California Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom is hiding key coronavirus data from the public while inexplicably allowing several counties in the state to reopen.

Following a surge in November, Newsom unveiled new lockdown orders that divided the state into five regions, with each region locking down whenever ICU hospital capacity dipped below 15 percent. Before long, about 98 percent of the state’s population fell under the new restrictions.

Despite ICU capacity still south of 15 percent, the governor has lifted restrictions for 13 counties in the Greater Sacramento area, the AP reported. State data updated daily shows the Sacramento region currently has an ICU capacity of around 7.8 percent at the time of this writing.

In those 13 counties, restaurants are once again allowed to offer outdoor dining, worshipers can attend church services, hair salons and other businesses are allowed to make money and retailers can operate at a higher capacity. Lucky them.

When asked about the underlying data used to justify the reopening of those counties, state health officials cited “projections” purportedly showing ICU capacity in those counties rising above the 15-percent threshold in coming weeks. Now WHO Admits ‘Gold Standard’ COVID Test Is Unreliable

By WND. The World Health Organization has officially acknowledged that the “gold standard” test used to diagnose COVID-19 has a high rate of false-positives that make it unreliable. . .

“Where test results do not correspond with the clinical presentation, a new specimen should be taken,” the guidance says.

The WHO warns that most PCR tests “are indicated as an aid for diagnosis,” meaning health care providers should consider at least seven other factors to confirm any test.

This State Just Sued the Biden Administration

Just two days after President Joe Biden took office, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) announced Friday that he’s suing the Biden administration over its plan to freeze most deportations for the next 100 days, an early signal that some conservative state officials plan on fighting in courtrooms to halt Biden’s agenda.

Paxton’s lawsuit aims to reverse a 100-day deportation moratorium imposed by Biden starting Friday, which pauses removals for most immigrants who entered the United States before November and aren’t deemed national security threats.

Paxton claims the deportation freeze runs afoul of federal law and violates a contract DHS signed with Texas in the final weeks of former President Donald Trump’s term, in which the federal government promised to give the state written warning and 180 days to weigh in before enacting any major changes to immigration policy. ‘WE ARE UNGOVERNABLE’: Antifa in Seattle and Portland Smash Property, Oppose Biden, Police

Far-left activists vandalized buildings and clashed with police in the Pacific Northwest on Jan. 20, voicing their opposition to the government, law enforcement, and the freshly sworn-in President Joe Biden, with some carrying signs reading, “We are ungovernable.”

In Portland, black-clad activists with their faces covered broke windows and the glass door at the Democratic Party of Oregon business office, spray-painting an anarchist symbol over the party sign, video posted on social media showed. Some of them tipped over garbage containers and lit the contents on fire, according to reports.

“We don’t want Biden. We want revenge for police murders, imperialist wars, and fascist massacres,” read a banner they marched under, while others carried a banner saying, “We are not governable,” which was dotted with anarchy symbols.

Beverly Hills Doctor Who Pushed Trump’s COVID Treatment Arrested in Capitol Riots

A Beverly Hills doctor who’s publicly criticized the coronavirus vaccine and advocated for hydroxychloroquine as a treatment against the deadly virus has been arrested in connection with the Capitol riots.

Dr. Simone Gold, 55, was among three Los Angeles residents who were arrested on Monday in connection with the insurrection. Gina Bisignano, the 52-year-old owner of Gina’s Eyelashes and Skincare, and 37-year-old John Strand are also facing charges.

Gold garnered national attention in July when she organized a press conference on the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court to condemn pandemic lockdowns and rave about how “hydroxychloroquine works” as a treatment for COVID-19. Former Head of Vatican Bank Found Guilty of Embezzlement

A former head of the Vatican bank, Angelo Caloia, has been found guilty of embezzlement and money laundering and sentenced to eight years and 11 months in prison, making him the highest-ranking Vatican official to be convicted of a financial crime.

The Vatican court on Thursday also convicted Gabriele Liuzzo, 97, and his son Lamberto Liuzzo, 55, both Italian lawyers who were consultants to the bank.

