District Attorney Blocked From Enforcing State Law Shielding Kids From Explicit Performances

A federal judge blocked a Tennessee district attorney from enforcing the state’s law shielding children from sexually explicit performances ahead of a “Pride” event after he was sued by the American Civil Liberties Union.

The judge’s ruling comes after the ACLU filed a lawsuit this week against Blount County DA Ryan Desmond, who sent a letter to Blount County Pride saying that any explicit performances in front of children would not be allowed at a “Pride” event on September 2 just south of Knoxville. Video has emerged from “Pride” events across the country of explicit drag performances with children present and looking on.

“It is certainly possible that the event in question will not violate any of the criminal statutes,” Desmond said. “However if sufficient evidence is presented to this office that these referenced criminal statutes have been violated, our office will ethically and justly prosecute these cases in the interest of justice.”

Desmond had a temporary restraining order placed on him by U.S. District Judge Ronnie Greer meaning that he is blocked from enforcing Tennessee’s Adult Entertainment Act. Also part of the suit was Flamy Grant, who has been portrayed in the media as a “Christian” drag performer. Russia Deploys Intercontinental Ballistic Missile for ‘Combat Duty’

The head of Russia’s Roscosmos space agency said Friday that the country has deployed an advanced intercontinental ballistic missile that President Vladimir Putin once said will make Russia’s enemies “think twice.”

Agency head Yuri Borisov said Sarmat missiles have been placed on combat duty, according to Russian news agencies. Further details were not reported.

The Sarmat is one of several advanced weapons whose development Putin announced in 2018. The silo-based missile, capable of carrying multiple nuclear warheads, is intended to replace the R-36 ICBMs that are known by the NATO reporting name of Satan.

Ramaswamy: Trump’s Indictments Making U.S. A ‘Banana Republic’

Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that former President Donald Trump’s indictments were making the United States a “banana republic.”

“This Week” anchor George Stephanopoulos said, “Your hand shot up pretty fast at the debate when you were asked whether you would vote for Donald Trump in the general election, even if he was a convicted felon. Can you just explain why you would vote for a convicted felon for president?” . . .

Ramaswamy said, “So look. I think that many of these prosecutions against Donald Trump are outright, downright politicized persecutions through prosecution that set an awful precedent for our country. I do not want to see us become a banana republic where the administrative police state uses police force to eliminate opponents from competition. That is not the way it works. Activists Are Teaming Up to Fight Sex Change Surgeries for Minors in This Blue State

California activists from both political parties are teaming up to put measures on the state ballot that would ban child sex change surgeries and ensure fairness in women’s spaces, they told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Protect Kids California, a group formed by Jonathan Zachreson, a Republican, and Erin Friday, a Democrat, filed three statewide ballot initiatives on Monday to ban child sex changes and puberty blockers, keep men out of women’s sports and require school officials to inform parents if a child wants to transition his or her gender. The pair has support from both sides of the political aisle in their effort to push the initiatives through, they told the DCNF.

“The media and the California legislators make it seem that it’s a Democrat versus Republican issue, but it’s not. I would say the majority of Democrats agree with us on this,” Sophia Lorey, a female rights activist who spoke at the announcement of the initiatives, told the DCNF.

The Protect Children From Reproductive Harm Act would ban child sex change surgeries and puberty blockers in the state, according to the ballot initiative. The School Transparency And Partnership Act would require that school officials inform parents if a student decides they want to be referred to as a gender different than his or her biological sex, and the Protect Girls’ Sports And Spaces Act would establish sex-segregated bathrooms and locker rooms while banning males from competing in female sports. It’s Time for Conservatives to Reclaim Labor Day

Labor Day has historically been a left-wing holiday, with its roots in the 19th and 20th Century labor movements. While Republicans kick-off the summer with Memorial Day, the celebration of workers has long been ceded to the Democrats. However, 2016 marked an epochal shift in America’s political alignments. It’s high time for conservatives to reject their white collar attachments and fully become the party of the working man.

During the late 19th century, industrialization was transforming the American economy. Workers faced dehumanizing working conditions, long hours, low wages, and virtually non-existent safety standards. In response, labor unions began forming to advocate for better conditions and improve the lives of workers. The first Labor Day Parade took place in New York City in September 1882 to celebrate workers’ rights, but it would be some time before the country fully recognized the holiday.

The pivotal moment came in 1886, in what became known as the Haymarket Affair. On May 1, thousands of workers took to the streets of Chicago to demand 8-hour work days. After days of violent clashes, a bomb went off on May 4 killing police and civilians alike.

The depth of radicalism in the early labor movement is an inconvenient fact for today’s left. Far from the narrative of peace and love that the modern left has written into the history books, dreams of revolutionary communism were alive and well in the capitalist West.

The Haymarket Affair galvanized radicals throughout the West. An international federation of socialist groups declared May 1 International Workers’ Day, in commemoration of the violent backlash in Chicago. The holiday later became synonymous with the Soviet Union’s effort to spark global revolution, and continues to be celebrated throughout the world. Yet sensing the radical direction the labor movement was heading, President Grover Cleveland offered an olive branch. Manhunt Underway for ‘Extremely Dangerous’ Illegal Alien Killer Who Escaped Prison

A convicted illegal alien murderer is on the run this Labor Day weekend after having escaped from prison in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

A manhunt remains underway as police search for Danelo Cavalcante, a 34-year-old illegal alien from Brazil, after he escaped from Chester County Prison on August 31. A $10,000 reward is now being offered to the person who leads police to Cavalcante.

Cavalcante was spotted on surveillance footage on September 2 just 1.5 miles away from the prison and police believe he remains in the area but could now be elsewhere. . .

