This demographic tends to believe in the potential for negotiating with Hamas for peace, supporting an unconditional ceasefire in Gaza, and favoring the restoration of the Palestinian Authority in the region. Notably, a majority of 18-24-year-olds express the belief that Israel is committing “genocide” in Gaza, despite a simultaneous majority view that Israel aims to avoid civilian casualties.
The poll also touches on various aspects related to the conflict, including opinions on the nature of the Hamas attack on Israel in October, views on President Joe Biden’s Iran policy, and support for U.S. strikes against Houthi terrorists in Yemen.
