Retired Army Rangers Hammer the Pentagon for Purging Confederates From the Ranger Memorial

After the Army erased names on the Ranger Memorial believed to be associated with the Confederacy, retired Rangers told the Daily Caller News Foundation the move undermines the memorial’s intent to honor the contributions of Rangers throughout U.S. history.

Fort Benning’s Col. Colin Mahle proceeded with recommendations from the Congressionally-mandated Naming Commission to cover or remove certain names on the Ranger Memorial associated with the Confederacy, even though they served the United States honorably, retired Brig. Gen. Joseph Stringham, Chairman of the National Ranger Memorial Foundation, wrote in a letter on April 28. Not only did the commission dishonor the Rangers commemorated, but hiding the names denies free expression of those who contributed to the memorial for the sake of political clout, retired Rangers told the DNCF.

“It’s disgraceful. I think it’s foolish because it covers up history,” Retired Ranger 1st Lt. Richard Fincher, who served in the 101st Airborne Division and has a target stone in the memorial, told the DCNF. “Recognizing the valor and leadership of a foe does not constitute the endorsement of their cause.”

Congress instructed DOD to identify and root out any symbols, buildings, equipment or other assets that might appear to commemorate the Confederacy in 2021, according to a statement. In response, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin tapped civilian and defense officials to review every single DOD asset and make a list of recommendations for change, ordering the changes in October. Medical Center Accused of Performing Illegal ‘Gender Transitioning’ Surgeries on Children — Texas AG Launches Investigation

Republican Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced on Friday that his office had launched an investigation into Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin after allegations surfaced that the clinic illegally performs “gender transitioning” surgeries on children.

In 2021, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services declared that gender surgeries on minors are “child abuse.” Last year, Paxton issued an opinion that “so-called sex-change” surgeries and puberty blockers for children constitute child abuse under Texas law.

Paxton shared the announcement on Twitter, writing, “I am launching an investigation into Dell Children’s Medical Center regarding gender transitioning of minors. Gender transitioning minors is child abuse, and child abuse will not be tolerated.”

As part of the investigation, Paxton issued a Request to Examine to the medical center, which requires the institution to answer for the allegations to determine if any laws were violated.

Paxton said, “It is now alarmingly common for fringe activists to use their positions in medicine and health care to force experimental, life-altering procedures onto children.” (Read more from “Medical Center Accused of Performing Illegal ‘Gender Transitioning’ Surgeries on Children — Texas AG Launches Investigation” HERE)

Christian Mother of 4-Year-Old Forced to Partake in LGBT Ritual Vows to Appeal Judge’s Ruling in Discrimination Suit

A Christian couple took a London school to court after it reportedly coerced their 4-year-old into participating in an LGBT activist parade.

The presiding judge ultimately ruled against Christian parents Izoduwa and Shane Montague, claiming that the activist ritual did not advance “LGBT issues over other lifestyle forms” and was actually aligned with their Christian beliefs. He also underlined the importance of teaching LGBT issues in schools to ensure that “those who adhere to that lifestyle” receive a favorable treatment.

Despite this setback, the parents have not given up. They are going to appeal their case. . .

According to the London-based nonprofit Christian Concern, the Heavers Farm Primary School in Croydon, South London, held a pride celebration in 2018. Parents were notified of the event only a few days in advance with a rainbow-colored invitation to attend.

Ahead of the event, young students were reportedly taught popular “gay anthems,” which they were ultimately tasked with singing while marching around the school. U.S. To Fast-Track $500M Military Package to Taiwan: Report

The United States is reportedly fast-tracking a $500 million military aid package to Taiwan as top officials grow concerned about the pace of Chinese aggression against the island nation.

The Biden administration is planning to use authority that it has relied on to expedite aid to Ukraine, according to Bloomberg. The Defense Department will take from stockpiles of U.S. weapons and ammunition under the Presidential Drawdown Authority to give to Taiwan.

The package would be the first sent to Taiwan using the drawdown authority. The Biden administration is looking to streamline U.S. aid to Taiwan because of assessments that China is undeterred in its ambition to retake the island nation.

The 2023 National Defense Authorization Act allocated $3 billion in annual military aid to Taiwan, according to Defense News. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin told the Senate Armed Services Committee in March that the Pentagon intends to send $1 billion in aid to Taiwan with the Presidential Drawdown Authority.

The Biden administration has already sent tens of billions of dollars-worth of aid to Ukraine using the fast-track authority since Russia’s invasion last year. Between January 2022 to February 2023, the United States has committed nearly $80 billion in aid to Ukraine, according to a tracker at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. About $48 billion of that aid is military, $4 billion is humanitarian, and $27 billion is economic. (Read more from “U.S. To Fast-Track $500M Military Package to Taiwan: Report” HERE)

Top WHO Scientist Behind Report Questioning COVID Lab Leak Theory Axed Over Alleged Sexual Misconduct

A Danish scientist who headed up the World Health Organization’s investigation into China over the origin of COVID has been fired over alleged sexual misconduct.

