Going Soft on Drugs and Crime Has Turned Seattle Into Another American Wasteland

“Seattle no longer feels the need to stop anyone from doing anything for any reason, at any time. The most stunning city in America is dying, all right.”

So begins “The Fight for the Soul of Seattle,” a 90-minute documentary produced by KOMO News, which for years has reported on Seattle’s pervasive drug problems and associated perils. The local news station, which premiered the feature last weekend, produced a similarly themed broadcast entitled “Seattle is Dying” last year that received more than 10 million views and several regional film awards. . .

Perhaps the most significant demonstration of Seattle’s stark divide was in the city’s response to the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, also known as CHAZ or CHOP, a six-block stretch that was overtaken and declared independent by local activists amid this summer’s Black Lives Matter protests. In a move that garnered national attention, the City of Seattle instructed police to cede control of the area, which included a police precinct as well as homes, businesses, and citizens suddenly left to fend for themselves.

City officials outwardly touted the zone as a quaint block party where people sang around bonfires and distributed free kebabs. Mayor Jenny Durkan suggested CHAZ would bring about a “summer of love,” and city councilmembers cheered with celebratory selfies. . .

How did Seattle get here? Look no further than the City Council, which has aided and abetted this rising criminality by crippling the Seattle Police Department. “The institution of policing itself must be dismantled,” Councilmember Teresa Mosqueda said during one meeting earlier this year. New COVID Study Reveals When Wearing a Mask Is Actually a Bad Idea

Wearing a used mask could be more dangerous than not wearing one at all when it comes to warding off COVID-19, a new study has found.

A new three-layer surgical mask is 65 percent efficient in filtering particles in the air — but when used, that number drops to 25 percent, according to the study published Tuesday in the Physics of Fluids.

Researchers from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and California Baptist University say that masks slow down airflow, making people more susceptible to breathing in particles — and a dirty face mask can’t effectively filter out the tiniest of droplets.

“It is natural to think that wearing a mask, no matter new or old, should always be better than nothing,” said author Jinxiang Xi.

Instagram Censors Post for Linking Joe Biden’s 1994 Law to Mass Incarceration

Facebook-owned Instagram on Wednesday censored as “false” a user’s claim that President-elect Joe Biden’s 1994 crime law contributed to the mass jailing of black people.

That claim is vehemently supported by both left-wing and conservative criminal justice reform advocates, and by lawyers for people with long prison sentences.

Artist Brad Troemel, who has more than 100,000 Instagram followers, posted a photo of Biden and then-President Bill Clinton, writing: “Find someone that looks at you the way Biden looked at Clinton after Clinton signed Biden’s crime bill into law. Bringing mass incarceration to black Americans.”

The post was quickly censored with an interstitial warning saying it is “False Information.”

A message explaining the censorship says, “Independent fact-checkers say this information has no basis in fact.” Users are told the claim was rated “False” by a USA Today reporter, Doug Stanglin, in July. Mike Pence Will Publicly Receive COVID-19 Vaccine

Vice President Mike Pence and Second Lady Karen Pence will receive the Wuhan coronavirus vaccine publicly on Friday, the White House announced late Wednesday evening.

The goal of the televised event is “to promote the safety and efficacy of the vaccine and build confidence among the American people,” the White House announcement stated. Pence is the chair of the White House Coronavirus Task Force and the highest-ranking member of the White House to receive the vaccine.

The Nightmare Scenario for Democrats Still Exists Within the Electoral College

. . .We elect our president through the Electoral College. I know you fine folks know this; liberals don’t get it. They love talking about the popular vote totals. Those don’t matter. Yes, Joe Biden received more than 7 million more popular votes. And yet, all Trump needed was 65,009 votes to win re-election. Why? It’s the Electoral College math, you idiots. In 2016, Hillary Clinton needed 77,744 votes to win the presidency. The Cook Political Report’s David Wasserman broke down the numbers. It never ceases to amaze me how liberals zero-in on the stuff that doesn’t matter. But wait, if this thing came down to a 269-269 tie, Trump would win given that the GOP has the majority of state congressional delegations. And the president only needed 42,918 votes for that scenario to become a reality.

. . . If these are the margins, then Trump should definitely run again—and focus on winning back the voters who left him. As you can see from the Electoral College math, it’s not that many. It’s doable. And President Trump has already made it known that a 2024 run is in the cards.

