Judge Says Former Army Ranger Used His Training in Capitol Hill Protest

A federal judge on Tuesday said a former Army Ranger who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6 used his training or experience to organize the other rioters, which made their actions “more effective, more forceful and more violent.”

CNN reported that Robert Morss, an alleged Capitol rioter who is facing nine charges in connection to the attack, was ordered to remain in jail before his trial after a federal judge ruled that he was too dangerous to be released. . .

Magistrate Judge Michael Harvey said Morss was “willing to use his training or experience to organize with the rioters on January 6 … thereby making their actions more effective, more forceful and more violent,” according to CNN.

He continued, contending that the rioters “appeared disorganized” until Morss, who was “in his element” because of his background as an Army Ranger, began giving instructions.

Johns Hopkins Study Found Zero COVID Deaths Among Healthy Kids

A team of Johns Hopkins researchers recently reported that when studying a group of about 48,000 children, they found zero COVID deaths among healthy kids, but the Centers for Disease Control doesn’t care.

Dr. Marty Makary is a medical expert and professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Bloomberg School of Public Health, and Carey Business School. His research team “worked with the nonprofit FAIR Health to analyze approximately 48,000 children under 18 diagnosed with Covid in health-insurance data from April to August 2020.”

After studying comprehensive data on thousands of children, the team “found a mortality rate of zero among children without a pre-existing medical condition such as leukemia.” Rather than acknowledge this scientific reality, Makary says the CDC continues to use “flimsy evidence” to push the COVID vaccine upon children.

As Makary noted in the Wall Street Journal on Monday, the implications of his team’s research are huge. “[If our research] holds, it has significant implications for healthy kids and whether they need two vaccine doses,” Makary says. After all, “The National Education Association has been debating whether to urge schools to require vaccination before returning to school in person. How can they or anyone debate the issue without the right data?”

Aide’s Tweet Has Gov. Cuomo Facing ‘Severe Repercussions’ in Impeachment Probe

Gov. Andrew Cuomo faces “severe repercussions” over a tweet in which his spokesman suggested a sexual harassment probe of his boss was politically motivated, the head of the Assembly’s impeachment investigation warned Wednesday.

In a letter to Cuomo, Assembly Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles Lavine (D-Long Island) said it was “difficult for me to comprehend” why his communications director, Rich Azzopardi, tweeted earlier this month that Attorney General Letitia James “says she may run against the governor.”

Lavine noted that he formally instructed Cuomo on March 15 that “neither you nor anyone associated with you” should engage in witness intimidation or retaliation and that James was “conducting a parallel investigation” to his committee’s impeachment probe.

“It is obvious that attempts to demean the Attorney General serve as well to undermine the investigation and send profoundly negative signals to witnesses,” Lavine wrote.

Suspected FBI Leaker Could Evade Consequences

A senior FBI official found guilty of misconduct for accepting unauthorized gifts from journalists, including tickets to pricy black-tie dinners, in 2016 could evade consequences because the official resigned before the investigation was completed, the Department of Justice inspector general said Tuesday.

The misconduct finding is part of a years-long Justice Department inspector general investigation into FBI media leaks during the 2016 election. In 2018, the inspector general’s office said it was probing “numerous FBI employees, at all levels of the organization and with no official reason to be in contact with the media, who were nevertheless in frequent contact with reporters.”

The FBI official at the center of the latest investigation—who resigned during the probe and whose name is being withheld by the inspector general—”violated federal regulations and FBI policy” for reportedly accepting “tickets from members of the media to two black tie dinner events, one valued at $225 and the other valued at $300,” without prior approval, according to a statement. Biden Administration To Impose ‘Hard-Hitting Sanctions’ on Cuban Officials

President Joe Biden intends to impose “hard-hitting sanctions” on the Cuban officials responsible for the repression of widespread protests against the regime, according to a senior State Department official.

“We are going to focus on applying hard-hitting sanctions on regime officials responsible for the brutal crackdown,” State Department acting Assistant Secretary Julie Chung tweeted Wednesday. “Cuban officials responsible for violence, repression, & human rights violations against peaceful protestors in Cuba must be held accountable.”

Chung, who is leading the Western Hemisphere Affairs bureau in the absence of a political appointee, aired that threat while outlining a multifaceted plan to respond to the political uproar on the island. Cuban officials have accused the United States of orchestrating the protests, which featured thousands of Cubans denouncing the regime’s brutality and its mishandling of economic and public health crises.

General Milley Refuses to Answer Questions About ‘White Rage’: ‘It’s Too Complicated’ (VIDEO)

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley refused to answer questions about “white rage” during a Wednesday press conference.

Miley said he avoided discussing the topic because it is “very complicated,” according to video of the press conference.

“I think it’s a very complicated topic and we don’t have the time to go into the nuance of it right this minute,” Milley said. “I can do that later. I’d be happy to do that later, but right now is not a good time to do that.”

The high-ranking military official has previously expressed support for Critical Race Theory (CRT) in the military and said he wanted to understand “white rage” in an effort to stamp out racism from the ranks of the United States military during testimony last month. Milley was questioned about the military’s adoption of CRT by Republicans in the House Armed Services Committee. COVID Cover-Up? Revealing Response From White House About Handling of Staffer’s Positive Test

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki sidestepped a question Wednesday regarding whether the Biden administration would have publicly disclosed a vaccinated staffer’s recent breakthrough COVID-19 case if it hadn’t been reported in the press.

