House, Senate Bills Prioritize Foreign Nationals as 24.5M Americans Remain Jobless, Underemployed

As roughly 24.5 million Americans remain jobless or underemployed, Republican and Democrat lawmakers in Washington, D.C. are advancing legislation to aid foreign nationals and their quest to permanently resettle in the United States.

With a mass unemployment crisis ongoing — where 10.7 million Americans are unemployed, 7.1 million are out of the labor force, and 6.7 million are underemployed — bipartisan political consensus to aid foreign nationals primarily from India and Hong Kong has taken priority. . .

NumbersUSA, which fights for less immigration to boost U.S. wages and open jobs for Americans, has come out against the giveaway:

Under the provisions of this bill, Congress would hand the keys to our immigration system over to employers seeking cheap labor. Statutory numerical limits on employment-based green cards would be nullified. The number of aliens indentured to U.S. employers would skyrocket. American workers would be the clear losers, not just in the tech industry, but virtually across the board, since early filing isn’t limited to H-1Bs.

The only winners in this legislation are big business, as Congress breaks the immigration system specifically to quench their thirst for cheap labor. At a time of massive unemployment and economic uncertainty, Congress should be focused on immigration policies that promote the jobs of Americans not the whims of industries that are already profiting mightily from the pandemic.

Dr. Fauci Skips Donald Trump Coronavirus Vaccine Event, Attends Biden Press Event

Dr. Anthony Fauci skipped President Donald Trump’s event celebrating the development of a coronavirus vaccine on Tuesday.

A Trump administration official told Breitbart News on Monday that Fauci wanted to attend the event but would not do so due to a “scheduling conflict.”

The long-term director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases revealed Tuesday afternoon that he instead attended an event celebrating his colleague Dr. Harvey Alter getting the Nobel Prize of Medicine.

Several public health officials did attend Trump’s event at the White House, including White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator Ambassador Deborah Birx, M.D., Director of the Centers for Disease Control Dr. Robert Redfield, Chief Advisor of Operation Warp Speed Dr. Moncef Slaoui, and Director of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research Dr. Peter Marks.

Fauci made a point, however, of sending a pre-recorded video to a press event with former Vice President Joe Biden instead, thanking him for appointing him as an advisor on fighting the coronavirus pandemic. Trump Legal Team Insists Their Deadline Is Jan. 6

Amid warnings that Tuesday marked the first “safe harbor deadline” for resolving legal challenges to the election, the Trump campaign legal team issued a statement arguing election contests historically have lasted well beyond the Dec. 8 and Dec. 14 statutory dates.

Dec. 8 is the deadline for states to certify election results before the Dec. 14 Electoral College vote.

But attorneys Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis cited the late Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s recognition in Bush v. Gore that the date of “ultimate significance” is Jan. 6.

That’s when Congress counts and certifies the votes of the Electoral College. The only fixed day in the U.S. Constitution, the legal team points out, is the inauguration of the president on Jan. 20 at noon.

Nancy Pelosi Let Millions Suffer To Win An Election

By The Federalist. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has cackled the quiet part out loud. In a statement Friday, she announced that all of a sudden, after months and months of American people and small businesses begging for relief, that she will now compromise on a $908 billion stimulus package.

Why the sudden change of heart? Because Joe Biden is the proclaimed winner of the presidential race. What is as plain as the couture mask on Nancy’s face is that she let millions suffer for one reason and one reason only, to help Joe Biden win the election. . .

Pelosi had two paths before the election, to accept the $1.8 trillion-package President Trump offered as a compromise (which last I checked was actually bigger than $908 billion) and see what happened in the election to seek more, or to stiff the American people while she got her hair done without a mask and ate expensive ice cream. She chose the latter in a cynical effort to hurt Donald Trump.

Pelosi and her sycophants will say that they had no guarantee that Trump, if reelected, would follow through with more stimulus in the new year. Even if that is true, and there is not much reason to believe it is, so what? In what universe is nothing with a chance of more later better than something with a chance of more later? It makes absolutely no sense.

Pelosi isn’t even arguing that she was delaying as a tactic to move Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to her position before the election. Pelosi Willing To Accept Smaller Relief Bill: It’s ‘Okay Now Because We Have a New President’

By Daily Wire. Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on Friday that she would work with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to pass a smaller coronavirus relief package which she deemed was now okay “because we have a new president.”