Deep State Pushes to Deep-Six Intelligence Report Demonstrating Chinese Interference in 2020 Election

Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe is considering not signing an intelligence report to Congress if it does not accurately reflect an ongoing debate among intelligence community career analysts over Chinese attempts to influence American voters in the 2020 election, according to a source familiar with the issue.

The intelligence report on foreign efforts to influence the 2020 election is due to Congress on Friday, but Ratcliffe is concerned it will not accurately reflect the debate among senior intelligence community analysts as to the extent of China’s influence operations during the election, according to the source.

There is allegedly “ample” raw intelligence about China’s intentions and actions related to the election, with more intelligence reporting coming in everyday. Some of the influence operations include social media campaigns seeking to amplify messages such as that President Donald Trump is a white supremacist.

However, senior career analysts disagree on the significance of those influence operations. Some analysts argue that they were minimal or ultimately not acted on, while others say it is extensive and far more than previously known. The disagreement includes whether there should be a China section in the report, according to the source.

Despite this serious debate, Ratcliffe is concerned that proper tradecraft — which would require that the disagreement be reflected in the report with both views represented — will not be followed simply in order to deprive President Trump of a potential political talking point. Disturbing Billboards in U.S. Boast Satanic Temple’s ‘Religious Abortion Ritual’

Abortion industry giant Planned Parenthood has been working with the Satanic Temple to fight state abortion restrictions. . .

According to a press release, one of the TST billboards says, “Pregnancy complications are the sixth most common cause of death among women ages 20 to 34. Abortions save lives!”

In the second billboard, a woman tells her friend she does not have to undergo the waiting period for her abortion because she is a satanist.

Both billboards state, “Our abortion ritual averts many state restrictions.”

“We want our members to know that performing our religious abortion ritual means they do not have to fulfill regulations that require them to violate their religious beliefs when they have decided to terminate their pregnancy,” said Sydney Goodwin, TST’s religious reproductive rights spokesperson. Experts Agree: Investigate Election Fraud or ‘We Will No Longer Have a Viable Republic’

Two experts in international issues contend election fraud in the United States must be fully investigated, or “we will no longer have a viable republic.”

Leni Friedman Valenta and Jiri Valenta of the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies wrote in an article published by the Gatestone Institute that for much of the nation, “the attempted coups have now been sanctified and made to seem legitimate by the election — that many feel was ‘stolen’ — of former Vice-President Biden.”

“One can surely understand how Republicans feel now that the top-ranking conspirators involved the attempted coups have captured the government through their figurehead, former Vice-President Biden,” they wrote.

“Clearly, voter fraud must be investigated. … If elections continue the same way — by legitimizing practices that sidestep constitutional and states’ laws — as they threaten to do in two run-off elections in Georgia on January 5, we will no longer have a viable republic. The two upcoming elections in Georgia to determine control of the Senate may end up being the last firewall of a workable, multi-party nation.”

GOP Senator: Presidential Election Was Stolen

In a Senate hearing Wednesday that erupted into a heated exchange between the chairman and the ranking member, Republican Sen. Rand Paul charged the 2020 election was “stolen,” arguing courts never addressed the evidence.

“The courts haven’t decided the facts. They never looked at the facts,” the Kentucky senator said.

“The fraud happened. The election in many ways was stolen and the only way it will be fixed is by in the future reinforcing the laws,” he said.

Paul’s remarks came after former independent counsel Ken Starr affirmed that some 60 court cases brought by the Trump campaign and its allies were rejected primarily for procedural reasons as opposed to their merits.

“I think it’s important that we look at this and understand what courts are saying and not saying,” Paul said. “The courts have not said there wasn’t fraud. The courts simply didn’t rule on or hear [about] the fraud.” (Read more from “GOP Senator: Presidential Election Was Stolen” HERE)

Man Charged With Conspiring to Hijack Aircraft for Brand-New 9/11 Terror

A federal indictment accuses a Kenyan national of getting pilot training and researching how to conduct a 9/11-type of attack on the United States at the direction of the Muslim terrorist group al-Shabaab.

The plot was halted when the Kenyan, Cholo Abdi Abdullah, was arrested, the Department of Justice said.

He was charged with six counts of terrorism-related offenses, including conspiring to hijack an aircraft to conduct a 9/11-style attack.

Abdullah was arrested in July 2019 in the Philippines on local charges. He moved into the custody of U.S. law enforcement just this month for prosecution, the DOJ said Wednesday.
