” said Rep. Bill Pascrell (D., N.J.) of Van Drew’s decision to switch parties in 2019. “You make a commitment. That doesn’t mean you’ve got to vote every way that the majority or the leadership asks you to vote. Certainly, it means you owe something to the organization who put you where you are.”

Pascrell also insinuated that Van Drew’s betrayal warranted a violent response. “Do you know how we would have handled this back in Paterson?” the congressman said, referring to his hometown. He added that Van Drew would no longer be welcome to set foot on the Democratic side of the House chamber. . .

Most professional pundits thought Van Drew would lose, primarily because most of them bought into the narrative of a “blue wave” election. “Van Drew’s defection to GOP haunts him in tight race,” read the headline of a Politico report published last week. The polls showed him trailing Democratic challenger Amy Kennedy, the wife of Patrick Kennedy, the former congressman and son of the late sexual predator Ted Kennedy. . .

But Republicans got the last laugh. Van Drew prevailed, and the GOP is on track to gain at least six seats in the House in what is shaping up to be an embarrassing failure of an election for Democrats not named Joe Biden. Investigators Dispatched After County Discovers ‘Issue’ With Ballot Reporting; Judiciary Committee Will Probe ‘All Credible Allegations of Voting Irregularities’

By Breitbart. Georgia’s top election official is dispatching a team of investigators after a ballot “issue” was discovered in one of the county’s most responsible for giving former Vice President Joe Biden the lead over President Trump.

While Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) did not reveal the nature of the issue with the ballots, he did announce late Saturday that investigators were headed to State Farm Arena in Fulton County to “secure the vote and protect all legal votes.”

“Fulton County has discovered an issue involving reporting from their work on Friday. Officials are at State Farm Arena to rescan their work from Friday,” Raffensperger said. “The Secretary of State has a monitor onsite, has sent additional investigators, and dispatched the Deputy Secretary of State as well to oversee the process to make sure to thoroughly secure the vote and protect all legal votes. Observers from both political parties are there as well.”

Brendan Keefe, chief investigator at Atlanta’s WXIA, says that the issue “*may* significantly affect the current Biden lead in Georgia.” (Read more from “Investigators Dispatched After County Discovers ‘Issue’ With Ballot Reporting” HERE)

Graham Says Judiciary Committee Will Probe ‘All Credible Allegations of Voting Irregularities’

By Fox News. Sen. Lindsey Graham announced Saturday that the Senate Judiciary Committee would investigate possible voting irregularities after receiving an affidavit from a Pennsylvania postal worker alleging a plot to backdate ballots mailed after Election Day.

“It is imperative that all credible allegations of voting irregularities and misconduct be investigated to ensure the integrity of the 2020 elections,” Graham, a South Carolina Republican and the chairman of the Judiciary Committee, said in a statement. “I will not allow credible allegations of voting irregularities or misconduct to be swept under the rug.” (Read more from “Graham Says Judiciary Committee Will Probe ‘All Credible Allegations of Voting Irregularities’” HERE)

Pennsylvania Officials Must Separate Ballots That Arrived After Election Day

By USA Today. . .Pennsylvania officials said in a memo Saturday that ballots received after Election Day were being segregated and tallied separately, in response to a Republican injunction filed this week that alleged the ballots were not being segregated in all counties.

The Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, on behalf of Democratic Secretary of the Commonwealth Kathy Boockvar, said in the memo that the secretary’s guidance to counties to segregate ballots was “unambiguous.”

“There is no evidence that any county is disobeying that clear guidance to segregate these votes, and the Republican Party offers only speculation that certain unidentified counties may ignore that repeated guidance or that the Secretary will inconsistently change course,” the memo said. Biden Plans to Reverse Trump Policies Day One

Former Vice President Joe Biden is preparing a bevy of executive orders to issue on his first day in the White House that will reverse some of the key policies of the Trump administration.

Biden, whom the Associated Press declared president-elect on Saturday, has already tasked his transition team with focusing on how to leverage the “executive power” of the Oval Office, according to the Washington Post.

Some of the orders that Biden plans to issue deal with hot button topics like immigration and national security. According to the Post, Biden plans to reverse the Trump administration’s decision to impose tight travel restrictions for individuals attempting to travel to the United States from countries like Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen. Biden is also planning to issue orders to reinstitute protections for illegal immigrants in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and prioritize family reunification.