“What shifted in your opinion when the Problem Solvers Caucus had a much larger bill a few months ago?” a reporter asked Pelosi. “You did not like that piece of legislation. What has shifted now when they’re on board with this piece that’s come out in the Senate?”

“Perhaps you missed what I said earlier. Joe Biden committed to ending and crushing the virus and had a build better America initiative, build back better,” Pelosi snapped back. “A vaccine, answer to our prayers. An answer to our prayers of 95% effectiveness in terms of Pfizer and Moderna and there maybe others coming forward. That is a total game changer, a new president and a vaccine.”

“This has simplicity. It’s what we’ve had in our bills,” she claimed. “It’s for a shorter period of time, but that’s okay now, because we have a new president. A president who recognizes that we need to depend on science to stop the virus. Alarm bells regarding the presidential election are now sounding in Georgia, where a U.S. congressman says a forensic test of Dominion Voting Systems machines revealed votes for President Donald Trump were being switched to votes for Democrat Joe Biden, although the claim is denied by some election officials. . .

No, the Georgia Vote-Counting Video Was Not ‘Debunked.’ Not Even Close

By The Federalist. A Big Tech-backed “fact” “checking” outfit claimed to debunk explosive evidence in support of Republicans’ claims of significant election problems at a Thursday Georgia Senate hearing. It didn’t. Not even close.

Newly discovered security footage from Georgia’s State Farm Arena showed dozens of ballot counters, media, and Republican observers leaving en masse at the same time from the ballot-counting area for Fulton County. After they left, a small remnant of about four workers began pulling trunks containing thousands of ballots from underneath a table with a long tablecloth and running them through machines.

The footage supported claims from Republicans that they were told counting had stopped for the night, only to find out hours later that it had kept going on. You can and should watch the 12-minute portion of the testimony from Jacki Pick here.

On Friday morning, a group called Lead Stories published a “hoax alert” falsely claiming to have debunked the security video. The Washington Post, Newsweek, and other outlets followed along, criticizing non-leftist journalists for giving the video traction. In fact, none of the claims made by the Republicans were debunked. . .

Leaving aside whether relying solely and uncritically on government officials’ claims constitutes anything close to a “fact” “check,” let’s look at the claim that party observers were never told that counting was over for the night. In Lead Stories’ regurgitation of the government officials’ claims, only the people who cut open the absentee ballot envelopes were sent home, while ballot counters and scanners were retained and kept working — and no one told the press or other observers they were done counting. Visa, Mastercard Reviewing Relationship With Pornhub Following Column Alleging the Site Is ‘Infested With Rape Videos’

Major credit card companies are reviewing their relationship with Pornhub following the publication of a New York Times column alleging that Pornhub is “infested with rape videos.”

“We are aware of the allegations, and we are actively engaging with the relevant financial institutions to investigate, in addition to engaging directly with the site’s parent company, MindGeek,” Visa told the Associated Press Sunday, noting that Pornhub will be prohibited from accepting any Visa payments if the massive pornography company is found to be violating the law.

Mastercard also promised to take “immediate action” if Pulitzer prize winning opinion columnist Nicholas Kristof‘s allegations are true, telling the AP: “We are investigating the allegations raised in the New York Times and are working with MindGeek’s bank to understand this situation.”

Kristof accused Pornhub of monteizing “child rapes, revenge pornography, spy cam videos of women showering, racist and misogynist content, and footage of women being asphyxiated in plastic bags,” in a Friday New York Times op-ed. . .

Autopsy Report Reveals Grisly Details in Camping Trip Death of Fort Bragg Paratrooper

A Fort Bragg paratrooper who went missing on a camping trip with fellow soldiers in May was decapitated, according to the findings of a recently released autopsy report.

Spc. Enrique Roman-Martinez, 21, from Chino, California, was a human resource specialist in the 82nd Airborne Division stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, when he disappeared during a Memorial Day weekend camping trip with friends at Cape Lookout National Seashore, CBS News reported. His partial remains washed ashore one week later, and his death was ruled a homicide.

