The Senate has confirmed President Biden’s nominee pick for ambassador to Israel.

Jacob Lew won in a 53-43 vote after weeks of Republican opposition.

Glenn Beck isn’t so sure he’s right for the job despite the fact that Lew himself is an orthodox Jew. . .

“Apparently, Jack Lew is one of the main players in Obama’s Iran nuclear deal. He is also the main guy Obama used to sell the deal to the Jewish community,” Glenn explains, adding, “He probably quickly realized the deal backfired.”

Glenn worries there’s a chance Lew will use his “financial and negotiation skills” to “continue what Biden has been doing all along: appeasing Iran, making the perfect opportunity for government money laundering.”

Poll: Homeschooling Continues to Rise Dramatically

Homeschooling has become America’s fastest-growing form of education and continues to explode in popularity long after pandemic-era remote learning has ended, a new Washington Post analysis shows.

The dramatic rise in homeschooling that began during the pandemic continued through the school year that ended this past spring, according to the Post’s analysis, which looked at data from nearly 7,000 school districts across the country.

Homeschooling’s continued popularity flies in the face of predictions that most families would go back to in-person classes at schools once controversial pandemic restrictions like mask mandates ended. Another concern parents had after the pandemic is learning loss in public schools, which may also be driving some families to homeschool.

“Home schooling’s surging popularity crosses every measurable line of politics, geography and demographics,” the Post’s analysis stated.

The analysis looked at data from 32 states and the District of Columbia, which represent more than 60% of school-age children. The data is incomplete because some states do not have reliable tallies of homeschoolers, and 11 states, including Texas, Michigan, Connecticut, and Illinois, do not require families to notify the state when they decide to homeschool. Marine Corps Central Command Cancels Annual Ball Due to ‘Unforeseen Operational Commitments’

U.S. Marine Corps Major Gen. Chris A. McPhillips announced Tuesday that the 248th Marine Corps Ball has been canceled by the U.S. Central Command, citing “unforeseen operational commitments.”

McPhillips announced the update to the annual event, scheduled on November 16 in Tampa, Florida, for former and retired maritime land forces to get dressed to the nines and celebrate the tradition and legacy of the Marine Corps.

“Due to unforeseen operational commitments and the nature of our current mission, it is with great regret that we must cancel this year’s event,” McPhillips wrote in a letter.

The Central Command’s decision to cancel the celebration resulted from the Marine Corps’ “primary responsibility” to guarantee the defense and security of the United States, McPhillips said.

“It is this commitment to duty that has necessitated the cancellation of what would undoubtedly have been an exceptional evening of camaraderie and tradition,” he said, expressing gratitude for the “immense effort” to those who spent the time and energy to plan the event.

Report: Biden Meddles in Israeli Politics During War; Seeks Netanyahu Replacement

President Joe Biden is trying to pick a successor to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to a new report citing White House sources — and he is doing so despite the fact that Israel is at war against the Hamas terrorist organization. . .

But a Politico report — based on leaks, perhaps, by sources who want to damage Netanyahu — suggests that the White House is trying to swap Israeli leaders in the middle of the war:

Joe Biden and top aides have discussed the likelihood that Benjamin Netanyahu’s political days are numbered — and the president has conveyed that sentiment to the Israeli prime minister in a recent conversation.

The topic of Netanyahu’s short political shelf life has come up in recent White House meetings involving Biden, according to two senior administration officials. That has included discussions that have taken place since Biden’s trip to Israel, where he met with Netanyahu.

With an eye toward the future, U.S. officials are talking to Benny Gantz, a member of the current unity government; Naftali Bennett, a former prime minister; and Yair Lapid, an opposition leader and former prime minister, among other Israeli figures, the former official said.

Audio: Hamas Admits Taking Fuel From Gaza Hospitals for Itself

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released an audio recording Wednesday of a phone call it says was between the manager of a hospital, the commander of a Hamas battallion, and a citizen in Gaza in which the Hamas terrorist admits taking fuel from the hospital.

In a statement via the Government Press Office (GPO), the IDF said:

This conversation between a commander of Hamas’s Western Jabaliya Battalion and a Gazan resident, with the participation of the director of the Indonesian Hospital, was intercepted by the Israeli Military Intelligence. Despite the sensitive nature of this intelligence, this intercept is being declassified to expose Hamas’s cynical exploitation of humanitarian resources in the Gaza Strip. The video confirms that Hamas controls energy distribution in Gaza, prioritizing terrorist needs over the needs of their civilian population.

