Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry owned shares of multiple oil and gas corporations prior to joining the White House, ethics filings show.

John Kerry previously invested in Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation, Duke Energy, Cimarex, Dominion Energy, Xcel Energy, Exelon Corporation, Valero Energy Corporation and WEC Energy Group, according to Office of Government Ethics filings obtained by Axios. Kerry reportedly sold off his entire stock portfolio, which was worth between $4.2 and $15 million, prior to joining President Joe Biden’s administration.

The Texas-based Valero Energy Corporation was recently ranked the fifth-worst emitter of greenhouse gasses despite having just 14 facilities, the San Antonio Current reported in December. The company was ordered to pay $2.85 million in a civil penalty in October for Clean Air Act violations, according to the Environmental Protection Agency.

Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation, a billion-dollar fracking and natural gas company, has been cited for environmental damages. In 2014, a Pennsylvania court granted the company’s request to place a restraining order against an anti-fracking activist, The Guardian reported. Twitter Attempts to Discredit Arizona Election Audit Underway in Maricopa County

Twitter published an editorialized trending topic under its “News” section Thursday on the Arizona audit of the November election in Maricopa County, where the state Senate has ordered an independent review of the 2.1 million ballots cast.

The audit now underway caught the ire of Democrats and legacy media outlets who are sowing doubt on its necessity or legitimacy as state lawmakers demand the independent audit be conducted by an outside firm.

“Why some officials have raised concerns over the ongoing Republican-commissioned audit of election results in Arizona,” reads the Twitter headline above its trending topic. Users are led down a storyline constructed by tweets with links to articles from the Associated Press, New York Times, and CNN.

Police: Murder Suspect Called Victim an ‘Anti-Masker’ Just After Stabbing

Police said a murder suspect called the victim he allegedly stabbed to death an “anti-masker” soon after last weekend’s incident outside a Bothell, Washington, apartment building, the Seattle Times reported.

Charging documents say John Huynh and two friends exited the Villas at Beardslee apartments just before 7:30 p.m. Sunday and headed to a car parked nearby where Huynh’s wife was waiting, the paper said.

With that a man — a stranger and fellow resident of the apartment building — flashed his middle finger, and Huynh stopped to ask him if he had flipped him off or waved to him, the Times said, citing charging papers.

The pair faced each other about four or five feet apart when the man lunged forward, stabbed Huynh in the chest, and then ran back into the building, the paper said, citing the charges. . .

Cuban Refugee’s Warning: Americans Have Digested ‘Poison Pill of Communism’ (VIDEO)

Former Cuban refugee Maximo Alvarez warned in a speech at the Republican National Convention last summer that many Americans have swallowed the “poison pill” of communism, but now he says they’ve “digested” it.

In an interview Wednesday with Lisa Boothe, he recalled witnessing during his childhood dictator Fidel Castro’s elimination of human rights, the Daily Wire reported. . .

Boothe, referring to Alvarez’s RNC speech, asked him if he believes Americans have “swallowed the communist poison pill.”

“Not only have they swallowed it, they digested it,” Alvarez replied. “Listen to the media. They’re no longer objective. You can tell how much they hate this country.

“Look at our, our academia!” he said. “Our kids are not being … they’re indoctrinated! They are taught that America is a bad country. On Friday, April 23, John Sherwood was ‘preaching the gospel’ outside Uxbridge Station. However, police arrived after the 71-year-old was accused of homophobic language, soon arresting him under the Public Order Act, which cites ‘threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, or disorderly behaviour’.

In footage uploaded to Twitter, officers can be seen pulling him off the stepladder after he refuses to come down and using force to restrain him. He was later released without charge.

As reported by the MailOnline, Sherwood said, ‘I wasn’t making any homophobic comments, I was just defining marriage as a relationship between a man and a woman. I was only saying what the Bible says – I wasn’t wanting to hurt anyone or cause offence. I was doing what my job description says, which is to preach the gospel in open air as well as in a church building.’

He explained, ‘When the police approached me, I explained that I was exercising my religious liberty and my conscience. I was forcibly pulled down from the steps and suffered some injury to my wrist and to my elbow. I do believe I was treated shamefully. They simply don’t know — i.e., they have no idea if the vaccines they’ve made will also produce the same cytokine storm (and deaths) as previous attempts at such products.

Pollster Says Biden’s Approval Numbers Are Horrific

A noted pollster is warning that Joe Biden’s approval numbers, though slightly positive, are a dark omen because they are significantly below most recent presidents.

“The fact he’s only in the low 50s right now is a really bad sign for Joe Biden,” pollster John McLaughlin said in a report by Just the News.

He said the problem is that the president is governing as an extreme leftist – after having promised the American people he would be a moderate.

“He’s taken what should have been very popular issues — COVID relief, infrastructure — that Americans overwhelmingly support and turned those into radical left-wing pieces of legislation,” said McLaughlin said in the report. “Republicans can’t wait to get into election season and talk about some of the things that are in those bills … expanding the welfare state, tax increases, basically open borders. DOJ Targets Journalist Investigating the Biden Family

As part of an investigation into former President Donald Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, the Biden Justice Department is seizing communications between the former mayor and a journalist investigating President Joe Biden’s business dealings with Ukraine.

Agents from the Manhattan U.S. attorney’s office and the FBI raided the New York residence of Giuliani early Wednesday morning. The investigation stems from at least a two-year-old probe into potential crimes of federal lobbying laws. Federal investigators seized Giuliani’s electronic devices.

The warrant presented, however, according to Giuliani’s lawyer, Robert Costello, raises questions surrounding the scope and motivation behind the investigation, where prosecutors began issuing subpoenas around the same time of Trump’s first impeachment inquiry launched by Democrats centered on conduct in Ukraine in 2019.
