Intel Veteran Knew Hunter Biden Laptop ‘Had to Be Real’ Before Signing Letter

One of the 51 intelligence veterans who signed a letter suggesting the Hunter Biden laptop story could be part of a Russian disinformation operation said they knew the contents of the device were genuine at the time.

The letter, which came out in the days leading up to the 2020 presidential election, was used to dismiss the laptop and its provenance. Many of the contents of which have since been analyzed and shown to be authentic.

In a new interview more than two years later, Douglas Wise, a former Defense Intelligence Agency deputy director, told The Australian, “all of us figured that a significant portion of that content had to be real to make any Russian disinformation credible.”

The signees, which included former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former CIA Director John Brennan, warned in the letter that the October 2020 arrival of reporting about the laptop “has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”

Going further than what the letter said, Politico used a headline that said the former intelligence officials were claiming the story was “Russian disinfo.” (Read more from “Intel Veteran Knew Hunter Biden Laptop ‘Had to Be Real’ Before Signing Letter” HERE)

WATCH: Biden Forgets Name Of MLK’s Daughter-In-Law While Singing ‘Happy Birthday’ To Her

President Joe Biden appeared to forget the name of Martin Luther King Jr.’s daughter-in-law while singing “Happy Birthday” to her on Monday while speaking at a left-wing event.

The incident happened as the 80-year-old president addressed the National Action Network, which is run by Al Sharpton, Martin Luther King III, and his wife.

“Martin the Third, we celebrate a legacy of your beloved father and mother. They worked for the beloved community. But congratulations today to the honorees including your wife, who I understand it’s her birthday today?” Biden said of 49-year-old Arndrea Waters King.

“Well look, my wife has a rule in our family, when it’s someone’s birthday, you sing ‘Happy Birthday,’” Biden continued. “You ready?” . . .

“Happy Birthday dear [inaudible],” Biden concluded. “Happy Birthday to you.” (Read more from “WATCH: Biden Forgets Name Of MLK’s Daughter-In-Law While Singing ‘Happy Birthday’ To Her” HERE)

VIDEO: ‘Jesus Saves’ Shirt Is ‘Offending’ Mall of America Shoppers, Security Guard Says — And He Orders Man to Remove Shirt or Get Out of the Mall

Cellphone video captured a confrontation involving a Mall of America security guard telling a man wearing a “Jesus Saves” T-shirt that his shirt is “offending” shoppers at the famously large mall in Bloomington, Minnesota — and the guard ordered the man to remove the shirt or leave the mall. . .

Alpha News — an independent outfit that covers news across the state that often goes unreported — said the confrontation took place last weekend, citing videos published on social media.

The outlet linked to a pair of clips showing the man talking with security guards near the mall’s rotunda, and Alpha News added that one of the videos was livestreamed Jan. 7 to Facebook.

The back of man’s shirt reads “Jesus is the only way” and includes the well-known “coexist” symbol crossed out, the outlet said.

“Jesus is associated with religion, and it’s offending people,” a security guard tells the man in one clip, adding that “people have been offended.”

Here Are States Where Residents Spend the Most on Rent

Two states that are among the world’s biggest tourist destinations are also the priciest for renters, a new study has found.

Hawaii and California top the list of states where renters spend the biggest chunk of their paychecks on housing, according to an analysis by Forbes Home.

The average monthly income of Hawaiians is $5,079, yet residents spend an average of $2,136 on rent. This means 42% of their income on average goes to rent. Most of the population is located in the capital of Honolulu.

California is second on the list at 28% of income going toward rent. This is based on a monthly income of $6,385, with the average rent being $1,818. While California has some extremely pricey homes for rent, it also has low-income housing spread across the state, and that brings down the average.

California and Hawaii are the first and 10th most visited states in America, according to Vivid Maps. (Read more from “Here Are States Where Residents Spend the Most on Rent” HERE)

Trump Calls Out Biden for Lack of Visitor Logs at Home That Housed Classified Docs

Former President Donald J. Trump called out the Biden Administration Monday after the White House and Secret Service claimed that there are no guest logs from Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware, residence, where his personal attorneys have discovered classified documents.

In a Truth Social post on Monday, Trump dubbed Biden’s garage, where classified material was discovered next to his cherished Corvette Stingray last week, “flimsy” and “unsecured” before painting a contrast with Mar-a-Lago.

“Mar-a-Lago is a highly secured facility, with Security Cameras all over the place, and watched over by staff & our great Secret Service. I have INFO on everyone!” Trump wrote, seemingly suggesting he has kept much better visitor records than Biden has.