Caloia led the bank, officially known as the Institute for the Works of Religion (IOR), from 1989 to 2009. The 81-year-old Italian was tried over corrupt real estate deals.

China’s Gift for the Biden Inauguration Is a Conspiracy Theory About COVID-19’s U.S. Origins

A conspiracy theory that links the origins of Covid-19 to a US military lab is trending on Chinese social media on Wednesday (Jan. 20), after a spokesperson from the country’s foreign ministry redirected the public’s focus to the lab this week.

The fresh attention being drawn by a Chinese official to the theory just ahead of the inauguration of Joe Biden today (Jan. 20) as president, could indicate that the new administration will face an uphill battle when it comes to US-China relationship, and a continuation of the blame game between the two countries over the pandemic.

Hua Chunying, a spokesperson for China’s foreign ministry, said on Monday (Jan. 18) at a press conference that the US should open Fort Detrick, a military medical research base in Maryland, for further investigation as a possible origin of Covid-19. “I’d like to stress that if the United States truly respects facts, it should open the biological lab at Fort Detrick, give more transparency to issues like its 200-plus overseas bio-labs, invite WHO [the World Health Organization] experts to conduct origin-tracing in the United States, and respond to the concerns from the international community with real actions,” she said. ‘They Are Not Nancy Pelosi’s Servants.’ Governor Orders National Guard Home

Gov. Ron DeSantis has ordered more than 600 Florida National Guard soldiers to return home from Washington following reports that troops were “banished” from U.S. Capitol buildings to a parking garage.

DeSantis blasted the treatment of soldiers in the nation’s capital during an appearance Friday morning on “Fox & Friends.”

DeSantis called the assignment a “half-cocked mission at this point” and took aim at Democratic U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

“They are soldiers,” DeSantis said “They are not Nancy Pelosi’s servants.”

About 26,000 National Guard soldiers were stationed in Washington following the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol. Even before the controversy, 15,000 troops assigned to the capital were set to return home within 10 days, according to the National Guard Bureau. ‘Catholic’ Biden Marks Roe V. Wade Anniversary With Pledge to Make Abortion Available for ‘Everyone’

President Joe Biden, who calls himself Catholic, marked the 48th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision that brought legal abortion to all of America with a pledge that he will make sure that “everyone” who wants it has access to the procedure of killing their preborn children.

“In the past four years, reproductive health, including the right to choose, has been under relentless and extreme attack. We are deeply committed to making sure everyone has access to care — including reproductive health care — regardless of income, race, zip code, health insurance status, or immigration status,” said Biden via a White House Press Office statement that was attributed to both Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

“The Biden-Harris Administration is committed to codifying Roe v. Wade and appointing judges that respect foundational precedents like Roe. We are also committed to ensuring that we work to eliminate maternal and infant health disparities, increase access to contraception, and support families economically so that all parents can raise their families with dignity. This commitment extends to our critical work on health outcomes around the world,” the statement continued.

“As the Biden-Harris Administration begins in this critical moment, now is the time to rededicate ourselves to ensuring that all individuals have access to the health care they need,” the statement concluded. Disturbing: Pro-Abortion Protesters Storm Pro-Life Mass in Ohio (VIDEO)

A group of pro-abortion activists … stormed St. Joseph Cathedral in downtown Columbus, Ohio, and disrupted a pro-life Mass that was being celebrated at the time.

During Mass, which was celebrated by local Bishop Robert J. Brennan, eight activists rushed into the Cathedral and then paraded around the pews before reaching the altar, displaying posters with messages that read: “Fund abortion, not cops,” and, “Abortion on demand, end Hyde now.”

The Hyde Amendment is a legislative provision barring the use of federal funds to pay for abortion, with the exception of certain cases like incest or rape. Pro-abortion President Joe Biden had long supported the Hyde Amendment, but in 2019 changed his position to appease radical pro-abortion voters.

The mostly female group inside St. Joseph Cathedral chanted, “Two, four, six, eight, this Church teaches hate,” as they marched around the church before scuffling with police and security, who were trying to escort the protestors out.