In this phone call, a Hamas commander repeatedly alludes to Hamas taking fuel from the hospital’s stocks, “working as a government for the sake of the country.”

Hamas continues to exploit humanitarian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip to support its terrorist activities at the expense of the residents of Gaza.

Mother, Son Charged With Kidnapping Over Minor’s Out-of-State Abortion

An 18-year-old man and his mother have been arrested after police said he raped a 15-year-old girl and took her across state lines for an abortion.

According to the Idaho State Journal, Kadyn Leo Swainston, 18, and his mother, Rachael Swainston, of Pocatello, were each charged with several felony crimes following an investigation that began in June.

ISJ noted that Kadyn Swainston has been charged with rape, second-degree kidnapping and three counts of producing child sexually exploitative material. Rachael Swainston has been charged with second-degree kidnapping, trafficking in methamphetamine, two counts of possession of a controlled substance – one each for possessing fentanyl and psychedelic mushrooms — and one count of harboring a wanted felon.

Reportedly, the investigation started in June when the 15-year-old girl’s mother contacted authorities to report that her child had been raped. Additionally, the mother claimed that her child was taken to Bend, Oregon for an abortion without her permission. One Country Severs All Ties With Israel

On Tuesday, officials in Bolivia announced that it had severed all diplomatic ties with Israel for its defensive attacks on Gaza.

Bolivia “decided to break diplomatic relations with the Israeli state in repudiation and condemnation of the aggressive and disproportionate Israeli military offensive taking place in the Gaza Strip,” Deputy Foreign Minister Freddy Mamani said at a press conference, according to a report from Reuters.

Reportedly, Bolivia previously cut ties with Israel in 2009. This was done in protest of Israel’s actions in Gaza. Years later, in 2020, the two countries reestablished ties.

“We reject the war crimes being committed in Gaza. We support international initiatives to guarantee humanitarian aid, in compliance with international law,” Bolivian President Arce reportedly said on Monday.

Donald Trump Jr. Cracks Jokes, Draws Courtroom Laughter During 75-Minute Testimony at $250M Fraud Trial

Donald Trump Jr. took the witness stand in a Manhattan courtroom Wednesday to defend himself in the $250 million civil fraud trial that threatens his dad’s real estate empire — firing off several jokes as he denied working on the financial statements that are key to the case. . .

“I did not,” the former president’s eldest child said when asked if he had ever worked on his father’s “statement of financial condition” – documents that James alleges Trump falsified from 2011 through 2017 by pumping up his net worth to the tune of billions per year.

“The accountants worked on it, that’s what we pay them for,” Don Jr. said. . .

During the testimony — which lasted for roughly 75 minutes Wednesday and featured James observing from the front row — Don Jr. joked that he has “no understanding” of accounting lingo.

Disturbing Video Shows Harvard Student Aggressively Mobbed by Pro-Palestinian Demonstrators Yelling ‘Shame’ on Campus

Troubling video footage shows a Harvard University student getting aggressively mobbed by pro-Palestinian demonstrators on the Ivy League campus screaming, “Shame, shame, shame.”

More than a half-dozen demonstrators are seen holding keffiyehs — traditional Palestinian scarves — in the student’s face as they surround him and stop him from getting away, video posted on X show.

The disturbing footage was posted Wednesday but is from an Oct. 18 “Stop the genocide in Gaza” die-in demonstration by the Harvard Business School, according to school officials and media reports.

Scores of students participated in the radical demonstration held 11 days after Hamas terrorists launched a surprise attack on Israel on Oct. 7, which killed 1,400 Israelis and prompted a swift retaliatory offense from the Jewish state.

Teacher on Leave After Allegedly Saying ‘Hail Satan’ to Students While Waving Pitchfork Over Their Head (VIDEO)

A public high school teacher in Mesa, Arizona, is on paid administrative leave after allegedly donning devil horns and saying “hail Satan” to students while waving a pitchfork over their heads as they entered the classroom. . .

Sophomore Nathaniel Hamlet told KPNX-TV he walked into his Mesa High School class last Wednesday and noticed his teacher wearing devil horns and carrying a pitchfork.

Hamlet alleged to the station that his teacher proceeded to wave the pitchfork over students’ heads as they entered the classroom and said “hail Satan” to them. . .

But it got personal for Hamlet — a Christian — particularly when he said his teacher kept up the routine with him even after he told the teacher to stop, the station noted.

“I said, ‘Don’t do that to me,’ and I pushed [the pitchfork] away, maybe three or four times, and he still said it and still did it,” Hamlet recounted to KPNX.