As Breitbart News reported, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, Rep. James Comer (R-KY), penned a letter to White House chief of staff Ron Klain on Sunday calling for the release of the visitor logs from Biden’s Wilmington home, where classified documents were found in two locations after the initial discovery of classified papers at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, DC. Report: Suspect in Idaho Student Killings Had ‘Little Remorse’ as Teenager (VIDEO)

The man accused of fatally stabbing four University of Idaho students reportedly shared dark thoughts online when he was a young person.

The suspect apparently wrote about being unable to feel emotion and claiming he could do “whatever I want with little remorse,” the New York Times reported Friday:

The new revelations about the suspect, Bryan Kohberger, come from posts he made on an online forum in which he discussed his mental health struggles, as well as from interviews with those who knew him and messages he sent to friends that were obtained by The New York Times. They paint a portrait of an anxious, isolated and depressed teenager who turned to heroin use before eventually getting clean and becoming fascinated with studying criminal psychology, saying then that he hoped to one day provide counseling for high-profile criminals.

Pentagon Officials ‘Exploring’ Back Pay for Troops Discharged for Refusing COVID Vaccine

The U.S. Department of Defense said Friday that service members discharged for refusal to comply with the COVID vaccine requirement might receive back pay after Pentagon officials repealed the mandate last week.

Pentagon officials ended the coronavirus vaccine mandate for the U.S. Military, which was instituted in August 2021, after House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) forced an end to the program after Congress passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) in December.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin wrote in a memo on Tuesday that officials had formally rescinded the vaccine mandate for the U.S. Military and the National Guard, which Politico reported “opened the door to reinstating troops” who believe they were wrongfully discharged.

However, officials still have not decided whether such service members would receive back pay.

“The Department is still exploring this and will provide its views on legislation of this nature at the appropriate time and through the appropriate process,” Pentagon spokesperson Maj. Charlie Dietz told the news outlet in a Friday email. (Read more from “Pentagon Officials ‘Exploring’ Back Pay for Troops Discharged for Refusing COVID Vaccine” HERE)

Even Schiff Admits: Possible National Security Jeopardized With Biden Documents

Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that Congress could not “exclude the possibility” that national security was jeopardized by the handling of President Biden’s classified documents. . .

Karl said, “Is it possible that national security was jeopardized here as many, including you, raised that possibility with the Mar-a-Lago documents?”

Schiff said, “I don’t think we can exclude the possibility without knowing more of the facts. We have asked for an assessment in the intelligence community of the Mar-a-Lago documents. I think we ought to get that same assessment to the documents found in the think tank as well as the home of President Biden. I’d like to know what these documents were.” (Read more from “Even Schiff Admits: Possible National Security Jeopardized With Biden Documents” HERE)

Biden’s TSA Face Scanners Threaten Your Freedom and Privacy

President Joe Biden’s Transportation Security Administration (TSA) quietly unveiled a controversial facial recognition program at airports, which has been followed by major pushback that could affect people’s everyday lives.

16 of the nation’s largest airports including, Atlanta, Boston Denver, and Los Angeles, are now using face scanners to verify the identity of travelers rather than handing over their driver’s license or passport.

TSA plans to expand the program so that eventually all U.S. airports are using facial recognition, making it one of the largest efforts to collect advanced biometric data of law-abiding citizens in US history.

The controversy of the program, which is already being used in Communist-run countries such as China, has mounted from the political spectrum, arguing that facial recognition is a direct violation of Americans’ privacy and civil rights.

New ATF Rule Tightens American’s 2A: ‘Joe Biden Is the Enemy of Our Second Amendment’

A new Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) rule has Second Amendment supporters up in arms after they announced they are tightening their grip on allowing rifles.

Previously, the ATF ruled that rifles were legal. However, President Joe Biden sought to enlist a new rule, part of his “gun crime strategy,” that would ban millions of rifles.

In the 296-page document, the rule states heavy restrictions to Americans who seek to own a firearm, treating guns with stabilizing accessories like short-barreled rifles.

“Any weapons with ‘stabilizing braces’ or similar attachments that constitute rifles under the NFA must be registered no later than 120 days after the date of publication in the Federal Register,” read the rule, adding “or the short barrel removed and a 16-inch or longer rifle barrel attached to the firearm; or permanently remove and dispose of, or alter, the ‘stabilizing brace’ such that it cannot be reattached, or the firearm is turned in to your local ATF office. Or the firearm is destroyed.” . . .

The National Rifles Association (NRA) hit back at the Biden Administration saying that “Joe Biden is an enemy of our Second Amendment.” (Read more from “New ATF Rule Tightens American’s 2A: ‘Joe Biden Is the Enemy of Our Second Amendment'” HERE)