Psaki confirmed Tuesday there have been multiple breakthrough positive COVID-19 test results among vaccinated staffers, shortly after news outlet Axios reported that an unnamed White House official and a staffer for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had tested positive following an event last week.

When asked during a press gaggle Wednesday if the White House would have disclosed the case regardless of Axios’ report, Psaki did not directly respond. She said the White House will disclose cases involving individuals who were in close contact with top officials going forward.

“Because of our commitment to transparency, what we’re going to be providing moving forward are updates on any White House official who tests positive for COVID-19 that the White House medical unit deems as having close contact with the president, vice president, first lady, or second gentleman,” Psaki said. “That will be up to the White House medical unit based on the criteria of the CDC.”

Rand Paul and Anthony Fauci Clash on NIH Funding In Wuhan: ‘It Is a Crime To Lie to Congress’

By Breitbart. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) grilled Dr. Anthony Fauci during a hearing on the Chinese coronavirus Tuesday over his prior claim that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has never funded gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Paul’s presentation triggered President Biden’s chief medical adviser, who refused to retract his May 11 statement and instead snapped at the Kentucky senator, brazenly telling Paul, “you do not know what you are talking about.”

“Dr. Fauci, as you are aware it is a crime to lie to Congress,” Paul began during the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor & Pensions hearing Tuesday, reminding Fauci of his previous remarks to the committee on May 11th, during which the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) director stated that the NIH has not ever and does not now fund gain of function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

“And yet, gain-of-function research was done entirely in the Wuhan Institute … and was funded by the NIH,” Paul said, citing Wuhan Virology paper entitled, “Discovery of a Rich Gene Pool of Bat SARS-Related Coronaviruses.”

Rand Paul Seeks ‘Criminal’ Investigation of Dr. Fauci

By Newsweek. Rand Paul has said he will push for a criminal probe into Dr. Anthony Fauci, following his heated exchange with the infectious diseases chief at a Senate hearing on Tuesday.

The Kentucky senator claims that the infectious diseases chief lied before Congress about funding for a Chinese lab that some have linked to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Paul agues that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded so-called “gain of function” research—a process involves enhancing a virus in a lab to study its potential impact in the real world—at a lab in Wuhan.

“When all these Republicans and RINOs (Republican In Name Only) suddenly start pretending like they cared about election integrity, it’s always the next election,” she said. “Well, what the base is focused on, what the average American is focused on, regardless of your party if you were paying attention during the election, what you were focused on, is we can never allow this to happen again. And we have to fix what happened in 2020 or otherwise there’s not going to be a next election,” Harrington told One America News Network’s Natalie Harp on Monday.

“Really, all this talk now of election integrity and stopping H.R. 1, stopping the John Lewis Voting Rights Act, isn’t that an admission that something was wrong on Nov. 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7? Georgia Official Makes Excuses for Residents Who Illegally Voted In 2020

As the Georgia secretary of state’s office continues to investigate evidence that indicates more than 10,300 Georgians may have illegally voted in the November 2020 election, on Friday the office’s chief operating officer reportedly defended voters for violating state election law.

“The reality is these are normal, everyday Georgians who are just trying to exercise their right to vote in a very weird year,” Chief Operating Officer Gabriel Sterling reportedly told Atlanta’s WSB-TV, when confronted with an admission from one voter that he had moved more than 30 days before the general election but cast his vote in the county in which he no longer lived. . .

At the time of Trump’s election challenge, in alleging widespread violations of Section 21-2-218, the president relied on information from the Secretary of State’s Office and the U.S. Postal Service National Change of Address (NCOA) database, the latter of which identified more than 100,000 individuals who had indicated a move to a new county before October 1, 2020.

Mark Davis, an expert on residency issues and voter data analytics, compared the NCOA data to official data from the Secretary of State’s Office and determined that approximately 35,000 of those Georgians cast a ballot in the county from which they had moved more than 30 days before the election. While a percentage of those voters may have moved only temporarily, perhaps because they were students or in the military—circumstances that do not affect a voter’s residency—with less than 12,000 votes separating Biden and Trump, this bucket of potentially illegal votes could have resulted in a state court tossing the election results. Report: FBI Allegedly Played ‘Larger Role’ in Whitmer Kidnapping Plot Than Previously Known

The FBI allegedly played a much “larger role” in the plot to kidnap Democratic Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, according to a BuzzFeed News report. The defense had originally planned to argue that the alleged plotters were “induced or persuaded” by the FBI.

At least 12 FBI informants and undercover FBI agents were involved with gathering information against the anti-government militia members who allegedly planned to kidnap Whitmer. BuzzFeed claimed that the FBI played a greater role than was previously known. The months-long investigation eventually led to the arrest of 14 individuals in connection to the plot to kidnap Whitmer, and 13 of them have pleaded not guilty, according to BuzzFeed.

The defendants claimed that the FBI-connected individuals often encouraged militia members to engage in the planning process and other criminal activities, and facilitated some of these interactions, according to Buzzfeed. From the defendants’ perspective, the informants and undercover agents were crucial pieces to the alleged plot. The defense further argued claimed that without the FBI’s influence, there may have never been a conspiracy to allegedly kidnap the governor, according to BuzzFeed.

One of these informants, a man from Wisconsin, reportedly planned meet-ups for the anti-government militia members, even paying for hotel rooms and food to incentivize some of these militia members. The earliest versions of the plan to take Whitmer hostage began at those meetings, BuzzFeed reported.
