Biden Appears To Forget He Loves Ice Cream In Softball Seacrest Interview

President Joe Biden appeared to forget — at least momentarily — about his well-documented love for ice cream during a brief exchange with host Ryan Seacrest on “Dick Clark’s New Tear’s Rockin’ Eve.”

Both the president and First Lady Jill Biden chatted with Seacrest during the holiday special on Sunday evening, and the former “American Idol” host lobbed a series of softball questions their way.

Ryan Seacrest asks Joe Biden what he has been eating.

Biden: "I've been eating everything that's put in front of me! I've eaten pasta, which I love. Eaten a lot of chicken, chicken parmesan…"

Then Jill Biden has to remind Joe: "And ice cream!"

At one point, Seacrest asked the president to share some of the holiday foods he had been enjoying as he had traveled first to Camp David and then to St. Croix, the U.S. Virgin Islands, over the last week.

“I’ve been eating everything that’s put in front of me!” Biden replied. “I’ve eaten pasta, which I love. Eaten a lot of chicken, chicken parmesan, I’ve been eating all Italian foods basically —”

“And ice cream,” Jill Biden reminded him, interrupting.
