WATCH: Trump Tower Surrounded by SWAT Teams After Woman Entered Building Carrying Rifle

At least part of Trump International Hotel and Tower in Chicago was reportedly placed on lockdown after a woman wielding a rifle was seen entering the building.

Just before 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, an unidentified woman was spotted entering the hotel located along the Chicago River. Reports indicate that the incident may be related to a domestic dispute and that the woman allegedly stated she “was tired of being abused by her husband.”

The woman may live in the building, as it offers both temporary stays and long-term apartment housing. Some units are even available for purchase. SWAT teams quickly arrived on the scene and rushed to an apartment on the 27th floor, where the woman had reportedly gone.

There have been no reports of gunfire or any violent outbreaks, and Chicago police indicated that there was no imminent threat to the public. The incident has been described as “domestic” in nature, and police do not believe it is related to terrorism.

Twitter Adds ‘State-Affiliated Media’ Label to NPR’s Account

On Tuesday, Twitter added a “US state-affiliated media” label to NPR’s social media account. The label appears at the top of the new organization’s profile and on every tweet.

According to the social media website’s policies, the “state-affiliated media” designation is placed on government accounts and used to “provide additional context for accounts heavily engaged in geopolitics and diplomacy.”

The label appears on the profile page of the relevant Twitter account and on the Tweets sent by and shared from these accounts. Labels contain information about the country the account is affiliated with and whether it is operated by a government representative or state-affiliated media entity,” the policy states.

In the past, the label has been reserved for foreign government-affiliated media outlets, including Russia-based RT and China-based Xinhua.

ChatGPT Will Make Fun of Jesus but Not Muhammad

ChatGPT, the revolutionary new machine learning product developed by OpenAI, made jokes about Jesus Christ when prompted but not the prophet Muhammad.

When asked to make a joke about Jesus, the technology said, “Why did Jesus refuse to play hockey? Because every time he tried to score, they nailed him to the boards!”

But when asked to make a joke about the Prophet Muhammad, it said, “it is not appropriate for me to tell jokes about religious figures, including the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), as it could be considered disrespectful and offensive to many people.”

The language model, which was trained on Microsoft’s Azure network and is the benefit of a multi-billion dollar investment from the company, has come under fire for a number of seemingly biased answers it provides.

ChatGPT is a developed by OpenAI, which was created using deep learning algorithms. It employs a form of artificial intelligence that allows it to learn from data sets that OpenAI trains it on, as well as its ability to learn through interactions with its millions of daily users. China Reportedly Breaks Agreement With Vatican Again

Bishop Shen Bin has become the new bishop of Shanghai, AsiaNews and other news websites in China reported April 4. He is the head of the Chinese Council of Bishops, which is not recognized by the Holy See. His appointment to Shanghai by this body did not reportedly come with the the endorsement of Rome, which means that once again the agreement established between China and the Holy See in 2018 has been ignored.

“The Holy See was informed a few days ago of the decision of the Chinese authorities to transfer Bishop Shen Bin of Haimen to the Diocese of Shanghai and learned this morning through the media of this transfer,” said the director of the Vatican press office, Matteo Bruni, when questioned by journalists on April 4. He did not give further details.

According to Asia News, Bishop Shen Bin, until then bishop of Haimen, a diocese north of Shanghai in Jiangsu province, was installed without the approval of Rome. “Sources told AsiaNews that the appointment is ‘unilateral,’ without papal approval,” the agency said.

This would be the second violation in just over four months of the agreement on the appointment of bishops established between Rome and Beijing. Signed in 2018 and subsequently renewed in October 2020 and 2022, this agreement stipulates that the choice of new Chinese bishops must be validated by the Holy See and the Chinese authorities. Air Force Tackles Recruitment Woes With New Body Fat Standards

The Air Force raised the body fat percentages allowed for new recruits amid the service’s ongoing recruitment crisis, an Air Force official confirmed Tuesday.

Male recruits will now be able to join at 26% body fat, up from the previous 20% benchmark, Military.com reported. The body fat percentage for female recruits increased from 28% to 36%, the outlet noted.

The move comes as the Air Force expects to miss its recruiting goals by 10% this year, according to Military.com. Officials anticipate the changes will result in an additional 50-100 new recruits each month, the Air Force Times reported.