Upon taking office, Biden also plans to rejoin the Paris Climate Accord and restore U.S. support for the World Health Organization (W.H.O.). Trump withdrew the U.S. from the former and terminated its support for the W.H.O. (Read more from “Biden Plans to Reverse Trump Policies Day One” HERE)

Donald Trump Vows To Fight After Media Declares Biden ‘Win’; SCOTUS Orders Pennsylvania to Separate Ballots Arriving After Election Day; Biden’s Lead in Georgia Expands

By Breitbart. President Donald Trump vowed Friday to continue fighting for an accurate election count of the presidential election, as former Vice President Joe Biden prepares to declare victory.

“We believe the American people deserve to have full transparency into all vote counting and election certification, and that this is no longer about any single election,” Trump wrote in a statement released by his re-election campaign. “This is about the integrity of our entire election process.”

Trump issued his statement after the Biden campaign announced preparations for a prime time speech from Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) and Biden on Friday evening. The speech is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.

Biden began tallying leads in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Nevada, and Arizona — states that Trump needs to win in order to get re-elected. . .

“This election is not over,” Trump 2020 campaign general counsel Matt Morgan said in a statement. “The false projection of Joe Biden as the winner is based on results in four states that are far from final.” (Read more from “Donald Trump Vows To Fight After Media Declares Biden ‘Win'” HERE)

Biden’s Lead in Georgia Expands From 1,500 to 4,263 – So Will There Still Have to Be a Recount?

By Daily Mail. Joe Biden’s lead in Georgia suddenly expanded on Friday from 1,500 to 4,263 after officials said the race was so close that a recount there would be inevitable.

Biden now leads in Georgia 49.4% to Trump’s 49.3%. Georgia holds 16 electoral college votes. If Biden were to win it, he would only need to hold his lead in one of the other three states still at play; Arizona, Nevada or Pennsylvania.

A candidate can request a recount in Georgia if the margin is less than 0.5%. Right now, it is well within that at 0.1%. It is unclear now how many more votes there are to count in Georgia. SCOTUS Orders Pennsylvania to Separate Ballots Arriving After Election Day

By Townhall. A few hours after the Trump campaign filed an emergency appeal with the U.S. Supreme Court over late-arriving ballots in Pennsylvania, the Supreme Court ordered Pennsylvania election officials to separate ballots arriving after 8 p.m. on Election Day and to count the late ballots separately.

The Trump campaign filed an emergency appeal on Friday asking the court to make sure Pennsylvania’s 67 county boards are separating late-arriving ballots as ordered by Pennsylvania’s Secretary of State. Social Media Giants Substantially Increase Censorship of Pro-Trump Postings

Twitter Censors 6 Trump Posts in 24 Hours

By Breitbart. Twitter has actively censored six of President Donald Trump’s posts over the 24 hours between Thursday midmorning and Friday. Twitter’s censorship can lower the engagement of a Trump tweet by more than 80 percent, according to one recent analysis of their performance.

Over the past 24 hours, social media platform Twitter has censored six of the President’s latest posts, and will likely censor more as the President raises doubts over voter fraud. Just yesterday Breitbart News reported that of President Trump’s 22 posts on Facebook and Twitter, 11 were censored by the Silicon Valley Masters of the Universe. Now, Jack Dorsey’s company has censored a further six tweets by the President, dramatically lowering their engagement.

Forbes reports that Facebook has announced that it plans to demote content “our systems predict may be misinformation” relating to election fraud. A Facebook spokesperson told Forbes that the social media company is “seeing more reports of inaccurate claims about the election” and “while many of these claims have low engagement on our platform, we are taking additional temporary steps.”

The spokesperson told Forbes that Facebook would be taking a number of actions including “demotions for content on Facebook and Instagram that our systems predict may be misinformation, including debunked claims about voting” and “limiting the distribution of Live videos that may relate to the election on Facebook.” (Read more from “Facebook Censorship: Platform Will ‘Temporarily Demote’ Posts That Share ‘Election Misinformation’” HERE)

Via the Hill:

The Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and the watchdog group Common Cause issued a joint request Thursday for Twitter to temporarily suspend President Trump’s account over the spread of disinformation about the election.
