House Democrats Kill Amendment That Would Have Protected Religious Americans From Persecution Under LGBT Bill

Democrats in the House of Representatives blocked an amendment that would have protected religious Americans from retaliation based on their opposition to same-sex marriage, in order to jam legislation furthering the LGBT lobby’s agenda through Congress’s lame-duck session.

House Rules Committee Chairman Rep. James McGovern shot down Republicans’ last chance of defending religious liberty in the ill-named Respect for Marriage Act on Monday when he refused to even let Rep. Chip Roy’s amendment solidifying First Amendment protections be brought to the House floor for a vote.

McGovern’s reasoning for bypassing procedural debate was rooted in the fact that Roy’s amendment would give the process of passing the RFMA a shelf life that could last well into the newly-elected Republican House.

Seeing as most of the Republicans in the current House oppose the RFMA on the grounds that it stomps on religious Americans’ right to act on their convictions about traditional marriage, McGovern and his Democrat allies weren’t keen on waiting around to see if the legislation would survive the new GOP-led House.

“If we were to amend this and it goes back to the Senate, for all intents and purposes, it’s dead for the year. And many of us believe that we have a court right now that is hell-bent on trying to reverse the rights for the LGBTQ community and we do not trust them to respect marriage equality in this country,” McGovern said to the rules committee on Monday. “When January comes along, the gentleman’s party will be in charge and you can bring one amendment after another to reverse the last 70 years of social progress, if the gentleman prefers. We will oppose you on that.”

‘Alarming Possibility’ COVID Booster Mandates Will Cause ‘Net Harm’ to Young Adults, Study Claims

A new study claims to show that COVID-19 booster vaccines, particularly of the mRNA variety, are likely to pose a net harm to individuals aged 18-29.

The research, published in the British Medical Journal’s Journal of Medical Ethics by a team of researchers at institutions in the U.S., United Kingdom and Canada, estimates that somewhere between 31,000 and 43,000 young adults must be vaccinated with a COVID-19 booster to prevent one hospitalization from the illness. The researchers anticipated at least 18.5 “serious adverse events” for each hospitalization prevented.

The authors argue that, based on their data, universities and other institutions should not be enforcing booster vaccine mandates unless it is proven that the cost-benefit scale tips in the vaccine’s favor. They conducted the analysis using publicly-available data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on COVID-19 and vaccine adverse events.

“Our estimate shows that university COVID-19 vaccine mandates are likely to cause net expected harms to young healthy adults—for each hospitalisation averted we estimate approximately 18.5 SAEs and 1430–4626 disruptions of daily activities—that is not outweighed by a proportionate public health benefit,” the paper concludes. “As such, these severe infringements of individual liberty and human rights are ethically unjustifiable.”

“Our analysis … shows the alarming possibility that mandates may result in a net expected harm to young people,” one of the authors, Kevin Bardosh, wrote on Twitter.

Kanye Krazy: Hitler’s Bad Reputation ‘Made by Jewish People’ Who ‘Control Majority of Media’

Kanye West continued his antisemitic media tour on Monday with an appearance on Gavin McInnes’ Censored.TV, claiming that Adolf Hitler’s bad reputation was “made by Jewish people ” who “control the majority of the media.”

He also urged Jewish people to “forgive” Hitler. “Let it go. Let it go. And stop trying to force it on other people,” he said.

The latest interview comes as West has doubled and even tripled-down on his antisemitic beliefs by publicly proclaiming his admiration for Hitler and his denial that millions of Jews were killed in the Holocaust. . .

McInnes appeared to try to get West to distance himself from Hitler, saying he has a “pretty bad reputation.”

Fauci Claimed He Had ‘No Involvement’ in Redacting Sensitive Emails, but Legal Filings Tell a Different Story

Dr. Anthony Fauci appeared to contradict his own agency during a Nov. 23 deposition by claiming that he is not involved in the redaction of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, a transcript of the record revealed on Monday.

The seven-hour deposition was led by Republican Attorney General (AG) Eric Schmitt of Missouri and Republican Attorney General Jeff Landry of Louisiana to uncover Fauci’s role in aiding social media censorship in 2020. When asked about his role in responding to various FOIA requests about his emails from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), of which he is the director, and the National Institute of Health, Fauci responded that he was not immediately involved; however, the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) previously claimed otherwise.

“I don’t — a FOIA request does not come to me, and I look through my e-mails and give the e-mails that they ask for,” Fauci said in the transcript. “We have a system at the NIH where FOIA requests come in and a different component of the institutes tap into the e-mails and provide the e-mails that are requested. I don’t decide which e-mails go and don’t go.”

Fauci continued, stating that he has “never redact[ed]” anything. . .