The new standards are the latest in military efforts to overcome recruitment challenges. The Air Force allowed at least 43 recruits who tested positive for tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) to join earlier this year under a pilot program that allowed THC positive recruits to wait and retest. Biden Administration ‘Facilitating’ Trafficking of Child Refugees, Grand Jury Charges

A Florida grand jury accused the Biden administration of “facilitating” the trafficking of child refugees after a five-month investigation conducted at the request of Governor Ron DeSantis.

The panel issued a scathing report, denounced the Biden administration and, in particular, the Homeland Security Department and Department of Health and Human Service’s Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). It disputed ORR’s claim that child refugees are being cared for and reunited with their families.

“In reality, ORR is facilitating the forced migration, sale, and abuse of foreign children, and some of our fellow Florida residents are (in some cases unwittingly) funding and incentivizing it for primarily economic reasons,” the report stated. “If any resident of Florida exposed U.S.-born children to this process, they would be justifiably arrested for child neglect or worse.”

Through the White House’s policies, the two federal agencies are effectively encouraging unaccompanied children from South and Central America to make the dangerous trip to the U.S. border, the grand jury found. Once at the border, many of the children are abandoned to unvetted adults, the report found. Opioid Prescriptions Surged Among New Moms in COVID Lockdown

New mothers who gave birth after March 2020 received “more potent and more frequent opioid prescriptions” within six months than those who had children before COVID-19 lockdowns, a new study found.

A team of five researchers published the study Monday in JAMA Network Open, examining the records of 460,371 privately insured mothers who gave birth to a single newborn from July 2018 to December 2020. It warns of a possible surge in opioid addictions among new moms who may have abused painkillers to numb unpleasant feelings during the lockdowns.

“This potential for misuse was compounded during COVID-19, as the isolation and stressors of the pandemic may have been associated with women misusing opioids as a coping mechanism,” the researchers wrote.

The study found that opioid fill rates were 2.8 percentage points higher from March to December 2020 — after officials nationwide issued stay-at-home orders — than during the previous three years.

The mean of daily morphine-equivalent prescription fills was 1.7 percentage points higher; the rate of opioid prescriptions filled for every 100 moms was 4.6 percentage points higher; and the prescription rate of schedule II opioids was 2.8 percentage points higher than pre-existing trends. ‘Women Are a Biological Reality’: Gay Night Club Posts Sign Outside That Reads ‘XY = Male XX = Female’

A gay bar in New Zealand drew criticism from the transgender community after claiming that biological sex matters.

Cruz, a nightclub and bar in New Zealand, placed a sign outside the establishment that reads “XY = Male XX = Female,” apparently rejecting the idea that gender is unrelated to biological sex. The statement led to significant backlash, with some individuals accusing the business of transphobia.

The bar elaborated on Facebook, posting a picture of the sign with the caption, “women are a biological reality.” Pre-empting criticism, the bar’s Facebook account linked to videos that showed a transgender-critical speaker being attacked by trans activists and another video that claimed transgender policies negatively affect youth.

In a response to a Facebook supporter, the bar claimed that many gay and lesbian people are reluctant to speak out against the transgender movement.

“[U]nfortunately many gay and lesbian targeted businesses are afraid to call this out for what it is. That’s how things came to get as far as they have with the trans madness!” the bar posted. Police Found Suicide Note, Shotgun and Ammunition During Search of Transgender Shooter’s Home

Investigators recovered a suicide note and further evidence during a search of Nashville school shooter Audrey Hale’s home, according to a court document.

Metro Nashville police officers scouring the 28-year-old transgender shooter’s home on the day of the killings discovered the fir, ammunition and a shotgun among 47 items, according to an inventory of the seized property.

Also recovered from the property — which Hale shared with her parents — were more journals, cellphones and laptops, according to the document, which was obtained by The Post.

The revelation comes one day after police revealed that Hale had “considered the actions of other mass murderers” and had left behind a trove of writings.

“In the collective writings by Hale found in her vehicle in the school parking lot, and others later found in the bedroom of her home, she documented, in journals, her planning over a period of months to commit mass murder at the Covenant School,” the Metro Nashville Police Department said Monday.
