Pentagon Extends Hundreds of Troops’ Stay on Mexico Border

The Pentagon has extended the deployment of 400 troops to the United States’s southern border with Mexico through the end of September, the Department of Defense confirmed Friday.

The extension comes after the Pentagon assigned 1,500 troops to the southern border in May for 90 days. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin pulled 1,100 troops away from the border in August, but he extended the deployment for the remaining 400.

“On August 24, 2023, the Secretary of Defense approved an extension of up to 400 personnel providing support to Customs and Border Protection on the Southwest border through September 30, 2023,” Pentagon spokesman Lt. Col. Devin Robinson told NBC News.

It was the second extension for the 400 troops. The original deployment was ahead of an expected surge in migration in Texas and Arizona at the end of Title 42. However, the surge in border crossings never occurred and numbers in fact dwindled to 3,000 per day, instead of 10,000, before the expiration. Mothers With Young Children Working at Highest-Ever-Recorded Rate

Mothers with children under 5 years old are working now more than ever before, according to a report from the Brookings Institution.

According to Brookings’ Hamilton Project, 70.4% of women with children under the age of five were participating in the workforce, compared to 68.9% before the pandemic.

Ten years ago, this group had a labor force participation rate of around 63%.

The rate is even higher for women with at least a bachelor’s degree, whose pre-pandemic peak was 77.9%, but have reached nearly 81% as of April.

“They and women without children are so far the only groups who across all education levels have generally returned to or exceeded pre-pandemic rates of participation,” study authors Lauren Bauer, Hamilton Project associate director, and Sarah Yu Wang, research intern, wrote. Major Lawsuit to Charge Biden With Corruption for Censorship Schemes

The American Center for Law and Justice has announced that it is working on a major lawsuit, on behalf of renowned commentator Charlie Kirk and his Turning Point USA organization, accusing the Biden administration of massive violations of the First Amendment.

In an online report, ACLJ official Jordan Sekulow explains it’s all about the government’s insistence that social media and other companies censor comments it dislikes. . .

Jordan Sekulow’s report explained, “Before the 2020 election, Kirk had millions of followers on social media. But after President Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) began suppressing conservative social media accounts, Kirk lost hundreds of thousands of followers. Such Deep State interference violated Kirk’s First Amendment right to free speech.”

He reported the campaign began “After the media promoted rampant false claims that Russia had stolen the 2016 election [and] the Obama Administration shifted its focus to foreign election threats.”

NYC’s Disgusting Pot Stench Is Keeping Tourists Away

It’s not just prissy European tennis players who can’t stand it. Every single person who visits New York City is disgusted by our unofficial new scent: marijuana.

And the truth is, so are most sane New Yorkers.

As The Post reported on Friday’s front page, everywhere you go in the five boroughs now reeks of pot. Expense-account restaurants such as Nobu 57 and ritzy stores like Saks Fifth Avenue have the musty whiff of a college dorm room. Puffing stoners are turning the subway’s 123 into CBD. . .

These are Europeans we’re talking about! Most Americans think of that party-hardy continent as far more freewheeling and permissive than the US when it comes to sex, drugs and booze consumption. Well, we’ve shocked ‘em all this time.

Excavation Comes up Empty: Zero Bodies Have Been Recovered From Canada’s ‘Unmarked Mass Graves’

A recent excavation project commissioned by a Native American leader at a Catholic church found no evidence of human remains, again casting doubt on allegations of Canada’s so-called “unmarked mass graves.”

Canada was rocked two years ago by reports of hundreds, or even thousands, of these alleged “unmarked mass graves” of Native American children at residential schools, which were funded by the Canadian government and run by Catholics and other Christians. So far, not a single body has been recovered.

Reports from this summer indicated that there could be the remains of 60 children on the premises, and then ground-penetrating radar found 14 “anomalies” in the basement of Our Lady of Seven Sorrows church, which sits beside the former Pine Creek Residential School. Like the dozen other reports before this one, the media suggested these “anomaly” detections were likely the bodies of children who were apparently killed or neglected to the point of death and then secretly buried in these “unmarked graves.” Wanting answers, Chief Derek Nepinak of Pine Creek First Nation helped commission an excavation, which started on July 24 and lasted about four weeks. In August, the chief announced that the team from the University of Brandon found no human remains.