The autopsy report, signed Nov. 4 from the Division of Forensic Pathology at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, indicates that Roman-Martinez was murdered. But examiners were not able to determine the exact cause, because the young man had been decapitated and his head was the only remains recovered.

“While decapitation is, in and of itself, universally fatal, the remainder of the body in this case was not available for examination, and therefore potential causes of death involving the torso and extremities cannot be excluded,” the report states. But it also pointed to other grisly details, such as “evidence of multiple chop injuries of the head,” and a broken jaw in at least two places. . .

[His sister] Griselda told the Army Times that when her brother disappeared, he left behind his cellphone, wallet, and “the glasses he desperately needed.” According to Griselda, there were roughly seven other soldiers on the camping trip with Roman-Martinez, but none of their names have been disclosed to the family. Cops Raid Home of Fired Data Analyst Who Toyed With COVID Numbers, May Have Hacked Emergency Alert System (VIDEO)

Florida state police raided the home of a former data analyst for the Florida Department of Health on Friday, who claims Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) “sent the gestapo” to get her to “shut up.”

Rebekah Jones was fired from her position in the DeSantis administration in May for allegedly modifying the state’s COVID-19 dashboard unilaterally without authorization. She claims the state was misleading citizens on the coronavirus numbers, and now she runs her own COVID-19 tracking sites from her house. . .

Jones tweeted Friday that state police served a warrant at her home that morning and seized property, claiming that officers “pointed a gun in [her] face” and “pointed guns at [her] kids.”

She posted accompanying video showing the purported scene from inside her home as police entered. Armed officers can be seen walking through the hallway, and pointing their firearms upward as they called for Jones’ husband to come down the stairs. Neither Jones’ husband nor the couples’ children are seen in the footage.

Survey Finds As American Psyche Reaches New Low, Frequent Churchgoers Fare Better Than The Rest

American mental health ratings reached their lowest point in two decades this year. Only 34 percent of U.S. adults assess their emotional well-being as “excellent” compared to 43 percent who reported the same in 2019.

The nine-point drop comes as the American self-assessment survey conducted by Gallup showed ratings relatively stable since the polling group launched its November Health and Healthcare series in 2001.

According to Gallup, drops in mental health ratings were most prominent among Republicans, where 41 percent reported being in “excellent” condition in the Nov. 5-19 poll, a 15-point drop from 56 percent who said the same a year ago. Republicans however, still held a higher-rate of mental well-being than Democrats, 29 percent of whom rated their mental health as “excellent.”

Those with the greatest ratings of mental well-being were attendants of weekly religious services, who were the only sub-group to report a rise in their mental health from 42 percent to 46 percent reporting their psyche of being in excellent shape.

The Gallup poll surveying 1,018 Americans over the age of 18 corroborates research suggesting that a higher importance of religious spirituality in one’s life can abate the symptoms of mental distress exacerbated by isolation and uncertainty imposed pandemic lockdowns. Police Reports Shed Light on Dem Senate Candidate’s Arrest for Obstruction: ‘Extremely Uncooperative and Disruptive’ (VIDEO)

Georgia Democratic Senate candidate Raphael Warnock repeatedly disrupted a 2002 police investigation into child abuse at a church-affiliated summer camp, interfering with interviews and discouraging counselors from speaking with investigators, according to two Maryland State Police reports obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

The records indicate that Warnock, who was at the time senior pastor of the church that operated the camp, insisted that the camp’s attorneys be present. While police said the counselors themselves were free to request an attorney, Warnock could not do so on their behalf.

Warnock went on to disrupt the interviews on July 31, 2002: “This investigator informed [camp administrators] that if the counselors requested that an attorney be present that was their right, however, no one else could [invoke] their rights to an attorney on their behalf,” the report reads.

While the names in the documents are blacked out, the reports track closely with contemporaneous newspaper articles about the incident, which led to Warnock’s arrest. The charges were ultimately dropped by the state attorney. The Baltimore Sun reported on Aug. 3, 2002, that Warnock and a colleague were “accused in court documents of trying to prevent a state trooper of interviewing counselors at Camp Farthest Out” and that the ministers “interrupted a police interview of a counselor.” Warnock told the paper that he was “only asserting that lawyers should be present when the camp counselors were interviewed.”
