AR-15 Firearms Placed in County Schools as a Security Measure

AR-15 guns have been placed on site at Madison County, North Carolina, schools as a security precaution.

“We were able to put an AR-15 rifle and safe in all of our schools in the county,” Sheriff Buddy Harwood said, according to the Asheville Citizen Times. “We’ve also got breaching tools to go into those safes. We’ve got extra magazines with ammo in those safes.”

“The reason we put the breaching tools in the safes is that in the event we have someone barricaded in a door, we won’t have to wait on the fire department to get there,” Harwood said. “We’ll have those tools to be able to breach that door if needed. I do not want to have to run back out to the car to grab an AR, because that’s time lost. Homosexual Couple Arrested for Allegedly Using Adopted Children to Make Child Porn

A Georgia couple have been arrested for using their two adopted children to make child porn, according to police.

Around 4 p.m. on July 27, detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division of the Walton County Sheriff’s Office raided a home in Loganville – a town about 35 miles northeast of Atlanta. The officers had received tips that a man at the residence was downloading child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and obtained a search warrant.

“During the subsequent interview with the suspect, it was discovered that he was, in fact, receiving/collecting CSAM and that a secondary suspect lived in Walton County,” the Walton County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. “Detectives were told that this secondary suspect was producing homemade child sexual abuse material with at least one child who lived in the home with the perpetrator.” . . .

During the search of the home, police officers discovered that the two adult males who lived at the residence were “engaging in sexually abusive acts and video documenting this abuse,” according to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office. The two men allegedly used their two adopted children to make child porn.

William Dale Zulock, 32, and Zachary Jacoby Zulock, 35, were arrested. The couple were booked at the Walton County Jail and charged with aggravated child molestation, sexual exploitation of children, and enticing a child for indecent purposes, according to WSB-TV. Streets to Suites: Dem-Run City Could Force Private Businesses to House the Homeless

Los Angeles voters will cast their ballot on a proposal that could force hotels to house the homeless, a policy that has many hotel owners concerned about how it will impact public safety.

President of the Northeast Los Angeles Hotel Owners Association Ray Patel joined “Fox & Friends Weekend,” Sunday, to discuss why the policy is not a long-term solution and his worry if the policy is adopted.

“This is not a solution, it’s just a temporary fix,” Patel told co-host Carley Shimkus. “And during Project Roomkey, a great example, they housed the unhoused in the hotels – but the government never provided an end solution. They never provided transitional services to permanent housing; and simply issuing hotel vouchers impacting our hotels and our marketability of those rooms to the pain tourist, corporate travelers and locals is not a solution now.”

Patel touted the COVID-era program to secure housing for the homeless, but stressed his concern surrounding how the policy would impact public safety as crime continues to spiral out of control.

If passed, the voucher program would require hotels to send information on their vacant rooms for the day by 2 PM daily, but Patel stressed that many guests have not yet checked in by that time. Popular Children’s Toy Store Makes Startling Comeback

Toys R Us, the beloved children’s toy store, is officially back inside Macy’s locations in 9 states, with more “coming soon.”

The retailer did a Christmas in July-type announcement, saying all locations will be complete by October 15, just in time for the holiday shopping season.

Current locations are in California, Georgia, New Jersey, Illinois, Nevada, Louisiana, New York, Maryland and Missouri, according to the Macy’s website. The additional locations opening soon across the country are listed as well.

The in-store shops range from 1,000 square feet up to 10,000 square feet. Larger locations dubbed “flagship locations” will be in Atlanta, Chicago, Honolulu, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York and San Francisco.

Dems Aren’t Fooling Americans With Their So-Called ‘Inflation Reduction Act’

As Senate Democrats are making their way out of pulling an all-nighter from voting on amendments pertaining to their so-called “Inflation Reduction Act,” Americans aren’t buying what the left is trying to sell.

A poll published by the Economist/YouGov, found that 36 percent of respondents believe the bill actually will increase Bidenflation, contrary to what the name of the legislative says.