According to a new report from The Financial Times, Peter Ben Embarek was fired last year from the WHO after the organization said that they had found he was guilty of sexual misconduct following an investigation. Embarek was known for leading a WHO team investigation into the origins of COVID that declared the lab leak theory as “extremely unlikely.”

“Peter Ben Embarek was dismissed following findings of sexual misconduct against him and corresponding disciplinary process,” WHO spokeswoman Marcia Poole said. “The findings concern allegations relating to 2015 and 2017 that were first received by the WHO investigations team in 2018.”

Poole said that there were other “victim(s) [who] did not wish to engage with the investigation process.”

Embarek told Reuters that he was in the dark about allegations made against him, but said that a 2017 incident “was settled immediately in a friendly way.” (Read more from “Top WHO Scientist Behind Report Questioning COVID Lab Leak Theory Axed Over Alleged Sexual Misconduct” HERE)

Popular Women’s Clothing Brand Faces Heat for Advertising Men Dancing in Dresses (VIDEO)

Anthropologie, a famous women’s clothing store, had customers so upset over their recent advertisement featuring male modeling dresses the brand had to turn off commenting on their social media posts.

Earlier this week, Anthropologie posted an Instagram reel of a man dancing around in women’s dresses, causing outrage from its longtime consumers.

The brand was forced to delete the video and turn off all commenting following the significant backlash of the video.

In one of the videos, a muscular man with a shaved haircut twirled around in a dress, exposing his underwear.

Prominent figures reacted harshly to the posts, condemning the brand’s progressive move to feature a man in women’s clothes.

LGBTQ Activist: Bud Light Will Go ‘Extinct’ for Handling of Transgender Controversy

Anheuser-Busch has drawn more criticism since it caved to “transphobic outcries” amid the Dylan Mulvaney controversy, an LGBTQ activist claims.

According to Stacy Lentz, the brewery “missed an opportunity to stand by their commitment to the trans community by pandering to and giving into transphobic outcries,” Newsweek reported Tuesday.

“As far as marketing, I hope and think they realized that as a brand they will be extinct in a few years if they are not fully on the side of equality, as that is what the Gen Z consumer expects and demands,” she continued.

Lentz is a co-owner of New York City’s Stonewall Inn, according to the Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative website.

Meanwhile, Bud Light sales have continued to drop since the company announced its partnership with Mulvaney, a transgender advocate.

Republican Warns Democrat’s Obsession With Gender Identity Will Destroy U.S. Military Branches

Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala) is calling out the U.S. Navy for enlisting woke, progressive ideas in an attempt to recruit members, threatening the country’s national security.

The Republican warned that the Navy is having a “Bud Light moment” after news broke it had hired a non-binary officer to be its drag queen “Digital Ambassador” to entice recruits.

“My concern is that our new national obsession with sexuality, race, and gender is focused on self rather than purpose, ability, or service. I spent 40 years recruiting young men to play football. What the Navy is doing isn’t a good recruiting strategy,” Tuberville wrote in an opinion piece for the Washington Street Journal.

Instead of focusing on real issues the military branch faces, such as low recruitment levels, aging aircraft, and poor shipyard conditions, Tuberville pointed out that the Navy is too busy worrying about caving to the Democrat’s “woke identity politics” agenda. IRS Has Spent $10 Million on ‘Weaponry and Gear’ Since Start of Coronavirus Pandemic, Report Says

By Fox News. The Internal Revenue Service has spent $10 million on “weaponry and gear,” including rifles and tactical shotguns, since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, a new report says.

The findings from OpenTheBooks come as the IRS is looking to hire special agents who will carry guns and make arrests, with jobs available in all 50 states, according to a posting on the agency’s website.

“The years 2020 and 2021 were peak years at the IRS for purchasing weaponry and gear. Just since the pandemic started, the IRS has purchased $10 million in weaponry and gear,” says the report from OpenTheBooks, which describes itself as a nonprofit, nonpartisan “government watchdog organization.” . . .

OpenTheBooks says that prior to 2020, the IRS already had “4,500 guns and has stockpiled 5 million rounds of ammunition for use by its 2,159 special agents.” . . .

The organization also said there are “now more federal agents with arrest and firearm authority (200,000) than U.S. Marines (186,000).” (Read more from “IRS Has Spent $10 Million on ‘Weaponry and Gear’ Since Start of Coronavirus Pandemic, Report Says” HERE)

Twitter Fact-Checks Joe Biden

President Joe Biden found himself at the wrong end of Twitter’s fact-checking “Community Notes” function on Tuesday.

Biden pointed the finger at Republicans in the debt ceiling fight in a tweet amid the looming deadline.

“America is not a deadbeat nation,” Biden wrote. “We have never, ever failed to pay our debt. But MAGA Republicans are engaged in reckless hostage-taking by threatening to force America into default. It’s dangerous and wrong.”

A new feature of the platform under Elon Musk, called Community Notes, added some context to the tweet after it was posted. . .

Among the times the country defaulted, three happened within Biden’s lifetime: in 1968, 1971, and 1979, with the final time happening after Biden took office in the Senate. (Read more from “Twitter Fact-Checks Joe Biden” HERE)