Less than three weeks before escaping from the prison, Cavalcante was convicted of murdering 33-year-old Deborah Brandao in front of her 7-year-old daughter and her 3-year-old son in April 2021. He received a sentence of life without parole.

As Breitbart News reported at the time, Cavalcante showed up at Brandao’s home while she was outside with her daughter and son. The illegal alien had threatened to kill the woman after she discovered that he was wanted in Brazil for murdering a man in November 2017.

Best Buy Employee Says He Was Fired After Exposing Alleged Religious Discrimination, LGBTQ Preference

Giant tech company Best Buy allegedly fired an employee after audio-recorded conversations at a Florida location between the worker and a manager revealed potential religious discrimination in the workplace while promoting preference for the LGBTQ community.

“My family fled religious persecution in Serbia so I could live my life as a Christian without being persecuted for my beliefs — yet that is exactly what is happening,” Enis Sujak, a former Best Buy employee and Geek Squad member, wrote on a GiveSendGo page. “On September 1, 2023, Best Buy terminated my employment because I stood firm against workplace discrimination based on my religion and I exercised my right to be a Christian.” . . .

During the conversation, Sujak asked his manager, Mike Hirsch, why LGBTQ flags are appropriate in the office, but Christian crosses were prohibited after he walked out of an employee session about the history of the LGBTQ Community in the workspace given by a “well-being” ambassador.

“Let’s have the cross all over the hub … why don’t we have Christian stuff all over?” Sujak said. . .

“It was like an hour and 30 minutes of he and I just going back and forth with him telling me that it was work appropriate to have all this LGBTQ stuff that’s going on in the office and everywhere else,” Sujak said. “But it’s not okay for me to, you know, be a Christian myself and have a Bible right over there — that’s right there at the office — or have a cross or a Koran or anything like that. Liberal Outlet Issues Massive Correction to Story About Alleged Fake Trump Interview

Left-wing outlet The Daily Beast issued a substantial correction on Friday regarding its reporting that the owner of Real America’s Voice told them the network was investigating whether an interview with former President Donald Trump was a fake impersonation.

The Daily Beast’s original article claimed that Real America’s Voice Owner Robert J. Sigg said that an investigation was underway into the Trump interview hosted by John Solomon and Amanda Head, and it quoted Sigg as criticizing the staff members, according to an archived version of the article. The liberal outlet issued an editor’s note on Friday that “a spokesperson for Real America’s Voice said that it was not Sigg” who was interviewed.

“This story has been updated to remove quotes attributed to the owner of Real America’s Voice, Robert Sigg, saying he is investigating whether the call was a prank and criticizing network staffers,” the editor’s note states. “A Daily Beast reporter had a conversation by text with a person who identified themselves as Sigg, on a number public records show was once associated with Sigg—but a spokesperson for Real America’s Voice said that it was not Sigg and is not his current number.”

There was online speculation that the Trump phone interview was either with a prankster or AI because of the glitchy connection and voice, according to The Daily Beast. However, Trump posted a clip from the interview on Truth Social, stating that “crooked Joe Biden is the most incompetent President in history, and he’s the most corrupt President in history,” and a member of his campaign confirmed to the Daily Caller News Foundation the interview was real.

Obama’s Biden Scandal: When Did the 44th President Know About His VP’s Foreign Business Dealings?

Mounting evidence demonstrates that then-Vice President Joe Biden illegally used his office to make millions for his family, and those financial interests affected U.S. policy. Investigators in Congress, legitimate journalists and ultimately prosecutors can’t form a complete picture of the wrongdoing without incorporating the actions of then-President Barack Obama and his staff.

It increasingly looks like the man who famously said “Never underestimate Joe’s ability to f—- things up” allowed the Biden family to operate with impunity right under his nose. It’s another blemish for the 44th president’s legacy, which is more and more in shambles.

“Obamacare” was a failure, raising health care costs by an average of 40% and eliminating health care choices for tens of millions of Americans.

Mr. Obama was in on the Russia collusion scheme and spying operation against then-candidate Donald Trump. Claims he made about his personal story have been brought into question. His acquiescence to Russia’s conquest of the Donbas in 2014 helped pave the way for the current war in Ukraine that has killed tens of thousands. His so-called red lines on foreign policy were a mirage, and they emboldened radical Islamists.

Trump to ‘COVID Tyrants’: ‘We Will Not Comply’

Former President Donald Trump in a campaign video Wednesday made a defiant reply to “left-wing lunatics” and “COVID tyrants” who are “trying very hard to bring back COVID lockdowns and mandates with their sudden fear-mongering about variants”: “We will not comply.”

Trump mocked the timing of the resurgent COVID hysteria, saying, “Gee-whiz, you know what else is coming? An election.”

“They want to restart the COVID hysteria so they can justify more lockdowns, more censorship, more illegal drop boxes, more mail-in ballots, and trillions of dollars in payoffs to their political allies heading into the 2024 election. Does that sound familiar?” he said in the statement, which is posted on the “Team Trump” X account with the words: “COVID Tyrants want to take away our Freedom. Hear my words – WE WILL NOT COMPLY.” (Team Trump is the official X account for the Trump campaign.)

. . .”But to every COVID tyrant who wants to take away our freedom, hear these words: we will not comply,” he said. “So don’t even think about it. We will not shut down our schools. We will not accept your lockdowns. We will not abide by your mask mandates, and we will not tolerate your vaccine mandates.”

“They rigged the 2020 election and now they’re trying to do the same thing all over again by rigging the most important election in the history of our country – the 2024 election – even if it means trying to bring back COVID,” he said.
