Bill Passes Senate Which Would Require Women To Register For The Draft

Women may soon be required to register for the draft following approval Wednesday by the Senate Armed Services Committee to add language to its yearly defense bill which would compel women to register for selective service.

The committee approved the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which now includes language that “amends the Military Selective Service Act to require the registration of women for Selective Service,” according to a summary of the bill released on Thursday, The Hill reported.

Despite the U.S. not having used the draft since the Vietnam War, men ages 18 through 25 are required to register for the Selective Service System, and failure to register is considered a felony punishable by a fine of up to $250,000 and 5 years imprisonment. Despite the requirements of selective service, Pentagon officials have regularly said that they expect to keep the military all-volunteer, according to The Hill.

It quoted Biden saying, “The experts say we know that this virus is, in fact, uh, um, uh, it’s going to be, or excuse me.”

He said no one vaccinated will be sent to the ICU or die, and he “repeatedly gave confusing, misleading and non-linear answers when discussing masks, national security issues and COVID-19 vaccine approval.” the report said. The president made the remarks while responding to a question about how to restore faith in the American system of government during a town hall on Wednesday night.

Hospital Fires Six Managers for Refusing COVID Vaccine

A New Jersey hospital axed six supervisor-level employees for refusing to get vaccinated against the coronavirus, reports said.

RWJBarnabas Health had required supervisory workers to get jabbed by June 30, and now the system plans to expand that requirement to all of its staff and doctors, northjersey.com reported.

“As of July 14, 2,979 staff members, or 99.7 percent, who are at the supervisor level and above, have been fully vaccinated or received medical and religious exemptions or a deferral,” the company said in a statement to NBC News on Wednesday.

Melania Trump Responds to ‘Inaccurate’ Report She Trashed John McCain

The office of former first lady Melania Trump clapped back at a report published this week claiming she said the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) was “not a war hero” after enduring unimaginable abuse as a prisoner during the Vietnam War.

On Wednesday, Business Insider reported that Trump “shared her husband’s low opinion” of McCain’s “military record” as a Navy fighter pilot who was shot down and severely injured before he was captured by North Vietnamese forces and interned for nearly six years. . .

The outlet said that Lewandowski and then-candidate Trump met up with Melania Trump in New Jersey amid fall-out over the comment, as pundits and conservative talkers on the radio and TV opined that Trump should apologize in order to save his campaign.

“As we walked in the door, Mrs. Trump was waiting for us,” Lewandowski said, according to BI. “She said: ‘You’re right. John McCain isn’t a war hero. What he has done for the veterans has been shameful.’” . . .

But the former first lady’s office called BI’s description of events “inaccurate” in an email follow-up.

Report: At Least 200 Americans Have Now Reported Possible Symptoms of ‘Havana Syndrome’

As many as 200 Americans have come forward to describe possible symptoms of directed energy attacks, part of a wave of fresh reports that includes newly identified incidents around the world, Western officials say.

A U.S. official with knowledge of new potential cases of so-called Havana Syndrome said a steady drumbeat of cables has been coming in from overseas posts reporting new incidents — often multiple times each week.

A recent and previously unreported incident in Berlin cut short at least one diplomat’s term in Germany, U.S. officials and others briefed about the matter said.

Another person who was briefed this month about recent incidents said, “It is global — but there seems to be an awful lot going on in Europe.”

Officials with direct knowledge said there are now possible cases on every continent except Antarctica. In the past year, officials said, more than one American in the Central Asian country of Kyrgyzstan has experienced symptoms, including a baby. Antifa and BLM Rioters Are Finally Going to Prison

Few Antifa and BLM rioters have actually been punished for burning our cities last year and into 2021, but things may be changing. And it’s about time.

Cyan Waters Bass, who is oddly named after a Crayola crayon, will be spending the next four years in prison. Cyan, who is in his early 20s, pleaded guilty in state court last week to five charges, including first-degree arson. . .

Last month, Gavaughn Streeter-Hillerich drew a five-year sentence after pleading guilty to first-degree arson. The plea deal will allow him to dodge other charges. He was looking at a maximum sentence of 40 years.

According to a criminal complaint from Multnomah County, Oregon, Streeter-Hillerich was filmed attempting to set a fire inside a tire that was placed on an overturned dumpster, which had been pushed against a beauty supply store. A piece of flaming material blew out of the fire, prompting Streeter-Hillerich to pick it up and put it back in place. . .

The convictions are rare considering that half of the Portland rioters had their charges dropped and looters in New York City have skated, while people who walked through the Capitol on Jan 6 have languished in solitary confinement for months.

There’s Another Issue That’s About to Plague Biden and Democrats – Women Voters Will Be the First to Notice

. . .It’s inflation. It’s bound to plague us for many more months as well. Not good for a president whose party is barely clinging onto their majorities in the House and Senate. Now, Democratic pollsters are warning that political disaster awaits if it’s not dealt with seriously. Also, women voters will be the first to notice (via Axios)

Celinda Lake, who polled for the Biden presidential campaign and still advises Team Biden, told Axios that worries about inflation are coming through loud and clear in both public polls and her own focus groups.

“Women voters are really experiencing it, because they’re always more focused on kitchen table economics, microeconomics,” Lake said.

“The key target vote in the 2022 election is going to be non-college-educated women … because they are the most undecided.”

Lake said Democrats can’t afford to ignore the inflation issue or hope it goes away; they need to tackle it head on.

Police Discover Dead Man With ‘I Touch Little Girls’ Written on His Chest

. . .80-year-old [Robert Raynor] was found dead in a Staten Island apartment building with the words “I touch little girls” scrawled across his body, cops and a neighbor said Tuesday. . .

Raynor’s upstairs neighbor told The Post that he was jolted awake in the wee hours of Monday by a ruckus in the building. . .

Williams eventually dozed off despite the noise — but when he went downstairs in the morning, he spotted his neighbor’s lifeless body splayed out in the building’s hallway. . .

Written on his bare chest were the words, “I touch little girls,” according to police.

Democrats Revive Kavanaugh Allegations, Slam FBI Probe

Senate Judiciary Committee Democrats demanded this week that the FBI hand over additional information related to its 2018 investigation into Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

The Democrats led by Sens. Sheldon Whitehouse and Chris Coons raised a series of questions about the FBI’s handling of its sexual misconduct probe into Brett Kavanaugh in response to a letter the Bureau sent them in June. They expressed particular concern that the FBI had received more than 4,500 tips and shared ones deemed “relevant” to former President Donald Trump’s White House.

“The admissions in your letter corroborate and explain numerous credible accounts by individuals and firms that they had contacted the FBI with information ‘highly relevant to . . . allegations’ of sexual misconduct by Justice Kavanaugh, only to be ignored,” seven Judiciary Democrats wrote in a letter addressed to FBI Director Christopher Wray late Wednesday.