However, the HHS claimed otherwise during a Joint Status Report in a 2020 lawsuit filed by the Daily Caller News Foundation over a public record request. The request is being managed by Judicial Watch, a conservative organization dedicated to “transparency, accountability and integrity in government, politics and the law,” according to its website. Kanye West Was on Alex Jones’ Show and It Went Totally off the Rails

Either Kanye West is legitimately mentally ill and needs immediate assistance, or we’re watching performance art like no other. Because after his appearance on Alex Jones’ program, one becomes utterly speechless. On the one hand, it’s a marriage made in heaven between these two. Jones is a noted conspiracy theorist whose InfoWars empire has taken a significant financial hit after the parents of the Sandy Hook shooting sued him for defamation. Jones lost and must fork over a billion dollars in damages and legal fees; Jones was incessant in his claims that the mass shooting that left 20 school kids dead was a false flag operation to enact more gun control.

And then, there’s Mr. West, who has an affinity for Adolf Hitler and the Nazis, adding that they had tremendous architectural insights and a fantastic sense of style. West also said he loves Jewish people and Nazis. He also said that we must stop demonizing the Nazi Party, which wasn’t responsible for the murder of 6 million Jews. Dem City Will Pay $600,000 to Protesters for Injuries Sustained in 2020 George Floyd Demonstrations

A federal court Wednesday approved Minneapolis, Minnesota’s agreement to pay 12 protesters a combined $600,000 for injuries sustained during 2020 demonstrations over George Floyd’s murder.

The agreement settled a lawsuit brought by American Civil Liberties Union of Minnesota (ACLU-MN) on the protesters’ behalf, and bars Minneapolis from arresting or using physical force including chemical agents against people demonstrating legally, according to a Wednesday ACLU-MN press release. The Minnesota U.S. District Court’s injunction concluding the lawsuit Wednesday mandates body-camera recordings for Minneapolis officers deployed to protests and limits their use of chemical agents for peaceful protest dispersion.

“Tear gas, foam bullets and pepper spray became weapons for intimidating and hurting protesters, making it dangerous for people to exercise their First Amendment rights,” ACLU-MN Legal Director Teresa Nelson said. “We hope this settlement sends a message to law enforcement across Minnesota that this violation of our constitutional rights will not be tolerated.”

Freudian Slip? Obama Talks About ‘Crazy’ ‘Uncle Joe’ Not Having Any ‘Serious Responsibilities’ During Warnock Campaign Rally

Former President Barack Obama just made an unfortunate gaffe about President Joe Biden’s mental state while campaigning in Georgia with incumbent Senator Raphael Warnock (D-GA) ahead of next week’s Senate runoff election against GOP challenger Herschel Walker.

Why isn’t the actual Biden campaigning for Warnock this week? Well, the reverend won’t say why he doesn’t want Biden on the campaign trail, but his absence was highlighted when Obama made a comparison between Walker and a “crazy” avuncular character most American families seem to have.

“We all know some folks in our lives, who we don’t wish them ill will. They say crazy stuff and we’re all like, ‘Well, Uncle Joe, you know what happened to him,’” Obama said to laughs from the audience. “They’re part of the family, but you don’t give them serious responsibilities.”

Obama’s comments came immediately after mocking Walker for a story he recently told about vampires and why he would want to be a werewolf instead. The 44th president said that Walker can be anything he wants to be — just not a United States senator.

Arizona County Certifies Midterm Election Results After Court Order

Officials in Cochise County, Arizona, certified the election results of last month’s midterm elections Thursday after a court order compelled them to do so.

The three-person board of supervisors for the county voted 2-0, with one member not showing up for the vote.

The Grand Canyon State is set to certify the state’s full results Monday, making Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs’s (D-AZ) victory over Kari Lake, Hobbs’s Republican opponent in the gubernatorial race, official. Documents Reveal Senate Democrat Pressured IRS, DOJ to Target Conservative Groups

Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., called for revoking a tax exemption for a conservative group for not masking up and socially distancing during the pandemic, insisted on a slew of investigations of other conservative groups, and pressed for the Internal Revenue Service to expand its reach.

A total of 176 pages of correspondence from and to Whitehouse was obtained from the IRS by the conservative watchdog group American Accountability Foundation through the Freedom of Information Act and shared with The Daily Signal.

“It’s abundantly clear that [Whitehouse] is trying to take the 87,000 new IRS agents and put them to work investigating me and my friends because he doesn’t like their politics,” Tom Jones, president and founder of the American Accountability Foundation, told The Daily Signal in a phone interview Tuesday.

The letters span from Jan. 19, 2021, the day before President Joe Biden took office, into May 2022. . .

Whitehouse long has been a critic of conservative, nonprofit organizations and uses an expansive definition of “dark money” groups, broadly defined as tax-exempt organizations that don’t disclose donors. Elon Musk Will Not Sign Autographs ‘Ever Again’ as He Warns Assassination Risk Is ‘Quite Significant’

By Daily Wire. Twitter CEO Elon Musk told groveling paparazzi over the weekend night that he will “never again” sign autographs as he warned that the risk that someone will try to assassinate him is actually “quite significant.”

Musk told the paparazzi that he would no longer sign autographs after he landed in at Dulles International Airport Saturday night, TMZ reported.

“I want to be clear, I’m not doing any more signings ever again,” Musk said as he was surrounded by security guards.

The news comes after Musk said during a chat on Twitter Spaces Saturday afternoon that the risk to his security has increased in recent months.