“The archaeological team we hired from the University of Brandon, which is the same archaeological team relied upon by regional police agencies when doing archaeological excavations, found no conclusive evidence of human remains in their excavation of the ground under the church basement,” Chief Nepinak said. Mom Scores $100,000 Legal Win After School Secretly Transitions Daughter

A mother from California was awarded a $100,000 judgment against the Spreckels Union School District after a middle school in the district secretly socially transitioned the woman’s 11-year-old daughter.

Jessica Konen’s daughter Alicia was referred to with male pronouns by teachers at Buena Vista Middle School and was permitted to use the boys’ bathroom, all without Konen’s knowledge or consent.

“Parents, please be bold, stand up for your children; fight for them, and fight for your rights,” Konen said in a video posted by the nonprofit Center for American Liberty following the ruling. “We let our voices be known, and we are so glad we did.”

Konen’s lawsuit said her daughter joined her school’s “Equality Club” in sixth grade and learned about “LGBT concepts,” transgenderism, and bisexuality, National Review reported. The school then helped to facilitate Alicia’s social gender transition, “giving her articles on how to conceal her supposed new gender identity from her mother and giving her a ‘Gender Support Plan’ that required school staff to refer to her by a male name,” the suit said. Pentagon Launches Public Website Dedicated to UFO Sightings

A website to provide official declassified information on UFOs, including pictures and videos of sightings, for the public to access was launched Thursday by the Pentagon.

The official page will enable the public to interact with the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), a relatively new Pentagon office tasked with reviewing and analyzing UFOs.

It will also provide an unrestricted mechanism for UFO reporting. The site can be found here.

The Pentagon’s own press release announcing the move states other content includes “reporting trends and a frequently asked questions section as well as links to official reports, transcripts, press releases, and other resources that the public may find useful, such as applicable statutes and aircraft, balloon and satellite tracking sites.” (Read more from “Pentagon Launches Public Website Dedicated to UFO Sightings” HERE)

The bachelor from Brazil just turned 113 in July 2023 and took a smiling birthday photo that showed him holding his ID with his date of birth. . .

Where Is Kamala Harris? VP Has Spent Nearly One Month Away Since 2024 Campaign Launch

Vice President Kamala Harris has had 27 work days with nothing on her public schedule since the launch of the Biden-Harris reelection campaign, a Daily Caller analysis found.

On days the vice president had something on her public schedule, her schedule frequently consisted of having one event during the entire day. The events included having lunch with President Joe Biden, receiving a brief with the president, and eating with foreign leaders, the Daily Caller found using Politico Playbook records of Harris’ schedule.

Biden and Harris announced their reelection campaign April 25. Harris was prominently featured in the campaign materials, appearing front and center on the website and launch video. Since, she has appeared alongside Biden in debt ceiling negotiations and at various ceremonies. While on her own, Harris has traveled across the country to give remarks on maternal health, climate change and the Inflation Reduction Act.

In May, Harris had nothing on her public schedule for five weekdays. Nine days out of the month, Harris only had one activity on her calendar, which ranged from morning briefings with the president, greeting the women’s LSU basketball team to hosting the president of the Philippines for brunch. Email: Biden Used ‘Robin Ware’ Alias to Email Hunter About White House Hire

Then-Vice President Joe Biden used his “Robin Ware” alias to email Hunter Biden in 2014 about a potential White House employment of then-Deputy White House Counsel John McGrail, emails from Hunter’s “laptop from hell” show.

On June 23, 2014, Hunter emailed “Robin Ware” from a Rosemont Seneca Partners email address.

“Before you fill position pls talk to me—– J. McGrail very much wants to serve as detail fr treasury,” Hunter wrote.

“Re Johnny call me right away Dad,” Joe Biden’s alias replied minutes later. . . .

On a separate occasion, “Robert Peters” alias received an email about a scheduled call with then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, who fired Viktor Shokin, the prosecutor investigating the Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings.