23 percent of Americans think the bill will not affect inflation either way, while just 12 percent believe the Democrats plan will help with lowering costs.

Additionally, a study from Penn Wharton Budget Model, predicts the bill will have very little impact on the U.S. economy, believing that inflation will continue to rise for another two years before it falls. The sprawling Hunter Biden probe is hurtling toward a conclusion, and former prosecutors who have followed the case say signs point to a “generous” guilty plea deal that would spare the Biden administration further embarrassment.

Media outlets have reported that the grand jury probe of President Biden’s second son has reached a “critical stage” as prosecutors consider charges.

Hunter Biden has not been charged with wrongdoing, but investigators have been looking into suspected violations of federal gun and tax laws. He is also under federal scrutiny for suspicion of money laundering and violation of foreign lobbying requirements tied to his overseas business dealings.

Israel, Palestinian Militants Declare Gaza Truce

Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad militant group declared a truce late on Sunday, raising hopes of an end to the most serious flare-up on the Gaza frontier in more than a year.

Israeli forces pounded Palestinian targets through the weekend, triggering rocket attacks against its cities, which largely tapered off by the time the truce came into effect at 11:30 p.m. local time.

It was announced in separate statements by Islamic Jihad and then Israel, who both thanked Egypt for mediating the ceasefire.

The three-day clashes echoed preludes to previous Gaza wars, though they were relatively contained as Hamas, the governing Islamist group in the Gaza Strip and a more powerful force than Iranian-backed Islamic Jihad, had so far stayed out. ‘Devastating Step’: Biden Admin Speaks Out Against New Indiana Pro-life Law

The White House has spoken out against Indiana’s new bill that limits most abortions as it becomes the first state to pass such restrictions since the Supreme Court’s overturn of Roe v. Wade.

“The Indiana Legislature took a devastating step as a result of the Supreme Court’s extreme decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and eliminate women’s constitutionally-protected right to abortion,” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a statement on Saturday.

“And, it’s another radical step by Republican legislators to take away women’s reproductive rights and freedom, and put personal health care decisions in the hands of politicians rather than women and their doctors,” she added.

The statement challenged Congress to “act immediately” to restore the protections of Roe. It also said President Joe Biden is “committed to taking action” regarding access to abortion care under federal law.

Joe Biden Met Chinese Energy Execs With Ties to Hunter at White House in 2014

Joe Biden hosted a White House meeting with two Chinese energy executives with ties to his son Hunter back when he was vice president in 2014, records show.

The president, who still insists he never spoke to Hunter about his son’s overseas business dealings, met the two executives from Wanxiang — a major Chinese company — in the West Wing on July 25, 2014, according to White House visitor logs.

Wanxiang America president, Pin Ni, and Wanxiang Resources Co. president, Youhong Han, were at the White House for just over an hour — after the last-minute meeting was scheduled a day earlier, the records, first reported by the Daily Mail, show.

A client of Hunter’s Seneca Global Advisors company, GreatPoint Energy, had previously partnered with Wanxiang in 2012 for a $1.25 billion natural gas plant in China.

Hunter was also linked to the Chinese company via his investment in the Fisker car business, which was bought by Wanxiang in February 2014. Biden’s son had previously purchased one of Fisker’s electric sports cars for more than $100,000. Candy Company Apologizes to Communist China for Calling Taiwan a Country

The candy company that produces Snickers issued an apology to communist China for rightly saying in an advertisement that Taiwan is a country.

The company, Mars Wrigley, reportedly faced backlash from Chinese social media users after promoting a limited edition Snickers bar that was said to only be available in the “countries” of Malaysia, South Korea, and Taiwan, Reuters reported.

Chinese state-run newspaper Global Times reported that the company “apologized for marking Taiwan island as a country, saying its local team has verified & aligned the official site and social media accounts to ensure accurate content.”

“Snickers owner Mars Wrigley said it respects China’s [national] sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the Global Times tweeted.
